JustinPosted on 02/15/07 at 03:55:50

A video package opens the show. The video is set to the Trans Siberian Orchestra's version of "The Carol of The Bells" & highlights the events from last week that lead up to tonight's show. The announce team reminds the viewers that tonight will host a 4 man single elimination tournament to determine the #1 contender to the 3CW Heavyweight Title, held by Kurt Angle. No sooner did they finish hyping it up, then Christian Cage's music hits & "Captain Charisma" comes to the ring to kick it all off.

Christian Cage pinned Bryan Danielson with the Unprettier in 0:10:50.
Rating: ***

Footage is shown of the match history between Samoa Joe & Matt Bentley. After the video, Matt Bentley is backstage.
MB: You know, everyone's been counting me out as of late. Everyone forgets the impact I made when I came to this company. Well that all ends tonight. First, I take out the so-called "Samoan Submission Machine", and then, once I nail Christian with the Head on Collision, I'm back in the saddle again. I've pinned Angle before, I WILL do it again. And nothing is going to stop me.

Samoa Joe made Matt Bentley submit to the Kokina Clutch in 0:16:01.
Rating: **** 1/4

Edge & Christopher Daniels are with Melissa Martinez:
MM: Christopher Daniels, since your arrival here in 3CW you have helped wage war on Raven & The Forsaken. Do you feel that you are the man to help lead 3CW out from the cover of Raven's dark influence?
CD: Melissa, it is written among the gospel of the Fallen Angel, that there is only one true shining light in this world. And that light shines down on me: Christopher Daniels. I came here for the purpose of eliminating the cancerous influence of Raven. And week after week, that goal is getting closer to achieved.
E: And now that I have a guaranteed shot at Raven's gold next week, I'm going to do to him what he tried to do to me all those months ago. I'm going to take what he covets most: that championship strap. I don't care what kind of Hell I have to go through to get it. There is no way I will walk out of Holiday Hell without that title. Bank on it!

The Forsaken (D'Lo Brown and Raven) defeated Christopher Daniels and Edge when D'Lo pinned Edge with the Lo' Down in 0:13:32.
Rating: *** 1/4

After the match:
D'Lo & Daniels brawl to the outside of the ring & Raven taunts Edge with the 3CW Title belt. Raven lays the belt on the mat & places Edge's head on top of it. Raven then grabs a nearby chair, raises it above his head & hits Edge with his own signature move: the Con-Chair-To. Officials quickly flood the ring as a twisted smile crosses Raven's lips upon seeing Edge's blood begin to flow over the TV Title belt.

Footage is shown of the rivalry between Lance Cade & Ken Kennedy.

No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match:
Lance Cade pinned Ken Kennedy with the Top-Rope Legdrop in 0:12:23.
Rating: *** 1/4
[Veronica Caine interfered against Ken Kennedy.]

Footage is shown of the rivalry between former Team Canada members Petey Williams & Andrew Martin. Then of the brewing rivalry between the NYC & 3CW Tag Team Champions: AJ Styles & Rey Mysterio.

The NYC (Glenn Gilberti and Johnny Swinger) and Andrew Martin defeated Petey Williams, AJ Styles and Rey Mysterio when Gilberti pinned Mysterio with the Chartbuster in 0:20:32.
Rating: ****

Footage is shown of how Samoa Joe & Christian Cage advanced to the final round. After the footage & just before the bell to start the match is sounded, Kurt Angle's music plays as the 3CW Champion comes out to join the commentary team.

Number-One-Contenders-Match:
Samoa Joe made Christian Cage submit to the Kokina Clutch in 0:11:19.
Rating: **** 1/4

After the match:
Kurt Angle takes off his announcing headset & stands up from his closer than ringside seat at the table. As Joe stares him down, Angle raises his hands to chest level & begins to clap with a wry smile on his face.

The camera cuts away after the main event to the back for an old ECW-style "Pulp Fiction" ending, complete with Dick Dale's Misirlou playing in the background.
Christopher Daniels:  The gospel of the Fallen Angel states clearly that the seconds & moments tick away, who will step up & be the saving grace in 3CW. Will it be the Olympic Gold medalist: Kurt Angle? Will it be the high flying duo of Rey Mysterio & AJ Styles? "The Canadian Destroyer" Petey Williams? The former porn star, Val Venis? No. The answer is this: the man that holds that responsibility, who bears that burden, who carries that cross is me: Christopher Daniels.
Kurt Angle: Samoa Joe, one more time, just one more shot at the glory is all you get. This title is mine & I intend on doing whatever it takes to keep it. Every time we've gotten into the ring, I've put you down. You can't beat me, Joe. You know it. I know it. It's true and it's real. It's damn real.
Ken Kennedy: You want brutality? You want an even playing field? (Walks out the back door of the arena) Then step out back to the parking lot and take your lumps from the hottest star today: mmmmMMMMISTERRRRRRR.....
Bryan Danielson: Christian Cage, you want to lay out challenges. You wants to be a world champion. You think you deserves it just handed to you on a platter. And then you comes within inches of achieving your goal, just to fall short. Can you say "choke artist"?
Ken Kennedy: RRRRRRR KENNNNNEDYYYYY.....(his voice echoes in the empty lot)
Christian Cage: "Choke artist"? I beat you didn't I? And next week, I'll do it again. 'Cause that's how I roll.
Ken Kennedy: (gets his face close to the camera & whispers) Kennedy.
Samoa Joe: Kurt, you love to talk about your Olympic victory with a broken neck. Well let's see how far you get when I break it again.
Raven (sitting alone in a dark corner of the building, with the 3CW TV Title belt draped over his lap): Edge, next week you will finally get your wish. You will finally get to face me one on one for my 3CW Television Title. You want to talk about going through Hell, well Edge, careful what you wish for, because this won't just be any match. It will be a match that no normal man would ever want to participate in. A match that comes from the deepest, darkest parts of my soul & the most twisted corners of my mind. You will have your chance to face me inside my Clockwork Orange House Of Fun. There will be no limit to the brutality that we inflict on each other. But be warned Edge, for I am a human cancer for which there will never be a cure. I will eat away at you slowly and devour your soul. Then, when just the empty husk of your body is left, I will terminate you with extreme prejudice. So it is written. So it shall come to pass. Quote the Raven: "Nevermore".

Card rating: *** 3/4

Me as inspiration? I'm flattered. Of course I don't mind... you can even rip off some of my dialogs if you want... after all I stole some of them from the actual guys that said them... share & share alike I say.

wicked_rexPosted on 02/17/07 at 04:15:13

Yeah, just the style of writing; interviews and such.
