Interview:
Joey Styles- Hello everybody! I am Joey Styles alongside with Vince McMahon, who is under the table now looking for his papers... (sigh). After a couple week hiatus, we are back in Baltimore, Maryland to bring you one hell of a card! We have three title defenses for you guys, as AJ Styles will step into the ring with three other men for a 4 way dance, The Dynasty will face Anarchy and The Gathering to defend their titles, and RVD is going to face Jerry Lynn and Samoa Joe in a Three Way Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Title. Let's kick the night off with a TV Title Defense.

________________

AJ Styles defeated Jay Briscoe, Taka Michinoku and Hayabusa::
x J. Briscoe beat Hayabusa via disqualification in 0:24:06
x J. Briscoe beat Michinoku via the J-Driller in 0:29:50
x Styles beat J. Briscoe via a reverse cradle in 0:33:13
Rating: ****
(AJ Styles retained the PWL Televison Title.)

AJ Styles barely pulled off a win in this one. AJ Styles
had to go in the ring and defend his title against two Japanese
Veterans, and one young rookie who is on his way to the top.
By the way Jay Briscoe was wrestling this match, you would assume
he's been wrestling for years, by beating both Hayabusa and
Taka Michinoku. It was down to two RoH Alumnis, and this is the
first time they have gone face to face. This last fall didn't
last all but three minutes, but Styles' showed Briscoe he wasn't going
to give up, and reversed the J-Driller into a quick reverse cradle
for the unexpected win!

Triangle Match:
Gathering (Christopher Daniels and Low-Ki) defeated
The Dynasty (Keiji Muto and Yuji Nagata) and Anarchy (CS Punk and CM Punk) when
Low-Ki pinned Nagata with the Ki Crusher in 0:24:00.
Rating: *** 3/4
(Gathering won the PWL Tag Team Titles.)

This was a promising Three Way Dance. The Gathering showed us
that expierience is not a big variable to the outcome of matches,
as they beat The Dynast when Low-Ki smashed Nagata to hell with the
hardest landing Ki-Krusher in years. After the victory, Daniels asked
for the microphone. Daniles tells us how he was the leader of the
Gathering, but not for long. Because Raven is making his way back
to PWL, and take his rightful place as leader, of the Gathering.
Low-Ki looks at Daniels wierd, but nothing happens. The two walk to
the back, as new tag team champions.

No-Countout-No-DQ-Triangle Ladder Match:
Rob Van Dam defeated Samoa Joe and Jerry Lynn in 0:42:05.
Rating: **** 1/4
(Rob Van Dam retained the PWL Intercontinental Title.)

Rob Van Dam coming fresh out the box with a title win last
week at Combat Evolved. But tonight, he struggled to keep what
was his ah he had to fight Samoa Joe and a well known rival,
Jerry Lynn. This match had Match of the Night written all
over it, from an amazing start, to a crazy and unpredictable
finish. Samoa Joe had Jerry Lynn in the corner, getting ready
for the Muscle Buster, and slams Lynn down in the middle
of the ring. Joe gets back up, and from outside the ring, diving
off of a ladder, RVD executes a flying sidekick! Joe flies out
of the ring, and is unconsious. RVD struggles to get back up.
He staggers his way to the ladder and sets it up. Before he climbs
the ladder, he does a Rolling Thunder on Jerry Lynn. He climbs
the ladder, and gets his belt to retain the IC Title!

Joey Styles- We are here in Dayton, Ohio, I am Joey Styles alone tonight, and I bring to you Combat Evolved! Last week we had a title change, as the re-formed Gathering stole the titles from Keiji Muto and Yuji Nagata. With the new found inspiration from Raven, The Gathering looks to be an unbeatable force. After two weeks of winning the title, Ric Flair finally speaks out! That and more tonight, but first let get to some tag team action.

Interview:
The Gathering (Raven, Daniels and Low-Ki) are shown walking down to the ring with their tag team titles.

Gathering (Christopher Daniels and Low-Ki) defeated
Ken Kennedy and Chris Masters when C. Daniels pinned Mr. Kennedy with the
Last Rites in 0:17:46.
Rating: ***
[Raven interfered against Ken Kennedy.]

These guys have it going for themselves, with two wins in a row.
But this week, we saw the arival of Raven. Throughout the match,
Gathering had the control, but by the end, they were worn out!
Kennedy had Daniels in the DVD position on the second rope,
and executed the Green Bay Plunge. Low-Ki distracts the referee
while Raven comes in from the crowd, trips Masters off of the
apron, and executes the Raven Effect on Kennedy and jets from
the ring. Ki goes back to his corner when Daniels is up. Daniels
finishes Kennedy off with the Last Rites, to pick up their 2nd win
in two weeks.

Brock Lesnar pinned Steve Corino with the F-5 in 0:11:05.
Rating: ****

This match was originally planned for just a filler, but
in ended up being one of the matches of the night! Brock Lesnar and
Corino had it pretty equal throughout the beginning and the middle
of the match, but Lesnar cought Corino by surprise and gave him the
F-5 for a win, and a great standing ovation.

Masato Tanaka defeated Hayabusa by disqualification in 0:09:49.
Rating: * 3/4

Hayabusa is falling lately, two two weeks. This match was
lengthly and dull with a few high spots. Hayabusa stopped the
match after accidentally knocking into the referee and getting
DQ'd.

Interview:
Flair comes down to the ring with a huge pop. He tells us that we are looking at the new PWL World Champion, and they should get used to it. He then thanks the viewers, and the fans, for making this title win so special. Just when everyone thought that his career was over, we helped his spirit and carried him through his tournament, and w/o the fans, Kane would've dominated him. We hear Carlito's theme song, and he walks down into the ring. He tells Flair its a shame Flair didn't dominate him and make him lose, because now he has to deal with Carlito. The crowd and Flair both laugh at this, and Carlito takes offense. Carlito challenges Flair, and Flair accepts. The match will take place after this advertisement.

Carlito pinned Ric Flair with the Modified Swinging Neckbreaker in 0:19:40.
Rating: ***

...Carlito wins? Flair had this rookie in the palm of his hand for
the match, and just kept toying with him to make him pay about what
Carlito said about his family! Flair slapped on a total of 4 figure
four leg locks along with 3 eye pokes, and a Flair Flop. Carlito
Escaped all of those moves, seemingly unnefected in the end, where
he nearly killed Flair with the Modified Swinging Neckbreaker for
the win. At the end of the match, Carlito asked for the microphone.

Carlito- Now, do you people believe me when I say he is past his
prime? This old fart can't even get up right now! I'm telling you,
I'm the next Ric Flair, WHOO! I'm the next legendary wreslter!
I am the next, PWL World Champion, whether you idiots like it
or not. (Carlito asks for an apple, and gets one. He points to
Flair,) Now that is not cool... (takes a bit of the apple,
pauses, and swallows it.) Flair, your not even worth it. (He throws
the microphone and leaves the ring. Screen fade.)

A couple questions before I can really start feedbacking in more depth.  Are you booked or unbooked?  Also, how long as this circuit been going?  It say Episodes 1 & 2, but you obviously have some history behind all of this.  A little bit into that history would be fantastic.

Also, who is CS Punk?
The Bizz 2.0Posted on 05/06/06 at 08:00:08

There are two previous shows before this that I have posted on the forums. PWL Combat Evolved and PWL One Night Only. Those are the two nights in which the titles were decided, and there were no cards before that. This league is about 90% booked. And I should've explained who CS Punk is, it is Chris Sabin.
MatteusPosted on 05/06/06 at 16:40:30

Probably could have made this one show with a bit more of a non-title undercard, but a good start nonetheless.

Episode 1:
Good opener, interesting role for Jay Briscoe. Is he still tagging with his brother? What was the opening DQ for? Happy Styles retained, but a little more info on the other two falls would be nice.

Look slike you have a decent tag division going, but I'm sorry to see The Dynasty lose the straps so early on. I like this version of The Gathering, a little more dynamic. CS Punk, huh? As long as Sabin has a gimmick, I don't care. Nice job!

Great main event to Episode 1, and happy that RVD retained. That young Lynn guy should be somethin' good someday ;) ... great ending, you write the finishes well, give that a try.

Episode 2:
Good opener for the tag belts. Masters and Kennedy... interesting. I'll see whee you go with it (are they faces?), but a good start for The Gathering.

Greeeat match between Corino and Lesnar. This one could be a nice little feud if you wanted it to be. I'd keep watching for sure ;)

HAR! Wow, I'm shocked how much the Busa/Tanaka match sucked... better luck next time, no?

Non-title match I guess? Wait, what'd who say about who's family? Good enough main event, could've used a bit more explanation, but I dig the end of the show. This might be a good feud to start off Flair's title reign...

Good start to the circuit! Looking forward to more PWL, Bizz!

LOL! WOW, I can't believe I forgot to put the family thing in. Whoever reads that, just ignore it because it "never happened". ugh. I was in a rush and it was getting late so yeah. Theres my excuse and I'm sticking to it. But yeah, the tag title match was unbooked and I just decided to role with Gathering taking the gold, because I wanted them to win it sometime down the line anyways. ***And just a note, I never.... EEEEEEVER, do Double Shows. This was just in the situation where I missed the previous week, and I had to post two at once to get cought up withthe dates.***
