Tonight MCPW Live is back home at Calihan Hall and what a night of action we have scheduled tonight. AJ Styles will take on former stable mate Homicide, Kenny Dykstra and Harry Smith mix it up once more this time in a Glass Death match. The tag team Champions Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli put their titles on the line against the Havana Pittbulls. Low-Ki will be in action tonight putting the TV title up against Crazy J of the Irish Airborne, a huge four corners match pitting Bobby Roode, Petey Williams, Nigel McGuinness and Chris Daniels. The main even has Samoa Joe locking up with the Minister of Darkness, Raven. All of this and more tonight on MCPW Live!


AJ Styles pinned Homicide with the Styles Clash in 0:10:13.

AJ Styles continued to take out the competition as Homicide was the latest to fall to the Styles Clash. After the match he called out Low-Ki and demanded he stop hiding and put the TV title up against him. He then continued by saying that Low-Ki can run but can't hide and that the Coalition will have both his titles soon.

Glass Death Match:
Kenny Dykstra pinned Harry Smith with the Guillotine Legdrop in 0:16:25.

Last week Harry Smith caused Dykstra a chance to win the TV title, this week Dykstra got his revenge in a Glass Death match. This one got bloody quick but both men put on one hell of a show but in this long running feud Dykstra came out ahead tonight.

MCPW Tag Team Titles:
The Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli) defeated
The Havana Pitbulls (Ricky Reyes and Rocky Romero) when Hero pinned R. Reyes
after a power bomb in 0:17:20.

(The Kings of Wrestling retained the MCPW Tag Team Titles.)

The Pittbulls came into this one looking to take the tag titles from the Kings, but the champs showed why they are champs and held off a determined Ricky Reyes and Rocky Romero to hold on to the straps.

MCPW Television Title
Low-Ki pinned Crazy J with the Ki Crusher in 0:08:53.

(Low-Ki retained the MCPW Television Title.)

Crazy J tried to take the TV title from the champ but Low-Ki was to much for him tonight hitting the KI Crusher to pick up the win. The champ then answered Styles challenge and said he doesn't hide from no one and any place and any time he can come down and try take the title from him.

Bryan Danielson made Katsushi Takemura submit to a dragon sleeper in 0:11:25.

Katsushi Takemura took one Bryan Danielson and to say they put on a performance would be an understatement. Both men former Tag team champions, went all out at each other but it was the American Dragon with the Dragon sleeper that came out ahead.

The Naturals (Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens) defeated
Paul London and Brian Kendrick when C. Stevens pinned P. London after
a vertical facebuster in 0:11:33.

In a match to see who will get a shot at the tag titles, it was the Naturals coming out ahead of London and Kendrick. The momentum changed when Kendrick missed a dropkick off the top rope allowing Chase Stevens to hit the facebuster.

Four Corners Match:
Bobby Roode defeated Christopher Daniels, Petey Williams and Nigel McGuinness
when B. Roode pinned N. McGuinness with the Northern Lariat in 0:18:44.

[Scott D'Amore interfered against Nigel McGuinness.]

In this grudge match Bobby Roode came out on top with help from D'Amore who hit McGuinness in the back with the hockey stick. General Manager Bill DeMott came out and announced a 5 man elimination match next week Winner gets a shot at the Television title. He said three of you will be in and one will be out but he has a special match for the one left out.

Adam Pearce pinned CM Punk for the win in 0:11:48.

Pearce picked up the win when Raven and Dykstra came down to the ring. Adam Pearce and Punk were both blindsided by Dykstra when Raven distracted the ref. Dykstra rolled Pearce over Punk. The ref not sure what was going on counted to three.

Raven pinned Samoa Joe with the Raven Effect in 0:02:39.

After the attack by Dykstra and Raven on CM Punk, Samoa Joe came running down to the ring to be met head on by Christian Cage and the rest of the Coalition. They worked over Joe outside of the ring then tossed his lifeless body to Raven who hit the Raven Effect to get the win. Cage then slid into the ring and started to work on Joe but Low-Ki came down with a chair of his on and cleared the ring. Cage is jawing with the camp outside the ring. Low - Ki begs then to come back in as we are out of time, will see you next week!

Coming and goings


Osamu Nishimura and Motor City Pro Wrestling has come to an agreement and have released Nishimura from hic contract.


Injuries


MCPW TV and Heavyweight Champion Low-Ki stained his hamstring during his match against Crazy J. It is reported he will only miss one week.


Backstage:

On 5/1/08 MCPW will be live at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison Wisconsin. We have been told that both the TV and Heavyweight titles will be defended. Champion Low-Ki will defend the Television title against the winner of the 5 man Elimination match next week, he will then later that night defend the MCPW Heavyweight title against Christian Cage. How will Low-Ki's injured hamstring play out?
