Pre-Game Show Match
"The Teen Phenom" Ken Doane/"The Alabama Slamma" Hardcore Holly vs. MNM (w/ Melina)
Since MNM arrived on the scene in Global Championship Wrestling, they have been grating on the nerves of just about everyone, but none more so than Ken Doane and Hardcore Holly. Holly was brought back to GCW to whip Doane into shape, and he has done just that as the two have turned into a formidable team. The red carpet ushered Melina, Johnny Nitro, and Joey Mercury to the ring, but before they could get in the ring, Holly and Doane met them on the ramp and the match was on (though this did garner a good amount of boos from the male section of the crowd who was looking forward to Melina's ring entrance). This was your standard tag team fare with Holly playing Ricky Morton for the night. Holly's a tough old veteran though and wasn't about to let two young punks get the better of him as he ducked a double clothesline attempt and flattened both Nitro and Mercury with one of his own before tagging into Doane. Doane came in a ball of fire, nailing Nitro and Mercury with clotheslines and back elbows. Holly had recovered enough and he and Doane hit duel standing dropkicks. Holly picked Mercury up for the Alabama Slam, but Nitro managed to break it up with a chop block. Doane went for Mercury as Nitro threw Holly to the floor. Nitro hit Doane with a knee to the back as Melina directed them to promptly hit the Snapshot, which they did to pick up the victory.

MNM (Joey Mercury and Johnny Nitro) defeated Ken Doane and Hardcore Holly when Nitro pinned K. Doane after the Snapshot in 0:10:51.
Rating: ***

MNM stays undefeated in tag team action as they take another victory over Doane and Holly. Like MNM or not, they seem to be here to stay.

We're two weeks away from All Hallow's Eve, but the tricks and the trouble are here in spades! On tonight's huge show, 8 tremendous matches including 4 for championships! The feud between CM Punk and Christopher Daniels comes to a head as the two mortal enemies square off in a Dog Collar Match for the Television Title! Also, The World's Greatest Tag Team looks to regain the World Tag Team Titles as they take on the unexpected champions, Eric Angle and Rob Van Dam! Not only that, but Monty Brown, the North American champion for almost one year, puts his gold on the line against the man who feels he should have never lost the title in the first place, Lance Storm! And in our main event, we see the next chapter in the epic feud between Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle and Lesnar puts the World Heavyweight Title on the line in an I Quit match! I know it's been said before, but what a night this is going to be!

Match #1
North American Title Match
"The Alpha Male" Monty Brown (c) vs. Lance Storm
We kicked off the show with a bang as the ever-impressive Monty Brown defended the North American Title against Lance Storm. The history between these two is well documented, and this whole situation began because Storm, the former North American champion, feels he is still the rightful owner of that title as he was never beat for it, but rather was stripped of it after a major shoulder injury. Brown won a 16-man tournament with the finals being all the way last October at Trick or Trouble, and for almost a year has been dominant with this title. What both men would be trying to accomplish in this match was pretty obvious, but what resulted was an absolutely fantastic way and a great way to get this night started. Storm tried to work over the Alpha Male's arm, hoping to neutralize his ability to do the Pounce. Storm used a series of armbars and armlocks to wear down Brown's shoulder, but with as muscular as Brown is, it was not an easy task. That and in order to work over his arm, you have to get close to him, and that leaves you prone to Brown slamming you to the mat or tossing you around like a rag doll, which happened on more than one occasion. Brown managed to shake off the pain in his arm and nailed Storm with the Alpha Bomb, but as he made the cover, EDGE was down at ringside and put Storm's foot on the bottom rope. Brown was infuriated, and like the animal he is, jumped to the floor and chased Edge around the ring. Edge was scared to death, even running into the ring to get away. Brown followed it and sent Edge scurrying to the floor, but this allowed Storm to sneak up behind him and hit a small package. The element of surprise, plus Edge holding Brown's leg, allowed Storm to keep the Alpha Male's shoulders to the canvas for the 3. We have a brand new champion!

Lance Storm pinned Monty Brown after a small package in 0:13:19.
Rating: **** 1/2
(Lance Storm won the GCW North American Title.)

Monty Brown's year long reign as North American champion has come to an end as Lance Storm becomes the second two-time champion. Brown may no longer be the champ, but he did get a small measure of revenge as he caught Storm celebrating, threw him into the turnbuckle and blasted him with the Pounce, much to the delight of the fans in Chi-Town. A stellar match to get this show on the road.

KID KASH IS PISSED THAT HE'S NOT ON PPV
From the North American champion, we head to the Cruiserweight champion, Kid Kash, along with Lance Hoyt, who is standing by in the back with new backstage interviewer, Maria. Maria doesn't appear to be that bright as she asks Kash why he's so angry. This makes Kash even angrier as he tells Maria that as the greatest Cruiserweight champion that ever lived, he shouldn't be relegated to talking to a dumb bimbo like her. Instead, he feels, that he should be in the main event. Kash continues to put himself over when suddenly he flinches because something just flew in and hit him in the face. He tries to shake it off, but he gets hit again. Kash picks up a piece of what is hitting him and says, "What is this? SHRIMP!?" Indeed, it is shrimp. The camera pans over and we see SHARK BOY and D-RAY 3000 throwing shrimp at Kash! The crowd is popping huge for this as the camera pans back to Kash who commands Hoyt to go after them, but as Hoyt starts, he is suddenly nailed in the face by a giant fish! The crowd is in hysterics now as Shark Boy and D-Ray run away laughing as Kash and Hoyt are left covered in seafood. This is one of the stranger things I have ever seen, but one thing is for sure - Kid Kash is not going to be happy about this.

Match #2
Cage Match
"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles/"American Dragon" Bryan Danielson vs. "Primetime" Elix Skipper/Low-Ki
We knew it had to come sooner or later, but Elix Skipper and Low-Ki have finally had enough of each other, and there couldn't have been a worse place for it to all come to a head than in a steel cage locked in with AJ Styles and Bryan Danielson, two men who want nothing more than to kick your ass. The match started off as you would expect - highly aggressive. These are four of the top young prospects in all of wrestling, and Danielson and Low-Ki are two of the hardest hitters as well. Though Ki was pulled into this whole situation by his partner, but he's not one to shy away from a fight no matter who it's against. The crowd was dazzled by what these four talented competitors were able to do, using the cage as not only a weapon, but as a springboard to leap upon their opponents. The match got more and more exciting for the fans as each man tried to top the other all the way. At one point Skipper tried to backdrop Styles into the cage, but the Phenomenal One had the presence of mind to catch the cage. When Skipper turned around and saw this, he couldn't react in time as Styles jumped feet first onto the top rope, backflipped back, and nailed Skipper with an inverted DDT. Later on in the match, Danielson and Skipper had made their way to the top of the cage. It looked like Danielson was going to superplex Skipper, but Primetime elbowed his way out of it. AmDrag's tried to work his way away from Skipper after nailing Skipper with another forearm. Skipper recovered however, tight roping his way on top of the cage and taking Danielson down with a huracanrana! This garnered a huge "HOLY SHIT!" chant from the fans, and deservedly so. At that point though, Skipper was too hurt to capitalize and was set up for the Styles Clash. Low-Ki went to break it up, but when he saw Skipper in a precarious position, he uncharacteristically smiled and invited Styles to go ahead. Styles executed the move and in a brutal affair, he and AmDrag had won.

No-Countout-No-DQ-Cage Match:
AJ Styles and Bryan Danielson defeated Elix Skipper and Low-Ki when Styles pinned Skipper with the Styles Clash in 0:09:50.
Rating: *** 3/4

It looks like this one can finally be put to rest as Styles and Danielson have extracted their revenge on Elix Skipper. After Styles and Danielson left the ring, Low-Ki waited on Skipper to get up. Skipper came to and realized what had happened, yelling at Low-Ki. Skipper took a wild swing at Low-Ki, who ducked and smashed Skipper hard in the head, knocking him into the ropes. Skipper bounced back out as Ki scooped him up for the Ki Krusher, dropping him to the canvas and putting the exclamation point on the end of their partnership.

Match #3
Dog Collar Match for the Television Title
CM Punk (c) (w/ Daffney & Shaniqua) vs. "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels
This match had been in the works since January when CM Punk, then Christopher Daniels' "leader," excommunicated the Fallen Angel from the Prophecy after Daniels' tore his left triceps. Punk forced Daniels to wrestle in a match against him, and thus Punk stole his Television Title. Daniels returned in July to cost Punk his shot at the North American Title, sending the believer in the Straight Edge through a fire table. Since then, the two have engaged in several battles, both in the ring and outside of it, and it all came to a head here tonight in this GCW first, dog collar match. The rules of this match were simple: no countouts, no disqualifications, both men with dog collars around their necks connected with a chain. Anything goes, and everything did go. Within the first couple of minutes, both men had been busted open thanks to the chain. Midway through the match, THE BASHAM BROTHERS came down to the ring, but Punk defiantly told them to go to the back. He wanted to do this himself.

Though you have to give credit to Punk for wanting to fight this match man to man, it almost came back to bite him in the ass when he got tangled in the chain and Daniels crotched him with it while Punk was sending the Bashams away. The Fallen Angel went on the offensive, wrapping the chain around his fist and pounding Punk with it. He then wrapped the chain around Punk's neck and hung him over the top rope. Daniels dragged Punk back into the ring. At this point Shaniqua jumped in to save Punk, but once again, Punk waved violently for Shaniqua to get out of the ring. Even Daniels was confused by this, but he wasn't about to ask questions. Daniels perhaps could have put this match away, but he chose to keep attacking Punk, which ended up coming back to haunt him as Punk whipped the Fallen Angel across the midsection with the chain as Daniels ran in for an avalanche. From there, Punk grabbed a chair that Daffney slid into the ring and blasted Daniels with it, crashing it on his head with a sickening thud. A bloody Punk locked on the Anaconda Vice. At this point Daniels was completely unconscious and referee Antonio Santangelo had no other recourse than to call this match to protect Daniels' health.

Dog Collar No-Countout-No-DQ-Match:
CM Punk defeated Christopher Daniels when Christopher Daniels passed out in the Anaconda Vice in 0:11:25.
Rating: **** 1/4
(CM Punk retained the GCW Television Title.)

The crowd may not have enjoyed the outcome of this contest, but both men were given a wonderful ovation for how much they were willing to put their bodies on the line. CM Punk retains the Television Title and for now, it looks like this one can be put to rest.

FRANKIE KAZARIAN WANTS A PIECE OF EDDIE GUERRERO
Before his match with Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit was backstage with Frankie Kazarian. Kazarian's arm was taped up after what Guerrero did to him last Monday, and he was stewing with anger. "I want a piece of Guerrero's ass, and I want it TONIGHT!" Benoit settled Kazarian down, saying that he didn't want him getting involved tonight. "Guerrero and I go way back, and I've never seen him like this. I am going to make him come to his senses if I have to beat him out of it." Kazarian protested, but Benoit told Kazarian to stay in the back, and let him take care of this. Kazarian begrudgingly agreed as the Crippler headed to the ring.

Match #4
"The Crippler" Chris Benoit vs. "Latino Heat" Eddie Guerrero
We fully expected this one to be a wrestling classic, and these two ring generals didn't disappoint at all. Benoit and Guerrero had something to prove. For years these two superstars' careers have mirrored each other, and there has been much debate over who is the better man. Usually Latino Heat will try to lie, cheat, and steal his way to victory, but that wasn't on the docket tonight as his stubborn pride made him wrestle this match clean as a whistle. This match reminded us all something about Guerrero that we often overlook. Guerrero is a talented enough wrestler that he doesn't NEED to cheat, he just does. There was way too much action in this match to describe it all. The fans in this match were unique too. It was almost like watching a match in Japan. The fans were very much into it, but they didn't make a lot of noise. They just sat there and absorbed the great match that Benoit and Guerrero were giving them. Both men had to pull out everything in their arsenal because their normal assortment of moves weren't working due to the familiarity between the two. Latino Heat almost got the victory when he put Benoit in the Lasso From El Paso, but the Rabid Wolverine got himself to the ropes to break it up. For the first time in the match, Eddie began to lose his cool, storming to the top for the Frog Splash when perhaps it wasn't time for it. Benoit saw him coming and moved out of the way, but Guerrero had the wherewithal to turn it into a somersault to prevent himself from splattering on the canvas. However, Benoit acted fast to take Guerrero down and put him in a scorpion deathlock. Latino Heat clawed to get himself to the ropes, but Benoit pulled him back to the center of the ring and sat back on it, earning the submission victory.

Chris Benoit made Eddie Guerrero submit to a scorpion deathlock in 0:12:10.
Rating: *** 3/4

The fans showed their approval for Benoit by giving him a standing ovation. After the match, a tired Benoit and a still wounded Guerrero engaged in a staredown. The tension was thick until the Crippler extended his hand out of respect. Eddie teased shaking it a couple of times, but he waved it off and left the ring in disgust, accompanied by the jeers of the fans. Despite that sour note, what a wonderful contest between two of the best of all time.

RANDY ORTON HAS SOME OMINOUS WORDS FOR ALL OF GCW
Before our next contest, we got some pre-recorded comments from Randy Orton. Orton certainly has a different demeanor to him these days, as his previous cocky attitude has been usurped a bit by more of a menacing one. Orton's words were straight and to the point, saying before the end of the night, he will have made a huge impact. He left it at that, but a lot of people are left curious as to what he means.

Match #5
Loser-Leaves-Town Match
Matt Hardy (w/ Mickie James) vs. "The Rated R Superstar" Edge (w/ Lita)
The stakes don't get any higher than this. You either win the match or you go home forever. That is what Matt Hardy and Edge had ahead of them as the loser would have to pack his bags and leave Global Championship Wrestling. The atmosphere was electric as these two put it all on the line for this match. Like two gladiators, Hardy and Edge exchanged blows right from the opening bell. Hardy is known for being a bit of a daredevil, but he was in rare form tonight as he tried to eliminate Edge from our televisions. Early in the match, Edge tried to take a powder to the floor to catch his bearings, but Hardy didn't give him any room to breathe as he jumped on him with a plancha. Lita came around to get involved, but she was held at bay by Mickie James, who dared Lita to try her. After slamming Edge into the steps, Hardy brought the match back into the ring. Edge got a lot of offense in himself, but nothing either man did could put this one on ice. Edge's Edge-o-Matic was unsuccessful. Hardy's Side Effect also couldn't do the trick. Hardy established a lot of momentum late when he hit a floating neckbreaker on Edge and tossed him to the floor. Hardy went to the top looking to jump on Edge, but when Hardy leapt, Mickie James... pulled Edge out of the way? What in the world? Could that have been an accident? Edge rolled back into the ring slowly and had the attention of referee Petey Pluck while Mickie James went over to Hardy to apologize. But when Hardy let his guard down, Mickie reared back and kicked Hardy below the belt! What is going on here!? Hardy slowly made his way back to the ring, but he was holding his groin in intense pain. When he finally got to his feet, Edge hit a Northern Lights suplex to get the 1-2-3. Much like Hardy's brother before him, Matt Hardy must leave GCW.

Loser-Leaves-Town Match:
Edge pinned Matt Hardy after a Northern Lights suplex in 0:09:30.
Rating: *** 3/4

Edge, Lita, and Mickie James all shared in a laugh as they left the ring together. Hardy came to his feet and realized that his girlfriend (or I'd assume ex-girlfriend now) screwed him over. Hardy was overcome with a little emotion as it set in that this would be the last time he'd ever be in a GCW ring. He got on the microphone and thanked the fans for their support and said goodbye for the last time. I hope Mickie James is proud of herself.

Match #6
World Tag Team Title Match
Eric Angle/"The Whole F'n Show" Rob Van Dam (c) vs. The World's Greatest Tag Team
Eric Angle and Rob Van Dam won the World Tag Team Titles from Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin back at Summer Sizzler, but the WGTT had no way to prepare for RVD as he was brought in as a mystery partner, returning from major neck surgery that sidelined him for a year. Haas and Benjamin could better prepare this time, and that preparation time really paid off. Angle and RVD have gotten better as a team, but their inexperience as a team was exploited by the WGTT, whom may be the best team of the past 10 years. Haas and Benjamin fired on all cylinders tonight and although the champs stayed in it, they were wrestling more as individuals while the WGTT were wrestling as a team. That teamwork paid off as RVD was caught by Benjamin and the T-Bone and we had new World Tag Team champions.

The World's Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin) defeated Eric Angle and Rob Van Dam when S. Benjamin pinned RVD with the T-Bone in 0:11:47.
Rating: *** 1/2
(The World's Greatest Tag Team won the GCW World Tag Team Titles.)

For the fourth time, Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin are sitting atop the tag team mountain in Global Championship Wrestling. Eric Angle and Rob Van Dam had a nice ride at the top, but all good things must come to an end. After Haas and Benjamin had left with their titles in tow, Angle and RVD made sure they were both on the same page as they shook hands. It looks like they'll be on the look out to get those titles back, but for now, the World's Greatest Tag Team are riding high once again.

Match #7
Number-One-Contenders Match
Abyss vs. John Bradshaw Layfield (w/ Lamont)
This was a rematch from Super Cade II as Abyss and John Bradshaw Layfield met again on pay-per-view, but this time the winner would walk away as the top contender for the World Heavyweight Title. Much like the last match, JBL was tentative about locking horns with Abyss, but he was a little more willing to throw himself out there with a shot at the World Title up for grabs. Not a pretty match as you might expect, but it's not often that you get two powerhouses like this locking up. As the match continued, JBL found that he was having more and more success, and this made him more willing to go all out and fight Abyss, which led to an awesome brawl. With the number-one-contendership up for grabs, referee JD Sanders let more things slide, letting these two fight on the outside more liberally. Ring announcer William Buck was almost killed when Abyss threw JBL onto the table. This battle raged on as these two beast continually clobbered each other. JBL showed some impressive strength when he hit Abyss with the Last Call. JBL measured Abyss for the Stock Market Crash, but Abyss moved out of the way and JBL beheaded JD Sanders. We were now without a referee, which meant bad news. Almost like it was rehearsed ahead of time, Lamont saw that the referee was down, grabbed a chair, and slid it into the ring. JBL grabbed it and measured the Monster, but when he charged at Abyss, the behemoth got his leg up and smashed the chair back into JBL's face! The crowd popped huge as now Abyss was on the offensive and JBL was bleeding profusely from the head. Abyss looked poised to hit the Black Hole Slam when RANDY ORTON ran in from the crowd and planted Abyss with the R.K.O.! This must have been the impact that Orton had been talking about earlier. Orton jumped out of the ring as JBL made the cover, but the time it took JBL to make the cover coupled with the groggy state of Sanders allowed Abyss to kick out just in time! Abyss may have kicked out of that one, but JBL's Stock Market Crash was a different story. Game, set, match.

Number-One-Contenders-Match:
John Bradshaw Layfield pinned Abyss with the Stock Market Crash in 0:15:47.
Rating: *** 3/4

Randy Orton watched from the aisle with a sadistic smile on his face as the bloody JBL had his hand raised. JBL is now the number-one-contender for the World Heavyweight Title. Abyss was slow to get to his feet as he absorbed a lot of punishment, but he did manage to point up at Orton, a clear sign of his intentions. Orton didn't flinch as he stared Abyss down. We haven't seen the last of this one, not by a long shot.

BROCK LESNAR IS READY FOR THE I QUIT MATCH
Before our main event, the World Heavyweight champion had a few words for everyone, namely Kurt Angle. Lesnar said that you can call him a lot of things and a lot of those things would be true, but one thing you can never call him is a quitter. He promised that his reign with the World Heavyweight Title has just begun and that when this night is over and the dust settles, he will still be the World Heavyweight champion and Angle will say "I quit!"

Match #8
MAIN EVENT
I Quit Match for the World Heavyweight Title
Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Kurt Angle
This was the match we were all waiting for as it was the rematch from the Super Cade II main event. Brock Lesnar's World Heavyweight Title reign has been a success so far, but these I Quit stipulations certainly played right into the hands of the challenger, Kurt Angle. Lesnar and Angle had tons to prove in this match. There is no worse fate to suffer as a professional wrestler than having to say "I quit" but that's exactly what somebody was going to do here. This wasn't exactly the match that the fans expected but we did get a mat classic. Lesnar and Angle alike were looking to make the other submit so much of this match was wrestled on the mat. Lesnar, a former collegiate wrestling champion himself, had some problems with this style because there's no one better on the mat than Kurt Angle. You could see Lesnar's frustration building as Angle continually got the better of him in all exchanges on the mat. Lesnar's legs took quite a bit of abuse before the Monster From Minnesota realized that if he was going to win this match, he was going to have to change his strategy. After all, in an I Quit match, you don't necessarily have to make your opponent tap out in a submission hold. You can beat him to the point where he can't continue as well. That's where Lesnar took this match next, and it was apparent that this is where he held the edge. Angle is well-rounded, but Lesnar is an absolute beast and he proved it with the various suplexes he gave Angle.

Later in the match, Lesnar and Angle took the fight to the floor where Angle got the upperhand by whipping Lesnar hard into the steps, causing Brock to fly all the way over them. Angle took this time while Lesnar was down to clear the announce table. He grabbed Lesnar and set him up for the Angle Slam through the table, but Lesnar slid out of it and hit an overhead belly-to-belly suplex on Angle right through the table! At this point, Angle may have wanted to quit, but he was unable to speak because he was completely wiped out. Lesnar brought Angle back into the ring where he continued to punch away at Angle's face. But to Angle's credit, he just wouldn't give up, riding the storm until he found his opportunity to turn the tide when he avoided a legdrop and quickly put on the Ankle Lock! The fans were on the edge of their seats as Lesnar fought with all of his power to get out of hold, but he couldn't seem to shake it. Angle kept torquing the ankle as hard as he could, getting more and more peeved as Lesnar refused to give it up. Lesnar got his way to the ropes but Angle wouldn't release the hold (nor did he have to as it was no disqualification). Lesnar crawled his way up, got upright, and rolled forward to send Angle face first into the turnbuckles. Lesnar tried to shake off his bum leg, before charging in for an avalanche. Angle moved away though and once again got the Ankle Lock on. Lesnar again screamed out in pain. The fans were standing now, worried that their champion wouldn't be able to withstand a second Ankle Lock, but yet again, Lesnar wouldn't give up. Again Lesnar got to his feet, but Angle preventing him from rolling forward. So instead, Lesnar surprised everyone by hitting an enzuigiri. Angle faceplanted onto the canvas. Lesnar need some time to recover, but he appeared to have knocked Angle loopy. Lesnar crawled over to Angle and slowly locked him into the Brock Lock. The crowd was in chaos now as Lesnar pulled back on the hold. Angle held on for as long as he could, but as Lesnar pulled back further and further, Angle couldn't hold it in anymore as he yelled out, "I quit!"

No-Countout-No-DQ-I-Quit Match:
Brock Lesnar made Kurt Angle submit to the Brock Lock in 0:26:39.
Rating: *** 1/4
(Brock Lesnar retained the GCW World Heavyweight Title.)

Chicago, Illinois blew the roof off of the place as Brock Lesnar had did what many thought couldn't happen and made the former Olympic champion say, "I quit." Our show came to an end as Lesnar limped to his feet. Jimmy Appleseed handed over the World Heavyweight Title which Lesnar held high above his head as we went off the air.

Storm regains his title.. not long ago, Storm was about to retire. Now he's sent Jericho packing, AND regained his title.. not bad for an old-ish man.

Shark Boy and D-Ray are hilarious together. If you've watched BCW's Appreciation for Sabu, you'll know what I'm talking about. Pure gold as D-Ray tries to imitates the leap from the chair trick and falls every time.

I'm back in the prediction game after Triple X breaks up and Punk takes it. Great for Punk's career, but where does this leave Daniels methinks?

Matt leaves, as expected. Does this mean the Hardy Boyz are reunited in TNA? And Matt really needs to pick his women more wisely from now on.

I only missed Lance Storm.. damn, I'm quite good.. you too sir.. great PPV... looking forward to the JBL vs Lesnar program, and where certain other wrestlers are headed next... Angle and Daniels being two of them.
