A video is shown of the final installment of Jake Roberts' tutoring of Edge.
The camera fades in on Jake leading Edge & Lita down a darkened hall.
JR: Now, now we've gotten to a place that holds it all, brother. Inside this dark room, my man, is a Box. And inside that box is Lucifer himself. And do you know what Lucifer has for you? The final piece to the puzzle.(Edge steps up to the door) You've trusted me to this point. You reached out & you've given me your hand. You've believed in me, opened your soul & let me have it. But, you need to step inide this room because in that room is a box where Lucifer sits waiting for you. Stand tall, look him in the eye & let him give you the answer.
E: I trusted you before & you did me no wrong. I have no more fear, so let me in.
JR: Stand back, brother. (Jake undoes the locks & Edge & Lita step back as the door creaks open) Sounds real nice, doesn't it? Now go on Edge. It's dark, but, you're no afraid of the darkness anymore. Learn to live. Learn to slide in, my man. Go for it. You'll find the answer inside the room. I know it's dark, but, you'll find it. (Jake shuts the door)
E: What's that sound? Jake, what's going on?
JR: Maybe, uh, I should shed dome light on the subject for you there big guy (Jake turns on the light & the floor is covered with all different breeds of snake, slithering around Edge's feet.) What do you think about that Edge? (Edge timidly steps around the snakes) Just a few.friends of mine. Oh come on, they're just snakes. Just alittle skin prick. Nothing that'll hurt ya. Now come on Edge, move closer to the box & you'll out exactly what you're made of.
E: You never said anything about this Jake.
JR: Oh come on now, it's all a part of what you've already been through. You were covered in the blood of others. Covered in blood of your own. And I brought you through it. Trust me. Trust me, go to that box. Slide your feet along so you don't step on the snakes. (Edge moves closer to the mirror) Move them out of your way. Easy though, you don't want to hurt them. (Edge gets to the box & starts to lift the lid) You gotta get real close to see the answer. It's inside, I promise. I swear to you Edge with all I believe, it's there.
Edge gets the lid off & a large snake strikes out just missing Edge's face. Edge scrambles back for the door shouting out in fear.
JR: Oh, it's not what you expected is it? Oh, it's not hat the doctor ordered. No! (Edge starts pounding at the small window in the door) Is your heart beating faster? Is your blood pumping, Edge? Relax. I told you; it's all part of it. (Edge bashes the door with his shoulder) No, no big man. It's not over yet. You can fight all you want, Edge. Fight until there's nothing left to give me. Let it bite you so you can drop like the common man you are & let the poison run through your veins. Say "Goodbye" to this cruel world. "Goodbye". Goodbye, Edge. (Jake turns away from the door laughing.) Oh yeah. That's what happens to all men eventually. (Jake turns to someone just off camera & smiles) Ah, the man in black himself. Why don't you come & see how the devil's work is truly done.
Just then Edge makes one last push & breaks open the door. Both Edge & the door fall to the floor & Edge immediately starts to crawl away calling for Lita. Jake stands & laughs.
JR: Still he fights to survive. Come on Edge, you are truly a warrior to the end.
Edge crawls across the floor & the camera follows from his perspective as he reaches out for Lita. The camera shows ger feet & then widens in shot to show someone else standing next to her. The camera pans up just as Edge's hand touches their boots, revealing Lita standing at the side of RAVEN with her arms around him. Edge & the camera look back at Jake, who is smiling.
JR: That's right. Reach out for me. I'm a snake. Never trust a snake!
Jake laughs as Raven picks Edge up & delivers the Raven Effect right there on the concrete floor of the hall as Lita looks on with a smile. Edge rolls over after the move & the camera gets a close up of his face, which is once again beginning to turn red with is own blood. The video fades out as we hear Jake laugh & the camera focuses on the intense glare of Raven, standing with his arms held out in his trademark pose.

LS: If I could be serious for a moment, I'd like to let the world know that it was Bobby Roode that cost us the match last week. He cost us the match by not keeping his partner, me, from getting pinned. So he has to pay the price. As for Steven Richards, well, he just doesn't learn. Richards needsto figure out that between me & Bobby Roode, he's out of his league. To put it even simpler, there are some people in the industry that refer to themselves as "the whole f'n show". I may not be the whole show, but, I'm the best damn part.

Melissa Martinez catches up with Samoa Joe backstage.
MM: Joe, 2 weeks ago it looked as if you were mere moments from losing the 3CW Title to Kurt Angle. Did you do anything different to prepare for your title defense tonight?
SJ: First of all, thanks to Matt Bentley, we're never gonna know what might have happened 2 weeks ago. We only know that due to him sticking his nose where it didn't belong that I still have this belt. I look atthe match from 2 weeks ago as practice. I know just what he brings to the table. I know just what to expect from him & what moves he's got in his arsenal. The only problem is, that Kurt Angle, even after the great match we had 2 weeks ago, has no idea what to expect from me. I can & will come at him from every direction. Hitting harder, faster, and more devestating each time. And if by some stroke of God given luck, he manages to not only survive this match, but, take to my title as well, I will do something that I have never done before. I will stand in the center of that ring, shake Kurt Angle's hand, and admit that tonight he is the better man.

3CW Newsline:

CM Punk cleanly & clearly defeated The Hurricane to retain the 3CW TV Title. Punk even went on to accept a gesture of respect from the self-professed superhero.  The Hurricane had many near falls in their match tonight, but, Punk proved to be just too much to handle. The real question has to be: can anyone end Punk's reign as champion?

Matt Bentley's win over Rey Mysterio tonight should keep him in the title hunt alittle longer. But you have to wonder what the loss will do to Mysterio?

It looks like Edge's hopes of having Jake Roberts mentor him have gone up in smoke. "The Snake" has turned his back on his would be protege, not only that but Edge's own girlfriend: Lita has left his side as well. Both turned against Edge & allied themselves with Raven. Jake Roberts has always been intelligent & always has been known to have something up his sleeve. You have to wonder if it was his plan all along to forsake Edge for Raven? And what havoc will Raven wreak upon 3CW? And was the bloody image of Edge on the concrete floor the last we will see of the "Rated R Superstar"?

Bobby Roode, with alittle help from Scott D'Amore's hockey stick, picked up a big win over Steven Richards & Lance Storm. Storm, still upset from last week's loss, has issueda different kind of challenge for next week. Storm has challenged Roode to find 2 other partners other than the rest of Team Canada to face him & 2 partners of his choice next week.

Lance Cade picked up for the injured Ken Kennedy tonight against Brent Albright. And the newest member of Veronica Caine's Enterprise took the fight straight to the "Shooter". While it was the shortest match of the night, it was packed with wild action all the way up to the end when Mr. Kennedy himself came to the ring and told the nearly unconcious Albright that next week their rivalry comes to an end.

All that was left after that, was the main event. A rematch from 2 weeks ago between Kurt Angle & 3CW Champion: Samoa Joe. These 2 gave all that they had & left nothing to chance as the battle raged back & forth for the full 20 minute time limit. Much like 2 weeks ago, this week we had another controversial ending. Then it was Kurt Angle with Samoa Joe in the Ankle Lock, when Matt Bentley caused a disqualification. Tonight, it was  referee Chad Patterson's decision to not let the match continue past the 20 minute limit when Samoa Joe was in control, just scoring a near fall. It's not a matter of "if", but, "when" will these 2 submission masters meet in the ring again?

Next week:

Texas Death Match:
Brent Albright vs Ken Kennedy

Raven makes his in ring debut

Four Corner-Elimination-# 1 Contender Tag Team Match:
