[GCW] High Voltage - 3/6/05

Match #1
Shark Boy vs. "The Italian Stallion" Chuck Palumbo
After being absolutely decimated by Kurt Angle on Explosion, Shark Boy was looking to save face on High Voltage against Chuck Palumbo. Now Shark Boy is a little eccentric in his own right, don't get me wrong, but Palumbo is absolutely out of his mind. Despite having the clear size and strength advantage, he seemed more interested in doing his usual goofy stuff, allowing Shark Boy to pick up the win.

Shark Boy pinned Chuck Palumbo with the Dead Sea Drop in 0:08:50.
Rating: *** 1/4

Match #2
Justin Credible vs. Jerrelle Clark (unsigned)
Justin Credible has his final shot to make weight for a Cruiserweight Title shot tomorrow night, but he was looking to drop a little extra weight in this match against Jerrelle Clark. Clark had a great opportunity to turn some heads by getting some national exposure with GCW, but despite looking sharp, tonight wouldn't be his night as Credible hit the That's Incredible for the duke.

Justin Credible pinned Jerrelle Clark with the That's Incredible in 0:07:22.
Rating: ** 1/2

Match #3
MAIN EVENT
Non-Title Match
The World's Greatest Tag Team (World Tag Team champions) vs. Matt Morgan/Rob Conway
Our main event pitted the World Tag Team champions, Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas, against the first time team of Matt Morgan and Rob Conway in non-title action. Since Morgan and Conway had never teamed up before, it was obvious that the WGTT were looking past them to tomorrow night where they will defend the World Tag Team Titles against the Basham Brothers, and in doing so, they left the door wide open for Morgan and Conway. The champions got everything they could handle and more, including Conway almost hitting the Ego Trip on Benjamin, but the champs finally got their act together and pulled off a victory that was a lot more difficult than anyone expected.

The World's Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin) defeated Matt Morgan and Rob Conway when C. Haas made Conway submit to the Haas of Pain in 0:12:06.
Rating: ***

The World's Greatest Tag Team is going to have to perform better than this tomorrow night against the Basham Brothers because the Bashams are experienced enough to capitalize on a lackluster performance.
