Dud of the night: Great Khali vs. Jay Lethal * 1/4

Atlanta Georgia and Phillips Arena was the site for WCWF Backlash and the sold out crowd was ready for the action. Before things got started Randy Orton was seen talking to Scott Steiner about his title match tonight. He told Steiner he could guarantee that he wouldn't have to worry about Michaels. The show started Johnny Devine pinning Kenny King with the Devine Intervention. After the match we see Shawn Michaels being told by a road manager that he was assigned the wrong dressing room at the same time Scott Steiner is complaining about his dressing room. The road manager gives him the room Michaels was in previously.

AJ Styles had no problem taking out Chris Harris. Orton grabbed the mic and demanded Ventura show himself and let him know who he would be fighting. The Boss came down to the pop of the crown and told Orton that 1st he will bring down the referee for the match. Ventura said that since Orton though he was hardcore and could not be stopped why not a legend of hardcore ref this match. Tommy Dreamer came down with his cane and blue ref shirt. Ventura said now to the fun part, and announced that Orton's opponent would be former WCWF World champion Rhino. Orton survived the death match by pinning Rhino with the Flying cross body press and pinning him for 13 seconds.

Backstage we see Steiner enter his dressing room and then two other guys come to the door. The check some paperwork then start welding the dressing room door shut.

Christopher Daniels did what few had and got the pin on Monty Brown. The Great Khali was victorious over Jay Lethal.

Backstage Steiner found out his door would not open and started banging on the door. Looks like Steiner will be busy the next few hours.

Hiroshi Tanahashi and Rene Dupree won the 4 corners match for the WCWF World Tag Team titles when Dupree defeated Dean with the Bonne Nuit. Samoa Joe made King Booker submit to a guillotine choke and Rey Misterio pinned Shane Douglas with the West Coast Pop. Charlie Haas got the best of the Boogeyman. With Steiner hold up in his Locker room Randy Orton came down to attack Michaels. Michaels regrouped and was able to hit the Sweet Chin Music to hold onto the title.

Next on Fury:
Someone has to rail in Orton as he has crossed the line once again, what will Ventura say about what went down. Who is the #1 Contender for the World title and what will Steiner do once he gets out that locker room? Find out next week on Fury!
