Norman "The Smile" Smiley vs. "The Alpha Male" Monty Brown

Smiley had a busy week last week first finding out that imitation sometimes is not the best form of flattery as the Rock laid Smiley out with the "People's Elbow", then Stuck his nose into the main event that may have cost Samoa Joe the title. Christian Cage & Sting vs. Bull Buchanan & Konnan

There was no real history between these 4 guys but you couldn't tell by the action in the ring. Cage and Konnan seemed to have issues as they jawed at each other all match. After the match as Sting and Cage played to the crowd Scott Steiner interrupted the celebration by sliding in the ring. Konnan distracted Cage while Steiner laid into Sting. Steiner looked good for someone who hurt his back a few weeks ago but after a few kicks and slams Sting was put in the Steiner recliner in till cage was able to get back into the ring. Steiner slid out the side and held up his hand as Cage checked up on Sting.

Well, taking up Snabbit's challenge, I chose your TNA circuit because I think there's a lot of potential there, but that the real TNA falls through pretty much.

I take it you run mostly (if not all) unbooked? Seeing as A1 is the champ and all...

The Good: Impact getting a longer timeslot. 1,5 hours, is it? Enough time to get your storylines across and to avoid too many squash matches.

Your style is easy to follow, you don't get drowned in too much text, while still able to get a picture of the match (I know I tend to drown my readers from time to time... just can't help it).

Tag division stronger than ever with the Hardy Boyz in the mix as well. Have you broken up LAX? Seeing as Konnan tags with Buchanan? Either way, putting Homicide in the X-Division and having him beat Senshi for it gets a bonus point in my book. Not only because of the history between Low-Ki and Homicide (which you could possibly have played at some more... they have been allies in RoH and are trainer and student), but because Homicide deserves more than tagging along with Konnan. The only problem I see is that he's probably not as well-known as Senshi and Joe (for the TNA crowd at least), and may have gotten the title a tad early.

The bad: Even though I suspect it's unbooked, A1 as the champ doesn't make sense at all. He's probably the blandest among Team Canada, and would have been chucked out the door at once if I were in charge of TNA.

A 3 minute main event is also not good in my eyes, but if you do run unbooked (and not willing to use the C or the R button), there's really not much you can do. Hopefully, Raven or someone else can take the belt away from him sooner rather than later.

The Ugly: You had quite a few spelling mistakes that made it a little hard to follow, like consistently misspelling Tenay Tanay, tense endings mixed up, random words being capitalized and so on.
dabirdmanPosted on 07/26/06 at 09:41:39

First of all I want to thank you for your comments and believe me i do not take anything personal.

The Circuit runs I would say is 95% booked. The 1st 2 cards were unbooked as to see what TNM would give me to work with, I.E A1 as Champ.

Thanks for the complement on the recap style as it has taken many tries to get it to a format I believe gives enough information and not bore the reader with information.

To tell you the truth I did not know the history of Senshi and Homicide till now, and i will try to play it up more as the circuit continues. I have plans for Samoa Joe so having him win the X title now didn't work into the mix.

LAX are still together but there not. With Homicide running solo in the X division I have Konan and Machete team sometimes but in this match Konnan teamed with Buchanan.

The 3 minute Main event was not by choice. I gave TNM who I wanted to win and they decided how and when.

On the spelling mistakes I have no excuse then bad proof reading. I write most of this up at work when most of humanity is in bed. I will make the effort to correct the issues.

Again thanks for your comments and I hope you continue to read.
