3CW Newsline

Gregory Helms suffered a mild concussion during his match with Rey Mysterio, which kept him from entering the Royal Rumble match. No word from Mr. Helms on when, or if, he will be returning. Hopefully, we'll hear something soon.

Mike "The Miz" made an outstanding debut in the opening match by defeating the also-debuting Austin Aries. Both seem to have a bright future ahead of them.

CM Punk retained his 3CW TV Title by pinning his former friend Colt Cabana in what was possibly one of the best matches of the year. What will become of Cabana now that he has failed in his bid for the gold?

The Enterprise survived the Fatal Fourway with their titles intact. However, it seems like the team of Roderick Strong & Lance Cade may not be doing so well. Strong blames Cade for tagging out just when they could have won & handing the match to The E. And what of Air Raid, the orther team not involved in the fall? Next week, they will be in a non-title match with Kazarian & Maven to show they still belong on top.

Samoa Joe showed Jeff Jarrett just why he is the "Samoan Submission Machine" & walked out still 3CW Heavyweight Champion. Now, there is a new challenge for the mighty Samoan, Rumble winner "Maverick" Matt Bentley, who was one of Jake Roberts' surprise entrants, walked away as the new #1 contender. While the current roster wasn't happy about an "outsider" winning the Rumble, Bentley is sure to make a top-notch contender for the gold.

Next week:

Mike Mizanin will be rewarded for his winning debut with a non-title match against 3CW TV Champ: CM Punk.

Air Raid vs The Enterprise in a non-title match

Lance Cade & Roderick Strong vs Jinsei Shinzaki & Rey Mysterio

Bobby Roode will be out for revenge against the man that eliminated him from the Rumble: Steven Richards

Brent Albright will face Edge

Hopefully an update on the condition of Gregory Helms
