UWA NEW YEAR'S EVIL
Sunday, December 31st

NEW YEAR'S EVIL

Extreme Grudge Match
Chavo Guerrero vs. The Sandman:
Chavo Guerrero was trying to apply for the Elimination
Chamber, but The Sandman whacked him with the
cane.  At New Year's Evil, Chavo will have a chance to get revenge on The Sandman in an extreme match.

Grudge Match
William Regal vs. Finlay
These European veterans lock up after feuding recently.  While Finlay's "Apprentice" John Cena continues to do well, Finlay and Regal have not had much success.  A win here would give a much needed boost to one of them.

#1 Contender Triangle Tag Team Elimination Match
The Hardy Boyz vs. Abyss/Raven vs. The Hard Asses:
Paul Heyman touts Abyss and Raven as the true kings of the tag team scene, but former champions will put up quite a fight to get a shot at the belts again.

Grudge Match
John Cena vs. Rob Van Dam:
John Cena is undefeated in singles competition.  Can RVD put Cena in his place?

Extreme #1 Contender Match
Mark Henry vs. Snitsky:
Mark Henry's temper has gotten him into trouble, but at New Year's Evil it may get him a shot at the UWA Extreme Title.  Snitsky can make a name for himself with a victory in this match.

PPV Title Match:
Jordan vs. Undertaker*:
The Undertaker has been red hot lately but Orlando Jordan is confident that he has The Undertaker's number again.  Can the self-proclaimed "greatest UWA athlete" outperform the PPV champ?

World Tag Team Title Match
Jericho/Benoit vs. Benjamin/Booker*:
The tag champs have lost before to Jericho and Benoit.  Will their fate be the same in this encounter?

Opportunity Match:
Triple H vs. Rey Mysterio:
A win for Rey Mysterio and he gets a World Title shot against Triple H in the near future.  Triple H is no stranger to important matches and will attempt to win by any means necessary.

Extreme Title Ladder Match:
Kurt Angle vs. Edge*:
These two have taken the title from each other once.  Can the Extreme Olympic Machine take back the title?  Will Edge put Angle's hopes for gold down for good?  A Ladder Match will determine the answers.

#1 Contender Elimination Chamber Match
JBL vs. Jarrett vs. Flair vs. Batista vs. Orton vs. ?
Neither Hulk Hogan nor Shane McMahon have confirmed a 6th competitor in the match, but rest assured anything is possible.

Your thoughts and predictions?  Questions, comments, suggestions?  Greatly appreciated.

NEW YEAR'S EVIL

Extreme Grudge Match
Chavo Guerrero vs. The Sandman: Hopefully a win and get Sandman a little momentum to move up higher in the card.

Grudge Match
William Regal vs. Finlay: Regal is a grumpy bastard. It looks like Regal and Cena will feud in the long run. Finlay seems to be moving to a manager role. I could, of course, be way off.

#1 Contender Triangle Tag Team Elimination Match
The Hardy Boyz vs. Abyss/Raven vs. The Hard Asses: The tag division confuses me a bit. I thought Abyss & Raven already were the #1 contenders. I must have missed something.

Grudge Match
John Cena vs. Rob Van Dam: I have a feeling you're building up Cena for bigger and better things, so I don't think his undefeated streak will end yet.

Extreme #1 Contender Match
Mark Henry vs. Snitsky: Mark Henry proved himself to be a tough SOB, so I think he'll win this one.

PPV Title Match:
Jordan vs. Undertaker*: Deep down, I'm such a Taker mark it's not funny. Deadman for the win!

World Tag Team Title Match
Jericho/Benoit vs. Benjamin/Booker*: Time for a change. Benjamin and Booker don't do much for me as champs.

Opportunity Match:
Triple H vs. Rey Mysterio: I like the idea of Rey being the underdog that can only consistently win the huge matches.

Extreme Title Ladder Match:
Kurt Angle vs. Edge*: I think Kurt's had the upper hand in the feud, so I'll give Edge the uh... edge.

#1 Contender Elimination Chamber Match
JBL vs. Jarrett vs. Flair vs. Batista vs. Orton vs. ?

I'm thinking the 6th man will be the returning Big Show, or else maybe you've got a brand new competitor to debut. Either way, it's a tough match to predict, so I'll pick who I would book to win.

When you post a dozen cards all in a row, it takes a while to read 'em all and get up to date... but overall good stuff.
