Friday Night Fury rolled into Seattle fresh off a wild night last week in Portland. Lethal Injection picks up their first win by defeating the Spirit Squad. Last week "The Alpha Male" Monty Brown attacked WCWF World heavyweight champ Rhino before his match against the Great Khali. Brown wasn't finished as he again tried to interfere in the match, luckily Samoa Joe came down to even the odds allowing Rhino to hold on to the title. This week Rhino gave Joe a title shot saying he deserved it. The match would end with a double count out but the action just started as Brown once again made his presence known by attacking Joe and Rhino after the match.

Next week:

Sting and Steiner will mix things up. Hiroshi Tanahashi will make his WCWF debut. Randy Orton and King Booker will tag up to face Styles and Daniels. And Monty Brown will face Samoa Joe.

Dud of the night - Hardy Boys vs. Val Venis and Viscera

Salt Lake City was host to WCWF fist PPV of the season First Blood. The air was electrified as tonight the WCWF World Tag Team titles and World Heavyweight championship were on the line tonight. In our first match Matt Hardy returned to WCWF action after being away for almost a month and brought his Brother Jeff along with him The Hardy Boys first test in WCWF were new comers Val Venis and Viscera. Not the greatest of matches but the Hardy boys came away with the win. Scott Steiner made Rey Misterio submit to the Steiner Recliner to once again put to rest any question of Steiner's focus in the ring. Christopher Daniels and Shane Douglas battled for 13 minutes but it was Daniels who came away with thee big win. Jay Lethal stepped up to give Hiroshi Tanahashi his first loss in WCWF; Randy Orton was a no show. King Booker got the best of Sting with the Scissor Kick. WCWF Tag Team Gold was next up but it was announced just before the match that Chris Harris was a no Show and Scott Steiner was filling in. This didn't seem to faze the Spirit Squad as they defeated Steiner and Storm 2-0 in the best of 3. The Spirit Squad demanded the titles but Storm and Gail King walked away with the titles saying it was not a title match. GM Ventura told the Squad to wait till next Friday when he will have an announcement. The main Event was now upon us as we got ready for what was looking to be a great battle of 6 of the top talent in WCWF. When the dust settled and the final bell rang, the Great Khali walked away WCWF champion by defeating Samoa Joe. Khali came close twice but tonight was his night. Join us Friday as Fury heads to Denver and the Pepsi Center. What will Ventura say about the Tag Team Titles? What will the Great Khali do now that he has won the gold? Find out next week at Friday Night Fury!
