Melissa Martinez is with "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels.
MM: You debuted at November To Remember by joining up with Edge in his war with Raven. But the question that still remains unanswered is :"Why?"
CD: I've got the answer that everyone is looking for, Melissa. Raven is exactly what he says he is: a human cancer. He is a dark blight on this industry, and I am here to help Edge & The Hurricane wipe him out permanently.  I don't care how many of his flunkies I have to go through to do it. Raven's days in 3CW & the wrestling world are numbered.

Edge is backstage with Melissa Martinez.
E: Before you even get started Melissa, I'm gonna tell it to you like it is. Last week, I had that loud mouth Bobby Roode beat until that no talent, nobody D'Lo Brown had to but in, hoping to kiss up to Raven. Well all D'Lo did was accomplish 2 things. #1: he solidified my title shot against Raven in 2 weeks. And #2: he pissed me off. So tonight, I plan on showing "Mr. Bobblehead" what happens when you go from trying to be PG to screwing around with someone who is truly "Rated R".

Backstage, Matt Bentley is alone in the promo area.
MB: You know, I'm getting pretty sick & tired of week after week either being stuck in some meaningless undercard match or just plain being left off the show altogether. It's always "Samoa Joe this" or "Bryan Danielson that" or "Christian Cage the other". And let us not forget our illustrious 3CW Champion: Kurt Angle. It seems that these are the only guys that anyone is talking about when it comes to the title picture these days. It seems that everyone has all but forgotten a certain man. A man, that when he debuted last summer, he took all of 3CW by storm. A man that takes what he wants no matter the consequence. A true "Maverick", if you will. By now, even the most simple of all you simpletons must realize that the man I speak of is none other than myself: "Maverick" Matt Bentley. I will return to the main event scene no matter what it takes. And I will never be overlooked again.

Johnny Kashmere pinned Jay Lethal with the Cradlebreaker in 0:12:05.

Footage is shown from last week of Christian Cage interfering in the 3CW Title match between Kurt Angle & Samoa Joe. The announce team informs everyone watching that due to the attack, Samoa Joe isn't scheduled to appear, but, he did send a video interview this week to update his condition after Christian Cage's attack last week.
SJ: Last week, Christian Cage dared to interfere in my title match with Kurt Angle. Not only that, but he dared to put his hands on me & give me the Unprettier on the concrete. Not only did that cause me to get counted out, not only did the cause me to need stitches in my forehead, but it caused me to fall short in my goal to get my title back. Christian, you busted me open, you nearly gave me a concussion, but, you didn't kill me. And that is your biggest mistake, because now I'm coming for you, and you can count on the fact that I will not make the same mistake you did. You can count on the fact that, Joe is going to kill you.
Joe snarls at the camera as it fades to black.

Melissa Martinez is backstage with Christian Cage just prior to the main event.
MM: Christian, tonight may be one of your toughest matches to date. Your first title shot against 3CW Champion & former Olympic Gold Medalist: Kurt Angle.
CC: You know Melissa, if I have to hear one more person talk about Kurt Angle's past accomplishments, I may just puke. No one constantly refers to me as the 8 time former WWE Tag Team Champion. Or as the 3 time former WWE Intercontinental Champion. Or constantly as a former NWA World Champion. But make no mistake, I am all those things and more. I am Christian Cage. I am the most charismatic man in this business today. Kurt Angle is nothing compared to me. I don't care what titles he's held in the past, I don't care what bones he's broken. All I care about is getting that belt at all costs. I made sure that the world took notice of me once again last week, by attacking Samoa Joe & Angle. That way there would be no choice but to give me a title shot. So if you didn't know before... now you do. Because that's how I roll.

After the match:
Samoa Joe storms the ring, still wielding the chair he used on Christian, and attacks Kurt Angle while he still has Cage in the Ankle Lock. A mighty blow from the chair takes Angle out and he falls next to Christian. Just as Joe goes to pick up Christian,  Matt Bentley jumps the ring barrier & jumps Joe from behind. Thanks to Bentley's distraction, Christian is able to recover & join in on the beating.  Joe tries to fight them both off, but, the numbers become too great when Kurt Angle makes it 3 on 1. Joe keeps fighting alone, until, Bryan Danielson charges the ring & clears Angle & Christian away with a chair. Joe then knocks Bentley over the top rope with a clothesline. Joe & Danielson are left alone in the ring, but, instead of thanking his would be savior, Joe grabs Danielson & locks on the dreaded Kokina Clutch. The camera focuses in on Joe's face as we go off the air. A close up of Joe's eyes rolling back in his head as he tightens his grip is the final shot as the screen goes black.

3CW Newsline:

After the chaos the ended December To Dismember, the 3CW Board of Directors has decided that the best way to crown a new #1 contender to Kurt Angle's 3CW Heavyweight Title is to hold a one night, four man tournament. The 4 men involved will be (in no order): Christian Cage, Matt Bentley, Bryan Danielson, & former 3CW Champion: Samoa Joe.

The winner of the tournament will go on to face Kurt for the title in the main event of the very last show of the calender year.
