of Bosh and Lost who are trying their best to alienate the fans...and failing

open invitation to an ass beating still stands...and we have ourselves a match.

Match observations:

Night two of the No Frills, All Thrills tournament was just as jam-packed with action
as the first. Our first title defense, the crowning of the first PW-Riot No Frills
champion. Which according to Carlzilla, will be defended at every event with a random
draw determining the challenger.

Tonight the show was opened by Reyes and Romero, who apparently have little respect
for the established rules of PW-Riot. The fans aren't a big fan of their attitudes
and apparently neither are any of the wrestlers as their open challenge goes totally
unaswered.

Jack Evans took on Roderick Strong and Jigsaw in the first match of the second round.
Strong pretty much dominated before the first fall, and Evans was able to snipe a
beaten down Jigsaw with the Corkscrew 630. Strong took offense to this and went to
work on Evans post haste. Evans got lucky when Strong missed a tope, pretty much
eliminating himself from tournament, but just to be sure, Evans nailed another 630
and took the match.

El Generico, Icarus, and Taiji Ishimori where up next. Ishimori looked impressive for
a little bit but then got dominated by the other two fearing he would beat them. With
Ishimori gone, Generico and Icarus settled into a pretty decent match, with Generico
pulling off the win after the Brainbustah!.

Austin Aries vs. Low-Ki vs. Mike Quackenbush. No one really thought that Quackenbush
was going to win this one, and they where right as he was the first person to be
eliminated...of course that wasn't until the 30 minute mark of a match with a 45 min.
time limit! After Quack was gone, Roderick Strong decided it was time to get involved.
He stabbed the back of Low-Ki's knee with a chair as he rebounded off the ropes. This
left Low-Ki in an awful position and allowed Aries to hit the 450 splash and move one
step closer to capturing the PW-Riot No Frills Title.

With Low-Ki gone, most fans felt pretty certain that KENTA was going to win the whole
tournament. He had to get though Delirious and Alex Shelley first though. Delirious
started the match by attacking everyone...and I mean everyone...fans, the ref, his
opponents, the announcers with the same swimming noodle wrapped in a towel with barbed
wire painted on it that got involved in last nights match with Necro Butcher. After
this ridiculousness was finally brought under control, KENTA started to dominate.
The fans where solidly behind him and Delirious, which drove Alex Shelley crazy.
Shelley was the first to fall as KENTA blasted him with a Go 2 Sleep and that was
all she wrote for "baby bear" Alex Shelley. Delirious was no match for KENTA during
strike exchanges...and that was made painfully clear several times. However once again
the strange tactics of Delirious scored him a win. KENTA took a record 100 clotheslines
in the corner from the bizzare one, and as soon as KENTA hit the mat Delirious slapped
on an STF for the tap out win.

That concludes the second round of the tournament, and already both men who where
heavy favorites are gone. The intermission was interupted by Arrogance, who where
trying painfully hard to get the fans to hate them, but just couldn't seem to get
the job done. After they accepted the fact that they had the crowd support, they
seemed to get even more cocky and ridiculous. Scott Lost grabbed a mic and made some
rude remarks about Ricky Reyes' mother, and sister...and then finally about their
family pet. This got the Pitbulls down to the ring, and it apparently put them in a
real foul mood. They said the invitation was still open and a match broke out during
intermission. How many other feds give you title matches during your bathroom break?
That's right...just one...us!

It seemed like the Havana Pitbulls took Bosh and Lost a little to lightly and they
paid for it at the start of the match. Getting countered left and right and loosing
a lot of steam. After they took control though, they never lost it. They spent about
12 minutes beating the crap out of Bosh and Lost...if it wasn't for the first 6 min.
of the match being all Arrogance, this would have been a total elongated squash.
Reyes and Romero retain the titles and redeem themselves after being shut down in
the first round last night.

Carlzilla decided to extend the "intermission" by 10 minutes thanks to the impromptu
match. After that, Jack Evans and Delirious started off the semi-finals. Delirious
tried his best to wierd out Evans, but it just wasn't working. Evans even challenged
Delirious to a break dancing contest mid match. Delirious maybe a lot of things,
but a B-Boy he is not. Evans took control after a horribly botched Headspin attempt
from Delirious. It was textbook from there as Evans worked to set him up for the 630
and when he did, it was over. Evans moves onto the finals.

Austin Aries took it to El Generico in the next match. Of course he didn't do this
without the help of Roderick Strong, who pretty much turned this match into a one
sided lumbjack affair. Gernico just couldn't out wrestle Aries, and with Strong in
the mix as well, there was nothing Generico could do to get this match going his way.
Aries wins with a 450 splash.

The finals where upon us, the big 1 hour long iron man title match. Carlzilla banned
Roderick Strong from interfering in the outcome of the match saying he would fire
both Strong and Aries if he interfered. Of course both Strong and Aries made a big
scene, but Strong finally left and the match was started. Everyone expected Aries
to destroy Evans, and after Aries scored the first fall after a 450 splash it was
sure looking like that was going to be the case. Evans battled back though, and was
able to upset Aries two falls in a row with two suprise pins. This put the score at
2-1 in favor of Evans. Aries got fired up and tore Evans apart. He scored another fall
at almost the 59 minute mark and then started to celebrate, apparently forgetting that
not only is this an iron man match, but that he had only evened the score. While the
ref explained to him that he had not won the match, Evans nailed him with a spring
board dropkick to the back of the head and hit the 630 to score another fall with only
12 seconds left in the match. Needless to say Evans took the match 3 falls to 2.

However, Roderick Strong blindsided Carlzilla as he was heading to the ring with the
belt to present it to Jack Evans, who was also assaulted from behind by Austin Aries.
Aries then grabbed the belt and spit on it, totally disrespecting it. He acted like
he was going to steal it, but then tossed it behind him as he left the building with
Roderick Strong.

Wow.. your show lasted 4 hours... 4 hours of jam-packed action that is!

Did the Iron Man match actually go down like that? If it did, awesome. My Aries bet almost made it the entire way, and even though Evans seems like an unusual choice for a singles champion, this plays nicely into a possible feud of the past, with Generation Next and all.

I dig your fed already Carl, please let it continue.
CarlzillaPosted on 11/29/06 at 13:24:53

It actually went down like that, except that I added the part about Aries celebrating and stuff...TNM is great and all, but it's not quite that in depth.

This is my secondary singles title...so Evans makes a decent choice. I haven't even announced my world title deal yet. Soon though.

Man, I'm depressed. KENTA and Delirious both lost. What kind of fed is this?
CarlzillaPosted on 12/01/06 at 02:52:51

Don't worry...it'll all work out.
