[Lord of the Revolver Qualifier]:
Jeff Hardy vs "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair

An odd match to start off tonight, it wasn't a bad little thing. Flair really had control of the match until Hardy hit a couple of hope spots. This brought the rest of the Horsemen to the ring. Tully Blanchard and Lex Luger went to take out Hardy with a double chair shot, but Hardy moved and they collected Flair. Arn Anderson shook his head in disbelief ands then cold cocked Flair accidentally with a pair of knucks. The result, the Horsemen sent away from ringside and Flair taking longer than he should have to beat Hardy. But, once he locked on that figure-four is was all over.
Ric Flair made Jeff Hardy submit to the Figure-Four Leglock in 0:13:07.

This match just served to make the sure the Godwinns just some victories under their belt. The Godwinns were just too organised for Shane and Venis and easily dispatched of them with the Slop Drop. After the match the Blue Bloods came out and politely asked the Godwinns to stay in the ring and watch the display they had for them. Cruiserweight Title Match
Chris Jericho(c) vs Dean Malenko

There is a little bit of history to this match. It all revolves around jealousy.... But, anyway Malenko earned this match due to ridiculous complex rules involving chaos matches. Anyway, Malenko had lost the belt to Jericho and was intent on winning it back tonight and really dominated Jericho for the duration of the match, but when Jericho rolled to the outside to catch a breath, his current nemesis, CIMA jumped the guardrail hit Jericho with a DDT and kept Malenko distracted long enough for the referee to count Jericho out.
Dean Malenko defeated Chris Jericho by countout in 0:04:54.

-Hogan is in the locker room with Sting telling him he'll watch his back from The Dungeon for him.

MAIN EVENT
Kurrgan vs Sting

Kurrgan came out alone and that was probably a bad thing for Sting as Kurrgan was uncontrollable and literally tossed Sting around the ring. Eventually, Kevin Sullivan and Raven came out to watch Kurrgan destroy Sting. Kurrgan saw them and clapped(HUH?) Sting took this opportunity and nailed Kurrgan with his Scorpion Death Drop. One. Two. Three. Sullivan motioned for the Dungeon to come out. Every member of The Dungeon his the ring and took turns beating down Sting and then hitting their finisher on him. Raven set a tabe up in the ring amid the kerfuffle. The Giant chokeslammed Sting through the table and we're outta time...

OK, so I get up to speed, how does the Lord of the Revolver work exactly - with twelve men, I'm guessing it's not single elimination.
KagePosted on 01/11/06 at 05:56:29

twelve qualifiers are "randomly" grouped into 4 pools of three. each pool has a single-fall triangle match to determine who is eliminated from the pool. The remaining eight go onto the single elimination tournament at the Lord of the Revolver PPV....
