GLWF Action TV: 8/6/05...

americamamushiPosted on 06/14/06 at 21:15:12

Welcome to GLWF Action TV!  We're back home in Kalamazoo, Michigan for what should be some great GLWF Action.  If you joined us last week you saw the amazing feat that went down before out very eyes.  Paul Burchill of the Age of Shane hit a C4 off the turnbuckles on Roadkill and took them not to the mat, but through the mat.  Amazingly both men are alright just a bit banged up.  As for tonight though, lets go down to the ring and get things started.

H.B. Cade down to the ring to kick things off.  He tells the fans that he's glad that he has changed his ways and is now fighting for the crowd instead of trying to fight against it.  He says that he thought he was finished with Raven, but apparently he was wrong.  Raven just doesn't want to let things go despite the fact that Cade has moved on and is trying to look towards his GLWF future than dwell on his GLWF past.  Raven appears at the entrance way and in his usual emo-kid way questions Cade's manhood for not seeming to want to face him and challenges him to a match for two weeks from tonight.  Cade accepts, but they aren't just going to have any old match, and it's not going to be a Raven's Rules match because that'd be playing right into Raven's hand.  If Raven wants a fight, he's gonna have to face Cade one on one... in a bullrope match!

"The French Phenom" Rene Dupree & "The Cat" Ernest Miller vs. Shannon Moore & Josh Abercrombie

Miller and Dupree caught a bit of magic not too long ago and held the Great Lakes Tag Team titles for a period of time.  And during their peak, they looked pretty good as a tandem.  Unfortunately, they've seem to let things deteriorate since they lost the titles back to the Destruction Crew.  Moore seems to still be upset about what went down last week against Los Corazones Negros and Abercrombie seemed to have a clear head and looked good save for the fact it always seemed like he was waiting for Moore to get in his face like he did with Ron Killings last week, costing them the match.  Moore also didn't seem to happy about having Abercrombie as a partner again.  Miller and Dupree had Abercrombie reeling after some nice combinations, but started arguing with eachother about who was going to take the victory.  Abercrombie stumbled back into his corner, Moore tagged himself in and leveled both with a flying dropkick.  Miller flew out of the ring, Dupree slowly got back up allowing Moore to get the Mooregasm.

Shannon Moore and Josh Abercrombie defeated Rene Dupree and Ernest Miller when S. Moore pinned R. Dupree with the Mooregasm in 0:12:25.

After the match Shannon Moore demands a microphone.  He calls foul on the fact that Ron Killings gets a #1 contenders match despite his getting pinned last week.  This brings out Ron Killings' who's match is next anyway.  Killings lets Shannon know how he feels about him and how it was Moore who cost them the match, Killings was just the unlucky one to take the fall for Moore's screw up.  Moore doesn't like this statement one bit.  Killings adds salt to the wound by telling Shannon that there was a reason he's having so much trouble getting back into GCW.  It's cause GCW doesn't want him.  They no he couldn't cut it there and despite whatever reason it was that he left, that's the reason they don't want him back.  No petition in the world is going to make him a better wrestler.  Killings on the otherhand has a future in GCW and once he gets there he'll be sure to send Moore a postcard, but right now he's got a date with destiny.

#1 Contender Match: "Savage" Siaki vs. Ron "The Truth" Killings

Siaki tries to get an advantage by attacking Killings before the bell and he succeeded.  He stayed in control for a bit and control here is important because the winner gets a shot at Michael Shane and the Great Lakes Heavyweight title which has been in his possession for the past 6 months.  Killings did manage to turn the match to his favor and from then on there was a lot of back and forth with neither man having a clear cut assurance of victory when all was said and done.  Towards the end Siaki sneaked to the outside and grabbed a coconut from under the ring.  He brought it in and tried to hit Killings with it but Killings ducked, Siaki turned back around... boot to the midsection... stunner!  Killings makes the pin and we now know the next threat to Michael Shane's title!

Ron Killings pinned Siaki after a stunner in 0:11:12.

Next we are as Michael Shane puts it "Graced by the mere presence of the Age of Shane" sans Burchill who is resting this week.  Michael Shane starts things off by majorly putting over Burchill.  Shane talks about how strong he is, how tough he is, how he is unstoppable and makes sure that everyone, fans and wrestles alike, know that Paul Burchill will always be looking out for Michael Shane.  Shane says that last week wasn't just about Roadkill.  It was about making an impact.  Showing everyone who exactly in the GLWF you don't mess with and further, showing them what happens if you get in their way.  Shane says that it looks like Samoa Joe's pissing and moaning about how he apparently always somehow gets screwed out of the title has stopped working because it looks like Shane has a new challenger for the gold in Ron Killings.  Shane says that Ron Killings isn't going to take this belt off of him.  Killings doesn't have what it takes to pin him and Michael Shane doesn't give up.  He also adds that incidently, Burchill will definitely be all ready to be in his corner on August 27th when he faces Killings.  Shane then gives the microphone to Austin Aries, who is happy not only to be the GLWF Television champion, but that Shane actually allows him to talk now.  Aries tells everyone that he has a big announcement and that everyone will surely be beating down the door of the ticket stand to get their seats for next week, because Austin Aries will make his very first Television title defense!  Aries says he doesn't know who his opponent is yet, but that it's a moot point.  He's proven himself beyond a shadow of a doubt now by winning the TV title.

The Destruction Crew and Bryan Danielson make their entrances.  They are followed by Los Corazones Negros, who are scheduled to be their opponents tonight in this 6-man tag match... but where's Hector Garza?  Only Shocker and Mistico have come out.  Shocker asks for a microphone and you can tell by the look on his face that he isn't a happy camper.  Shocker starts by berating America and their racisms towards latinos because Hector Garza was held up in customs and wasn't going to be able to make it to the show tonight.  They say that they did however find a replacement that is more than suitable... in fact, it's someone that Danielson is quite familiar with.  And with that said and without any music or anything Doug Williams charges out from the back, slides into the ring and tackles Danielson before he knows what hit him!

Main Event: Los Corazones Negros (Shocker & Mistico) and "The Anarchist" Doug Williams vs. The Destruction Crew ("Bulldozer" Bobby Lashley & Tank Toland) and "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson

The match is officially started, but the ref doesn't have anything close to resembling control over it.  Williams and Danielson basically just brawled with eachother around with eachother around ringside for a while and eventually disappeared to the back.  The match was very high impact and lucha based with Shocker and Mistico taking Lashley & Toland by surprise alot with their quick, crisp tags and high flying moves.  The Destruction Crew were out of their element, but they used their sheer power to gain control back when they could.  At the end of the match Shocker managed to catch Tank in the Reinera, but Lashley entered the ring and broke it up.  This caused Mistico to enter the ring and take Lashley down with La Mistica!  Lashley isn't tapping but he's sure as hell feeling the torque on his arm!  Toland charges at Shocker, but is met with a kneelift followed by a brain buster for the pin!  The referee counts it and we have our winners!

Los Corazones Negros (Mistico and Shocker) and Doug Williams defeated The Destruction Crew (Bobby Lashley and Tank Toland) and Bryan Danielson when Shocker pinned Tank after a brain buster in 0:16:35.

(Hector Garza no-showed.)

It was supposed to be a 6-man tag match but after Danielson and Williams got carried away and brawled their way to the back it pretty much turned into a tag match and Shocker and Mistico scored the victory against the tag team champions!   What a great way to end the show.  Here's what we've got lined up for next week on Action TV so far: Samoa Joe will be in action against "Savage" Siaki, Austin Aries makes his first Television title defense against an as yet unknown opponent, plus we'll hear from Los Corazones Negros!  We'll see you next week.

Been reading for a while and once again you put up a great show. I like the fact your in the Michigan area (Being a former Michigander myself) Also like how you use Ernest Miller and Lashley. Great #1 contenders match I was pushing for Siaki but hey still should be a good match.

Keep up the good work
