The CeWF Presents:
OVERDRIVE!
Charlotte, North Carolina

"The beginning of a journey starts with a single step.  Tonight, one man takes that step into the beginning of the new era of professional wrestling.  They will give blood, sweat, and tears just for that brass ring.  Tonight, they push it to the limit, and shift into OVERDRIVE!"

Fireworks go off left and right as the lights come up in the arena.  The crowd is going nuts as the CeWF presents its first major event.

"IT'S TIME TO PLAY THE GAME"
Triple H makes his way to the ring.  The entrants are making their way to start the 15-Man Endurance Battle Royal.  Here comes Chris Benoit, followed by The Big Show, Sting, and Redeemer.  Let's explain the rules; pinfalls and submissions are legal; throwing someone over the top rope is not.  Here comes Booker T, Shawn Michaels, Batista, Christian, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Jericho, Ric Stone, Kane.  The lights go down for The Undertaker, but the crowd goes insane for Hulk Hogan.

Everyone has entered the ring, and it's time to kick this event off the right way.

MATCH #1
15-MAN ENDURANCE BATTLE ROYAL
*WINNER GETS THIRD SPOT IN WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH LATER TONIGHT*
The bell rings.  Everyone starts going at it.  Surprisingly, the action goes on for a while until Benoit and Hogan square off.  Benoit gets Hogan in the Crossface and promptly taps out.  Hogan rolls out of the ring and bows out gracefully.  Shawn Michaels nails Benoit from behind and goes for a German suplex, but Benoit counters with a roll up and eliminates Shawn Michaels.  Meanwhile, Jericho has The Undertaker by the legs, but Christian comes off on Taker with a cross-body.  Jericho holds Taker's legs down, and Christian pins Taker.  Three gone, twelve left.  Kane and Big Show have paired off.  Kane nails Show with a boot, and Show falls back into a roll up by Benoit, and Show has been eliminated.  Benoit has made three of the last four eliminations.  Sting and Batista have now paired off.  Batista gets whipped into the corner by Sting who attempts a Stinger Splash.  It connects, but Batista doesn't sell it.  Sting turns around and gets a kick to the midsection followed by the Batista Bomb for the three count.  Sting has been eliminated.  Redeemer attacks Batista from behind, but Batista fights him off and eliminates him after a power slam.  Ric Stone tries his luck and Batista power slams him and out of the match.  Jericho tries his luck and attempts a rana but Batista power bombs him to the mat for yet another elimination.  At the 25 minute mark, we have 7 left.  Triple H has been very cautious about getting into this match.  Christian tries Batista, but a power slam tells Christian to get out and warm up for his match with Paul London.  Both Eddie & Triple H are still in there.  Guerrero spots Trips and is going to after him, until Kane nails Guerrero with a flying lariat and pins Eddie.  Batista kicks Kane, and nails Kane with the Batista Bomb and Kane is gone.  Six eliminations for Batista.  At the 40 minute mark, we are down to four.  Booker T, Triple H, Chris Benoit and Batista.  Batista goes after Triple H, and Booker and Benoit go at it.  Benoit gets Booker in a standing crossface, but Booker gets out of it and nails Benoit with the Scissor Kick.  Is it enough?  Yes.  Benoit is eliminated, valiant effort.  Down to three.  Batista throws Booker T over the top rope.  Triple H picks his spot and catches Batista with the Pedigree, eliminating the big man.  We're down to two.  Booker gets back in.  It's been almost an hour.  Trips attacks, but Booker moves.  Booker slams Trips head into the turnbuckle.  He comes off the ropes and nails Trips with the Scissor Kick.  He goes for the cover, but only gets a two count.  Booker gets up and goes for a somersault leg drop, but Trips counters it with a super plex.  Trips goes for a knee drop, but Booker moves.  Booker performs a Spinneroony, but Trips catches him with a Pedigree, and nails it.  He covers.  1.....................2.....................3.  It's over.  Almost 70 minutes of action and Trips will get his chance at the World Heavyweight Championship, but he can't look past Eddie Guerrero.

MATCH #2
FOUR CORNERS MATCH
FOR THE VACANT CeWF WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES
SCOTT STEINER & TRACEY SMOTHERS VS THE HARDY BOYZ VS HARDCORE HOLLY & BAM BAM BIGELOW VS THE DUDLEY BOYS
This is elimination style.  It starts as an all-out brawl and it is all back and forth action for about 20 minutes.  Eventually Bubba and Smothers end up on the outside.  Bubba is going to power bomb him through the table.  The ref tries to talk him out of it, but it doesn't work.  Smothers goes through a table.  The ref calls for the bell.  The Dudleys have been eliminated at 21 minutes.  Jeff Hardy attacks Smothers on the outside.  They go at it for four minutes before Smothers nails Jeff with a low blow.  The ref catches him and calls for the bell.  Smothers & Steiner have been disqualified.  Two DQ's in a four corners match already.  It comes down to Holly & Bigelow and The Hardys.  Jeff tags Matt, then goes after Bigelow and takes him out of the ring.  Holly charges, but Matt catches him in the Twist of Fate.  Matt then goes to the top rope and nails him with a flying legdrop.  The crowd counts with him.  1...2...3.  The Hardy Boyz are the first CeWF World Tag Team Champions.  Jeff & Matt celebrate and chill with the crowd before heading to the back.

THE LEGEND KILLER SPEAKS
Randy Orton has words for the camera.
"I have made my entire career out of proving that I am better than any legend that professional wrestling has produced.  Terry Funk, tonight, you become the next notch in the belt of the Legend Killer.  Do you remember when I beat Mick Foley?  Your best friend Terry.  I beat him in his own environment.  Thumbtacks, barbed wire, tables, chairs, it does not matter.  It does not compare to the lethality of the RKO.  Terry, you aren't what you used to be.  You are a mere shell.  You are almost old enough to file for social security Terry.  I am the youngest World Champion in wrestling history.  I have the agility, determination, and the fortitude to prove that I am in every sense of the word, better than you Terry.  You want to talk about hardcore?  I am hardcore.  Tonight, a new Hardcore Legend is born."

The cleaning crew comes into change the canvas while we watch a highlight package of Christian and Paul London, including London's use of the horn.

HEAR NO EVIL?
Christian is in the locker room.  An agent informs him that is match is next, but Christian just ignores him.  Christian finally notices him and yells in the guy's face (not because he's obnoxious, but because he has gone temporarily deaf).  Christian leaves for his match.

MATCH #4
PAUL LONDON VS CHRISTIAN
Christian walks down the aisle trying to listen to his theme music, but can't.  London gets in the ring, and Christian just stands there.  He yells at the referee.  Christian says the bell hasn't been rung yet, although we've heard it three times.  Christian attacks, but London fights right back.  He nails Christian with some shots, followed by a back body drop to the outside.  London nails Christian with a tope.  London rolls Christian back into the ring.  London attempts a springboard dropkick, but Christian moves.  He then applies a chokehold to London, but Christian can't hear the count.  The referee literally pulls him off, and Christian thinks the referee has a vendetta.  He backs the referee into a corner.  The referee pushes back into a roll up from London, but only gets a two count.  Christian gets up first and nails London with a clothesline.  He smiles and points to his head, because he thinks he's smarter than London.  He picks London up and nails him with a backbreaker.  He covers but only gets two.  Christian picks London up, and sets up for the Unprettier.  He almost gets it, but London kicks up and grabs hold of the turnbuckle with his legs.  The momentum allows London to flip over and land on his feet.  Christian turns around and London nails him with a earringer.  It's kind of funny, and you can't help but feel sorry for Christian.  London nails him with a face slam, followed by the 450 Splash.  It's over.  London wins.  Christian remains in the ring because he hasn't heard the ending bell.  Someone comes in and gets him.  It's Edge, whose arm is in a sling.  He helps his brother out of the ring to the back.

Paul London pinned Christian with the 450 Splash in 0:05:28.

ROB VAN DAM VS KURT ANGLE VS TRIPLE H
Rob nails HHH with kicks, and then sweeps HHH legs' out from under him.  He nails Triple H with the Rolling Thunder, followed by a split-legged moonsault.   Kurt Angle is taking his time getting in the ring.  Two minutes later, an exhausted Triple H receives a Northern Lights Suplex from Rob Van Dam, and surprisingly, it gets a three count.  Trips has been eliminated.  All that work just to be eliminated within five minutes.  Seems like such a disappointment.  We come down to Rob Van Dam and Kurt Angle.  Angle gets in the ring, and we have a real match.  They lock up and RVD hiptosses Angle across the ring.  Angle gets back up and RVD arm-drags him to the opposite side.  Angle gets back up again, and gives Kurt a drop-toe hold, and moves over to a side headlock.  Angle gets back up, and brings RVD to the ropes.  He whips RVD in, and Angle lays down.  RVD jumps over him, and Angle gets up.  Angle tries a hip toss, but RVD blocks it and nails Angle with a series of kicks, followed by a flip, but Angle meets him with a clothesline.  Angle covers, but only a two count.  Angle picks RVD up and nails him with a standing suplex.  Another cover.  Only two.  Angle picks RVD up again, and hooks both arms.  Angle connects with a double underhook suplex into a pinning combination.  He only gets two because RVD counters with a double leg hook for two.  Angle gets RVD in a triangle pin, but that is only two.  Both men get up, and turn around.  RVD nails Angle with a gutwrench suplex.  RVD comes off the ropes and nails Angle with the turning legdrop.  RVD goes for a cover, but gets two.  RVD picks Angle up, and goes for a suplex, but Angle slips out of it.  He grabs a hold of RVD, and nails him with a waist-lock suplex.  Angle finally gets control and starts stomping away at the ankle of Rob Van Dam.  He wraps the leg around his and wrenches it back and forth.  He stomps at it, then picks RVD up.  He nails RVD with a side suplex that puts pressure on RVD's ankle.  Angle puts RVD's ankle on the bottom rope and jumps up and down it, not once, not twice, but three times.  Angle applies a leg lock, and RVD screams in pain.  RVD turns it around, but Angle turns it right back around.  They start rolling around until Angle finally lets go.  RVD gets up as does Angle.  Angle catches a leg from RVD, but RVD nails him with an enziguri.  RVD gets up and tries for Rolling Thunder, but Angle moves.  Angle gets up and applies the Ankle Lock, but RVD counters with a cradle for a close two count.  Angle gets up, and goes for an Angle Slam, but RVD slips out and nails Angle with a reverse face slam.  RVD signals for the Five-Star.  He goes to the top, but Angle gets up there and nails RVD with a super belly-to-belly suplex.  The straps on Angle's singlet have come down.  He starts stomping away at RVD's ankle.  He rolls RVD to the outside.  Angle picks up RVD's ankle and rams it into the ringsteps.  He then attempts to sandwich the ankle between the steps, but RVD moves.  RVD gets up quickly and nails Angle with an asai moonsault.  Eventually both men get back in the ring, but it is RVD who is up first.  RVD nails Angle with a t-bone suplex into a pin.  RVD only gets two.  He can't believe it.  He picks Angle up, and whips Angle into the ropes.  RVD tries for a monkey flip, but Angle throws him off and grabs RVD's legs.  He cradles him and Angle has his feet on the ropes.  The ref counts two until he sees it, and Angle thinks he's won it.  Angle is celebrating, and doesn't see RVD get up.  As Angle turns around, RVD nails him with a shining wizard.  RVD signals for the Five-Star again.  He climbs the ropes, and calls it out.  He flies, but Angle gets the knees up.  Angle gets up and applies the Ankle Lock.  RVD can't go anywhere.  He's struggling.  RVD eventually twists out of it.  RVD runs to the top rope again for a Five-Star, but Angle is up too.  He nails RVD with a Super Angle Slam.  Angle goes back to applying the Ankle Lock.  RVD is fading fast.  He's trying to get to the ropes.  He gets there.  The ref is counting for Angle to break the hold.  As the ref gets to four, Angle pulls RVD back to the center of the ring.  He screams out in pain.  RVD taps!!!  It's over.  Kurt Angle is the first CeWF World Heavyweight Champion.  A stream of confetti and balloons fall from the ceiling.  Scott Baron hands the title to Kurt, then promptly leaves.  Kurt celebrates as the show ends.

Triangle Match for the vacant CeWF World Heavyweight Title:
Kurt Angle defeated Rob Van Dam and Triple H:
x RVD beat Triple H via a Northern Lights suplex in 0:04:16
x K. Angle beat RVD via the Ankle Lock in 0:26:31
Rating: *** 1/4
(Kurt Angle won the CeWF World Heavyweight Title.)

NOTES:
All hail Kurt Angle for he is the first CeWF World Heavvyweight Champion.  You can bet this won't sit right for Triple H who went through 14 other men over the course of an hour to earn a shot.  The only word that can describe Triple H tonight is karma.

Eddie Guerrero couldn't be more upset with the way that his match with Triple H went.  You can be sure that Eddie isn't done with Triple H yet.

Christian's pleas have fallen on "deaf" ears.  His handicap definitely puts him at a disadvantage.  What will Edge's help do for him?

Randy Orton proved beyond the shadow of doubt that he is in fact hardcore.  That sick shot with the barbed wire bat is definitely going to haunt the minds of fans for years to come.

We have our first set of Tag Team Champions in Matt and Jeff Hardy.  How will they do as champs?  Only time will tell.

Our next event is entitled "Hostile Intentions" and it will emanate from Memphis.  It will serve as build up for our March event, which is going to be our granddaddy event entitled WrestleRock.

On the next episode of Live!, we will crown the first ever CeWF Hollywood Champion with a 15-Man Over The Top Rope Battle Royal.

Wow... a 64-minute curtain jerker. :)  HHH wins, but I think Batista came out as the real star, absolutely dominating the middle parts of that match with all his eliminations.

Awww... I was hoping Bam Bam and Holly would pull it off.  Fiddlesticks.  I have a large dislike for Jeff Hardy, so sad to see him holding gold.  Ah well.

Ewww... the bat was stuck in his head!?  Yowwie.  That was an awesome match, and it put Orton over huge.  Very well done.

Poor deaf Christian.  At least you keep WWE's continuity better than they did and keep Edge and Christian brothers.

If HHH's plan was to get himself DQ'ed, I'm surprised he let the match go on as long as he did before he did it.  Silly silly Trips.

Great main event seeing Kurt Angle take the title.  Always a good wrestler to build your circuit around.  Very good event; I am highly impressed.  Keep them coming.
