(Fireworks explode as another GWA Ground Zero begins! The camera pans through the crowd as the announcers go over tonight's card. The Amazing Red will defend the GWA Cruiserweight Title against Deranged. Edge will defend the GWA T.V. Title against Lance Storm. The Havana Pitbulls will face the Young Lions in a preview of the Scramble match at Fallout. And in the main event, AJ Styles, Christian and Chris Jericho of the Dynasty will face the Tag Team champions, Chris Benoit and Ken Shamrock and their partner Taz! With just one week until Fallout, everyone will be trying to get as much momentum as possible.)

("Swamp Thing" by Juno Reactor plays as Taz walks down the aisle in a sweatshirt and jeans. Last week, he managed to withstand the constant cheating of Chris Jericho and made him tap out to the Tazmission, with an assist from Lance Storm. Next Sunday, he'll be facing Kurt Angle for the GWA North American Title in the main event at Fallout. He enters the ring and takes a mic.)

Taz: For a while now, I've had to hear that I couldn't beat Kurt Angle. And why? Because I'm not a wrestler. No, I'm a fighter. You see, where I come from, there are no rules. There's no grappling. There's just your fists. The first guy to drop loses. And that is exactly what I've built my entire career on. When you step into the ring with me, you know you're in for the fight of your life. Beat me if you can, survive if I let you. So last week, I took on Chris Jericho with the goal to show you Kurt Angle and to show the world what happens when you step in the ring with me: you get choked out. It doesn't matter if you cheat, it doesn't matter if you're a medallist, when you fight Taz, you get hurt. There's no way around it.

(Taz is cut off as "Medal" plays, bringing out Kurt Angle, who already has a mic.)

KA: Before you go singing your own praises Taz, I've gotta say I wasn't that impressed. You're going to talk about Jericho cheating, when you wouldn't have won if Lance Storm hadn't interfered. You just proved me right after all. Man to man, you can't cut it against a real wrestler. You're nothing but a thug, and that's all you will ever be. Oh it's true.

Taz: Why don't you shut your damn mouth? If you're so confident about that, why don't you step into the aisle and try and take me down?

KA: You'd love that, wouldn't you? I come to the ring and then you punch me repeatedly and put me in that illegal choke of yours. But I haven't gotten where I am because I'm an idiot. No, we're going to wait until Fallout, where I'll humiliate you in front of the world and show once and for all that I was always right. And that...is true!

("Medal" plays as Angle waves to the fans and heads to the back. Taz visibly seethes in the ring. We then cut to the back with Lance Storm.)

LS: Chris Jericho, you shouldn't take my challenging Edge for the TV Title as a sign that I'm taking you lightly, or that I'm not looking forward to our match. I'm focused on you, but I'm also doing something that I promised myself. That's right, I'm fulfilling a promise I made because of you. And that is that I'm going to wrestle for myself. There's no need to try to make other people appreciate me. No need to try and beg my way into a group with my "best friend". No, I should just go to the ring and do what I do best. If people want to cheer me for doing that, that's fine. If they want to boo, that's fine too. But it isn't my central focus. My focus is always the man that's inside the ring. So tonight, it'll be Edge. But next week? Next week, it'll be you. And when I slap you in the Straight Shooter, you'll know that I haven't been slacking off after all. Because not only will I have beaten you, but I'll have retained the GWA T.V. Title.

(Storm stares at the camera as we cut back to the ring.

"Knife Prty" by Deftones plays as Matt Hardy makes his way downt he aisle. He hasn't had a lot of success in the GWA, but he's always looking to change that, and one big win can change your momentum just like that.

The lights then turn off as "O Fortuna" by Therion plays. Spotlights roam across the crowd before centering on the ramp, where the King of Old School Steve Corino stands. He jogs down the aisle and has been very impressive as of late, scoring decisive wins over Ultimo Dragon and Jerry Lynn. He steps through the ropes and takes off his jacket, slinging it to the outside. The bell then rings.)

[Matt Hardy vs. Steve Corino]

They start to lock up, but Hardy rocks Corino with an elbow to the face. Corino holds his nose and Hardy comes in with a series of punches. Corino blocks one and quickly brings Hardy to the mat with a snap mare. He measures him and drops a knee across the forehead to stun him, then sits him up and rams him hard with a knee to the back. Hardy rolls around in agony and Corino brings him up and runs into the corner, ramming Hardy's head into the turnbuckle. Corino makes the cover, but Hardy gets out at two. Corino brings Hardy up to his feet, but Hardy responds with some more punches. Corino chops him in the throat to get the advantage, then whips him into the ropes, but Hardy comes back with a flying clothesline. He grabs Corino by the hair and repeatedly rams his head into the mat. He gets up and works the crowd as the ref admonishes him. He walks back over to Corino, who slingshots him into the turnbuckle. Hardy holds his chest and Corino quickly moves in, working him over in the corner with chops. He brings him out and whips him into the ropes, but Hardy reverses. Corino tries to hit a lariat, but Hardy ducks under and hits the Side Effect! He makes the cover, but Corino kicks out just in time although he's still in a bad way. Hardy brings Corino to his feet and calls for the Twist of Fate. He goes for it, but Corino stops it with a kidney punch. Hardy immediately drops to a knee and Corino takes advantage, grabbing him from behind and delivering the Old School Expulsion. He makes the cover for three.

Steve Corino pinned Matt Hardy with the Old School Expulsion in 0:06:46.
Rating: ***

Matt Hardy showed a lot of fire, but Corino got in one good shot and pulled out the victory. Hardy rolls out of the ring and Corino grabs a mic.

SC: I'd like to bring attention to a flaw of the GWA. If you look at the card for Fallout next week, you'll see a lot of big names. There's Kurt Angle. There's Taz. There's Chris Benoit. There's Chris Jericho. But who there is not...is the King of Old School Steve Corino. And that is a crime. A terrible shame. Because the King of Old School Steve Corino is exactly the type of man that the GWA should be promoting. Clean cut...well spoken...and most of all, the single greatest wrestler in the world today. So next week, I will help the GWA help itself. The King of Old School Steve Corino will be at Fallout. The King of Old School Steve Corino will make an impact. And the King of Old School Steve Corino will make sure that at the end of the night, you will refer to me...as God.

(Corino drops the mic and leaves the ring. The camera cuts to the back where Kurt Angle is walking. Doug Williams gets in his way.)

KA: What do you want?

DW: Remember, you're not touching Taz tonight or you're going to have to deal with me.

KA: Yeah, yeah. I don't need to touch Taz. Because next week I'm going to wrestle circles around him and I'm going to keep my title.

DW: I'm watching you. I'm not letting anything get in the way of what I want. And if that means beating you up...good.

(Williams walks away.)

KA: Like he can do anything against a gold medallist.

(Angle shakes his head and keeps walking. The camera cuts back to the ring where we find Kanyon, mic in hand.)

Kanyon: I'd like to apologize to Tajiri. You see, last week, I took on Tajiri and he beat me. I'll admit it. But I was wondering the entire time if I locked my car. Cause I just bought myself a real nice BMW with the money I got for signing with the GWA and I didn't want it to get stolen in a place like Denver. So my mind wasn't completely on the match. So after the match, I bailed out and I ran to the parking lot just to check. Since I'm sure you're all wondering, yes, it was locked. But it seems that Mexico's Most Wanted came down last week and completely destroyed poor Tajiri. And Tajiri, if I knew that they were coming down, you know that I would never leave you to fight for yourself. But to make it up to you and to make sure you and Quiet Storm know how committed I am to being a partner to you guys, I'm going to start up the Kanyon Challenge again. So I'll take on any person in the back in a match right here, one on one. Well, maybe not Taz, he's pretty crazy. And CIMA went nuts on me too last time, so he's out. And either guy on Mexico's Most Wanted is no good. But anybody else, any man that's not crazy, I'll fight in this ring. And I'll show that nobody is betta than Kanyon.

(A few seconds pass then "Final Resistance" by Dark Tranquillity plays as Jerry Lynn walks down the ramp. Kanyon looks pretty happy with how this has turned out. Lynn gets in the ring and snatches the mic from Kanyon.)

JL: You know Kanyon, people like you make me sick. Months ago, CIMA beat you up, he destroyed your car, and what did you do? You ran. You didn't do anything about it. You just let people like CIMA walk all over you. And then, when you finally manage to get enough stones to come back to the GWA, do you try to fight the guy whose made your life hell? No, you're worried about Tajiri of all people. Trying to make Quiet Storm like you again? You should be making sure CIMA never even thinks about attacking you.

(Kanyon takes the mic back.)

Kanyon: Hey, hey. There's no need for all this anger. If I can wrestle without running into the crazies, that'd be great for me. But don't for a second think that I'm scared of anybody. It's just not worth the hassle.

(Kanyon throws the mic on the mat and the bell rings.)

[Kanyon vs. Jerry Lynn]

Lynn starts out with a series of punches and forces Kanyon in the corner. He then starts hitting Kanyon with some shoulderblocks, but Kanyon hits a kneelift to make Lynn stop. Kanyon takes a few deep breaths, then pops Lynn with a punch to the face. He whips Lynn into the ropes and knocks him down with a kick to the head. Lynn gets up quickly, but Kanyon knocks him down with a double axhandle. He drops a couple elbows and makes the cover, but Lynn kicks out. Kanyon brings Lynn to his feet and hits him with a forearm to knock him into the corner. He plays to the crowd, then charges in, but Lynn gets a foot up. Kanyon staggers back and Lynn knocks him down with a lariat. Kanyon flops to his feet and Lynn knocks him down with another lariat. Kanyon tries to roll out of the ring, but Lynn grabs him by the leg and pulls him back in. He stomps him in the head repeatedly and rolls him over, making the cover, but Kanyon kicks out. Lynn brings Kanyon to his feet and tries to lift him up for a slam, but Kanyon blocks it and hits him with a hard knee to the stomach. He hits him with a couple forearms to the back and then lifts him up. He spins him around and drops him with a flapjack. Kanyon rolls him over and hooks the leg, but Lynn gets a foot on the ropes. Kanyon brings Lynn up and starts to whip him into the ropes, but pulls him back and goes for the Flatliner. Lynn manages to break free with a series of elbows to the head and kicks Kanyon in the stomach. He goes for the Cradle Piledriver, but Kanyon's too big and backdrops his way out. Lynn gets up, but Kanyon kicks him in the stomach and hits a sitdown faceslam, making Lynn pop back up to his knees. Kanyon hits Lynn with another hard right to the face, then hoists him up on his shoulders and climbs to the second rope. He tries to fall back with a Samoan drop, but Lynn fights out and lands on his feet. He then leans forward to power bomb Kanyon off the second rope! Kanyon's been knocked loopy, but Lynn brings him back up and climbs to the second rope. He grabs Kanyon and drives him to the mat with a tornado DDT. He then hooks the leg and gets three.

Jerry Lynn pinned Kanyon after a tornado DDT in 0:08:25.

Kanyon puts up a good fight, but Jerry Lynn was too good on this night. Lynn motions for the mic, but the JumboTron comes on instead with Tully Blanchard's face on the screen.

TB: Jerry, you know that Red's match against Deranged is next, and I don't want you anywhere near it. So head to the back right now. And I'm sure you'll see why I don't want you in the ring.

(Lynn starts to protest, but Blanchard repeats himself more forcefully and Lynn eventually leaves the ring. As he walks up the ramp, "Yatahaze" by dredg plays. Lynn immediately stops walking as CIMA walks down the ramp. Lynn stares a hole into CIMA, but CIMA gives him a cursory glance as he walks by.)

TB: Jerry! Don't you even think about attacking him. Head to the back now!

(Lynn glares at Blanchard, then glances back at CIMA. He heads to back shaking his head and cursing along the way. CIMA takes a chair near the timekeeper and sits down as "Tell Me Why" by Paul Van Dyk plays, bringing out Deranged. Deranged passes Lynn and taunts him before walking down the aisle. He steps through the ropes and plays to the crowd, who aren't fans of his. Deranged starts to flick them off as the camera quickly cuts back to the entryway.

"Edge of the Earth" by 30 Seconds to Mars plays as the Amazing Red walks down the aisle with the Cruiserweight Title around his waist. CIMA gets up to stare down Red as he walks. Deranged and Spanky seem to have befriended CIMA more than anybody else so far, or at least, he hasn't turned on them yet. Deranged asked for this title shot, and with Red being a fighting champion, it was accepted. Red steps through the ropes and takes off the belt. The ref holds it up, then calls for the bell.)

[Deranged vs. The Amazing Red]

They lock up immediately and Red sweeps Deranged and makes a cover for two. Deranged pops up, sweeps Red, and then makes a cover of his own for two. Both men get up and Deranged whips Red into the ropes. He goes for a hiptoss, but Red rolls with it and brings Deranged to the mat with a monkey flip. Red waits for Deranged to get to his feet and pops him with a spinning leg lariat. Red then brings Deranged to his feet and whips him into the ropes, but Deranged jumps in the air and snaps him down with a Frankensteiner. He quickly tries to make the cover, but only gets two. He stomps on Red's head repeatedly to slow him and brings him up to his feet. He lifts him up for a vertical suplex, but Red fights it and gets back to the ground. Deranged immediately takes Red's leg out with a dropkick to the knee, sending him facefirst to the mat. He rolls Red over and hits him with a soccer kick to the small of his back, then runs into the ropes and hits another dropkick. He makes the cover, but Red kicks out in time. Deranged stomps away at Red's legs now and eventually brings him to his feet. Red breaks free of Deranged's grasp though and catches him with some chops followed by a spin kick. He hits Deranged with the bad knee though and can't take advantage. Deranged gets up slowly and hits Red with a kick to the midsection, but Red responds with a forearm. Deranged rocks back and Red hits him with a couple slaps to the head and then a thrust kick to the back of the head. Deranged is knocked completely loopy and Red whips him into the ropes, snapping him to the mat with a powerslam. He hooks the leg and manages to get three.

The Amazing Red pinned Deranged after a powerslam in 0:07:35.

(The Amazing Red retained the GWA Cruiserweight Title.)

Red gets up and immediately spins around to see if CIMA will do something as Deranged rolls out of the ring. CIMA rises out of his chair and jumps on the apron. He steps through the ropes, but Blanchard speaks through the JumboTron again.)

TB: I wouldn't attack him if I were you CIMA. Because, all things being fair, I've booked you in a match for right now. And Red, since CIMA didn't interfere in your match, I want you to leave the ring, sit in the chair and watch patiently.

(Red glares at CIMA, but then leaves the ring and sits in the chair CIMA was in earlier. CIMA looks to the entryway and after a few seconds, "At the Helm" by Hieroglyphics plays, bringing out Joel Maximo. Red isn't happy about this, but he remains seated regardless. Joel's had a surprising amount of singles success in the GWA, even pinning Kurt Angle and taking him to the limit another time, but he's in for a huge fight now. Maximo steps through the ropes and the match is on.)

[CIMA vs. Joel Maximo]

Joel immediately rushes CIMA and blasts him with a series of right hands. He then whips him into the ropes and connects with a dropkick to knock CIMA to the mat. He immediately follows in with an elbowdrop and puts him in a headlock. CIMA gets to his feet and smacks Maximo in the back with forearms to break the hold. CIMA then immediately kicks Joel hard in the thigh to stagger him and follows it with an enzuigiri that makes Joel fall facefirst to the mat. CIMA pulls Joel's head up by the ponytail and then slams his head into the mat. He then runs into the ropes and jumps on his head with a double stomp. Joel pops up a little, but CIMA runs into the ropes again and hits a sliding dropkick. He makes the cover, but Joel kicks out at two. CIMA brings Joel up to his feet, but then cuts his legs out with a dropkick to the knee. Joel falls hard and CIMA quickly applies a camel clutch. He stares at Red as he clinches in the hold, making Joel scream out in pain. Even though he's clearly in agony, Joel refuses to tap out though and slowly crawls toward the ropes. CIMA tries to pull him back, but Joel makes his way forward anyway, though slower now. CIMA breaks the hold and stomps Joel hard in the back. He brings Joel to his feet and whips him into the ropes, but Joel manages to reverse it. CIMA comes back and Joel lifts him up to hit a Hotshot! CIMA falls to the mat holding his throat, but Joel's in too much pain to take advantage. Both men slowly get to their feet and Joel kicks CIMA in the stomach before taking him down with a swinging neckbreaker. He climbs to the top rope and jumps with a flying elbowdrop which connects! Joel takes a second to grimace from the pain and covers, but CIMA kicks out at two. Joel brings CIMA to his feet and goes for a back suplex, but CIMA flips over and dropkicks Joel in the back of the head. Joel falls in a heap and CIMA brings him back to his feet before whipping him into the corner. He follows in and completely devastates him with a palm blow! He then whips Joel into the other corner and follows in with another running palm blow. CIMA pulls Joel out of the corner and lifts him up, drilling him with a brain buster! He starts to make the cover, but then looks at Red and brings Joel up to his feet again. He places Joel on the turnbuckle and brings him down with the Iconoclasm. He then quickly climbs to the top rope and jumps off with the Mad Splash. It connects and CIMA hooks the leg for three.

CIMA pinned Joel Maximo with the Mad Splash in 0:08:44.
Rating: *** 3/4

CIMA has destroyed Joel Maximo in front of the eyes of one of his best friends, the Amazing Red. Red slides in the ring immediately to protect Joel from more damage and rushes at CIMA, but CIMA slides out of the ring. He shakes his head and starts to walk to the back, but Jerry Lynn runs down the aisle and attacks him! Lynn wails away at CIMA, who tries to fight back, but he's been caught by surprise. However, Red runs into the ropes and then jumps over the top rope, diving on both men with a running somersault plancha! Lynn's distracted by Red, allowing CIMA to pull Lynn in the way of the attack. Red and Lynn are both wiped out and CIMA staggers to the back. When he reaches the top of the ramp, he gives the "belt is mine" motion and points at Red, who tries to shake off the impact of the dive.

(The camera cuts to the back where the Dynasty is discussing things.)

CJ: I'm looking forward to tonight. Because not only is the Dynasty going to win, but I'm going to get revenge on that greasy Taz.

Christian: Hey, what's important is that tonight is the night we demoralize Benoit and Shamrock for good. They're running out of luck.

CJ: That's right, the Tag Team Titles are going to come home to the Dynasty. Just like the T.V. Title, right Rhyno?

Rhyno: ...

(Rhyno starts shaking.)

CJ: Uh...you okay?

Rhyno: Edge is going to die next week! I AM GOING TO GORE HIM IN HALF!

Christian: I like that energy. There is no way that this is not going to work out for us.

AS: We're the top of the sport for a reason. Maybe you'll get lucky once or twice. But over time, there is no way we can be beaten.

CJ: Exactly. And what Lance Storm is going to learn is that there's a reason it's only the four of us. And Lance, regardless of how many holds he knows, just can't cut it here.

Christian: It's not like you're a slouch either in the holds department.

AS: That's right. How many do you know? 1,005?

CJ: No, actually it's up to 1,389.

Christian: Really?

CJ: Yeah, let me show you one I learned recently.

(The camera cuts away as Jericho starts describing one of his newfound holds [armbar] and cuts back to the ring. "Bulls on Parade" by Rage Against the Machine plays as the Havana Pitbulls make their way to the ring. They've had good showings against Benoit and Shamrock as well as Mexico's Most Wanted, but came up on the losing end of both. With the Scramble next week, they're looking to get a big win tonight.

"Lounge Act" by Nirvana plays as the Young Lions run to the ring. They both jump on the apron before stepping through the ropes. They've had an uneven run as a team, though Christian York has had success as a singles wrestler. They lost the #1 contenders match to Styles and Christian some weeks ago and are looking to climb back up to that point.)

[The Havana Pitbulls vs. The Young Lions]

Reyes and Matthews start out. They lock up and Matthews immediately takes Reyes down with an armdrag. Reyes pops up, but Matthews hits him with a couple forearms, then whips him into the ropes, knocking him down with a dropkick. Matthews celebrates as Reyes gets to his feet. Matthews knocks Reyes back down with a spinning leg lariat, then gets up and tags in York. They bring Reyes up and slam him to the mat hard. Romero comes in, but receives a double hiptoss. York makes the cover as Romero slides out of the ring, but Reyes kicks out. York brings Reyes to his feet, but Reyes hits him hard in the chest with a chop. He adds another one and then brings York's head down and nails him with a series of knee strikes. He tags in Romero, who enters the ring. Reyes whips York into the ropes and punches him in the stomach as Romero comes off the ropes and blasts him with a lariat. Romero makes the cover, but Matthews makes the save. Matthews leaves the ring as Romero whips York into the corner. Reyes drops to the floor and pulls York to the mat by his ankles and then pulls him toward the ringpost. Romero runs in and hits a basement dropkick, which is immediately followed by Reyes pulling York crotchfirst into the post. Romero drags York out and goes for the cover, but the ref is busy admonishing Reyes. Matthews runs in and hits a legdrop to the back of Romero's head. Matthews leaves the ring as York drapes an arm over Romero. The ref counts, but only gets two. Both men get up and Romero hits York with a headbutt. He follows that with a chop, but York wakes up and hits Romero with an inverted atomic drop. Romero keels over in pain and York brings him down with a DDT. Both men are down and slowly crawl to their corners. Romero tags in Reyes, who comes in immediately, but he's still not in time to stop York from tagging in Matthews. Matthews hops over the top rope and brings Reyes down with spinning headscissors. Romero comes in and tries to hit Matthews with a lariat, but Matthews ducks under and brings him down with a back suplex. Reyes gets up and Matthews immediately snaps him down with a Frankensteiner. He holds him down, but Romero blasts him from behind with a kneesmash. Matthews falls over and Reyes gets up and lifts Matthews up, hitting a backbreaker. He holds him on his knee as Romero climbs to the top rope. Romero jumps off with the Cuban Missile Crisis and hits it! Reyes makes the cover as Romero knocks York out of commission with a high knee. Matthews is in no shape to kick out as the ref counts to three.

The Havana Pitbulls defeated the Young Lions when Reyes pinned Matthews after the Cuban Missile Crisis in 0:08:47.
Rating: **** 1/4

The Havana Pitbulls get a big win going into the scramble match. York enters the ring to check on Matthews, then shakes the hands of both Pitbulls. Romero tries to shake with Matthews, but he's still out of it. The Pitbulls then climb to the second turnbuckle and raise their arms in the air as the camera goes to a pre-taped vignette. Jake Roberts is sitting in a dimly-lit room with Halloween and Damien 666 standing behind him. A lightbulb is hanging from a chain that's swinging back and forth, constantly changing the lighting in the room.

JR: Quiet Storm...Tajiri...Trinity...I hope you're watching this right now...I want you to get real close to the TV because I'm going to do something I rarely do: apologize. You see two weeks ago, me and my boys here took you three out. Tajiri managed to stay standing for another week, but Quiet Storm and Trinity weren't so lucky. Perhaps we went overboard. In fact, I'm sure we did. While we're sharing, I'll let you know that a night hasn't gone by that I haven't woken up a cold sweat, reliving the brutality of the attack...the sickening thud of the steel chair as it wrapped around Trinity's soft head. The sight of her falling to the floor completely unable to protect herself. The sounds of Tajiri's screams as Damien flew off the ramp to send him hurtling through a table.

But I'm able to find succor in the fact that this is necessary. I've said all along that I will not allow my name to fade softly into the night. And history has shown that the best way to make yourself immortal is to perform the most egregious, unconscionable, abominable actions possible. Acts that will stay seared in the minds of any man who sees them. And I have two men behind me who agree with me...that permanence is worth more than my own sanity. Whether I can live with myself is of no importance...what is important is that the name of Jake Roberts remains remembered...that my life has meaning.

I've tried to live in order to fulfill my own happiness. But I've found that that's impossible. Because of who I am, what I've seen, where I've come from, concepts like happiness and piece of mind have no meaning to me. They're just words. But I will leave my mark. We will leave our marks. And I apologize to you three for what you have had to go through in order for us to achieve our goals. However, don't take that this is the end. Because at Fallout, you two face Mexico's Most Wanted. You may have deluded yourselves into thinking that this is what you want. But this is as far from what any rational person would wish as is possible. These men have no scruples about what they've done and what they will do in the future. I have attacks of conscience, but I press on for the greater goal. They, however, have no such problems. The pain...the torment that you have gone through will seem like a cool summer breeze compared to what's in store. So I apologize to you again beforehand because your careers will be irreparably damaged. Trust me...

(Roberts laughs evilly as the camera cuts back to the ring. "The Hollow" by A Perfect Circle plays as Lance Storm walks to the ring. He stretches his wrists as he walks down the aisle. He'll be facing Chris Jericho at Fallout, but he'd like to win the T.V. Title here, both for the title and to keep it out of the hands of the Dynasty. He rolls in the ring and stretches on the ropes.

"Ticks & Leeches" by Tool then plays as Edge comes out with the T.V. Title over his shoulder. He'll be defending the belt against Rhyno at Fallout if he can get past Storm. Edge has defeated all comers to the title so far, and he did pin Storm two months ago, though it took a hold of the tights. Storm is going to be prepared for that, so Edge might not be able to cheat his way out of the match. He slides under the ring and hands the belt to the ref. The bell then rings and the match is on.)

[Lance Storm vs. Edge]

They lock up and Storm goes behind Edge with a hammerlock. He trips Edge, sending him facefirst to the mat and immediately floats over, attempting to apply the Straight Shooter. Edge manages to squirm away however and both men get to their feet. Storm tries to lock up again, but Edge kicks him in the stomach to keel him over and then hits a big kneelift to take him to the mat. Storm rolls backward and reaches his feet, but before he can attempt anything, Rhyno runs in the ring and blasts Edge from behind! The ref immediately calls for the bell.

Edge defeated Lance Storm by disqualification in 0:02:21.
Rating: ** 1/4
(Edge retained the GWA T.V. Title.)
[Rhyno interfered against Edge.]

Rhyno has come in from behind and Edge and knocked him down to the mat. He starts to stomp away at him, but Storm stops it! Storm has his own issues with Rhyno and the rest of the Dynasty and starts firing away at Rhyno with punches. Rhyno looks to be staggered, but then he keels him over with a kneesmash and throws him out of the ring. Rhyno turns around and Edge tackles him, peppering him with right hands. They roll around, punching each other the entire time until they fall out of the ring. Edge lands hard and is slow to get up, allowing Rhyno to take a table out from under the ring and slide it into the ring. He pounds away on Edge's back some more and rolls him back into the ring. Rhyno then props the table up against the corner and brings Edge to his feet, but Edge punts him in the groin! Rhyno bounces around in pain as Edge measures him for the spear. He runs at Rhyno, but Rhyno manages to sidestep and throw Edge through the table! Edge collapses in the corner as Rhyno raises his arms in victory. He starts to go over to do more damage, but the GWA officials run out and put a stop to that.

A vignette then begins showcasing the feud between Christopher Daniels and Elix Skipper. Comments from each are interspersed throughout.

CD: When I came to the GWA, I had one goal only: to take this promotion by force...

ES: A while ago, I depended on other people to make my decisions. I was just a grunt...

CD: I wanted the North American Title. I wanted the T.V. Title. I wanted the Tag Titles...

ES: I did what Chris Daniels said, but I couldn't look myself in the mirror...

CD: I thought I found two other men who had the same goals I did. I was wrong...

(The camera focuses back on the ring as "Jesus Christ Pose" by Soundgarden plays as Chris Jericho, AJ Styles and Christian walk to the ring. Styles and Christian have a match for the Tag Team Titles next week at Fallout while Jericho will face Lance Storm in a grudge match. All three of these men are looking for momentum going into the PPV. They step through the ropes and discuss strategy for the match.

"Whatever" by Our Lady Peace then plays as the Tag Team champions, Chris Benoit and Ken Shamrock make their way down the aisle. They split singles matches with Styles and Christian last week, but a win here could give them valuable momentum for the title defense. They stop at the end of the ramp and the lights cut off. "Swamp Thing" by Juno Reactor then plays as Taz walks down the aisle with a towel over his head. Taz has a shot at the North American Title next week and has been fighting against the perception that he's mainly a brawler in the ring. He defeated Jericho last week, and Jericho is certainly looking for revenge.

Benoit and Shamrock enter the ring when Taz reaches them, but before the bell sounds, "Medal" plays as Kurt Angle walks to the entryway. He joins the announce table like last week, and also like last week, Doug Williams comes out to keep an eye on him.)

[The Dynasty vs. Chris Benoit, Ken Shamrock and Taz]

Christian and Shamrock start out. They've fought numerous times before and Shamrock is certainly looking for another opportunity. Christian, on the other hand is more cautious and tries to keep away. Shamrock charges at Christian and brings him down with a single-leg takedown, but Christian manages to roll free and get to his feet. Shamrock pops up and takes Christian back to the mat with an ipponzei and applies an armbar. Christian manages to reach his feet and breaks the hold by poking Shamrock in the eye. Shamrock staggers back and tries to attack again, but Christian pokes him in the eye again. Shamrock holds his eyes and Christian slaps him in the face, immediately perking Shamrock up. Shamrock hits Christian with a kneesmash and pops him with a series of forearms to the face. Christian takes a couple bumbling steps before falling to the mat. Shamrock tags in Taz, who comes in and stomps on Christian's head. He brings him up and whips him into the ropes, grabbing him and throwing him over his head with a waistlock suplex. Christian lands near the corner and tags in Jericho. Jericho steps through the ropes and locks up with Taz, putting him in a headlock. Taz pushes him back into the ropes and whips him, knocking him down with a lariat. Jericho pops up though and hits Taz with a chop, a punch to the face and a dropkick to knock him down. Jericho tags in Styles as Taz tags in Benoit. The two men lock up and Styles goes behind Benoit, but Benoit hits an elbow to break his grasp. He whips Styles into the ropes and pops him with a running elbowsmash. Christian comes in, but Benoit cuts him off with some chops. Christian falls down and rolls out of the ring, but this gives Styles enough time to regain his footing and nail Benoit with a dropkick. Benoit falls in a heap and Styles makes the cover, but only gets two.

He brings Benoit back up and snap mares him to the mat. He sits Benoit up before striking him hard in the back with a soccer kick, making Benoit fall to the mat in pain. He tags in Christian, who climbs to the top rope as Styles holds Benoit's legs. Christian comes off the top rope with a frog splash and covers upon impact. The ref starts counting, but Shamrock makes the save. Christian brings Benoit to his feet and smashes his head in the Dynasty turnbuckle. He walks over to the opposite corner and spits in Shamrock's face, making him enter the ring. The ref runs over to stop Shamrock as Christian comes back and starts choking Benoit as Styles and Jericho pelt him with body shots. Taz drops down to the floor and runs around the ring, pulling Jericho off the apron to the floor. He starts to punch Jericho, but Christian runs into the ropes and knocks him down with a baseball slide. Benoit collapses to the mat as Christian tags Styles back in. He slams Benoit to the mat as Styles comes in with a slingshot splash. Styles hooks the leg, but Shamrock comes in and pulls him off Benoit. The ref moves Shamrock out of the ring again, allowing Styles to choke Benoit some more. Styles tags in Jericho, who comes in and plays to the crowd before whipping Benoit into the ropes and hitting a flying forearm. He makes the cover, but Benoit gets a shoulder up. Jericho brings Benoit to his feet and goes for a suplex, but Benoit blocks it and hits a snap suplex to stun Jericho. He starts to crawl to his corner, but Styles comes in and stomps on Benoit's head before he gets too far. Styles returns to the corner as Jericho pulls Benoit toward him and covers for two. Benoit struggles to his feet and Jericho hits him with a chop, but Benoit responds with a chop of his own. Jericho reels back and Benoit adds more before Jericho pokes him in the eye to stop it. Jericho runs into the ropes for the killing blow, but Taz grabs him by the hair as he bounces off and pulls him to the mat! Jericho gets up quickly and argues with Taz, but Taz pops him in the face with a forearm. Jericho staggers back and Benoit grabs him from behind, hitting a release German suplex! He's in no position to take advantage and moves over to his corner. At this time, Kurt Angle says he's disgusted by what Taz did and leaves the announce table with Doug Williams close behind. Taz notices him and yells at him from afar.

Benoit gets to the corner and tags in Shamrock, who bursts in and takes Jericho down with a spear. Styles comes in, but Shamrock hits a belly-to-belly suplex to wipe him out. Christian tries to enter, but Shamrock hits a takeover suplex. He turns him over and goes for the Ankle Lock, but that allows Jericho to get up and hit him with an enzuigiri. Styles and Christian roll out of the ring as Jericho runs into the ropes and comes back with the Lionsault. It connects and Jericho hooks the leg, but Benoit pulls him off before three. Angle walks to ringside and taunts Taz, who's had enough of Angle. He drops from the apron and chases Angle back up the ramp. Benoit tries to get Taz to come back, but Jericho dropkicks him out of the ring, where Styles and Christian start stomping away at him. Jericho gloats, but he doesn't see Shamrock coming up from behind him. He turns around and Shamrock lifts him up for a takeover suplex, but Jericho rakes him in the eyes to make him drop him. Jericho quickly cradles Shamrock up and grabs hold of the tights to get the three.

The Dynasty (AJ Styles, Chris Jericho and Christian) defeated Chris Benoit, Ken Shamrock and Taz when Chris Jericho pinned Shamrock after an inside cradle in 0:11:57.
Rating: ** 1/2

Jericho and the Dynasty have just stolen one away from the tag champs and Taz! Jericho immediately leaves the ring as Shamrock starts to throw a fit. Jericho points to his head, but then flees into the crowd as Lance Storm runs down the aisle. Storm follows him and Shamrock notices that Styles and Christian are beating on Benoit. He leaves the ring to help and smacks Christian into the guardrail. Styles attacks him and there's a four-way brawl going on at ringside

Meanwhile, Taz chases Angle up the ramp until Angle abruptly stops and punches Taz in the face! He hits him with some more punches, but Doug Williams tackles him from behind. Williams puts Angle in a headlock and hits him with forearms, but Taz knocks Williams off with some stomps. He then attacks Angle, trying to put him in the Tazmission. Williams gets to his feet and blindsides Taz. They start brawling as Angle crawls away. He stands at the top of the ramp, looking at the chaos at ringside and laughs to close the show.

Either Taz is going to choke out Angle or Angle is going to break Taz's freakin' ankle. Either way their meeting is going to end in pain. Lots of pain.

Solid opening match. And Corino is right, it's a crime he's not on the PPV. Wow, Corino is going to remedy that HARDCORE!~ He's going to be the wrestling Jesus!

Haha, i enjoyed the part of Kanyon's promo where he challenges anyone... except Taz, Cima and MMW. :) Jerry Lynn is nothing to snuff at though as is shown with his victory tonight. Guess Kanyon needs to add another name to the "Do Not Challenge" list.

Tully Blanchard sure loves that jumbotron doesn't he :)

Good win for CIMA. Its not like he was going to lose this one, but still, good win.

Haha, love you revising that whole armbar bit from WCW. Classic. :)

Good cap to the program too. Too bad Taz, Benoit & Shammy couldn't keep it together in the end and overcome the Dynasty. Consider the Fire FEE-YULED! SNAP!

Good stuff

Angle must have something up his sleeve if he's willing to piss Taz off this much.

Storm sounds confident that he's winning the TV Title, but I don't see it happening.

Good win for Corino, who gets a lot of love on the TNM forums for sure.  I'm not huge on him, but I like the character.  I was with him until the God part though. :)

I'm still trying to figure out what it is Doug Williams wants.  Very intriguing... title shot seems too simple.

The Kanyon angle is very cool.  I really dig how he's not necessarily a bad guy and doesn't want to be walked over... he's just scared of crazy people.  Lynn gets all up in his bizzness, and we have a match.

And what a match it was.  Surprisingly good as Kanyon hasn't done much good in awhile.  Lynn gets sent to the back, and surprised he didn't try to kill CIMA.

Good title defense for Red over Deranged.  I'm shocked that these cruiserweights are showing such restraint thus far from killing each other.

There's that fight I was waiting for. :)  CIMA wins as expected as well, but the post-match stuff really keeps this whole angle heated.

The Jericho "armbar" promo is one of my favorite ever.  Glad to see it get some love here in GWA.

You certainly do get a lot of high rated matches.  Havana Pitbulls with a big win.  They have to figure into the tag title picture, and I'd guess sooner rather than later.

That was an amazing promo by Jake the Snake.  Is that from one of his old promos, or is that all you?  Because it's brilliant either way.  I may have to steal that concept at some point. :)

No TV Title win for Storm, but he looks good in kicking the crap out of Rhyno.  Nothing too bad for him I guess.  Edge looks good going into Fallout as well.

A good way to hype up Skipper/Daniels with neither man being at the show.  Well done video package there.

A chaotic way to end the show, but with all of those elements, it was hard to imagine it ending any other way.  Taz and Angle finally got a hold of each other.  Would have liked Williams to come off a little stronger there, but not worries.  PPV should be great.

Angle has a lot of balls to stand up to Taz like that, but then again if anyone could back it up, he could. The build towards that one continues.

Corinos final few words leaves a lot of intrigue. He's obviously going to do... something, I await with interest as to what that might be. When he says 'God', he won't come out in a robe and beard and actually pretend he's God will he?

That Kanyon skit was AWESOME! From the "have I locked my car" to "I fight anyone except the following:" and it probably made sense to the character that he lost to. If you get this one rolling, I expect plenty of victories though.

The cruiserweight scene spices up nicely with the Red/Lynn/CIMA stuff here. Funnily, I expect Red to come through it all.

ARMBAR! Excellent, a little wink-wink to what is one of the favourite promos for a lot of people.

You captured Jakes style VERY nicely here. Great promo.

Totally the right team won the main. Very chaotic at the end but it builds the interest for Fallout a little more. Nicely done show mang.

The GWA already footed the bill for the Jumbotron, so somebody should use it right?  :)

I'm still trying to figure out what it is Doug Williams wants.  Very intriguing... title shot seems too simple.
I'll say this. My original plan for Williams got shot completely to hell. So who knows what he wants now?

That was an amazing promo by Jake the Snake.  Is that from one of his old promos, or is that all you?
I wrote it. Jake and MMW's motivation is pretty much that they're trying to do as many things as possible in the time they have left to make sure they stay remembered. That promo turned out better than I thought it would. It sounded too much like Cactus Jack in my head.

When he says 'God', he won't come out in a robe and beard and actually pretend he's God will he?
Right now, it's more the wrestling variety. But if his ego isn't checked, he may try to become the Jehovah type too  :)
