Familiar music starts to play as the countdown ends. The crowd suddenly comes to their feet as none other than "Y2J" Chris Jericho steps out of the entrance way, dressed in a suit. He soaks in the applause for a few minutes with a huge smile on his face before making his way to the ring and grabbing a mic.

CJ: When I walked away from WWE, I was walking away from wrestling. I was tired and burnt out and didn't want to deal with it anymore. But since then I've begun to notice a lot of things about wrestling in America today. First off, it apparently doesn't exist. It seems from the time I broke into the business until now, wrestling has died off, to be replaced by some assclown concept called "sports entertainment".

The crowd pops huge for that.

CJ: However, in recent months I've began to get that itch again. Not to wrestle myself, but to see actual wrestling. So I went around to some people I used to know, people who will remain nameless. Gathered up some funding and used some of my own money and hired some wrestlers I see as great talents. And today is the revelation of my dream. I stand here today as both commissioner and majority owner for LIONHEART Pro...and we are wrestling.

Another huge pop.

CJ: But that's enough talking for now, let's start this off right, in the ring.

A good solid Women's match to start off LIONHEART Pro's debut show. Both teams worked well together and the match was pretty back and forth the whole time. In the end though, Team Blondage's team work was crisper thanks to their experience together and that enabled their team to pull ahead.

After the match the cameras cut backstage to Chris Jericho again.

CJ: What a fine start for LIONHEART Pro. However, before the next match, I feel the need to explain some things about how we will determine the first ever Young Lion Grand Prix Championship. Sixteen atheletes have been selected from our roster and divided into four round robin brackets. Over the next several shows, these men will face each other in matches to score points in the tournament. After each bracket has a clear winner, the four victors will face each other in a four man elimination match to determine the first ever champion. Once a champion is crowned, only athletes in the top three rankings will be able to compete for the title. In addition, the title is only required to be defended once every four events. A champion can choose to defend it more, but is not required too. However, let's not get ahead of ourselves. We must first announce the brackets for the tournament.

CJ: Bracket A consists of Austin Aries, Ace Steel, Matt Sydal, and Homicide. Bracket B consists of Jimmy Rave, Spanky, AJ Styles, and Giant Bernard. Bracket C is out primarily Japanese bracket, made up of KENTA, Marufuji, CIMA, and Colt Cabana. Finally, Bracket D involves Nigel McGuinnes, Steve Corino, Abyss, and Samoa Joe. Enjoy tonight's first round matches.

The cameras see about to cut away when a large group of people move into the picture. The group consists of Ace Steel, KENTA, Giant Bernard, Gail Kim, and Jimmy Rave with none other than Prince Nana at their head. Nana bows slightly towards Jericho.

Decent match that never seemed to click with the fans. The larger Embassy member seemed pretty outclassed for most of the match as Matt Sydal used his quickness and mat wrestling to control pretty much the whole match. With the smaller man's dominance, the ending for this one was fairly anti-climactic.

The crowd was really into Colt Cabana in this match. They were on their feet whenever he was on offense but their support was not enough to get him past Embassy member KENTA in this Bracket C match. KENTA won with his Busaiku Knee Kick and scored a point in the tournament.

Spanky tried here but his speed just wasn't nearly enough to keep up with Giant Bernard's power. The Embassy scores yet another early point on the road to the YLGP Championship.

Before the next match can start, Steve Corino's music hits and he comes down to the ring in a long yellow robe, accompinied by none other than the very lovely Tracy Brooks. Once in the ring, he calls for the mic.

SC: Maybe I was hearing things, but it seems like earlier tongiht, Prince Nana was talking about how Jimmy Rave was going to become the first ever YLGP Champion. I'm not sure Nana and the Embassy took into account the fact that I'm the King of Old School. Once I beat Samoa Joe tonight and go on to win my bracket, the title is coming home around my perfect...

Before he can finish, Joe's music hits and the Samoan sprints to the ring as the crowd chants "Joes Gonna Kill You" and the bell rings...

Joe looked dominant throughout this match but the wily veteran Corino managed to sneak in a few big moves at the end to win this one. Joe was proven to be only stunned, not knocked out however, as while Corino and Tracy Brooks celebrated, Joe got back to his feet. The crowd cheered, causing Corino to back around, right into a huge Joe enziguri. Corino hit the mat and he and Brooks both quickly bailed as Joe was left standing in the ring as intermission began.

Both men lay in the middle of the ring after this match as the crowd applauded. Two of the biggest stars in Japan had an all out war here, but it was Marafuji who got the win. Highlights in this match included Marafuji hitting a Shiranui on the concrete floor and CIMA almost getting the win with the Perfect Driver before Marufuji kicked out at 2 and 3/4s. After the match both men began to get back to their feet when suddenly Embassy members KENTA and Ace Steel hit the ring. The two began assaulting Marufuji, apparently because he and KENTA are now tied with one point apiece in Bracket C. CIMA stared at the beatdown before shrugging and joining in the attack. Marufuji struggled back but to no avail, until suddenly Colt Cabana hit the ring with a chair to clear it. As the Embassy members and CIMA left the ring, Cabana and Steel had a few words.

First off, big props to the Havana Pitbulls in this tag team four corners match as for the first twelve minutes of the match either Reyes or Romero was legally in the match. However, this early run might have hurt them in the long run as both they and the Briscoes were out of position at the end of the match to keep Lacey's Angels from defeating Irish Airborne. With all four of these teams working well against each other, LIONHEART Pro has a great start to a tag division and future tag team matches should be fantastic.

As the eight men are clearing the ringside area, cameras cut backstage to where Colt Cabana is standing with Marufuji.

CC: You know, I thought Ace Steel was a man I knew. I thought we were friends and partners. Instead, the first time someone throws some money in his face, he turns of everything he believed in.

Colt's expression grows more serious as Marufuji pats him on the back.

CC: Normally I'm a fun loving guy, but what kills my fun is watching a great athlete like Marufuji here get beat down but multiple opponents. So Marufuji and I talked.

He looks over his shoulder Marufuji who just kind of shrugs.

Excellent match here between one of the greatest American wrestlers today and the leader of the Embassy. Both men seemed evenly matched throughought the match, taking each other to their complete limit. However, Rave had the advantage of having both Prince Nana and Gail Kim at ringside. In the end this proved the deciding factor and Jimmy Rave eeked out a win with just 35 seconds left in the match.

Nana and Gail Kim hopped in the ring and Nana called for the mic.

PN: You people here should be blessed. You just saw the Crown Jewel of the Embassy, Jimmy Rave score a victory that puts him one step closer to becoming the first ever Lionheart Grand Prix Champion. Earlier tongiht though, that ingrate Colt Cabana dared call out two Embassy members. Well Colt, I've spoken with KENTA and Mr. Steel backstage, and they accept your petty challenge.

Another great match. This was originally scheduled to be a tournament match but Homicide never showed up at the venue. This situation should be addressed at the next event. However, it should take nothing away from the great match these two men put on. Aries managed to overcome interference from Allison Danger to score a second late match 450 and come out the victor.

Nigel McGuinness' music hits and he comes out to a very good reaction. He rolls in the ring and basks in the cheers for a moment before calling for the mic.

NM: First off, I want to think Mr. Jericho for all he's done for the wrestling business, but mostly for opening this fine organization. And thank you for putting me in your first ever main event. All in all a great debut for LIONHEART Pro. Management was said to be very happy with everyone's performances with the exception of the Homicide no show. Austin Aries, Christopher Daniels, AJ Styles, CIMA, Marufuji, and Jimmy Rave all really impressed Jericho and the rest of LHP management. Time will tell if this is enough to give them big futures in the company however. The next show, "Saints at War" has been scheduled for January 20th and the following matches have been signed:

5 star for AJ and Rave. I hate AJ Styles...overrated. Jimmy Rave is awesome. I wouldn't have expected that kind of quality out of them though.

Aries over Daniels is good for me...I like Daniels, but he's not really championship material in my eyes.

Nigel McGuinness over Abyss...I really like Nigel, and I'm pretty eh...about Abyss, so again like a good majority of the matches this worked out my way.

See, I like Melissa. But you have to figure, their opponents do have more team experience. And Tracy has the biggest T&A in that match.

Expect great things out of young Sydal. That time in DragonGate turned him from a spot monkey into something special.

Rave is one of the best heels in the business, and can drive up a match rating out of sheer heat. Plus I guess Styles was motivated and decided to sell a little. It happens sometimes.
