The James Gang walks into Jake Roberts' office.
BGJ: Hey Jake, we saw your little promo tape about Air Raid comin' here next week.
JR: Yeah, what did you think?
KJ: It sucked! Why the hell would you play that before OUR match anyway? We're the best tag team in the company & we're constantly getting overlooked. And now you want to bring in these to young punks?
JR: Hey they're just a couple of young lions looking for a spot on the roster. It'll just be a tryout anyway.
BGJ: Well, from where we stand the roster's plenty full as it is. So why bother even giving these boys a shot?
JR: You know something? I hear ya man. This roster is alittle tight right now. So if you're so sure these boys don't belong here, how about next week you meet them in the ring & tell them personally.
KJ: You mean, we'll be their "tryout" opponents?
JR: You got brother. And if they lose, they pack up their stuff & head back where they came from. But, on the off chance that they do win, they get a spot on the roster. Fair enough?
BGJ: Oh you know it man. These 2 are as good as gone.
JR: Glad you like it. (The James Gang starts to turn to leave) Oh one more thing. If Air Raid does beat you & gets a spot on the roster, it'll be your spot that they take & you two will walkin' out that door. (Jake laughs) Trust me.
