Copying a circuit

I know that when Unright took over the TNMWA circuit he had to import it, but how exactly is that done?

And is it possible to make two copies of a circuit, rename them and use those in the same TNMSE?

Or do I have to create three circuits?

I just did things the hard way. I got all the wrestler exports from Carzilla, imported them into a virgin copy of TNM and just for the sake of having accurate ratings I book the first all-ready ran 6 or so cards and went from there. If there were more than 10 cards, I might not have bothered.

I know TNM can be tempermental, so I've never tried to copy a circuit folder outright. Hopefully someone else can help you.

It appears to be as simple as copying the circuit's folder to the new TNM install, then making sure the file card.lgs (in your main TNM directory) has the appropriate 2 lines of data telling it the circuit name, and folder where it can be found. I only have one circuit - when I started out I decided to call it Midwest. Later on I changed my mind and decided I wanted to run an alternate-universe WWF, not just a local Midwest fed. So, I renamed it to WWF - but the directory was still called Midwest. So the contents of my card.lgs is:

WWF
MIDWEST

and that's the whole file. When I upgraded from TNM7SE Build 1 to Build 4, I went with a fresh install but the old circuit. Copying card.lgs and the circuit's directory worked fine. Hope this helps ya!

Another easy way to do it if you don't feel like editing the card.lgs file is simply have TNM create a circuit with the appropriate name, then copy the contents of the old circuit folder into the new, virgin circuit. At least that's worked for me...

Oh, just fyi, that doesn't work if you're not copying from your circuit to a new copy of it... if you, say, try to drop somebody else's in there, things will be messed up- but it works, if, say, you've got a two-brand fed and want to seperate them into two seperate circuits...
