Interview:
Carlzilla gathers up KENTA, Jigsaw, Austin Aries, and Arik Cannon and tells the fans
that these four men will battle for the PWRiot World Title at our next event. Austin
Aries gets in all four of his future opponents faces, and KENTA isn't having it. The
two are pulled apart before anything more than some shoving occurs.

Card rating: *** 3/4

Match observations:

In what will undoubtably go down as one of the most stacked cards in the history of
our great sport, four men, who each fought twice tonight, gained the privilage to
take part in a four way elimination match to determine the PWRiot World Champion.

Opening round action saw Arik Cannon get the better of Colt Cabana in a decent match.
Cabana didn't look too happy about getting one upped.

Austin Aries, who almost didn't get to compete in this tournament thanks to his very
disrespectful actions at the No Frills, All Thrills tournament, took on Taiji Ishimori
in our next bout. Much to Ishimori's dismay, he couldn't get the job done against the
superior Aries, who took the match with a 450 Splash.

Jigsaw saw action against Ruckus next, and managed to pick up a win in a very good
match. Ruckus just couldn't kick out after a Jig'n Tonic, and Jigsaw goes one up in
his block.

Final match of the opening series, KENTA vs. Roderick Strong. KENTA had Low-Ki in his
corner and Strong of course brought along Aries. The presence of the corner men was
enough to keep interference out of the match, as Aries didn't want to get involved
and risk having to fend off Low-Ki, and Low-Ki is an honorable fighter. These two put
on what is easily a match of the year candidate, and the first 5 star rated match in
PWRiot's or AWE's young history. KENTA blasts strong with the GO 2 Sleep at the end
to pick up the win.

Carlzilla's back out to announce Jack Evans challenger, who turns out to be Delirious.
Delirious came out with the now infamous swimming noodle and once again went to town
on everyone in his normal playful and utterly strange way. Evans made his way out to
a pretty good ovation and did his breakdancing which Delirious tried to copy, and
just like their last match, it didn't bode well for Delirious who just got all tied up
in his tassles. Finally, the match is underway, and Delirious take control early. It
looked as though Delirous was going to put Evans away in his first defense with the
Shadows Over Hell backsplash but Evans busted out a handstand mulekick to the mid-air
Delirious. That was pretty much the turning point, and Evans set him up for the 630
and picked up his first defense of the No Frills title.

Arik Cannon and Hallowicked started off the second series of matches in the round
robin tournament. It was back and forth for the opening, and didn't get much farther
as Colt Cabana had stewed over getting beaten in the first round long enough. He came
to the ring and blasted Cannon with a chair right in front of senior official JC Moss
and caused Cannon to pick up a DQ victory. Hallowicked could not be happy.

Next Alex Shelley and Taiji Ishimori faced off. Shelley tried his best to keep this
match on the ground, but Ishimori was just too quick for him. Ishimori ends it with
a superstar elbow, which is quickly becoming one of the fans favorite finishing moves.

Ruckus had Mike Quackenbush in the next match. Both men gave it their all but Ruckus
just proved to be the better man tonight as he pinned Quack after the Leap Of Faith.

Low-Ki vs. Roderick Strong was next. KENTA and Aries where in the corners of their
partners, and this match was STIFF! Both guys took a real beating and when the dust
cleared Strong was victorious. Eddie Kingston tried to interject himself against
Roderick Strong who put him out of action with a neck injury, but to many of the fans
surprise, KENTA intercepted him and sent him to the back before he could attack Strong
costing Low-Ki the match, and before Aries could attack his injured neck and keep him
out of action for even longer.

Reyes and Romero once again decide to ignore the 3 point rule and make another open
challenge, and it was met with more success than last time as two teams came out to
get a shot. Arrogance wanted another shot, and Team FIST decided that they where
going to give it a go. Reyes and Romero told Arrogance to get lost, and as Bosh and
Lost threw a tantrum, Akuma and Icarus charged the ring. Of course this may not have
been the smartest move for FIST as they got destroyed...badly. Reyes put away Akuma
with the Dragon Sleeper to retain the titles.

We're onto the 3rd and final series of match in the round robin, and the opener was
full of negativity as Colt Cabana and Hallowicked faced off. Hallowicked was pissed
that Cabana attacked Cannon in the last series, as it cost Hallowicked a win. Cabana
made it quite obvious that he didn't care as he shrugged his shoulders at Hallowicked's
rant. This angered the masked man, and Hallowicked knocked the taste out of Cabana's
mouth with a hard closed fist punch as the bell rang. The match was the best of the
night that didn't involve anyone who's name is KENTA. Back and forth action with a
ton of near falls. Cabana finally put Hallowicked away when he countered a step up
hurricanrana with a "tiger driver"...someone needs to seriously educate our announcer.

Austin Aries and Alex Shelley was a pretty anticipated match, both wrestlers came in
to the match expecting a tough one, and it lived upto the hype...that is until Jack
Evans, who was not happy about the events that took place at our last event decided
he was going to put Aries out. He came down to the ringside and took out Roderick
Strong with a low blow from behind. He then grabbed a chair and as soon as the ref was
pre-occupied with Roderick Strong who was now complaining to the ref about Jack Evans
he tossed the chair to Alex Shelley. This however didn't go as well at it could have
as Aries intercepts the chair and knocks Shelley into next week. Strong sees this
and lets the ref get back to the action, of course there is no action, just a pin fall
allowing Aries to take the match.

Jigsaw took on his trainer Mike Quackenbush in our next match-up. Quack and Jigsaw
put their hearts into the match and the fans really got into it. When all was said
and done the student had bested the trainer and Quack and Jigsaw shook hands and
celebrated Jigsaw's advancement to the 4 way title match.

In our main event, KENTA took on his Kenka Chikara partner, Low-Ki. Both men shook
hands before the match and then ripped into each other in a brutal way. Both men where
pretty battered by the end of this one, with both of their chest absorbing many kicks
and chops. In the end, KENTA hit his striking combination, then the Busiaku Knee Kick,
then the GO 2 Sleep and picked up a win over his tag team partner. Both men shook hands
and hugged after the match, so even though they went all out, there's no hard feelings.

Well that's it for this event, KENTA, Jigsaw, Aries, and Cannon are going to fight it
out over the PWRiot World Title at our next show. It should be a great one, and we
hope to see you there.

KENTA is a beast. And Delirious' noodle needs to be banned.
CarlzillaPosted on 12/04/06 at 08:33:58

What do you have against the noodle?
wizardneedsfoodPosted on 12/04/06 at 09:35:30

I have nothing against it. It is sheer awesomeness to the point that his opponents don't stand a chance.
