LLX Noche Lucha De Sábado
Date: January 15, 2005
Location: Arena Solidaridad

Alan Stone pinned Billy Boy after spinning headscissors into a cradle in 0:15:09.
Rating: ****

Billy Boy, a member of the Barrio Boys, wrestled a singles match this week against Alan Stone, who looked as if he was in a foul mood. Who can blame him considering he isn't involved in the World Title Battle Royal later on due to  his trios team losing last week to the team of Cibernetico, La Parka, and El Zorro? Perhaps Alan Stone took Billy Boy too lightly going into this match because Billy Boy had him frustrated throughout this match. Alan Stone was finally able to get the victory in this match but it was more a result of luck than skill to get it. Billy Boy went for a spinning backbreaker, but Alan Stone countered that with spinning headscissors into a cradle for the pinfall. That sequence looked really good and the fans popped for the finish. Afterwards, Alan Stone offered to shake Billy Boy's hand but pulled his hand back and started doing his usual dance he does on the way to the ring. Billy Boy waved him off and left the ring.

After the match, Alan Stone gets on the microphone and says that he is an original and that there is a luchador dancing his way to the ring around LLX that is imitating him. While imitation is a sign of flattery to most, Alan Stone thinks it is a sign of disrespect. Alan Stone tells El Intocable that he won't put up with it and practically orders him to stop dressing up the way he does and to stop dancing the way he does because he is disrespecting an original in Alan Stone.

Interview:
Nahima Choura is with one of the favorites to win the LLX World Title tonight, La Parka. With the battle royal tonight, Nahima wants to know how La Parka is preparing to take on eleven other luchadors who all want the same thing he does, the LLX World Title. La Parka says that unfortunately in a match like a battle royal, there really are no friends just people who are looking out for themselves so they can win the World Title. La Parka puts over the importance of tonight's battle royal as being LLX's opportunity to put their promotion on the map. Not just in Mexico, but in the United States, Canada, and the World. Nahima then asks him about Cibernetico's actions from last week. La Parka laughs and says it is typical Cibernetico. While Cibernetico has always had an ego, he'd hate to imagine him with a World Title to validate that ego.

La Parka is then suddenly hit by a chair by none other than "The Main Man" himself, Cibernetico! He is repeatedly hit with the chair by Cibernetico. There are some LLX officials backstage who are trying to desperately talk some sense into Cibernetico but he will have none of it and continues hitting La Parka with the chair. This brings out a frantic Antonio Pena pleading with Cibernetico to stop before he injures La Parka, an important participant in tonight's battle royal. Cibernetico stops hitting La Parka with the chair and drops it to the ground. Cibernetico backs off and tells Antonio Pena that his anger got the better of him. Antonio Pena goes to check on La Parka when Cibernetico grabs the chair again and hits Antonio Pena with it! What has gotten into Cibernetico?

Cibernetico sets a table up and puts La Parka on it. Cibernetico then gets on top of the table and proceeds to set La Parka up for a piledriver, a move that is banned in Mexico. Despite pleading from LLX officials and Antonio Pena, who has managed to stagger back up to his feet, Cibernetico hits the piledriver on La Parka through the table! Cibernetico gets back up to his feet and looks down at the chaos he has brought onto LLX. Antonio Pena immediately calls for the EMTs to help with La Parka. Before leaving the area, Cibernetico laughs at Antonio Pena and says that La Parka won't be able to take away his LLX World Title tonight. Antonio Pena promises that it will be him that has the last laugh tonight at Cibernetico's expense.

Tiffany, Miss Janeth, Mini Abismo Negro and Polvo De Estrellas defeated Martha Villalobos, Fabi Apache, Mascarita Sagrada 2000 and Pimpinela Escarlata when Tiffany pinned Villalobos after a waistlock suplex in 0:06:20.
Rating: **

This match featured a little bit of everything. Luchadoras, mini luchadores, and even exoticos were included in this atomicos match. A lot of this match involved brawling on the outside of the ring, but because of the advantage of a 20 count, there was little chance of a countout being called by the referee Tirantes. The ending featured an impressive feat by Tiffany as she was able to hit a waistlock suplex on the much larger Martha Villalobos to secure the victory for her team. I think the surprise of being taken down with a suplex from Tiffany was the main reason Martha couldn't kick out of the move.

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match With Captain's Rules:
Mascara Sagrada, El Oriental and Gran Apache beat The Black Family (Dark Cuervo,
Dark Ozz and Dark Scoria) 2 falls to 0:
x Oriental beat Dark Scoria via a Victory Roll in 0:03:15
x Sagrada beat Dark Ozz via a powerslam in 0:13:37
Rating: ** 1/2

Mascara Sagrada was able to rebound nicely here tonight after last week's frustrations with the referee's slow count that got his team disqualified from advancing into the battle royal this week. Dark Ozz went for a moonsault bodyblock but Mascara Sagrada countered with a powerslam that got the three count for his team.

[Battle Royal for the vacant LLX World Title]: 11-Man Battle Royal:
Cibernetico won a 11-man Battle Royal:
x Zorro defeated Shocker after the Magistral Cradle in 0:00:56
x Zorro defeated Zumbido in 0:01:40
        x Vampiro defeated C. Manson in 0:02:57
x Cibernetico defeated Octagon in 0:03:28
x A. Negro defeated Vampiro after a flying senton in 0:04:59
        x Zorro defeated A. Negro in 0:05:41
x Chessman defeated E. Shock after a spinebuster slam in 0:05:58
x El Intocable defeated Chessman after a Frankensteiner from the top
          rope in 0:06:48
x Cibernetico defeated El Intocable in 0:07:19
x Cibernetico defeated Zorro after the CiberBomb in 0:07:21
Rating: ** 1/4

The abscence of La Parka was noticeable but expected after Cibernetico's actions from earlier. That didn't mean a lack of competition for the LLX World Title though. El Zorro, in particular, looked impressive in this match, eliminating three other participants via pinfall (and his trusty singapore cane of course). After getting the pinfall against Intocable, Cibernetico took advantage of Shocker's interference against El Zorro, hitting him with the singapore cane, and immediately hit the CiberBomb on El Zorro to get the last pinfall elimination. Much to the chagrin of Antonio Pena, Cibernetico was able to outlast 10 other luchadors to win the battle royal and the LLX World Title. The technico fans were none too happy with the resut, however, Cibernetico's rudo fans were thrilled with the result. The referee Tirantes handed him the new LLX World Championship and Cibernetico celebrated in the ring.

Interview:
While Cibernetico celebrates his LLX World Title victory, Antonio Pena walks out on the stage with a microphone. Antonio Pena tells Tirantes to take away the LLX World Title because Cibernetico hasn't won anything yet. This was supposed to be a 12 man battle royal until Cibernetico thought he'd try to put one over on him and take La Parka out. Considering Cibernetico used a piledriver against La Parka and through a table no less, he really should suspend Cibernetico. However, that would punish the fans more than Cibernetico. Instead, Antonio Pena has decided to add another participant to replace La Parka with a special guest he invited to the show tonight. This participant will face Cibernetico in a singles match where the winner will then be declared the World Champion. Cibernetico is angry at Antonio Pena but isn't worried about whoever Antonio Pena has brought in to replace La Parka because there is no one better than him. Antonio Pena laughs and tells Cibernetico that we will see about that. That's when Latin Lover's music plays and the fans pop for the arrival of the one and only Latin Lover. Cibernetico looks shocked as Latin Lover walks out and shakes Antonio Pena's hand before going down to the ring.

Match for the vacant LLX World Title:
Latin Lover pinned Cibernetico with the Magistral Cradle in 0:10:08.
Rating: ** 1/2
(Latin Lover won the LLX World Title.)

To say Cibernetico was unprepared for Latin Lover would be an understatement. Moments earlier he had believed he had won the LLX World Title only to find out that Latin Lover had replaced La Parka in the battle royal and that this would be a singles match to determine the new champion. Latin Lover was extremely over in this match with the fans and not only that, he looked more determined than ever in defeating Cibernetico.

After the match, all the technico luchadors went down to the ring to celebrate Latin Lover's championship victory over Cibernetico. Antonio Pena handed Latin Lover the LLX World Title and proclaimed him to be the promotion's first world champion (although technically, Konnan did win the first AAA World Title but that title was declared inactive by Antonio Pena).

Not big on Stone or Billy Boy, but a good opener to your show.

Cibernetico is like Nigel McGuinness... he's in it to win it.  Taking out the competition is a way to do that for sure... hitting Pena... not so much.

Nice 8-man.  Hate to see Pimpinela Escarlata on the losing side of things.  He/She must get revenge! :) And make many referee's uncomfortable in the process!

Black Family just isn't what they used to be.  Plus Sagrada rules all.  I do wonder if you'll bring in Mascara Maligna down the road sometime to feud with Sagrada though.

Sad to see La Parka not end up being in the battle royal, but all the more reason for him to get a shot at Cibernetico soon.  I think the battle royal should've gone on a bit longer but I think the right man won the battle royal.  I'm not digging the false finish though with Latin Lover ending up picking up the title.  If it was further into LLX's run it'd be different, but personally I'm not into dropping a newly created vacant title like that.

Still good stuff though.  Cibernetico definitely isn't going to take that lying down thats for sure.

Keep it up HRS

It's not a false finish in that Antonio Pena was merely picking a last minute replacement for La Parka. Besides, it ruined Cibernetico's plans of taking La Parka out to make it easier for him to become the World Champion. When in fact things probably got that much harder.

How can you not be a fan of Alan Stone? Is it the gimmick of his wrestling ability. He's mostly entertaining for his entrance and dance.

Mascara Sagrada might get a push now. We'll see. I figure if Mascarita Sagrada is popular, might as well make his bigger version just as important.

I'm not familiar with Mascara Maligna...Is that his bitter rival?
