WWA KICKOFF PARTY !!!  SEPTEMBER 3, 2005
LIVE FROM THE WOLSTEIN CENTER IN CLEVELAND, OHIO

The crowd is sold out and on their feet and they are greeted by the CEO Of the brand new World Wrestling Alliance, THE ENFORCER, ARN ANDERSON!!!

AA:  Welcome everyone.  This is the brand new, World Wrestling Alliance!!  (Crowd Erupts in applause)  We got a roster of wrestling's top superstars in the back, ready to do battle.   And I like to introduce one of the WWA's biggest signings.  I'm sure this man will be right up among the top contenders when it comes time to crown the WWA Champion.  He is , THE HEART BREAK KID!!! SHAWN MICHAELS!!!

The crowd gives a huge ovation as HBK makes his way to the ring.  Before HBK can get far into his speech, he's interrupted by the music of the rated R Superstar, Edge, and the little hooker he calls a girlfriend, Lita.

EDGE:  I was just sitting in the back, and couldn't believe what I was hearing.  You?? A top contender?  What a joke.  I look around the locker room.  And there is simply no body, that is even in my league.  You can talk all you want, about wanting the belt.  But you better believe.  That when the smoke clears,  the gold will be around my waist.

HBK and Edge continue a face to face confrontation, but it didn't last long, as coming from over the security barrier and into the ring, is the Big Show.  The Big Show blindslides Shawn Michaels and it becomes a three on one, with Edge, lita, and The Big Show, all take turns beating up HBK.

After a quick break, we are ready for our first match.

CHRISTIAN CAGE VS MIKE KNOX W/ KELLY

This match was really no contest.  Christian showcased that is by far the superior wrestler, and even fought off an attempted interference by Kelly, to claim the win.

Christian Cage pinned Mike Knox after a frog splash in 0:04:40.
Rating: ** 1/2

Following the match, Shawn Michaels is in the back looking for Edge and the Big Show. He catches up with them in the locker room and a brief scuffle ensue and the three are separated by WWA officials.  Before HBK left, he challenges Edge and the Big Show to a tag match tonight, against him and a mystery partner.  Edge accepts and we have our main event for tonight.

Back in the ring, we are joined by Lance Storm and Justin Credible. The Impact players have reunited in WWA and have their sights set on ruling the tag team division.  They then go on to challenge any two wrestlers to a tag match, right here and now.  And they are greeted by two men, who maybe one of the more unusual combinations.

THE IMPACT PLAYERS VS NEW JACK & THE SANDMAN

The unlikely combo of New Jack and the Sandman caught the Impact Players off guard early on in the match. In typical New Jack fashion, weapons were everywhere, The Sandman caned Storm and it looked like this duo would pull off the upset.  However the tides turned when New Jack missed a diving splash through a table, allowing a double team on the Sandman.  After it was all said and done, it was the Impact Players coming away with the victory.

The Impact Players (Lance Storm and Justin Credible) defeated
New Jack and The Sandman when Credible pinned Sandman with the That's Incredible
in 0:25:17.

SABU VS ROB VAN DAM

This next match was a showcase for the fans.  Two of the top athletes in the world, each laying in all on the line, for virtually nothing.  In a back and forth match, Sabu ended up picking up the win.

Sabu pinned Rob Van Dam with the Triple Jump Moonsault in 0:14:23.

BOOKER T VS JEFF JARRETT

Booker T defeated Jeff Jarrett by disqualification in 0:05:04.
Rating: *** 1/4

[Gail Kim interfered against Booker T.]

Our next two matches were matches specializing in brutality that CEO Anderson put on the card, not only for fan enjoyment, but to see who was tough enough to be apart of the WWA

BARBED WIRE MATCH
CARLITO VS CHRIS MASTERS

Well, this was supposed to be Carlito vs Chris Masters, but the Masterpiece felt an athlete of his caliber should not be subjected to barbed wire.  He stood at the top of the ramp in his street clothes, as he announced he will not be participating in this match. Instead, he is sending out Rene Dupree to take his place. But that didn't stop Masters from having an impact in the match.  After several minutes of blood and ripped flesh by both Carlito and Dupree, it was a chair shot from Masters, that set up Dupree to get the win.

Barbed Wire Match:
Rene Dupree pinned Carlito after a flying forearm in 0:09:22.
Rating: **
(Chris Masters no-showed.)

STRETCHER MATCH
JEFF HARDY VS MATT HARDY

I don't know what sick, twisted part of his mind, AA came up with this match at, but apparently some hostility still resided in these two brothers and that led to a brutal stretcher match.

Stretcher Match:
Jeff Hardy defeated Matt Hardy in 0:09:53.
Rating: ** 1/4

RAVEN VS SHELTON BENJAMIN

This match was all Raven in the beginning, but Benjamin was able to reverse the tide midway through of the match thanks to a kick to Raven's crotch. Raven began making a comeback, but then we had the shocking appearance of the Franchise, Shane Douglas.  It looked like he was coming to the aid of Benjamin when he attacked Raven with a chair. But then he went on to attack Shelton as well.  An equal opportunity ass kicker.  Raven was able to recover first and hit Benjamin with a powerbomb to get the win.

Raven pinned Shelton Benjamin after a power bomb in 0:11:55.
Rating: *** 3/4
[Shane Douglas interfered against Raven.]
[Shane Douglas interfered against Shelton Benjamin.]

The Franchise wasn't done. After the match, he cleared the ring of both men.

DOUGLAS:  The Franchise has arrived. It doesn't matter who it is, that stands in my way.  I am the Franchise, this company, belongs to me.

EDGE & THE BIG SHOW VS SHAWN MICHAELS & MYSTERY PARTNER

It's time for the main event, and also time for Shawn Michaels to reveal his mystery partner.  The look on Edge's face was priceless, when HBK brought out, the one, the only, The LEGEND KILLER!! RANDY ORTON!!!

The match was a back and forth war for most part.  Edge and Michaels paired off and started beating the hell out of each other.  Tag Rules flew out the window.  Orton and the Big Show were the legal men, yet fighting on the outside.  This actually proved to be the downfall of Orton, as the Big Show was able to use his size to over power Orton, and then finish him off with a chokeslam through the announce table. The Big Show got back in the ring and Orton was counted out.  The show ends as Big Show and Edge celebrate, as HBK checks over a hurt Orton.

Edge and The Big Show defeated Shawn Michaels and Randy Orton when Edge
defeated R. Orton by countout in 0:08:26.
