It's an impressive amount of cards, truly, but without any comments on any of them, it's hard for us to care.  It's a bit underwhelming to just see a bunch of match results.  There may be angles there, but we're not in your head, so it leaves much for us to desire.  But congrats on a bulk of cards that big.

The cards and circuit definitely need some explanation behind them. To be honest,  a lot of the cards look almost like a simulation of the real results.

I concur.  Lots of matches, but thats all they are, matches.  As long as you enjoy it thats really what matters, but if you are looking for us to enjoy it to we'll need a little explination of whats going on :)

There's something to be said about simplistic circuits like this one.  It takes time to add all the "extra" commentaries, which is why you see me posting less and less of my circuits nowadays.  And just because there is no storylines associated to the matches, doesn't make them any less important.  I would say that for the larger cards (the PPVs/supershows), that it would be nice to see some comments about the card and it's results but for all the others, results work just fine.  That's also a reason why you should probably look at doing a "predictions" or "primer" post on your site's welcome.htm page before each big card, to give readers a reason to want to read the big card with some explanations of the "results only" cards.

All in all, I'd say you started with TNA's original start date and made it the AWA equivalent.  Nicely done.

While some commentary would be nice, the KISS approach is great, and more people should try it.  Here is how i've been doing it

Plus olivers circut is great.

I'm sure that he knows perfectly well what's going on and it's not just random chaos, but for those of us that don't live inside his brain, it's just results.  It's an impressive amount of shows and all, but there's nothing to care about other than it's a lot of shows.
AndrewAdonisPosted on 08/02/06 at 21:45:32

Commentary is too much. But for those who are interested, when I get some time I will go back over the PPV, supershows and some of the TV shows and add match observations.
Snabbit888Posted on 08/02/06 at 21:49:12

Some people don't like to use commentary, and that's cool.  Whatever you're comfortable with and helps you run the best circuit is all right with me.  I just wouldn't expect a lot of feedback on what you're doing or booking is all I'm saying. :)

I'm not trying to win a popularity contest. I just spent a lot of free time taking the TNA brand of wrestling and making it my own. I just wanted to share it with people. I didn't care if I got feedback or not. But you're right. Some people like the commentary some don't.  You have a good circuit going but to be honest, I don't want to sit there and read all that. But hey, we have didn't styles. Good luck with the rest of your circuit and have fun.
