Footage is shown of the rivalry between Air Paris & The Hurricane. Melissa Martinez is backstage with 3CW's resident superhero.
MM: Hurricane, up next you are once again going up against Air Paris: a man that has given you a lot of trouble ever since he joined up with Raven & the Forsaken.
H: Well, good citizen, while it is true that Air Paris has been hard to handle since joining Raven's cult of misfits, it's just as true that The Hurricane has stood his ground against the tyranny that they represent. Just as it is true that, through howling winds & pouring rains, no evil shall stop THE HURRICANE! (Hurricane whooshes off screen)

The Hurricane pinned Air Paris with the Eye Of The Hurricane in 0:13:35.
Rating: *** ¾

MM: Christian Cage, last week you defeated Bryan Danielson, only to come up short against Samoa Joe. (Cage glares at her)  I guess the question is: "Can you bounce back & get back into the title picture?"
CC: (mockingly) Can you bounce back & get back into the nyan nyah nyah? Shut up & listen you frog faced bimbo. I'm Christian Cage. I have done just about everything there is to do in this business. There is no one that I can't beat. No title I can't take. If you didn't know, now you do. 'Cause that's how I roll.

As attendants & officials tend to the 2 bloody combatants, the announce team fills everyone in on the second big announcement from the Board of Directors. Next week, January 6, 2007, the new 3CW will go global with a new weekly television program. And seeing how no one gave 3CW much of a chance to survive, and how no one wanted the promotion around, we're not just coming "In Your House", we don't want to be your invited guests, we're coming to take over your television with a full on "Home Invasion"! After the announcement footage is shown highlighting the rivalry between the NYC & 3CW Tag Team Champions: AJ Styles & Rey Mysterio.

Raven & Lita are backstage.
R: Human history is a strange paradox. It is one of yearning & evolution, emblazoned by the bright flame of hope. But it is also littered with horrors: unspeakable acts of injustice & humility. As humans, we desire to dwell in a utopic wonderland, devoid of life's harsh realities. A world of magic, miracles, & dreams, yet the cold reality is that wars, violence, and man's inhumanity to man are inherent in the fabric of our world. Our passion is our blessing. It is the very thing that makes us human, a trait that separates us from the animal world. But the irony is that passion is also the culprit. Remove passion from any conflict, and there is no conflict. Yet, remove passion & there is no humanity. We are the nexus of everything. Our past & our future, our hopes & our horrors, our tainted heritage & our brightest dreams, and true to our nature, when even the most noble passions collide we become less of what we wish to be and more of what we were. How lofty are your dreams? What are you willing to sacrifice in pursuit of destiny? How high are you daring to fly? How low will you stoop to embrace selfish desires? The noble, the fallen, on this night victory shall go to he who is willing to sacrifice both body & soul. So it is written, so it shall come to pass. Quote the Raven: "Nevermore."

(Clockwork Orange House Of Fun Match:):
Edge pinned Raven with the Spear in 20:35.

As the officials clean up the battle torn ringside area, Melissa Martinez is backstage with the former 3CW Champion: Samoa Joe.
MM: Joe, up next you will finally get your chance to regain the 3CW Title that Kurt Angle won at November To Remember.
SJ: The thing to remember Melissa, is that Kurt Angle never beat me to win that belt. He defeated someone else in a 4 Corners match to steal MY title. And then he proceeded to stoop to all kinds of lows to  keep me from getting it back. Well, now, tonight, Kurt, you & I will go at just 1 more time. And I will not quit, I will not surrender. I will just keep coming & coming & coming at you from all sides. I will break you down. I will make you bleed. I will make you hurt. I will make you wish you were dead, but, you'll keep going. Because, you'll be too afraid that I won't let you die. (Joe sneers at Melissa & walks off)

No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Match:
Kurt Angle pinned Samoa Joe with the Angle Slam in 0:25:38.
Rating: **** 3/4
(Kurt Angle retained the Third Coast Wrestling Title.)

3CW Newsline:

Next week will kick off a "new era" for 3CW. Starting off with the change of our name from Third Coast Wrestling to Cross Continental Championship Wrestling. Coming with that, the board of directors have managed to get a weekly television timeslot. And seeing how we at 3CW have never been ones to be invited guests, we will showcase our outlaw tactics & attitude each week as we broadcast "Home Invasion".

Another new announcement to add to our premier broadcast of Home Invasion from our home city of Chicago, is that the board of directors will be naming a special enforcer to keep the peace in 3CW.

The following matches have been announced for our debut on National television:

Due to his big win in the battle royal; Val Venis has earned a shot at the 3CW Heavyweight Title, still held by Kurt Angle.

Raven has invoked the rematch clause in his contract. Therefore, he will face new 3CW TV Champion: Edge for the gold. However, the Board of Directors has seen fit to add another deserving name to the list, making it a Triple Threat match in which new champion: Edge must face former title holder: Raven & the man that has battled at the new champion's side against The Forsaken: The Hurricane.

Christian Cage has made his intentions clear, he wants another chance at the 3CW Title. Standing in his way next week will be the former champion: Samoa Joe, who has vowed that he will not rest until the title is back around his waist.

That is just some of the action you will see next week, January 6. Tune in to see just what happens & what other surprises there may be as 3CW presents the first episode of HOME INVASION.

At the risk of sounding like this has to be oh-so realistic, does this change to a weekly TV slot mean that you'll have less matches per show?  Just curious as to how you're doing it.
JustinPosted on 03/08/07 at 22:41:24

Its gonna be a "wait & see" kind of thing. Partly because I don't wanna give too much away & partly because I don't know just how parts of it will work yet.
