3CW Vengeance 6-3-06

JustinPosted on 05/02/06 at 15:57:53

The show opens with highlights from last week's main event. After the video plays, Jeff Jarrett & Co. come to the ring. Jarrett is still wearing the 3CW title he stole from Samoa Joe 2 weeks ago.
JJ: I don't know just who Steven Richards thinks he is, but, nobody pulls the kind of crap he did last week on Jeff Jarrett. I'm the man that deserves this belt. I'm the man that should be referred to as the champion around here. I have the belt & to use an old cliche: "Possession is 9/10 of the law." Jake Roberts couldn't get the belt back from me last week. Samoa Joe couldn't do it either. And then "Little Stevie" had to give it a try. Well, it's no surprise that he failed too. So, you people had better get used to seeing me with the gold because it's only a matter of time before it's official.
Jake Roberts' music plays as the 3CW Commissioner joins Jarrett, Cade, & Strong in the ring.
JR: It seems to me that you may just be the luckiest man alive, Jarrett. Just beacuse you got the jump on me last week, you still feel like you're the man running the show. Well, I hate to break the news to you, Jeff, but, you are dead wrong. I'm the one that pulls the strings here. And in case you missed it last week, I appointed the REAL 3CW Champion: Samoa Joe as my personal Weapon of Mass Destruction against you & your buddies. Now, he almost broke Mr. Strong here, but, thanks to Mr. Cade he escaped to fight another day. And that day, is today. Later on tonight, Roderick Strong will take on D'Lo Brown whether he likes it or not, whether he's injured or not. And as for you Mr. Cade, tonight its your turn to test your luck against the "Human Weapon of Mass Destruction", but, unfortunately for you, it won't be for the title. You can blame your boss, Jeff Jarrett, for that since he wants to claim the belt is his. Or I would've granted you a title match. Trust me. And that just leaves you Jeff. Once again tonight, you get to sit back & watch as your 2 pals get dismantled one by one. Then there will be nothing stopping, myself, Samoa Joe, or even Steven Richards from ripping that belt off your waist & tearing your head right off your shoulders.
JJ: Well, you talk a pretty good fight old man. But, you must be further out of your mind than I thought. You stand here making threats & we've got you outnumbered 3 to 1again. There doesn't seem to be any sign of Samoa Joe rushing to your aid before any permanant damage can be done.(The crowd breaks into a "Joe! Joe! Joe!" chant)
Just then, Steven Richards jumps out of the crowd & attacks Cade & Strong with a chair before they can get to Roberts. He then brawls with Jarrett & just as he sets up for a Stevie Kick, Jarrett escapes underthe bottom rope & high tails it up the ramp, still clinging to the 3CW title belt.

Footage is shown from last weke of Rey Mysterio losing to CM Punk by countout. Melissa Martinez is with Scott D'Amore & Bobby Roode.
SD'A: Before you even start asking if Bobby Roode is ready to face Rey Mysterio, let me just say that judging by that footage we just saw, Rey deserves an Academy Award. He put over an obvious choke under pressure as a legitimate injury so well that all the fans actually bought it. But then again, their collective IQ's wouldn't add up to time it takes to heat up water in a microwave. But it is becoming clearer to men like myself & Bobby Roode that Rey Mysterio is not getting the job done in big matches anymore. Maybe it's time that he packed up his mask & headed back to San Diego to make room for the stars of the future like Bobby Roode. But, we all know that he's going to be too stubborn to listen to reason,so we will take it upon ourselves to show him out the door, and prove that Canadians are far more superior to the Luchadores.

Steven Richards is in the locker room when Samoa Joe walks in.
SJ: You know, I gave you respect after our ladder match, but, I never told you we were friends. I never asked for you help lastweek. you had no right to stick your nose where it doesn't belong.
SR: Let me get this straight, you would've perferredto have been smoked by those three instead? I mean, I was just trying to show you some respect by being there for you.
SJ: Yeah, well like I said; I didn't ask for help, nor did I want it. Besides, you & I both know it wasn't respect that brought you out.And it's not what brought you out when you jumped in to save Jake Roberts earlier tonight. So, why don't you just come clean.
SR: If you mean I had a hidden agenda, it's no secret I would love another shot at the title. Who wouldn't? But the truth is, you weren't the only one that got attacked by Jarrett after our match. It was payback for what he did just as much as it was respect for you. But if you wanna go one more time with me for the gold, just name the time & place. Now, if you'll excuse me I have a match alittle later that I need to finish getting ready for. (Richards walks out of teh room & leaves Joe with an angry look on his face.)

Backstage; Jake Roberts catches up with 3CW TV Champ: CM Punk.
CP: What did you think of my win last week? I'll bet you didn't think I could pull it off.
JR: From what I saw, you just got extremely lucky. If Rey Mysterio had been able to get back into the ring, it could have very well been a different story.
CP: Could've, would've, should've didn't! I beat him down so bad that he couldn't continue anymore. I beat Siaki 2 weeks ago, even after you tried to screw me over. Face it Jake, I'm just another man in this company that you can't beat. I can turn back any challenge anytime you want.
JR: Don't count you chickens just yet. That was just 2 men on this roster. I've still got plenty more to choose from. As a matter of fact, I've set up another match for you tonight against another top notch opponent. But, to make it fair, I'll at least make it non-title. But you had better be as tough as you say because your match is next. So I suggest you get your gear & head to the ring.
CP: That's just fine. Send out whoever you want, old man. You're just setting up another wrestler to get Punk'd!

So, I'll give you another chance to go for the gold, but, to earn that shot, next week you first have to beat Samoa Joe in a non-title match. If you manage to pull that off, then 2 weeks from tonight you'll get one last shot. But, before  that even happens, I'm giving you 10 seconds to get out of my ring so the main event can get started. And if you come back down to the ring at all, the deal's off. Trust me, I'm not joking.

MatteusPosted on 05/05/06 at 01:58:39

I love Stevie on the top tier in 3CW. And Jarrett and co., again, works for me :)

Kinda thought Roode would go over there, but I'm happy Rey won after falling short last week. Wonder what happened to Rey. Probably nothing...

Yeah, you knew Strong would win the match. It's right though, and a good match too.

The Kazarian-Venis finish was almost too crazy, but it's something I don't normally see in TNM, so for that it's pretty cool. Looking forward to the tag title match, but I think the champs will retain right now.

Good tension between Joe/Richards. Kinda hoping for a triple threat ladder match... or no ladder, it's cool :P

I'm almost afraid Danielson will destroy Albright in this series, but that probably won't happen. If it doesn, AmDragon is due a title shot ;)

Siaki's getting all badass! I likes.

Mr. Kennedy can't catch a break... break.

Same finish as last week, but let's see what it leads to... Joe vs. Richards?! Crazy! But I'll pay to see that. Luckilly I don't have to 8)

Nice goin' man! Can't wait for History Repeats!
rey619Posted on 05/05/06 at 08:54:37

You know I have a thing for your style of writing Justin, and just as in the GWA Umbrella Fed, you deliver again.
When posters use the PbP method the match usually "gets all wrong" in my head, as even though TNM kicks ass, it's not perfect. You, however, has either edited it afterwards, or maybe just very lucky, cause the ending of the Kazarian vs Venis match was pure brilliance. Viscera getting sent to the back, and Kennedy interfering with the ref's back turned. Gold.

The PbP for the Punk vs Shinzaki match and the Cade vs Joe match was also brilliant.

Keep it up Justin, your style adds diversity and is very interesting to read.
JustinPosted on 05/07/06 at 18:16:31

Believe it or not... i just get lucky with some match endings..... all i do is book interference as needed (just who will interefer against who) and TNM does the rest.

I rarely (if ever) edit the pbp.

thanks for the input... just afew more shows til my extention of Mushi's ruleset takes over... I'll repost them as I go since I'm doing some tweaking to make them even better
