GLWF Action TV: 8/13/05...

americamamushiPosted on 06/24/06 at 05:53:24

Welcome to GLWF Action TV!  We're coming to you live from the GLWF Facilities in Kalamazoo, Michigan and we've got a packed house for Action TV tonight folks.  Lets get things started right away as Los Corazones Negroes are already in the ring.

Shocker starts out by saying that he feels mixed emotions tonight.  On the one hand he's proud to announce that GLWF brass have given any two members of Los Corazones Negros a chance at the tag team titles.  But he's not happy that they've got to win a #1 contender's match against Shannon Moore and Josh Abercrombie tonight first.  Shocker states that this is another example of America trying to hold down Latinos.  Los Corazones Negros deserve to just be given the title shot, Shocker feels they've more than proven that they deserve it, but that thanks to the racism that runs rampant in this country that they get road blocks thrown in there way to try and keep them from the championship.  Shocker says that originally he had his eyes set on the tag team titles, but now he's going to turn his attention to singles gold and give Garza and Mistico the #1 contender match.  Garza lets everyone know that he and Mistico are going to tear through their opponents tonight and show them why they should fear the luchadore invasion.  Mistico wraps things up by yelling out "¡Somos los rudos número uno! ¡Usted no es listo para los corazones negros!"

Samoa Joe vs. "Savage" Siaki

Samoa Joe gave one look of disgust at Siaki before the match started and immediately seemed to take months of aggression at Michael Shane and dashed title hopes out on Siaki.  Now, Siaki may have lost his mind a bit, but to his credit, this bit of insanity has made him a much better, more aggressive presence in the ring.  However, he just couldn't get a move in edgewise against Joe, though there are probably few that could've.  Joe eventually ended things with a huge STK for the three.

Samoa Joe pinned Siaki after an STK in 0:04:47.

#1 Contender Match: Shannon Moore & Josh Abercrombie vs. Los Corazones Negros (Hector Garza & Mistico)

Shannon Moore just wasn't in a mood to play nice with his partner Josh Abercrombie tonight.  It seemed like Moore was afraid Abercrombie would screw things up for him, after all, a tag title shot is a big deal, something that could put Moore back on GCW's radar.  Things seemed pretty even for the first half of the match, then a mistake from Moore let open the flood gates on Josh Abercrombie, who at the time was the legal man.  Garza & Mistico kicked it up about 50% more and really laid into Abercrombie with quick tags and typical rudo double teams.  Abercrombie was trying as hard as he could, but he was essentially fighting two men at once.  Moore kept tried to intervene, but was stopped by the ref.  Garza knocked Moore of the apron with a dropkick, then jumped onto him with a plancha as Mistico ran into the ropes and on the way back took Abercrombie down with La Mistica and quickly proceeded to try and rip Abercrombie's arm off, forcing him to submit.  Moore is still a bit out of it on the floor after getting nailed by Garza, but you can guarantee that he's gonna be super pissed when he's a bit more lucid.

[#1 Contender's Match]:
Los Corazones Negros (Hector Garza and Mistico) defeated Shannon Moore and Josh Abercrombie when Mistico made J. Abercrombie submit to the La Mistica in 0:10:05.

Austin Aries is already in the ring.  He, nor anyone else know who his opponent will be in this, his first Television title defense.  Suddenly, Samoa Joe's music hits and he emerges from the curtain.  Austin Aries doesn't want to have anything to do with this anymore.  Joe has a microphone and tells Aries not to mess himself because he's not his opponent for tonight.  His opponent is someone who Joe has a lot of faith in though and someone Joe thinks will become the next Television champion.  Here is, making his GLWF debut... Gunner Scott!

Main Event Television Title Match: Gunner Scott vs. Austin Aries (c)

Gunner Scott started off strong and hard, hitting Aries with just about everything in his play book, suplexing him around the ring, hitting slams, punches, kicks, clotheslines, eventually causing Aries to get fed up and head for cover on the outside.  After the ref got to 4 Gunner followed him out and ran at him, but Aries ducked and sent Gunner into the ringpost.  This garnered Aries a bit of control, which after sending Scott back into the ring got him a two count after a reverse neckbreaker and again after a brain buster.  While Aries was on top of things Traci Brooks made her way down to ringside all by herself seemingly to cheer on her fellow Age of Shane member.  Things evened out a little then with some nice give and take and a rest holds in pretty much the right places.  Toward the end of the match Scott drew his thumb across his neck in Benoit like fashion and whipped Aries into the ropes.  When he came back Scott tossed Aries over his head with a huge Belly-to-belly suplex!  Traci distracted the ref as Scott goes for the pin, allowing Michael Shane to run down to the ring.  Scott doesn't see him as his attention is turned to Traci and the ref.  Shane is waiting for Scott to turn around... and here comes Joe!  Joe slides in.  Shane sees him and goes for a superkick, but Joe catches him!  Capture suplex on Shane!  Burchill hits the ring and starts brawling with Joe!  Aries and Scott are brawling!  The ref notices the commotion and throws out the match!  Now Michael Shane is helping Burchill put the hurt on Joe and Aries seems to be getting the better of Scott... and out comes Roadkill!  Burchill hits his attention to Roadkill and is met with hard rights, Roadkill send him into the ropes... Dirt Road Slam!  Joe gets the upperhand on Shane and hits an STK!  Shane and Burchill roll out of the ring and regroup on the outside.  Scott now is getting the upperhand back with Aries and takes him down with a big backbreaker.  Joe and Roadkill grab Aries as Scott goes over to the far ropes in front of where Burchill and Shane are on the outside.  Joe and Roadkill whip Aries at Scott... Overhead belly-to-belly suplex over the top rope and onto Burchill and Shane!  All three men go tumbling down!  Scott, Roadkill and Joe celebrate in the ring to the delight of the fans.

[Main Event]:
Austin Aries and Gunner Scott battled to a no contest in 0:17:07.

(Austin Aries retained the GLWF Television title.)

An action filled night to say the least.  We may not have seem a new Television champion crowned or a definite defense by the current champion, but what an end!  We also know that Hector Garza & Mistico of Los Corazones Negros will face the Destruction Crew for the tag team titles on August 27th!  Next week though, we'll see H.B. Cade and Raven face off in a bullrope match to try and bury the hatchet once and for all, Bryan Danielson will face off once more against Doug Williams and we've just gotten word that in 6-man tag action the Age of Shane will face off against Samoa Joe, Gunner Scott and Roadkill!  We'll see you next week everyone!

Great card, I mark for  Los Corazones Negros, GLWF is not ready for the Black Hearts! :) Cade and Raven will burry the hachet in each others back you can bet on it, should be a good one. Glad to see Aries hold on to the belt. thought the main shoulda been atleast a 4 but 3 1/2 is not bad. Looking foward to the next card. Great work as allways
