3CW History Repeats 6-10-06

JustinPosted on 05/07/06 at 02:47:21

This week's show opens with highlights of last week's main event. After the footage plays, 3CW Heavyweight Champion: Samoa Joe comes out to the ring.
SJ: Now I heard that Jeff Jarrett isn't here tonight, but, I have something to tell him anyway because I know he's watching. Jarrett, you may be running aroundwearing the 3CW Title belt, but, everyone in this arena knows that I am still the rightful champion. But, sooner or later you & I will cross pathes in this ring, and then I will break you down & take back what's mine. But that's only afterI go through one man that's been a thorn in my side for months. Tonight, Steven Richards, you & I will go at it one more time. And like so many times before, I will beat you down & choke you out. Bringing this rivalry to an end once & for all. You see, I've learned a lot from our history. Unfortunately for you, you'll be doomed to repeat the crushing loss I handed you the last time you dared oppose me. Make no mistake about it, you will never get your hands on MY title ever again.

Jake Roberts meets up with 3CW TV Champ: CM Punk in the locker room.
JR: Once again last week, you showed yourself to be oneof the luckiest men on Earth.
CP: What the hell are you talking about? I beat another of your hand picked opponents, didn't I?
JR: You did it with help. I really expected better from you. You claim to be the future of this business, & yet you really on outside help to get by just one opponent. (Jake smiles slyly) But, that gives me an idea.Since you couldn't beat one man last week without help, tonight, you're going to take on two.
CP: What? You're insane. That's not fair,
JR: You know what? You're right. It's not. So, I'll give you a sporting chance.I'll allow you to get a partner to help you out.
CP: Well, if it's a tag match, it's no big deal. I'll bet anyone on this roster would love to team with me. It would be their pleasure & honor.
JR: (laughs) Well you see, that's where my idea becomes unique. I'm not allowing anyone on this roster to be your partner.
CP: Then how the hell am I supposed to find somebody?
JR: That would be your problem, not mine. Because, if you don't find one by match time, you'll be taking on Lo' Down in a handicap match.
CP: You can't do this! I refuse to be treated this way!
JR: Yes, I can do this. And there are two things you can do about the treatment you're recieving: nothing & like it. Trust me. (Jake laughs & walks off)

And since I've been here, I've been screwed by management & overlooked so that they can push an "International star". Well, "Cocky" Siaki doesn't take a backseat to anyone. I'm gonna teach you all a lesson in respect. And you'll all learn the hard way that you don't turn a blind eye when a hungry Samoan is looking to make an impact or you just might end up a stain. CP: jake Roberts likes to think he's got all the angles covered. He thinks that by not allowing me to team with anyone from the 3CW roster that I'll be forced into a handicap match against a pair former tag team champions. Well once again, I'm going to have to ruin The Snake's palns. Because lucky for me, we're here tonight in Chicago. Footage is shown of the rivalry between Samoa Joe & Steven Richards. Richards is with Melissa Martinez.
MM: Steven, we've just seen that you and Samoa Joe have had a rivalry that goes almost all the way back to 3CW's birth. Do you think that there will be an end on the horizon?
SR: Truthfully, I don't think that the rivalry between Samoa Joe & myself will ever come to a true ending. The 2 of us are too competitve & we both wantto be on top with the 3CW Title too much to put any differences aside long enough to pursue other interests. It's a pretty unique situation that I'm in. I have everything to gain by beating Joe. I get another shot at the brass ring if I do. Then again, if I don't manage to beat him tonight, I may not get another chance to become 3CW Champion anytime soon. Then, you throw in the X factor of outside interference. Jeff Jarrett may not be here, but, his goons are.And we've all seen it when promoters use the "he's not here" angle & then suddenly they appear at the end of the show & lay waste to everyone in theri path. Jarrett has had me & Joe on the ropes for the past few weeks. But, I've got a strong feeling that he won't be a problem even if he does pop up. (Steven smiles slyly)
MM: What does that mean?
SR: It means that you should never bet against "Big Stevie Cool". I've got quite afew bases covered. And I'm ready to take my rightful place back on top. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a match to win.

Just as Jarrett poises himself to shatter his guitar over the head of "Big Stevie Cool", Joe grabs the guitar & snatches it from Jarrett's hands. As Jarrett turns around to see what happened, Joe blasts him with his own weapon, sending him crumbling to the canvas. Cade realease Richards to attack Joe & gets hit with a huge stiff kick to the face. Richards managaes to get free from Strong's grasp & takes him down with the Stevie Kick. With all 3 heels laid out, Richards grabs the 3CW title belt off Jarrett's waist. After staring at it for a second, he hands the belt to it's rightful owner. But, not before making it known that he still won here tonight & will be comeing after the title one more time as the show goes off the air.

After the ending of themain event, Jake Roberts has decided to make the following announcement.

I still call Stevie to win the match.

Great ending AGAIN with Vis-Maven... TNM LOVES you! :P

Not a big Sean Casey fan, honestly. So I'm happy James Gang won. They're probably in line for a title shot after V-Squared.

I loove Jake Roberts in the commish role, and CM Punk is a good foil though Jarrett plays it well too.

That Cade/Strong segment was great :) ... gave me a feel for how both of them are in your circuit. And they win too. Nice.

Interesting Siaki segment, though it's still tough for me to get into the feud... woow, Siaki whipped his ASS outside the ring. Another good ending, man. Can I borrow your computer? ;)

Great match between Albright and AmDragon. Surprised Albright pulled off the win, maybe it won't be as one-sided as I thought? This could build him nicely.

Not terribly surprised by Cabana, but that's not a bad thing in this case. The right team still won, but I've gotta think Punk's up to something.

Stevie wins with help from Jarrett? Kinda crazy, we'll see where it goes though. Happy Joe got the belt back, and that Stevie gave it to him is even better. Great show!
