Petey Williams pinned Super Crazy with the Canadian Destroyer in 7:33.
Rating *** 1/4

Here comes the pyro! Fury is live from Dayton, Ohio and just two days removed from No Justice there's a lot we have to touch on tonight. We have a brand new World champion and for the third time, it's "The Game" Triple H! MNM tasted UW gold for the first time in their young careers as they defeated Limited Edition for the World tag Team titles, and tonight Dinsmore will try to exact some revenge as he goes one-on-one with Joey Mercury! We have two rematches from No Justice tonight, as Paul London and Brian Kendrick will face off against Major League after Siaki and Richards decimated them on Saturday, and Chavo Guerrero will try to cleanly defeat Sean O'Haire in an emotionally-charged rematch. With that, let's get to the ring... its sure to be a big night!

"King of Kings" by Motorhead pays and out comes the new UW World champion, Triple H! The crowd went nuts as he came down to the ring wearing the title belt around his waist. He told the crowd that it was good to be back on the throne where he rightfully belongs. He officially declared that his coronation would be complete when he defends his title at Kingdom Come. He doesn't care who he faces, because no one is better than him and everyone in UW will bow down before him when it's all said and done. This brings out Randy Orton to a huge chorus of boos, as he runs down Trips saying that he got lucky last night and he'd be the World champion right now if he would've hit that second RKO last night. He told Triple H that he wouldn't make it to Kingdom Come as the champion, as he challenged him to a World title match at F'N Fury on May 26th! The fans went nuts at this prospect, but Booker T came down the entrance ramp and said he isn't the only one who has a claim at that World title shot, and The Book wasn't the one who was pinned last night. Orton got in his face, but Booker bumped him right back and Triple H got in between them, saying that they should settle their differences next week, one-on-one. The winner will get that World title shot at F'N Fury! Booker agreed, and told Orton that next week he'll end the night just like he ended Saturday's PPV: on his back!

No Justice Rematch:
Paul London and Brian Kendrick vs. Major League

After what happened to London and Kendrick at No Justice, they were looking to exact a measure of revenge against the team who left them laid out last night. The team ran down to the ring as usual, but were attacked from the get-go by Richards and Siaki. But London and Kendrick weren't about to be denied their revenge so soon. They finally seem to be finding their stride, to the extent that they are finding themselves at the center of top contendership talk for the tag titles. They showed why when they double-teamed Richards with some incredible high-risk tandem offense, including an impressive double top-rope legdrop combination that would have ended it early if Sonny Siaki had not broken the count. That's not to say that Major League didn't get their fair share of offense, as they were quite impressive and showed that they certainly aren't the joke of the tag division that many had previously assumed. Richards moved out of the way of a London Calling and made his way to his corner and Siaki took control, working on the neck of Paul London. He sent London into the ropes and missed a clothesline, but London sprang off the ropes and nailed Sonny with a rana-like enzuiguiri! He covered a shocked Siaki and the ref counted the pinfall!

Paul London and Brian Kendrick defeated Major League (Sonny Siaki and Steven Richards) when London pinned Siaki after a springboard enzuiguiri in 14:00.
Rating: ** 3/4

London and Kendrick made their way out of the ring as Richards rushed into it, obviously enraged that his opponents were able to pick up the victory. Richards mouthed something about having his day toward London and Kendrick, but they appeared too happy to have won the match to care. This win puts them very close to the top of the rankings in the tag division for sure.

Backstage, Generation Next was interviewed. Shelley took the mic first and said that last night The Alpha Male got lucky when he defeated The Next. Shelley never makes the same mistake twice, and if they ever cross paths again, Shelley will be victorious. Gregory Shane Helms got on next and told Brown that he'd take him on anytime, anywhere, but Helms has nothing to prove to Brown. Brown's still not in his league, and a lucky win over Alex Shelley isn't proof enough to consider him there. This brought Monty Brown out to the interview area and he was surrounded by the UW Squad, holding him back from Gen Next! He told the three men that they said anywhere, anytime and he wants here and tonight! Austin Aries, obviously the most physically intimidating force of Generation Next, picked up the mic and told Brown that he can get his hands on all three of them at once in a 3-on-1 handicap match! But if he wants to TRY and find a couple partners, he is free to do so. But good luck finding anyone who wants to step into the ring with UW's best. The three laughed and left Monty Brown fuming, being held back by the UW Squad as we cut to commercial...

"Mr. Wrestling" Nick Dinsmore vs. Joey Mercury (w/ Melina)

Mercury strutted down to the ring with his newly-acquired World Tag Team title belt, and Dinsmore stomped toward the ring looking like Joey had his firstborn child on his shoulder. He went in pissed and made a costly mistake from the beginning, as Mercury ducked a hasty clothesline and slung him throat-first across the ropes. He held him there as long as he could before the ref broke it up, and did it again for good measure. With Dinsmore partially subdued, he started to work on him, hitting a suplex and following up with a fisherman buster for two. He hooked an armbar, but Dinsmore quickly made the ropes. After punching away at Nick, he went back to the arm and held on longer this time, but Dinsmore finally broke out and elbowed Joey in the midsection. He sent him to the ropes and nailed Mercury with a clothesline and followed with an elbow for two. He tried for the German suplex, but his shoulder gave out part-way through. As the ref tended to Dinsmore, Melina slid his title belt into the ring and then stood on the apron to provide a distraction. This allowed Joey to take Dinsmore and smash his face into belt! The ref turned around and Mercury was covering an unconscious Nick Dinsmore as he counted the fall.

Joey Mercury pinned Nick Dinsmore after a vertical facebuster in 7:15.

Johnny Nitro came out and the tag champions started working over Mr Wrestling, setting him up for a Snapshot as Melina barked orders. But Rob Conway rushed the ring and the champs went running before they could hit their finisher "Ironman" took the mic and said that he's heard MNM has been talking backstage about how Limited Edition crumbled under the pressure, couldn't win the big one, couldn't handle being tag champs. He admitted that they didn't win at No Justice, and the one flaw of not having a bitch like Melina in their corner was no one looked over their back when they sign a piece of paper. They didn't have a rematch clause in their contract. Dinsmore grabbed the mic, holding his head in pain and said that if MNM isn't afraid, they'll give them a rematch for the belts at F'N Fury on May 26th! If Limited Edition loses, they won't get another shot at the belts as long as MNM holds the straps. Nitro and Mercury conferred with Melina and finally accepted the challenge, saying that they were going to finally fossilize those two dinosaurs at F'N Fury.

Backstage, John Cena and Orlando Jordan were with Josh Mathews. Jordan said that last Saturday, JBL may have outsmarted themselves and Damaja, but he wasn't through with them by a longshot. Jordan challenged JBL to finally step in the ring with him next week. He's been waiting almost a year to get his hands on Layfield one-on-one in the ring and if JBL's not scared, he'll accept. Cena starts rapping a verse about Layfield and The Machine, comparing them to Hanz and Franz from the SNL skits, but mentioning something about their exercise routine ending with a "homemade protein shake". He told JBL that he'd get his hands on JBL eventually, but Jordan gets his shot next week.

Matteus came on the U-Tron and announced that qualifying matches for the Kingdom Come tournament will begin next week with two qualifying matches taking place on Fury!

Chavo Guerrero was shown sitting on a bench in the locker room just staring into space. Josh Mathews tried to get a word with him, but after every question, he just ignored him. Josh finally said his name: "Chavo?" Chavo ignored him. Again he said Chavo, but nothing. He kept saying his name: Chavo. Chavo. Chavo. He touched Chavo's shoulder and finally Chavo turned his head and simply chuckled for a moment. He got up and waked out of the room.

No Justice Rematch:
Chavo Guerrero vs. Sean O'Haire

Chavo came into this match obviously looking distraught. He didn't smile once as he walked down to the ring, but wasn't angry so much as he just looked dejected. O'Haire on the other hand, came down oozing confidence. He took the fight right to Chavo and Chavo didn't fight back at all! Sean simply beat him down with clubbing forearms and vicious kicks. He threw Chavo into the ropes and caught him with a huge powerslam and covered him, but lifted his head at two! He hit him with a shoulderblock and hooked an armbar, but Chavo didn't struggle and yet didn't submit! O'Haire let go and delivered a flying leg lariat and went to the top rope. He flew off for a Seanton Bomb, but Chavo moved! Finally! Chavo started punching away and threw O'Haire into a corner and punched him some more. He hit the Three Amigos and went to the top rope! He started to smack his chest and the fans chanted "Eddie! Eddie!" Chavo stopped what he was doing and just stood on the top rope. He was frozen on the turnbuckle, allowing O'Haire to recover. Sean went to the corner and grabbed Chavo, hitting him with the Prophecy! The ref counted the pinfall and that was all she wrote.

Sean O'Haire pinned Chavo Guerrero with the Prophecy in 12:20.
Rating: ** 1/4

What the hell got into Chavo? O'Haire smiled and snickered as the fans just looked on in disbelief. After O'Haire made his way to the back, Chavo finally sat up. As he sat up, you could tell he had tears in his eyes. He walked to the back with his head hanging down and never looked up.

North American champion Shelton Benjamin was backstage and he bumped into Charlie Haas... literally. Haas obviously shoved Benjamin as they walked past one another, and Benjamin took offence, getting in Charlie's face and asking what his problem was. Haas said Benjamin is is problem, ever since the break-up of The World's Greatest Tag Team, Benjamin's acted like he's above Haas. Shelton said that that's bogus and he's even tried to get Haas to seek help for his obvious mental issues. Haas said that he was seeing a professional thanks to UW's front offices forcing him to, but he still has issues with Shelton and he wants to settle them tonight! He challenged him to a non-title match, and before Shelton can accept or reject the offer, Haas decked him and said he'd meet him in the ring!

Before the next match, Teddy Hart and Edge were shown backstage. Teddy had a hand-held camcorder and they walked over to Team Canada's dressing room. We watched from Teddy's "X-Cam" as Edge and Teddy stormed into the room where Petey Williams was watching a monitor all alone and the two beat the living hell out of Williams! They took turns punching and kicking Petey until Edge finally picked a bloodied Petey up and shoved him into the lens of the X-Cam. We could hear Teddy tell him to welcome back "X-Rated" Teddy Hart, and the camera was smashed into Petey's face! The screen went to static and we cut back to the ring...

Team Canada (Young & Roode) vs. "The Machine" Doug Basham and John Bradshaw Layfield

Basham looked apprehensive about tagging again with JBL, but Layfield assured him that all was on the up-and-up and last Saturday was all part of his plan for getting back at Cena and Jordan. Apparently, Doug believed him, because the two tagged again tonight against Bobby Roode and Eric Young of Team Canada, and looked surprisingly good. JBL graciously offered to start the match and had his way with Eric Young before tagging back out to The Machine. Basham hit Young with a brainbuster for two and dropped a couple elbows before making another cover and getting two yet again. Young finally took over when Basham missed a legdrop from the second rope and Eric tagged in "The Enforcer" Bobby Roode! Roode clotheslined Basham and ran to JBL and nailed him for good measure. He owned Basham, hitting him with a variety of power moves including a huge DDT which almost got three. He tagged Young back in and the two double teamed Basham successfully until Basham reversed a clothesline attempt of Young's into a double-arm DDT and tagged in Layfield. JBL started to go after Young, but Roode came in and lifted him high in the air with a gorilla press and slammed him to the mat! All four men started going at it when Edge and Teddy Hart started sauntering down to ringside. The two watched Roode and Young as they started to take back control, but just as Young was about to hit a flying body press and possibly end the match, he spotted the two at ringside. Roode started walking toward the two and Hart jumped on the apron and nailed him right away with a sucker punch! Roode staggered back, right into the Last Impression from The Machine! Basham hooked a leg as JBL pushed Young off the turnbuckle, crashing to the floor as the ref counted the pinfall.

Doug Basham and John Bradshaw Layfield defeated Team Canada (Bobby Roode and Eric Young) when Basham pinned Roode with the Last Impression in 13:02.
Rating: ** 1/2
[Teddy Hart interfered against Bobby Roode.]

JBL and Doug Basham steal another one, but the bigger story here is the interference of Teddy Hart and Edge! Team Canada was left in a heap around the ring and Hart and Edge came into the ring. Hart grabbed a steal chair and went into the ring. He started bashing away at the back of Bobby Roode! Edge took Young from outside the ring and tossed him in, nailing him with an Edgecution DDT before letting Teddy hit him with the chair more. Edge slid out and grabbed a chair of his own and reentered the ring with an evil smile on his face. Edge and Hart proceeded stand up both members of Team Canada and lay them out with two Conchairtos! The two started laughing and left the ring to huge boos from the crowd...

Monty Brown was shown readying himself backstage, and who else but Booker T walks in. He asked if Brown was really considering taking on Gen Next 3-on-1, and The Alpha Male said absolutely. Booker told him it's suicide and Brown got in his face and snarled. Booker stood tall and said no matter how tough Monty thinks he is, going 3-on-1 is plain stupid. Brown backs down for a moment as Book reminds him that he said he'd have his back against Helms, Aries, and Shelley and he means that tonight. He extended his hand to Brown and The Alpha Male stared at it, and said fine. He didn't shake his hand, but accepted the offer. Booker said he has an idea of a third partner if Brown wanted to listen to reason...

Non-title Match:
Shelton Benjamin (c) vs. Charlie Haas

Shelton Benjamin faced off against his former tag team partner for the first time ever, and stood in the same ring with him for the first time since they broke up as a tag team. They locked up in the middle and Benjamin took control with a headlock and took him down, holding him there. Haas kicked out of it, but Benjamin went right back to it. Benjamin kept Haas down with a barrage of wrestling moves, obviously not wanting to strike his partner, but Charlie had no such inhibitions about doing the same to Shelton. As soon as he gained the upper hand, Haas threw all his ability to the wind and started battering the NA champ with lefts and rights. He lifted him up and hit him with a vicious release German suplex and covered for two. He got a side suplex and dropped a leg across Benjamin's throat for two and a half. He picked him back up again and Shelton tried to kick him in the stomach, but Haas caught it and swung him around, but Shelton hit him with a Dragon Whip! He got back up and measured him up for a superkick, but from behind him came "The Legend Killer" Randy Orton! Shelton turned around and got nailed with an RKO! The ref had to call for the bell, disqualifying Charlie Haas.

Shelton Benjamin defeated Charlie Haas by disqualification in 7:23.
Rating: **
[Randy Orton interfered against Shelton Benjamin.]

Orton grabbed the mic and told Haas to take a hike. Haas shrugged his shoulders and stepped out of the ring. Orton said he had a message for Shelton Benjamin... his title reign is about to come to an end. And the man who as going to take his title and make his life a living hell was coming to the ring right now. Right then, Orton pointed to the ramp and out walked Sean O'Haire! O'Haire walked slowly to the ring and told Orton he was free to leave, and then started beating the living hell out of the NA champion! He hit him with the Prophecy and left the ring, laughing to himself as we went to commercial...

"Personal Jesus" by Marilyn Manson plays and here comes Generation Next for their match against Monty Brown and apparently Booker T! A remix of Distrubed's "Down With the Sickness" plays and The Alpha Male is out to huge cheers, and he's accompanied by Booker T. They stand on the entrance ramp and stare down Gen Next as the music stops and suddenly "King of Kings" hits the speakers and here comes the UW World champion Triple H! He is the third partner!

Generation Next vs. Booker T, "The Alpha Male" Monty Brown, and "The Game" Triple H

Huge main event tonight, and it started off with a bang as Austin Aries went at it with Monty Brown, and handled the big man for the opening portion of the match! Brown tried to gain the upper hand, but Aries always seemed a step ahead of him. He powerslammed The Alpha Male to the surprise of the fans, but only got a two count. He flew off the ropes with a springboard elbowdrop for two also, and hit him with a legdrop from the second rope before grabbing him and putting Brown in a chinlock. Brown powered his way out of the move and finally tagged out to Booker T, who slugged it out with Aries before Shelley rushed him, but Alex got sidekicked for his trouble. Aries took the distraction and tagged to Helms and the two double-teamed Booker, allowing Helms to take control. Helms kept Booker grounded, but couldn't put him away after hitting him with the Shining Wizard! Booker kicked out and Helms threw him off the ropes and Book blind-tagged Triple H! Hunter came in and nailed Helms with a huge spinebuster that almost did it if it weren't for Alex Shelley making the save! Triple H punched away and tossed him into the corner where he hit him with more punches before finally getting down and hitting him with a low blow. He hit him with a suplex and covered for two. He dropped a knee on Helms, but instead of covering, tagged out to The Alpha Male! Brown stepped into the ring with a wry smile on his face and started wringing his hands together. He stalked Helms as he got to his feet and almost hit him with the Pounce, but Aries and Shelley rushed into the ring and started attacking him! The World champion and Booker T ran into the ring as well and we're all bonzo gonzo here! Aries went after Booker, Shelley against Brown, and Helms versus Triple H. Hunter dumped Helms and went after Aries, but before hit could hit Austin with a clothesline, he ducked and Triple H hit Booker! Booker shot up and jumped into Triple H's face, shouting t the World champ! Hunter said it was a mistake, but Booker wasn't buying it. He shoved Triple H and Hunter shoved back, starting a fist fight between the two! Triple H and Booker started fighting all the way to the back, leaving The Alpha Male all alone against the three members of Gen Next! Gregory Helms lifted him up as Austin Aries came off the ropes and nailed him with the Hart Attack and he covered Brown. One... two... kickout! Brown kicked out! Shelley came up from behind and absolutely nailed Brown with the Shell Shock, a swinging fisherman neckbreaker. He covered again and there was no way The Alpha Male was going to kick out.

Generation Next (Alex Shelley, Austin Aries, and Gregory Shane Helms) defeated Booker T, Monty Brown, and Triple H when Shelley pinned Brown with the Shell Shock in 20:55.
Rating: *** 3/4

Generation Next stood triumphant in the ring and continued the assault on The Alpha Male, asking who was tough now. Aries took the house mic and said that Brown may have gotten lucky last Saturday when he defeated Alex Shelley, but at F'N Fury, Aries was going to make sure personally that Monty Brown goes down for good. He slapped Brown and Gen Next raised one another's arms in the ring as we came to a close.

Next week on Fury...
- Booker T vs. "The Legend Killer" Randy Orton in a Top Contenders match
- Orlando Jordan vs. John Bradshaw Layfield
- Two qualifying matches for the Kingdom Come tournament and more!

Matches announced for UW F'N Fury (May 26th)

"The Alpha Male" Monty Brown vs. Austin Aries
Snabbit888Posted on 05/01/06 at 23:22:36

Good opening segment with the new champion playing devil's advocate between Booker and Orton.  I hope HHH's reign is a long one.  He's a great guy to have on top.

Nice match to open the show.  I kind of wish this was the result from No Justice and the DQ happened tonight, but I'll take it as London and Kendrick rule hard.

Monty Brown is going to kill Gen Next one of these days, isn't he?  Out of curioisity, who exactly is leading Gen Next?  I'd like to say Helms, but after that segment it's hard to say.

Ah yes... the ol' "don't get a title shot while you're the champs" stip.  I see you've been reading GCW. *accuses you of stealing his ideas ala Anubis accusing Vince of stealing his dieas from an e-fed* :)  MNM better keep the gold... they're the best team in wrestling, babay!

Very interesting match with Chavo and O'Haire.  I'm curious as to where this is going, much like the real life WWE storyline.  O'Haire is the perfect foil for him in this angle too.  This is compelling stuff.  Excellent work.

Yeah, suck it Petey Williams!  Edge rules so hard, I can't help but enjoy that. :)

Man, not Team Canada's night, eh?  Edge and Hart kicked some serious ass tonight.  Have to think next week is Team Canada's revenge.

Benjamin and Haas both rule so freakin' much.  Their match on RAW was good a couple weeks back, and this match was as well, minus the interference from Orton.  I'm curious as to whether Haas is going to take being cost this match in stride or go after Orton and O'Haire.

A little predictable on the main event (after the partners were revealed anyway) but that isn't always a bad thing.  The tension and fight between HHH and Booker cost them the match, which leads me to believe that Booker wins the match against Orton next week.

Great stuff, my man.  The more I get into all of this, the more I love it.  Keep 'em coming.

Yeah, I'm having a lot of fun with characters I didn't expect to be quite as dynamic when I first started planning this stuff.

Monty Brown is going to kill Gen Next one of these days, isn't he? Out of curioisity, who exactly is leading Gen Next? I'd like to say Helms, but after that segment it's hard to say.
That's kind of what I was going for, truthfully. Helms is, officially, the leader of Generation Next, but my absolute fear of Aries and Shelley being lost in the shuffle kind of makes me want to put Helms on the backburner at times in favor of the other two. But yeah, Helms is the leader and the other two are pretty much trying to protect him from Monty...

I KNEW you'd say that! Dang, lol. Honestly I planned this out before I caught up with GCW, but when I started reading again I was like... whuh oh's. Ah, Anubis... I'd love to use him as a character. Actually, now that I think about it... ::)

Yeah, suck it Petey Williams! Edge rules so hard, I can't help but enjoy that. :)
LoL, what is your mad-on for Team Canada? :P

Great stuff, my man. The more I get into all of this, the more I love it. Keep 'em coming.
Will do! Thanks for reading! ;D
Snabbit888Posted on 05/02/06 at 00:29:45

Individually, I like the members of Team Canada, I just don't like them as a stable.  They get a bit too lost in the shuffle.  I think they are better off on their own.  I'm big on Petey and Bobby Roode especially.
rey619Posted on 05/03/06 at 12:22:11

The Canadians bounce back from the losses at No Justice... and even steals one over Cena! Awesome!

I dig Triple H as the champion, here's to a long reign as the king of kings! I hope Orton takes the #1 contendership, I just don't buy Booker as a valid main eventer.

I think Gen Next tries to bite over more than they can chew with Monty Brown... he is an intimidating monster, even though he can't wrestle. I think he actually has a chance of winning a 3 on 1 handicap match.

I really like the way you describe the matches. It offers a little more match-detail than the "the match went back and forth until X hit the Z finisher" style, while it doesn't suffer from the same problems as the write-ups that covers every second from the entrance to the finish. Nice.

Jordan vs JBL feud should have happened on Smackdown eons ago, but when they didn't follow through with it when JBL abandoned Jordan in the tag-match and instead went with the short-lived punishment feud with Matt Hardy, I gave up. Nice to see someone with a booking-brain. Cena is back to his old rapping days it seems, probably a much better Cena than the real one.

Huh.. what's up with Chavo.. I'm hoping a huge push is in store for Chavo soon, and that this is only the prelude.

Teddy takes the Alex Shelly-video cam thingy a step further when he actually video-tapes his own violence. Nice spin on Teddy Hart by the way, I always use him in a Hart-legacy angle, and it's nice to see that he can be used otherwise. Edge as a mentor will probably boost him in the rankings.

JBL had his way with Eric Young... ouch... and Roode gorilla presses the big Texan.. impressive. Seems like the Canadians are on a collision course.

O'Haire controls.... the Legend Killer... O'Haire has got an edge going into this feud that Benjamin should be wary of. I predict a title change on the horizon.

Ouch... now Generation Next is really outmatched, even though Aries actually powerslammed Brown. I love Aries, too bad TNA doesn't feel the same. And we have ourselves another bonzo gonzo moment! Which evolves into the break-up of the team. Brown finds himself 3 vs 1.. let's see if I was right in my prediction... no.. seems like Brown can't handle the three of them. Aries pulls out the... Hart Attack? Isn't that Teddy Hart's finisher?

Anyhow, really nice to see Generation Next in the main event of a promotion of this calibre, makes me want to read more.

Great work!

Another hot card

Is chavo channeling eddie & then mid-match waking up?

O'haire going nuts on Shelton...can't wait for their title match

I predict Booker over Orton for the #1 spot.

Edge & Teddy against Team Canada....oooooh i'm all goose bumby wth anticipation

Gen Next over Monty once again... gotta love it.

Can't wait til next week's show
