3CW Fallout 4-29-06

JustinPosted on 03/31/06 at 15:32:53

This took a little while to write up because I had a hard choice of who the new man in charge would actually be.
JustinPosted on 03/31/06 at 15:33:43

As the show opens, Leo White is standing in the ring.
LW: As you all know, last week was officially my final week as commissioner here in 3CW. But, as my final act as commissioner, the board of directors has granted me the right to name my own successor. So without further ado, a man that needs no intrduction...... (Team Canada's music plays as Scott D'Amore & Bobby Roode come to the ring)
As D'Amore & Roode enter the ring Leo White starts speaking again.
LW: To clear up any confusion, he (points at D'Amore) is not who I picked. What the hell are you doing out here D'Amore? You know what? I don't even want to know. I've had it. I'm not getting paid to deal with you anymore so I'm outta here. (White exits the ring leaving D'Amore & Roode there alone)
SD'A: Just like you to take off when the heat starts coming your way.  But, before you go, how about you finish up by bringing out the man you said can put me in my place. The man that you said quote "needs no introduction". If you've even got someone here.
LW: Oh don't worry Scott, he's here. As a matter of fact, you're right, let's get back to business. Ladies and gentlemen: JAKE "THE SNAKE" ROBERTS!
The crowd erupts as Roberts' music plays and Jake steps out from backstage carrying his trademark bag over his shoulder. Jake slowly approaches the ring. First he slides his bag underthe ropes, then he accends the steps & enters the ring.
SD'A: Well, well, well, Jake Roberts. What rehab center did you just come from? Or was it another joint replacement surgery? Either way, it seems that our FORMER commissioner made yet another mistake by thinking YOU could put ME in my place. After all, all I would have to do is dangle a bottle, (Jake mouths the words "Don't go there") and you'd roll over & do whatever I tell you. But then again, I don't even think it would take that much. From looking at you right now, I can see that you're just a shell of your former self. I think the truth is; you're actually alittle intimidated right now. The truth is; you don't know what you're going to do with me. The truth is; you're even alittle afraid. The truth....(Jake snatches the mic from D'Amore's hand)
JR: THE TRUTH!? The truth is you've never been in a fight, my man, and you don't want this one. The truth is: I don't like you for the man that you are, & I don't like you for the man that you pretend to be. Now you can come out here & attack my personal demons all you like, but, the truth is very simple: no scientist can cure cancer, man. No single politician can stop a war. No doctor can give the dead new life, & you don't walk on water. So, back offa me! I have gone to the edge & stared death himself in the face. There is nothing that anyone here can do to intimdate me. I have walked & fought with giants & titans and never taken a backward step.
SD'A: So they sent you here. If that isn't the blind leading the blind.
JR: "The blind leading the blind"? Even a fool knows that a man only has five senses. But a snake? He has six. We always do it better in the dark. And that's where you're about to find yourself, Scott. Alone in the cold dark with only your memories to keep you company. So I suggest that you get out of my way & out of my ring before it's too late. (D'Amore steps back with a worried look on his face & he coaxes Bobby Roode to leave the ring with him.)

Jake Roberts is in his new office, getting things put away, when Samoa Joe barges in.
SJ: Alright Roberts, since you're the new man around here, I'm gonna give you one chance to start it off on the right foot. Give me a rematch tonight with Steven Richards for the 3CW Title.
JR: First of all, who the hell do you think you are to barge into my office when I haven't even been here for an hour yet?
SJ: Look Roberst, I don't know if you are aware of who the top wrestler is around here, but, it's Samoa Joe. No one can hold a candle to me in that ring, and I want my title back.
JR: Somebody must be able to come pretty close then if you no longer have the belt. But, I'll tell you what. I'm not gonna give you a rematch tonight.
SJ: Are you crazy old man? Have all those years of substance abuse reduced your brain to jelly?
JR: Now you're getting personal & I don't like it.
SJ: What are you gonna do? DDT me? I'll have you unconcious on the floor before you know what hit you.
JR: You just might at that. I like you, you've got balls. Now, I'm still not gonna give you a rematch tonight, but, I will do one thing.
SJ: (looking somewhat confused) What's that?
JR: Tonight, in the main event, you are going to go one on one with the #1 contender: "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson. If you win, you're the new #1 contender & you'll get your rematch. But, if you lose, you're out of the title picture for a long time. So what do you say?

Jake Roberts goes into Sting's locker room.
JR: Hey there "Stinger". What's new?
S: (looks suspiciously at Jake) Don't come in here kissing up, Jake. It's no secret we don't get along. What do you want?
JR: Always to the point. That's what I do like about you. But, since you mention it. You won the CWA International Title last week from Randy Orton and their board of directors is none too happy about it. So I was on the phone with them alittle while ago & I think we came up with a solution that benifits both organizations.
S: I'm not giving back this belt Jake. So, don't waste your breath.
JR: Oh, I'd never ask you to do that. But, I do want you defend it tonight. Just to show them that we are superior to the CWA in every way.
S: Really? Why does it still seem like you're not telling me everything?
JR: Relax "Stinger". Trust me. I've got it all under control.

MM: Coach D'Amore, tonight, the new commissioner: Jake Roberts has made a match between your charge: Bobby Roode & the man that we just saw make your friend Jeff Jarrett submit: Brent Albright. Albright says that he now deserves to be high up on the card. Do you think by beating him, Bobby Roode will prove the same thing?
SD'A: All that Jake Roberts did was to seal the fate of Brent Albright. He got lucky last week against Jarrett, but, tonight that luck runs out. "The Canadian Enforcer" belongs going after single's gold here in 3CW, not regulated to undercard matches against no talent hacks. If Jake Roberts thinks this is a way to bury us, he's dead wrong. SR: They said "It couldn't be done." They said: "No way in hell can Steven Richards successfully defend the title against that Monster." They said: "Samoa Joe is unstoppable." They laughed when I said I would remain champion after Maximum Impact. Well who's laughing now? I told everyone that Steven Richards is for real. Steven Richards is a man to be respected. I've taken on the best in the world & I'm still here. I've climbed the ladder to the top & there's nobody that can knock me off.

Jake Roberts is in the locker room of Scott D'Amore & Bobby Roode.
JR: Who the hell do you think you are? You can't just start attacking MY referees without cause.
SD'A: YOUR bias referee cost my man a match. Therefore, he got what he deserved.
JR: And now you are too. As of right now, the 2 of you are suspended!
BR: What?! That's not right!
SD'A: You're right bobby, and I'm going to the board of directors with this. You'll be out of a job again when I'm done Roberts.
JR: Who do you think authorized the suspension? Now I suggest you get your crap together before I turn it into an out & out firing.
Just then Brent Albright barges in.
BA: Jake, I just came from the trainer's office & Charles is gonna be okay.
SD'A: See Jake, no harm no foul.
BA: I can't believe I'm saying this, but, don't suspend them.
Roberts, Roode & D'Amore all at once: What?
BA: I know it's a strange request, but, I've got a better punishment idea. Next week, I want to fight him again, but, ban Coach D'Amore from ringside. Let's see what "The Canadian Enforcer" is really made of.
JR: (smiles) Now that's an idea that I like. You got it. Next week, D'Amore you can be in the building, but, you are banned from ringside in Bobby Roode's rematch with Brent Albright. And if you do interfere, you both will be suspended on the spot. And trust me, I'm a man of my word.

(Sting retained the CWA International Title.)

After the match:
As Sting celebrates in the ring, Jake Roberts comes out onto the entranceway.
JR: Congradualtions "Stinger" on a successful title defense. But, now I have a VERY important announcement to make regarding the status of that very belt. Ladies & gentlemen, as of right now, you will no longer see the CWA International Title on 3CW broadcasts. As it will be returning to the organization that owns it. (Sting gets a microphone from ringside)
S: I told you I'm not giving back this belt Jake.
JR: Did I say you have to? No. Sting, you won't have to "give" the title back because you're going with it. You see, I've orchestrated a deal that will truely benifit both our companies. In a trade off of talent, 3CW will recieve 2 members of the CWA's roster and the CWA will get back their International Title & the man that holds it. And well, since you managed to put Simon Dean down tonight, that man will be you, Sting.
S: But, what about my contract here?
JR: Your contract will be transfered to the CWA & you can negotiate with them. But, be warned. You won't be back here anytime soon. So get your gear together, I've already got a cab waiting. (the crowd boos as Sting is forced to leave the ring by security). Boo all you want, I didn't come here to be popular. I came here to do a job & make this company better. And next week, I will do just that. Next week, there will be a battle royal to determine the NEW 3CW Television Champion. 8 men will participate to include CM Punk, Val Venis, Josh Prohibition, Gregory Helms, Jamie Noble, & Simon Dean. They will be joined by the 2 new acquisitions from the CWA in a pinfalls only battle royal for the gold. And trust me, this will be one you won't want to miss.

Backstage: Melissa Martinez is with Bryan Danielson.
MM: Bryan, tonight you're putting your #1 contendership on the line against the former 3CW Champiion: Samoa Joe. Now you 2 have battled all over the world, what about this match do you think will be different?
BD: What's different is that Joe is out of control right now. He's so hell bent on getting the 3CW Title back, that he's forgotten all about what's important. Not only that, but, he's overlooking everyone else & just focusing on Steven Richards. And tonight, when he faces me, that will be a fatal mistake. And when I capitalize on that mistake, I'm going to be the one that takes the belt from "Big Stevie Cool". Then, I might even concider giving Joe a shot.

Match observations:

Jake "The Snake" Roberts is the new commissioner/general manager here in 3CW. A shocked Scott D'Amore was the first to get in the face of "The Snake", and was the first one to be bitten by his razor sharp wit.

Samoa Joe is once again the #1 contender to the 3CW Title. You have to wonder just what it will take for Steven Richards to keep him from coming after him & the gold.

Thanks to a major decision by Jake Roberts, Sting is no longer a part of 3CW. The current CWA International Champion has been sent to the organization that owns his title in trade for 2 unnamed wrestlers that will debut next week.

Scott D'Amore & Bobby Roode were chastized for their attack on referee Charles Robinson tonight. But, thanks to some petitioning by Brent Albright, he will go after the Canadians himself in an attempt at revenge for the smaller ref, next week.

Speaking of next week, Jake's other huge announcement was that there will be a new champion crowned for the new 3CW Television Title. The man that wins an 8 man pinfalls only battle royal will be able to walk out with the belt. Roberts mentioned 6 of the participants by name leaving the 2 new men from the CWA to fill the last spots.

Rey Mysterio & Jinsei Shinzaki will defend the 3CW Tag Team Title against Veronica Caine's Enterprise, due to their victory tonight in a non-title match. With new member Maven, could we see a major upset? Or will the first ever Tough Enough winner come up short?

Next week:
Samoa Joe will team up with Roderick Strong to take on 3CW Champ: Steven Richards & Bryan Danielson
Brent Albright will go one on one with Bobby Roode in a return match from tonight with Scott D'Amore banned from ringside.
Rey & Shinzaki defend the gold against Kazarian & Maven
and a new 3CW TV Champ will be crowned

Interesting choice with Jake.  I'm diggin it.  He's a crafty ol' bastard.  He's had a pretty interesting first night as well.

Love to see the Mr. Kennedy win.

Hmmm... looked like Roode was getting his ass handed to him anyway.  Lil Naitch was innocent! :)  That nogoodnick.

Viscera isn't an easy nut to crack, but kudos to Cade for managing to do it.

I was a bit surprised by Albright's plan too, but it looks like he believes he has things under control.  Of course, that probably means something bad is going to happen :)

Jarrett wins, no surprises.  But sometimes the surpriseless win helps.

Interesting turn of events indeed with Sting leaving the federation.  I knew that wily Jake Roberts had something up his sleeve. :)  I imagine this can't be it for Sting though.  And I can't wait to see how the new guys in town are.

Another meeting between Joe and Richards should be great as well.
