NAWA Glory 9/16/04

Tonight: Lenny and Juvi defend their NAWA Tag Team Titles against Miles Stylish and Jerry Lynn of the Triumvirate. Rapmaster Killings collides with CM Punk. The Gambler faces off against Christopher Daniels, who is wrestling for the first time since his brutal Walk Through Hell Match at WrestleClash III! All this and MUCH MORE tonight on Glory!

"Higher" by Creed plays and out comes Simon Diamond along with Johnny Swinger. Simon looks ready for action but tonight he has a hell of a challenge against the former NAWA World Champion, the man known as Ron Waterman. Simon calls for the microphone and gets it.

Simon: Simon's got a problem!

Don't you always Simon?

Simon: Simon and Swinger are not entered in the Unholy Alliances Tournament. We are sick of this blatant disrespect thrown towards us towards the New Age Wrestling Alliance. We've been in this promotion since day one, and yet we don't get much to show for it. Why tonight the only reason I have a match is because the suits in the back needed to fill up an extra slot! This is totally disrespectful to Simon and Swinger and we can tell you that you will not hear the end of this. Ron Waterman, tonight Simon Diamond will pin you in the center of the ring and Simon says you can take that to the bank. So Waterman, get out here and I'll give you a taste of what a true championship wrestler is all about.

"The Unforgiven" by Metallica plays and out comes Ron Waterman. Ron Waterman is walking to the ring with a purpose, he wants to get back on the winning track after dropping the NAWA World Title to the Dark Warrior at WrestleClash III and then failing at regaining the title in a rematch two weeks ago on Glory. Waterman enters the ring and Simon attacks him, jumpstarting this match.

Waterman kicks Swinger off but the couple of second distraction brings Simon to his feet. SUPERKICK CATCHES WATERMAN FLUSH IN THE FACE. Waterman covers Simon hooking the leg and scores the pin!

Swinger: Hey Waterman, you might have beat my partner tonight but let's see how you do when you face off against me. I'm challenging you to a match right now.

Waterman celebrates his victory, leaving both Simon and Swinger laying in the ring. Waterman walks off but right now let's go to this prerecorded promo with Raven.

We cut to a nearly dark room only lit by a candle. Raven is slumped against the wall and remains motionless for a few seconds before turning his head upwards to address the camera.

Raven: Time heals all wounds or so we are lead to believe. That statement is in error, as no time will heal the emotional and mental trauma both myself and the Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels suffered in Walk Through Hell a mere seventeen days ago at WrestleClash III. Bones were shattered, skin was torn into pieces, blood spilled in the name of vengeance, but the war is at an end and only Raven survived the battle, scoring the victory in the final confrontation, if one must call it a decisive victory. That issue is truly buried and it is unwise to linger in the past. The task at hand is the Unholy Alliances Tournament and I can ill afford any room for error. It matters not who I have been paired with, as they are nothing but a bit player in this human game of chess instigated by the Raven. The fact remains that the victory in the Unholy Alliances shall be mine and the NAWA World Title will come back around my waist. No matter what, my destiny will be realized once more. I don't care who stands in my way, the Raven will not be denied the prize that I never should have lost in the first place. The NAWA World Title will be mine and if the Triumvirate seeks to get in my way, they shall be liquidated from the competition. The Triumvirate has been called the most dominate force in the entire history of the New Age Wrestling Alliance but they will meet their match in Raven when we meet in battle. So it is written, so it shall come to pass. Quote the Raven, nevermore!

On that note, we fade out to a

"Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gees plays and out comes Tony Mamaluke. Mamaluke doesn't look too pleased and we take you back to last week on this program where after Mamaluke successfully defended his NAWA Cruiserweight Title against Teddy Hart, Ricardo Ramos Ricardo, Attorney At Law whacked Mamaluke with his briefcase, laying out the champion. Mamaluke steps into the ring calling for the microphone.

Mamaluke: Okay, I'm going to straigten something out. I've went up against Ron Waterman and got my ass kicked, multiple times. I locked horns with Jerry Lynn and got my ass kicked. Miles Stylish, I got my ass kicked. Hell, even I got my ass kicked by Teddy Hart before I managed to beat him for this Cruiserweight Title. However, there are some lines that shouldn't be crossed with all this ass kicking that I have received. There is only so much I can take before I can throw down the gauntlet. Last week Ricardo Ramos Ricardo, Attorney at Law not only crossed that line, but he rubbed it out and then pissed on the ground where the line once was. I don't mind getting punked out, hell for the past two years in the NAWA, I have challenged Ron Waterman multiple times despite many reasons why I should not to. So Mr. Ricardo, Law of Ramos Attorney Guy or whatever the hell you are called, one thing that I can't stand is getting knocked out by a briefcase by someone who was knocked out of the ring for nine months by a trio of Frenchmen. That makes me less than the French! THE FRENCH! So Ricardo Richard Ramos, Law at Attorney...you know what I just don't give a damn what your name is, just get out here so I can kick your ass for kicking mine last week.

"I Fought the Law and the Law Won" plays, out comes Ricard Ramos Ricardo, Attorney At Law along with his assistant Mr. Fernando, wearing his fake handlebar mustache and fake evil goatee. Ricardo doesn't look too happy. Mr. Fernando hands his boss a microphone.

Ricardo: You dare mock the greatness of the most brillant legal genius of this time or any other. Ricardo Ramos Ricardo, Attorney At Law!

Mamaluke: Oh I dare mock you.

Ricardo: I ought to slap a slander lawsuit on your disrespectful ass for the fact you mock me. How dare you question such brillance?

Mamaluke: No, I'm not mocking brillance actually Ricardo. I'm just mocking you.

Ricardo: That does it. I'm going to slap a subpeona on you right now for mocking me.

Richardo Ramos Ricardo, Attorney At Law removes his suit jacket and loosens his tie! This is personal! Ricardo walks to the ring as Mr. Fernado is sneaking around the back of the ring. Ricardo steps into the ring as Tony Mamaluke prepares for action. Ricardo gets in a kung-fu stance before aiming a kick towards Mamaluke but MAMALUKE CATCHES THE FOOT! Ricardo still has the microphone in his hand as he squirms out.

Ricardo: Just let you know, since I am a super genius, this is a set up so Mr. Fernado can attack you from behind.

Mamaluke drops Ricardo and turns around. RICARDO DECKS MAMALUKE ACROSS THE BACK OF THE HEAD WITH THE MICROPHONE! Mamaluke crumples to his knees and Ricardo takes off his tie. HE IS CHOKING TONY MAMALUKE WITH THE TIE! Mamaluke drops to his knees, the wind out of him as Ricardo double underhooks both arms. INJUNCTION DRIVES MAMALUKE DOWN. Ricardo stands on the back of Mamaluke, holding the NAWA Cruiserweight Title Belt over his head before dropping it down on Mamaluke. Ricardo lifts up the microphone.

Ricardo: At Unholy Alliances, I'll see you in court, Mamaluke!

Ricardo leaves the ring as medics come out to tend to Mamaluke. Let's go to where the fourth and final match for the Unholy Alliances Tournament is being drawn. Dan Marion and New Jack are standing by backstage. Take it away guys.

We are in the blank room with Unholy Alliances banners and four balls are left in the tumbler.

Marion: Welcome to the final match being drawn for the Unholy Alliances Tournament. I am Dan Marion...

New Jack: And I'm the man who tells all those punk ass bitches who to wrestle, the Commissioner of this entire shizzle, New Jack, bitches.

Marion: So without further ado, let's get this drawing underway for the fourth and final first round match in the Unholy Alliances Tournament.

Marion reaches into the lottery tumbler and pulls out a ball. Popping it open, Marion looks down to read the name.

Marion: Shawn Stasiak.

New Jack: A fine young wrestler and a former NAWA Tag Team Champion. He could very well be the future of this company and could tear this shizzle down. He could break through to the upper tier and shock the shiznit out of the world by getting a bitchin' shot at the NAWA World Title.

Marion reaches into the tumbler and pulls out another name.

Marion: Matt Bentley will be his tag team partner.

New Jack: Man, that should be interesting, Matt Bentley and Shawn Stasiak were on opposite sides of a feud over the NAWA Tag Team Titles just earlier this year and there is no doubt there is a bit of lingering bad blood between these two. Should be a fuckin' powderkeg if these two butt heads.

Marion reaches into the tumbler and pulls out another name.

Marion: Entering the Tournament next in the second team for this match is former NAWA World Champion Ron Waterman.

New Jack: Ah yes, this is one guy who really wants back in that NAWA World Title hunt. If he wins this Unholy Alliances Tournament, then he can get closer to regaining the championship that he might have never lost had he not had a close encounter with an ether soaked rag.

Marion reaches into the tumbler and pulls out the final ball.

Marion: His tag team partner, a member of the Archangels of Anarchy....SACRIFICE!

New Jack: Ah bitchin', Sacrifice and Ron Waterman on the same team, that fucking shit will be big. They are definately the biggest, baddest, mother fuckin' team in the Unholy Alliances Tournament.

The pairings have been decided. To review it will be Raven and Chris Sabin vs Agony and Spanky. Jerry Lynn and AJ Styles vs Miles Stylish and Scott Hall. CM Punk and Christopher Daniels vs Rapmaster Killings and Teddy Hart and finally, Sacrifice and Ron Waterman vs Shawn Stasiak and Matt Bentley. There will be three rounds of tag team matches and the winning team faces off one on one at the end of the night, with the prize being an NAWA World Title Shot. It's NAWA Unholy Alliances only on Pay Per View.

The Anaconda Vice put out Rapmaster Killings just like it did AJ Styles at WrestleClash III. That move is an extremely dangerous move and if a wrestler doesn't submit within a matter of seconds, they will most definately find themselves passing out from the pressure from the hold. Punk goes to the Unholy Alliances where he'll team up with "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels to take on Teddy Hart and Rapmaster Killings in the Tournament.

Teddy Hart: You know what happened. I'll tell you what happened back there. The end of the Hart Foundation, the Next Generation. They dissolved right before our very eyes. Basically, they are dead and good riddance to the hinderences on my career. I wash my hands of all of those punks. Hell, I shouldn't even be in that match. You want to know why Dan Marion? I'll tell you why. All those people in this match were Cruiserweights. I dominated the Cruiserweight division. I have nothing left to prove in the Cruiserweight division. I'm done with the New Age Wrestling Alliance Cruiserweight Division and the suits in the office best book me in matches with heavyweights from now on, because Teddy Hart is moving up in the world. Starting with the Unholy Alliances Tournament. You are looking at the winner of the tournament, ladies and gentlemen and Teddy Hart will be the NAWA World Champion in the near future. You can take that to the bank because there is one thing that is definate in this world. That is I'm Teddy Hart and you're not!

"Hell's Bells" plays and out comes "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels along with Agony and the Chosen One following him. Daniels looks pained with every step as he is still pretty banged up from that Walk Through Hell Match two weeks ago at WrestleClash III and the visible signs is a large bandage on his forehead. We see a video clip courtesy of NAWA Home Video where Christopher Daniels came off the ladder when Raven was set up on a bed of nails but came up a little short and impaled himself on the nails. Daniels steps into the ring, calling for the microphone. Daniels receives it and let's see what the Fallen Angel has to say.

Daniels: Tonight, I step back into the ring. I took a Walk Through Hell many weeks ago and paid the price but the fact remains it was a gamble worth taking for the chance that I might have been sucessful. That is finished but tonight I have another challenge ahead of me. The Gambler has been chosen to step into the ring with the Fallen Angel for his return bout. Such foolishness thinking he could get the drop on me. Gambler, prepare to go into Unholy Alliances with negative momentum but I truly do hope you triumpth over the Dark Warrior because when I win the Unholy Alliances Tournament, that means I'll just beat you once again to win the NAWA World Title. The fact remains the Gambler, this was a title shot you fluked your way into. Right place, right time, right circumstances but I'm going to show the world what it truly takes to be a championship wrestler. The fact you truly think you deserve that title shot is highly laughable Gambler and I am going to prove it tonight by making an example out of you in this very ring. So get out here and meet your maker in the Fallen Angel, Christopher Daniels.

Daniels drops the microphone removing his robe to reveal his chest and stomach along with his right arm heavily bandaged from the after effects from that Walk Through Hell Match. "Highway to Hell" by AC/DC plays and out comes the Gambler but he has a microphone of his own and a bit of an amused expression on his face.

Gambler: Daniels, you say you are going to make an example out of me? You think it's highly laughable that I have an NAWA World Title Shot at Unholy Alliances. Well, Fallen Angel, I'm going to make you a deal. I'm willing to put my NAWA World Title Shot on the line against you, three days before the Pay Per View. The only thing you have to due is send your two cronies to the back and if you beat me, then I will step aside for Unholy Alliances, allowing you to challenge the Dark Warrior for the NAWA World Title.

Daniels pauses for a moment before turning to address the Gambler.

Daniels: Agony, Chosen One, go to the back. I'm taking what is rightfully mine from this pathetic excuse of a wrestler.

Warrior: Through the mystic lands of destiny regards the greatest of truths of destrucity. Facing into the perils that the world brings upon us taking with the New Age Wrestling Alliance and into the world, into the multitude of all universes. The night of destiny will bring upon my grand unveiling, taking all of the Warriors in the universe and through the constellations of destiny. Facing into the world, into the worlds, taking into account all that is true, Unholy Alliances shall be the genesis of the grandest manifistation of Destrucity. Taking into account the laws of the universe, victory will be at hand at Unholy Alliances as I crush the hopes of a foolish non-believer of Destrucity like an insignificant grape. The pedestal of victory will rise deeply into the skies of triumpth and worlds among us will be taking the spoils of the conquest that is at hand. The world will never be the same as from the wave of intercosmic destruction along with the collapse of the chances of a champion, the likes of which that never have been seen!!!

The Dark Warrior drops his microphone, walking off. The Dark Warrior will defend the NAWA World Title against the Gambler at Unholy Alliances but coming up next, part Two of the Harry Harris sitdown Interview. More Glory after this.

We cut to the empty arena with Dan Marion and Harry Harris sitting in the middle of it. When we last left you last week on this program, Dan Marion had just asked Harry Harris for his opinion on the Dark Warrior. Let's join this interview in progress.

Harris: The Dark Warrior, that's a difficult subject. Maybe if I can understand a word the guy says, perhaps I can give you a clearer view of what I think about him.

Marion: Perhaps he just talks on a higher level then you are able to comprehend, Mr. Harris.

Harris: Perhaps, but here's the thing about the Dark Warrior. He's the NAWA World Champion. He must have done something right to win the title but the fact remains anyone can win the NAWA World Title if they used an ether soaked rag and had two other much more talented wrestlers running in for him. I respect the talents inside the ring of both Jerry Lynn and Miles Stylish as great wrestlers, even through I don't think too much about them as human beings. The Dark Warrior has never impressed me, even during his best day in the early 1990s. Sure he's the NAWA World Champion and he may hold onto that belt for some time, as it's easier to stay on top of the mountain then to get to the top of the mountain...

Marion: Yes and after Miles Stylish knocked out off the mountain and onto the disabled list last January, it was proven that you didn't do such a good job staying there, Harris.

Harris: As I was saying, he's the NAWA World Champion. Nothing I can do about it, nothing anyone else can do about it. I'm going to have to get back in line for a title shot but there is a long list of world class wrestlers in this company that want a shot at the NAWA World Title. I'm merely a number on the list of many. The Dark Warrior might not be the champion by the time I get around to receiving a title shot.

Marion: Oh I think he will as the Triumvirate is the most dominant force in wrestling today and everyone that has stood in their way has been blown right over. Harris, I'm going to tell you this right now, you are going into one battle that you can't win.

Harris: And that is where you're wrong. The Triumvirate may knock me down several times but until my final breath, I will keep fighting them and I will make sure they fall. After all, anyone who knows history would know that all Triumvirates fall eventually. Miles Stylish, great wrestler or not, has the ego of a small planet and it will just take one bit too much success from his two other teammates before Stylish wants to grab all the glory for himself and shatters everything the Triumvirate has worked for.

Marion: What makes you so certain of this, Mr. Harris?

Harris: I think I've wrestled Miles Stylish enough times and have encountered him in many federations enough to know how the man operates. Great wrestler and he knows it. Egomanic, yet talented. He's only had a handful of losses in the four years he's been wrestling and most of those have been to Ron Waterman who is about five inches and sixty pounds bigger then Stylish is. He is addicted to his own success and his own glory! That will be the eventual downfall of the Triumvirate.

Marion: Well, I would have to agree that Miles Stylish has not tasted defeat too much, of course many of his greatest, most dominant victories have been against you in bush league independent shows across the country.

Harris: Four years, many matches, yet no pinfall or submission victories. Not one clean victory to my name against Miles Stylish. Like I said earlier, that gives me purpose, that gives me drive to defeat Miles Stylish in the center of the ring. The NAWA World Title is on my agenda but scoring that illusive pinfall victory over Miles Stylish is definately right on the top of the list. Make no mistake about it Stylish, victory will eventually be mine.

Marion: We'll see if that happens but I very much doubt that but if I may, I would like to hear your opinion a few other NAWA superstars.

Harris: Fair enough, proceed with your questions.

Marion: The man that many feel stepped up on the fan favorite side during your absense and became the Franchise Player in the NAWA, Ron Waterman?

Harris: Ron Waterman, man I would have loved to face him when he was the NAWA World Champion and still had that undefeated streak. We have never locked horns and I felt if he would have just held onto that belt for a couple of more months, I could have positioned myself in for an NAWA World Title shot by being the only main event level wrestler left not to compete for the NAWA World Title. We could have torn the house down on Pay Per View, hell, we still could tear the house down if given the chance to compete. Maybe in the future, we'll be on opposite sides of the ring but that might be a long time coming.

Marion: Very well, next we've got the man who might be second only to Miles Stylish in the talent department, in my honest opinion anyway, Teddy Hart.

Harris: Ego problem to the fullest extent but impressive athlete but the problem is he acts immature at times. While Miles Stylish is a cocky bastard in his own right, at least he knows when to keep his ego in check and when to grandstand. Teddy Hart on the other hand made several careless errors that should really not have been made by someone of his wrestling pedigree in the past. Fantastic wrestler, bad ego problem, and another person that I wouldn't mind having a match or two against if my schedule permits it when I return from injury.

Marion: Very well, how about Raven?

Harris: Raven's...well he's Raven. We've had our differences in the past and we will continue to clash in the future, due to the face we are both after the same thing, the NAWA World Title. We traded the title a couple of times and Raven was the last wrestler that competed against before Stylish ambushed me. The fact remains Raven and I could be uneasy allies one week, but bitter rivals the next. Raven and I don't coexist well some weeks yet other weeks we have to force each other to coexist to compete against a common enemy.

Marion: Could this common enemy be the Triumvirate?

Harris: Perhaps it might but only time will tell.

Marion: I see I'm not going to get any straight answers from that line of questioning but while I'm on the subject of straight, let's go Straight Edge, as in CM Punk.

Harris: Punk's talented. He's perhaps the future of this company. I don't agree with his outlook on life but that's his opinion. Whether or not Punk can break into the main event scene completely will be something to watch in the coming months. He's definately got his work cut out for him as there is a lot of wrestlers in this company ready to make a name for themselves and only so many wrestlers can constantly compete in the main event. It took me over a year to completely break into the main event scene and I can tell you if it wasn't because of lack of trying. Punk's an ace in this sport and his win-loss record in the New Age Wrestling Alliance speaks for itself.

Marion: Well, we're running short on time and I would like to thank you for your time Mr. Harris. Any thoughts to give the fans before we wrap this up.

Harris: I'm going to be back, I'm going to be back better than ever. All the fans of the New Age Wrestling Alliance will get there money's worth when they see Harry Harris step back into the ring. I won't pull any punches, I'm going to be better and more agressive then I ever have been before my knee injury.

Marion: Thank you Harry Harris. This is Dan Marion and this has been an NAWA exclusive interview with Harry Harris.

This match will have the NAWA World Tag Team Titles on the line and out comes the NAWA International Champion Miles Stylish and the NAWA Television Champion Jerry Lynn. These two wrestlers will contend for the NAWA World Tag Team Titles tonight on Glory. It should be noted that the jaw of Miles Stylish is completely healed up and he calls for the microphone.

Stylish: Tonight, you fans are going to witness history being made. The Triumvirate, the most dominant force in wrestling today, is about to add another title to our growing collection. The NAWA World Tag Team Championships are hanging in the balance and we are going to relieve Lenny and Juvi of their tag team title burdens. But first, let me say a few words to Harry Harris. Harris, I really didn't pay attention to your interview too much but I did in fact notice you kept drawing attention to the fact that you've never been able to beat me in the center of the ring. I think it's highly amusing that you are aware of your own short comings and how dominant I have been against you. You've never beat me Harry Harris and you never will beat me, because one thing is true and that is I am the greatest wrestler in the entire world today. No one can match my talent. Still, if you want a piece of me, if you want to have the honor of being in the same ring with me, then I'm calling you out Harry Harris. At Unholy Alliances, I'm challenging you to a fight. Not a wrestling match, because you will truly be outclassed what a fight. So show up this Sunday because I sure as hell will be there as I'm going to compete in a match and I'll crush your hopes of ever getting the better of me. Now, as for tonight, Lenny and Juvi, get out here because it is no use delaying the inevitable and that is brand new NAWA World Tag Team Champions!

Waterman looked ultra strong here. No way was he jobbing to Diamond. Swinger, perhaps I could have seen that under the circumstances but Ron's in pretty dominant form now.

Ricardo truly IS a genius. I'm surprised Mamaluke was stupid enough for fall for the "Mr. Fernando is behind you, ha, fooled you, I just hit you in the head with a microphone" trick.

Some more interesting pairings for the PPV, I'll touch on that in the predictions thread.

CM Punk is on a roll right now. That classic he had with A.J. is still ringing somewhat with me. God that was a good match.

I don't think Teddy will win the Unholy Alliances tournament but he may be going up in the world now. I think that split was pretty definitive. Be interesting to see where everyone in the Foundation goes from here.

Wow, noteworthy defeat for Daniels there, even if it were to someone as great as Gambler. I actually think I might be in love with you for making Gambler a star. Still no way he'll beat the Warrior, but still...

Interesting look on Harry Smi... uhhh, Harris.  I don't suppose he will be the one to dethrone the Warrior, at least not right away but that all helped set up a title shot I want to see.

Yeah, I figured the Triumvirate would take that one. A decent match and the Trium now look so utterly dominant that I'm not sure who'll be the ones to dethrone them for any of the belts. Still, someone has to...
