Results of RW: 12/6/2006 - Monday 9MM:

-A barrel sits in the middle of the ring, there is 12 ping-pong balls in it. JJ Dillon walks out. The premise is JJ is drawing the pools for tonight's elimination matches for the Lord of the Revolver tournament.

Group 1 - Chris Benoit, The Giant, Razor Ramon
Group 2 - Animal, Ric Flair, Eddie Guerrero
Group 3 - Mankind, Randy Savage, Rick Rude
Group 4 - Owen Hart, Sting, The Ultimate Warrior

Kevin Sullivan storms out to the ring, demanding that Hogan face a member of the Dungeon tonight. Dillon agrees on the condition that it isn't himself or The Giant.

- Backstage, Sting is confronting Hogan about not coming to help. Hogan says that he couldn't because he was locked in the locker room. Sting seems to believe Hogan.

CIMA vs Dean Malenko
This match came about due to CIMA interfering in Malenko's match with Chris Jericho for the Cruiserweight Title. Anyway, this match was progressing nicely when Chris Jericho decided to appear at ringside. CIMA was distracted which almost caused Malenko to get the win with a roll-up. Jericho started interfering in the match and ending being caught by the referee when he dragged CIMA's neck across the top rope.
CIMA defeated Dean Malenko by disqualification in 0:06:44.

-Diesel came out to the ring, saying he could beat anyone, anytime, anywhere. This brought JJ Dillon out who told Diesel who could do that, but not tonight. Dillon also informed Diesel that Ken Kennedy suffered severe facial fractures as a result of last week, and as such Diesel is suspended from wrestling anyone in Revolver Wrestling until Ken Kennedy's injuries heal.

- Goldust is sitting down with Mankind looking at a Playboy. "Dust, don't you like these?" "Yeh, but I love Rick..." "Girls, Girls, Girls... I'm gonna get you someone girls." Ultimate Warrior comes on the scene and asks whats happening. There is a wrench behind his back. Mankind explains he is taking Goldust to a brothel to get a taste of girls. "Wanna come". Warrior nods. When Mankind turns his back on the Warrior, Warrior smacks him on the head with the wrench. Goldust turns around.. "Shhh, It's a game" says Warrior.

Lord of the Revolver Eliminator
Chris Benoit vs Razor Ramon vs The Giant (w/ Raven)

The first of eliminator saw an interesting group. Benoit, despite being at a huge size disadvantage really took the fight to The Giant, while Razor just tried to hide in the corner. Only sticking his head to try and get a couple of pinfalls. Eventually, The Giant turned the tide and started taking control of the match. He really focused on going after Razor. When he caught him, it was a chokeslam and Razor Ramon had been eliminated from the tournament.
Triangle Match:
The Giant defeated Chris Benoit and Razor Ramon when Giant pinned Ramon with the Choke Slam in 0:05:57.

-JJ Dillon came out again and said that the result of the following match between The Steiner Brothers and The Godwinns would determine how he fued the tag title situation. He stayed on commentary.

World Tag Team Title Match
The Steiner Brothers(c) vs The Godwinns

This match was made because of the impressive showing since the Godwinns debuted here in Revolver. The Steiners seemed a little disjointed after their series of singles match losses over the past month. The Godwinns used this to gain the early momentum that was until Hunter Hearst Helmsley and William Regal, The Blue Bloods, showed up to ringside. The Steiners used to their advantage, got on the same page and worked at beating the challengers. However, Henry and Phinneas got back into the match and started to assert themselves, that was when Triple H distracted the referee and allowed William Regal to hit Phinneas with the slop bucket. Rick Steiner hit the top rope bulldog and this was over. The Blue Bloods and The Steiners stayed clear of each other as their history is well documented.
The Steiner Brothers (Rick Steiner and Scott Steiner) defeated The Godwinns (Henry Godwinn and Phinneas Godwinn) when R. Steiner pinned P. Godwinn after the Top Rope Bulldog in 0:13:19.
Rating: 3/4*
(The Steiner Brothers retained the World Tag Team Titles.)

-JJ Dillon on commentary saw all of this. And as such ordered that the Blue Bloods fight the Godwinns at Lord of the Revolver. He then said that due to tonight's match and the past performances The Steiners would defend the tag titles against... The British Bulldogs... and The Hart Foundation... and The Rockers. He then said he doesn't want to have to come back out here tonight AGAIN!

-Ric Flair is in the Horsemen locker room telling them not to screw things up tonight, so he wants them to stay in here. They all agree. Flair walks out of the locker room and bumps into Randy Savage and Elizabeth. He looks her up and down which draws Savage's ire, but Flair walks of all calm.

Lord of the Revolver Eliminator
Animal vs Eddie Guerrero vs Ric Flair

A good little match here. Animal and Eddie Guerrero have som past history involving the IC Title, but none of that was on display today as they went at each other equally as hard they went at Ric Flair. A couple fo times, Flair was seen looking to the back, on one of these occasions it allowed Animal hit him with the powerslam for the 1.2.3. Which Eddie made no attempt to break up as he knew it would put him into the next stage of the tournament.
Triangle Match:
Animal defeated Ric Flair and Eddie Guerrero when Animal pinned R. Flair with the Powerslam in 0:06:08.

Chris Jericho(Cruiserweight Champion) vs Raven (w/ Shark Boy) Non-Title Match
Shark Boy tripped Jericho at the start of the match to allow Raven to come out on offence. After that Jericho used his guile and slightly superior speed to garner himself a slight advantage. At that point CIMA ran out and distratced Jericho, this brought Raven back into the game and allowed him to finish off Jericho with his Evenflow DDT, which he is now calling the Raven Effect.
Raven pinned Chris Jericho with the Raven Effect in 0:07:59.
Rating: *** 1/2

-Ric Flair is in the Horsemen dressing room tearing shreds into his stablemates. "Why didn't you help me out there. I told you not to screw things up" He paces back and and forth demanding and answer. Finally, Luger pipes up "You told us to stay in here". Flair shakes his head and mutters under his breath.

Lord of the Revolver Eliminator
Mankind vs Randy Savage(w/ Elizabeth) vs Rick Rude

Another solid match tonight. Mankind was doing some weird things tonight. Namely his Ultimate Warrior impersonation whenever he hit an offensive move, which lead to him him being beaten up quite a lot in this match. Goldust came out to watch the match, which obviously freaked Rick Rude out. Towards the end of the match, Mankinddecided to sit in the corner and talk to his hand. Savage took control of the match, and when he was about to his the Flying Elbowdrop, Goldust slid into the ring and started beating on Rick Rude. This lead to Savage being DQ'd. Savage was ropable, but Elizabeth calmed him down. After that Goldust picked Rude up and then told him he didn't love him anymore... Rude was shocked at first and then shouted for joy. He skipped all the way to the back clicking his heels. Mankind and Goldust left together, which Mankind asking his hand if he should still take Goldust to the brothel...
Triangle Match:
Rick Rude defeated Randy Savage and Mankind when Rude defeated Savage by disqualification in 0:13:13.
Rating: ** 3/4

-Kevin Sullivan and Raven are exchanging tactics backstage talking about how to crush Hogan tonight. They say they should lock Sting in the locker room like they did to Hogan last week.

Lord of the Revolver Eliminator
Owen Hart(Intercontinental Champion) vs Sting vs The Ultimate Warrior

An interesting match. Sting was very aggressive tonight, but seemed to b hurting when he pulled off any high impact moves. The Warrior was his usual nut bag self, while Owen let both men fight themselves to a stand still, mainly just convincing Sting or The Warrior to attack the other when ever they decided Owen would be free game. Mankind came running out at the end of the match, to tell the Warrior he had to come with Goldust and himself to the brothel. Warrior was distracted by this which allowed Sting to his the Scorpion Death Drop for the win.
Triangle Match:
Sting defeated Owen Hart and The Ultimate Warrior when Sting pinned U. Warrior with the Scorpion Death Drop in 0:08:21.
Rating: 3/4*

Main Event
Hulk Hogan vs Kurrgan

Here we are again. Main Event time. Kurrgan in the main event again.. Kurrgan was his usual strong ass, bad working ox. He is also crazy. Kurrgan dominated this match until Hogan hit his typical Hulk-UP! He nailed Kurrgan with a clothesline, big boot, Big Leg Drop and then this match was all she wrote. As the bell was ringing, Kevin Sullivan and the Dungeon sprint down to the ring and start stomping on Hogan. But, they are chased off when Sting hits the scene baseball bat in hand. Guess, they couldn't lock him in. He chases them off and helps Hogan to his feet we end the show with lots of finger pointing as Hogan and Sullivan gesticulate at each other.
Hulk Hogan pinned Kurrgan with the Big Leg Drop in 0:08:06.

KagePosted on 01/12/06 at 07:24:49

The main event scene is always booked, but the rest of it is a little bit of this and a little bit of that... mainly I just hit 'r' until I get the result I'm happy with...

so both s the answer
