8/10/06

iMPACT opens up to a shot of the sold out crowd then to our announcers Mike Tenay and Doug West

Tenay welcomes everyone to Phillips Arena in Atlanta GA, as iMPACT continues on it's road tour. Last week Management Director Jim Cornette came down and laid the law down on a few iMPACT superstars. First he informed Jeff Jarrett he would have to redo his match from Victory Road, then advised Simon Diamond that he was out of a job, and made life just miserable for Team Canada. X Division Champ Petey Williams first title defense was against Samoa Joe and The new Tag Team Champs Andrew Martin and Bobby Roode had to face a 3 way against AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels and America's Most Wanted. Tonight Team Canada will defend the NWA World Tag Team Titles against Styles and Daniels, and in our main event a Triple threat match for the X division title as Petey Williams will defend for a 2nd straight week against Senshi and Samoa Joe. Let's head to the ring for our 1st match.

NWA World Tag Team Title Match:
AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels vs. Team Canada (C) (Andrew Martin and Bobby Roode)

The match was set and both teams were ready to go as the bell went off. Martin and Daniels started things off and Martin laid Daniels down with a clothesline. Martin was all over Daniels as Scott D'Amore barked out orders. Martin hit a powerslam and went for the pin but only got a 2 count. Martin whips Daniels into the ropes but Daniels hits Martin with a shoulderblock and makes the tag to Styles who comes in and clears the ring of both Roode and Martin. The Champs regroup next to D'Amore who barks some orders while the ref counts. Styles decide to break up the meeting by flying over the rope taking out all 3 men with a flying body press. While out on the floor, Chris Harris jumps from the crowd and slams a chair on the back of Styles and rolls back into the crowd. Bobby Roode tosses Styles back in the ring and works on Styles more before tagging Martin back in. Martin hits the Big Boot on Styles and goes for the pin. Daniels tries to make the save but D'Amore trips him on his way in giving Team Canada the win.

Backstage we see an upset Cage talking to Jim Cornette. He demands RVD in the ring tonight for what he pulled last week in Florida. Cornette tells Cage he doesn't even know if Rob Van Dam is even in Atlanta much less at the Arena since he wasn't scheduled to wrestle tonight. Cage said he didn't care. You find him and you book it. He then walks away.

Back at the announcers table Tenay comments on RVD actions last week when he is interrupted by the music of one Jeff Jarrett who makes his way to the ring. He tells the folks that once again the powers that be tried to stop him from getting what should already be his. He calls out Raven and tells him that next week that belt comes home with him. Raven then comes out to the delight of the crowd and tells Jarrett that what he did at Victory road and again pulled last week in Tallahassee will only lead to his downfall. Jarrett just laughed and said that only thing that was falling was Raven and at that moment the "Alpha Male" Monty Brown slammed a double ax handle across the back of Raven. He continues to hammer away as he then slides the NWA Champ into the ring. Jarrett signals for the Stroke but Sting comes running down to the ring with his black bat causing Brown and Jarrett to make a quick exit. Sting points the bat at Jarrett who jaws his way back up the ramp as we go to commercial.

Ive decided to take impact Wrestling off the boards, I'll continue to work it on TNM and will update the website and have the results availible for anyone who wants to read, I could tell from the start this was an unpopular cirrcuit and some of the comments made that clear. I most likely wont be posting anything circuit wise since each one has died a horrible death. Impact was the only one i thought was working Don;t get me wrong I was not posting for comments or feedback but when you don't get feed back and the views are like 8 when you knw 2 of those views are yours then it's obvious that noone cares beyond you so just like a tv show that did not have the views Impact Wresling will continue just not on the boards..

For those who did read I hope you enjoyed what I tried to do. For those who didn't, Sorry
