---Video plays on the contestants of tonights tournament.:
Pyro goes off and we are joined by Vince McMahon and Joey
Styles at ringside---

JS- We are here at One Night Only with a capacity crowd of
50,000 people, all eager to find out who will walk out
here with the gold. Hello everyone I am Joey Styles with
my partner, Vince McMahon and tonight we will find out
who represents PWL.

VM- 8 Men, 1 winner,(flails his hands in the air) who will survive--- damn it. Dropped
my pen...

(Round One- Brock Lesnar vs Kane)

These two men have been feared of in the wrestling business
for quite some time now, and these two put up a decent,
yet quick match. Kane had control through the whole match,
slapped on the ChokeSlam for the win.

[Round 1]: No-Countout-No-DQ-Match
Kane pinned Brock Lesnar with the Choke Slam From Hell in 0:09:01.
Rating: ** 3/4

(Round One- Batista vs Aj Styles):

This could be the big break AJ Styles is looking for to become
a top contender, but in his way is "The Animal". AJ Styles
got a few good moves in, and it looked as if he had the
the win when he set up for the rollup, but Batista
turned around, kept the arms hooked and executed the Batista
Bomb for the win.

[Round 1]: No-Countout-No-DQ-Match
Batista pinned AJ Styles with the Batista Bomb in 0:11:34.
Rating: ****

(Round One- Samoa Joe vs Chris Benoit):

This is a dream match. Arguably the greatest technical wrestler
ever, Chris Benoit, ready to take on the greatest submission
wrestler of our time, Samoa Joe. This was truly a match to remember
as it was back and forth, you couldn't tell who were to win until
the last pinfall. Or in this case, submission. Samoa Joe unexpectadly
got up after a German Suplex before Benoit did, and slapped on the
Kokian Clutch. Benoit, who was in the middle of the ring writhing in
pain, had no choice other than to submit.

[Round 1]: No-Countout-No-DQ-Match
Samoa Joe made Chris Benoit submit to the Kokina Clutch in 0:15:09.

(Round 1- Shawn Michaels vs Ric Flair):

Ric Flair, a 16 (or 22) time World Champion, is looking to add
one more title to the list, the PWL World Title. Shawn Michaels,
a future Hall of Famer, has accomplished a lot in his career,
but never held a title outside the WWF/WWE. HBK is as desperate
for this title as Flair, and it showed. Flair and Michales put
on the best match of the night (****), but expierience was the
biggest factor in this match. HBK was going for the Sweet Chin
Music, but Flair caught his leg, kicked his other out from under
him, and slapped on the figure four leg lock! HBK was reaching for
the ropes, and Flair pulled brass-knuckles out of his tights and clobbered
HBK in the head with it when the referee wasnt looking! The referee
checked HBK's shoulders which were on the mat, and counted the three.

[Round 1]: No-Countout-No-DQ-Match
Ric Flair pinned Shawn Michaels with the Figure-Four Leglock in 0:12:39.
Rating: ****

(Semi Finals- Kane vs Batista):

Kane was obvioudly warn down during this match after a good match with Lesnar. Batista showed a weakness where
Styles Pele'd him before (the neck). Kane took advantage of it,
boucned off the ropes and took Batista down with a brutal
flying lariat, and Kane picked up the win.

[Semi-Finals]: No-Countout-No-DQ-Match
Kane pinned Batista after a flying lariat in 0:05:02.
Rating: **

(Semi Finals- Samoa Joe vs Ric Flair):

These two men fought in exausting 1st Round Matches, both satisfying.
We expected no less from this match. It was old school vs new school.
Samoa Joe, about 9 minutes into the match, knocked down Ric Flair
with a running knee to the gut, and put on the sharpshooter.
Flair, desperatly trying to crawl to the ropes, realizes he is to
far away to reach, decides he is helpless. But out of nowhere, he
gets a 2nd wind, and tries to turn the move around! Joe tries to avoid
this from happening, but can't, and its reversed into a figure
four! Flair took advantage of Samoa Joe's inexpierience of the move. Flair is wiggling around like a mad man, trying to inflict as much
pain as possible to Joe. Joe tries to reach for the ropes, and taps!
Flair is going to face Kane in the finals for the PWL World Heavyweight
Title.

[Semi-Finals]: No-Countout-No-DQ-Match
Ric Flair pinned Samoa Joe with the Figure-Four Leglock in 0:11:59.
Rating: ****

(Finals- Kane vs Ric Flair):

JS- Kane powered his way through Brock Lesnar and Batista to get
where he is now, and will not give up until he has gold around
his waist. Michaels and Samoa Joe have both fallen victim
to the figure four leg lock, will Kane do the same?

VM- Will I ever find my damn pen? Tune in next week to find out!

JS- (mutters under his breath) How can you expect to find your pen when you cant even find your crazy pills...

VM- What?

JS- I said I'll help you look for it.

Start of Match- Ric Flair stands in one corner as Kane
is at the other, the two are staring each other down
like hawks. Kane steps to the middle first, Flair follows.
A punching contest starts the fight, and it is abruptly
stopped by a poke inthe eyes by Ric Flair. Flair chops Kane
down with a series of Kicks and Chops and Punches until
Kane falls on one knee. Flair continues his assault as he bounces
off of the ropes and takes Kane completely down with a powerful
clothesline. The crowd is really behind Flair. Kane sits back up,
and the two go back and forth.

End of Match- Kane throws Flair into the corner where the referee
is, knocking the referee out cold. Flair rolls out of the ring,
in pain. Kane steps over the ropes and plants on the outside
mats only to be meant by the brass knuckles! Flair drags Kane
inside, gets the figure four leg lock on and the referee is back up.
Kane wakes up in a great amount of pain, and immediatly submits,
crowning Flair the 1st champion of PWL. Flair
recieves the belt, falls onto his knees, and
holds up the belt. Confetti falls as pyro goes
off on the stage, and the crowd is going wild.
The screen fades as Flair is celebrating with
the fans near the barricade.

[Finals]: No-Countout-No-DQ-Match for the vacant PWL World Title
Ric Flair pinned Kane with the Figure-Four Leglock in 0:15:12.
Rating: ***
(Ric Flair won the PWL World Title.)

Card rating: *** 1/4

Ouch, there goes my prediction. I wouldve said Lesnar all the ay at the start, but Kane just deraild all that. I'm not a huge Kane fan, personally... so we'll just skip that and hope he gets smushed by his opponent for the next round...

...Batista. I would've LOVED to see Batista and Lesnar go at it, but alas. Stupid Kane. This looked like a big mismatch to start, and the right guy def went over... even though I know you don't book much. ****?! Holy shnikes :P

Wow... this is a dream match. Grrr, Joe goes over. I guess that could have gone either way, but I love Benoit and would rather see him in the main event picture to start than Joe, even though I loove Joe. Anyway, nice little match and we're off...

That's a good match-up.... you've got a lot f qusality on the roster. Almost makes me wish you had more junk guys. But Ric(k) Flair goes over Shawn Michaels. Although Flair is really really old and probably should retire, I loves me some cheat-to-win dirtiest player in the game action. Sweet deal! Hope Flair carries that attitude while he's in PWL...

Next round, good use of psychology from the last match. But Kane again?! Gaaaah!! LoL, just kidding. Good match again from Kane, but if he wins it all, I'll break my laptop (no I won't... it was expensive)

Flair wins! Flair wins! Dammit, Kane's gonna destroy him... good match, and I love the ending with Joe not being used to the Sharpshooter and Ric(k) taking advantage. Sweet!

Yes!! While Flair wouldnt be my top choice to win the PWL Title, at least it isn't Kane. I guess that'll be my catch-phrase from now on. Until it is Kane... grr. But all in all a good tourney to introduce us to the main-event picture. Good start, can't wait for you to inject some storyline goodness!
