A superb video package opened Hammerlock's final super show of the year, Winter Wonderslam. The video focused mainly on Ben Winter's lengthy and arduous pursuit of Jason Prentice's NWA-UK Hammerlock Heavyweight Championship. As the Winter Wonderslam official theme song - "Modern Way" by the Kaiser Chiefs - played the camera panned around the Coventry Skydome, which was crammed with throngs of Hammerlock fans. Chris Freeman and Adam Wheeler welcomed viewers to the show and ran down the card as Young Posso Fleeto No.1's Dunky and Biscuit, along with Kirsty, made their way out for the opening contest, a four corners match to determine the number one contenders to the Hammerlock tag straps, which also features the Hammersmith Hard Men, the Bodysnatchers and La Cosa Nostra.

#1 Contenders Tag Team Four Corners Match:
La Cosa Nostra vs. The Bodysnatchers vs. The Hammersmith Hard Men vs. Dunky and Biscuit

As Dunky and Biscuit swaggered around the ring and challenged several ringsiders to a fight, "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" by Green Day hit and the roof almost blew off the Skydome. "The Iceman" Ben Winter made his way out from the back with Victoria Silvstedt by his side. The announcers were unsure as to why Winter was out here as the four corners tag bout was scheduled. Winter climbed into the ring and decked the NEDs with a double clothesline. He picked up Dunky, kneed him in the gut and planted him with a Sky High. Biscuit took a boot to the midsection and a Rock Bottom. The Iceman Gorilla Pressed both NEDs out of the ring and called for the microphone. Winter warned that the show would not continue until he was given a shot at the NWA-UK Hammerlock Heavyweight Championship tonight. The crowd popped as The Iceman demanded that Jason Prentice, Peter Abram or any other Hammerlock suit get out here and make it official.

Linda O'Neil appeared at the entrance way with a mic. She said that Winter may as well go home, because his Christmas wish wasn't going to come true. Linda claimed Winter had received his shot at the title and he blew it. Winter cut her off and said he hadn't asked her to come out. Winter took a chair from ringside and set it up in the ring so he could take a seat. He said he wasn't going anywhere and told Prentice to stop hiding behind his bitch.

With that remark, Jason Prentice quickly emerged from the back. He said that the last time he was in the ring with Winter, he was almost killed. Prentice added that he "convincingly" defeated Winter at Collision Course so as far as he was concerned, The Iceman was at the bottom of the rankings. Suddenly, GBH stormed into the ring and struck Winter in the back of the head with a clothesline, sending him out of his chair. GBH began wearing the chair out on the fallen Winter's back as the crowd voiced their disapproval.

The Machiavellian Prentice then had a remarkable change of heart. Knowing full well that The Iceman had just been brutally beaten down, Prentice stated that if Winter could defeat GBH right now, then he would get a title shot tonight. Smirking, Jason Prentice called for the bell.

Match highlights:
This unscheduled bout between two of the biggest and baddest men in Hammerlock began as a straight-up fight before The Iceman took control with a hard clothesline. Winter took GBH down with the Thin Ice springboard clothesline. GBH came back with a kneelift and scored a two count with a T-Bone suplex. Jason Prentice was clearly on edge as he watched on nervously at ringside. The match spilled out to the floor, where Winter and GBH took turns in ramming each other's heads into the timekeeper's table. Winter dropped GBH with a Rock Bottom. GBH used the ring ropes and his boot to choke The Iceman. Winter speared GBH which drew an almighty pop from the crowd. Jason Prentice's devious plan was crumbling before his eyes. The Iceman called for the Deep Freeze, but Prentice hit the ring and KOed Winter with the Heavyweight Title belt for the DQ.

Ben Winter defeated GBH by disqualification in 0:05:48.

[Jason Prentice interfered against Ben Winter.]

Jason Prentice's plan may not have gone smoothly but the desired outcome may still be the same. Although Ben Winter had just won a Heavyweight Title Match for later tonight, it did not look likely that he would be able to compete as he lay motionless on the canvas. Victoria Silvstedt looked on, clearly concerned, as several officials and road agents came out to help The Iceman to the back. Winter was clearly disorientated and a hush descended upon the capacity crowd.

Chris Freeman and Adam Wheeler attempted to compose themselves and get their focus back on the show, but it was about to get disrupted again as The Mitchell Brothers, Chris and Ryan, made their way down to the ring. Chris took the microphone and said that ever since they joined this company, their goal was to get to the top as quickly as possible. He added that if an opportunity presented itself, they would grab it with both hands. It was for that very reason, Chris said, that they were going to take the NEDs' place in the number one contenders' four corners tag team match...and they were going to win it. So it will now be The Mitchell Brothers vs. The Hammersmith Hard Men vs. The Bodysnatchers vs. La Cosa Nostra with a shot at the Tag Team Titles up for grabs.

Match highlights:
Ryan Mitchell executed a nice tiger suplex on Bodysnatcher Burke. Burke came back with a short lariat on Ryan. Matteo Saronni worked over Burke's left leg with a kneebar. Burke planted Manuel Majoli with a spinebuster for a near fall. La Cosa Nostra hit the Kiss of Death on Burke, but with it being one fall to a finish Gaz Phillips made the save. Phillips used the Ungentlemanly Conduct pumphandle powerslam on a weary Burke but Chris Mitchell broke up the pin attempt. Bodysnatcher Blair earned a two count on Phillips with a powerslam and again with a power bomb. Blair piledrove Chris Mitchell and then the Bodysnatchers drilled him with a double DDT. Chris fired back with a Death Valley Driver on Burke and went for the tap out with the Mitchell Lock, a modified Stretch Muffler. However, Gaz Phillips saved the Bodysnatcher by kicking Chris in the head. The finish came when Chris Mitchell turned in mid-air and landed on Burke when Burke attempted a back suplex. Majoli couldn't make the save in time and Chris scored the pinfall. The Mitchell Brothers, who weren't even supposed to be in the match, are now the number one contenders to the NWA-UK Hammerlock Tag Team Titles.

Number-One-Contenders-Four Corners Match:
The Mitchell Brothers (Chris Mitchell and Ryan Mitchell) defeated
La Cosa Nostra (Manuel Majoli and Matteo Saronni),
The Bodysnatchers (Bodysnatcher Burke and Bodysnatcher Blair) and
The Hammersmith Hard Men (Gaz Phillips and Rick Knight) when Chris pinned Burke
after a cross-body block in 0:15:01.

A tremendous win for the ever-impressive Mitchell Brothers, who will now be watching tonight's Tag Team Title Match between The New Young Lions and The Boryokudan with great interest.

The next contest of Winter Wonderslam was a singles contest pitting "The Pride of East London" Ian Powers, along with Leilani, against high-flying Spanish sensation Muerte de Antedicho. There is history to this one as on our last live show Antedicho defeated Powers by DQ when Leilani shoved him off the top rope. Before the match began, Antedicho handed ring announcer Steve Lytton a piece of paper. Lytton read it and announced that after consultation with Antedicho, Hammerlock president Peter Abram had decreed that for this bout, managers would be barred from ringside! Leilani was beside herself with rage and the fans serenaded her with, "Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey-ey, goodbye!" as she begrudgingly left. Powers argued with the ring announcer and the referee, but it was to no avail.

Match highlights:
If Ian Powers was affected by the loss of his manager, he wasn't showing it as he punished Muerte de Antedicho with an exploder suplex and a double arm DDT. Antedicho hit Powers with a ropeflip moonsault but missed another moonsault from the second turnbuckle. That gave Powers the opportunity to plant Antedicho with a choke slam for a close fall. Antedicho hit an amazing Asai moonsault onto Powers at ringside. However, as Antedicho returned to the ring Powers surprised him with a lightning-quick spinebuster and grabbed a handful of tights for the win. The self-professed "Pride of East London" was greeted with vociferous boos from the crowd.

Match with Managers Banned From Ringside:
Ian Powers pinned Muerte de Antedicho after a spinebuster slam in 0:04:32.

Backstage, the doctors and trainers were tending to Ben Winter. Kelly talked to one of the doctors, who said that Winter was dizzy, there was an increased size in one of his pupils and his right arm felt unusually weak. The doctor said that Winter had all the signs and symptoms of a concussion but he couldn't diagnosis how serious it was until he goes to hospital for a CT scan. The frustrated doctor added that Winter was refusing to go and was restless, agitated and irritable.

The NWA-UK Hammerlock Tag Team Titles were on the line next as The New Young Lions defend against Boryokudan members Minobu Katsuoka and Takayoshi Matsuhei. The problems between these two teams, which started when Katsuoka and Matsuhei took exception when the New Young Lions stuck their noses in their business with Jawaid Kaleeq, have escalated in recent weeks and exploded into a full blown feud. The young Japanese superstars are extremely dangerous individuals and even more treacherous as a team. Can they get their first taste of Hammerlock gold tonight?

Match highlights:
This eagerly-awaited Tag Team Title Match was action packed from start to finish. Minobu Katsuoka laid out Kyle Coulbourne early with a power bomb. Katsuoka dropped Coulbourne with a lariat and then Takayoshi Matsuhei followed up with a flying spinning leg lariat. Matsuhei used a dragon suplex for two and a title change seemed to be on the cards. The New Young Lions got back into it when Coulbourne took Matsuhei down with a swinging neckbreaker which earned a two count. Matsuhei spiked Brandon Alvarez with a brain buster. Alvarez picked up a couple of near falls on Katsuoka with a German suplex and a Northern Lights suplex. Coulbourne almost put Katsuoka away with a beautiful Frankensteiner. Matsuhei was able to block Alvarez's DDT-Squared but was on the receiving end of the Double Flatliner. The bout would have been over right then and there had Katsuoka not been there to make the save for his partner. Alvarez kicked out of Katsuoka's version of the Ace Crusher, the Stardust Revolution. Alvarez rallied though and pinned Katsuoka with a flying cross body press. The New Young Lions retain their gold, outlasting the Boryokudan in this hard-fought title defence.

Scottie Hero interview.
"Hero" by Nickelback hit and Scottie Hero hobbled out, with the aid of a crutch, to a nice ovation. Hero had been sidelined since September with a fractured leg sustained in a four corners match. Hero clambered into the ring, where Kelly was waiting to interview him. Hero said that his recuperation was going well and that he was ahead of schedule. He said that it felt great that he was down to one crutch, but was disappointed to still be relying on a crutch at Christmas. Kelly asked him when we could expect him back competing in a Hammerlock ring. Hero claimed that he'd be back sooner than you think. He thanked the fans for all their support and said that he had some unfinished business...
All of a sudden, Anthony DeAngelo hit the ring and dropped Hero with a hard lariat. Kelly quickly scurried out of the ring as DeAngelo was jeered out of the building. Serenity had challenged DeAngelo to start making an impact at out last live show and it appeared he was doing so again at Winter Wonderslam. DeAngelo continued his cowardly attack on the injured Hero by blasting him with the Bump 'n Grind Famouser. DeAngelo hit Hero across the back with the crutch and threatened to attack Hero's broken leg when Steve Bailey made the save. These two were scheduled for a match this evening so the bell sounded, evening though the bout was not scheduled for right now!

Match highlights:
Steve Bailey was still seething from the recent beatdown he received from Anthony DeAngelo and he smacked around the former porn star in the early going. DeAngelo stopped Bailey in his tracks with a backbreaker and hit the Bump 'n Grind. Bailey almost won the contest with a rana and then a top-rope Frankensteiner. DeAngelo slowed the pace with a sleeper and later executed a vertical suplex on the floor. Bailey countered the 69er Driver with an inverted DDT. DeAngelo seized the crutch that had been brought out by Hero earlier and jabbed Bailey in the throat with it behind the referee's back. DeAngelo promptly connected with the X-Spot for the tainted win.

Anthony DeAngelo pinned Steve Bailey with the X-Spot in 0:09:15.

Backstage, Ben Winter was still being treated by doctors. They were reluctant to let him wrestle this evening. One of the doctors told Kelly that the treatment for a concussion is usually to watch the person closely for any change in level of consciousness. The doctor wanted Winter to go to hospital and stay there for close observation. The Iceman stormed out of the room, claiming that there was no chance of that happening.

Scheduled up next is the No Holds Barred Match between Dan Stirling and Martyn Sullivan. This one started when former World Kickboxing Champion Dan Stirling showed up at a Hammerlock show and questioned the integrity of professional wrestling. Martyn Sullivan took it upon himself to defend the sport he loves and a violent feud erupted between the two. Hammerlock officials decided that the only way to end this one is to have a match where there are no rules. There is a real possibility that someone will end up seriously hurt after this one is all said and done.

Match highlights:
Previous encounters between these two showed that they couldn't keep by the rules, so for tonight's bout between Martyn Sullivan and Dan Stirling the rulebook was thrown right out the window. After starting off as a straight-up fight, Sullivan took over with a stiff kick to the head and executed a German suplex for a near fall. Stirling punished Sullivan with a tight Ziplock. Sullivan dropkicked Stirling off the ring apron and into the safety barrier. Stirling tied up Sullivan in a painful double armbar. The Air Devil connected with a nice flying cross body onto Stirling at ringside. The two men continued their fight outside the confines of the squared circle. Back in the ring, Sullivan connected with a flying forearm on Dangerous Dan which earned a two count. Dan the Man was ultimately able to nail Martyn Sullivan with a spinning thrust kick right between the eyes for the win. Sullivan was completely knocked out. A dramatic end to a great brawl.

[No Holds Barred]: No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Match:
Dan Stirling pinned Martyn Sullivan with the Dangerous K.O. Kick in 0:07:27.

Backstage, Kelly caught up with a severely pissed off Steve Bailey. Bailey said that Anthony DeAngelo's actions tonight were disgusting. He condemned DeAngelo's attack on the injured Scottie Hero, saying that the former porn star had reached a new low. He added that DeAngelo needed to cheat to get the win in their match tonight and that proved that he was gutless. Will Gates then showed up and interrupted the interview. Gates seemingly had eyes only for Kelly as he handed her a box of chocolates. Kelly opened the box and discovered that most of the sweets had been eaten as the computer geek tried unsuccessfully to chat her up. Gates claimed that he had been a very good boy this year and produced a pathetic piece of miseltoe. He asked Kelly for a kiss. Kelly played along and told Gates to close his eyes. As Gates puckered up, Kelly walked off. After an awkward pause, the confused Gates got a shock as he opened his eyes to see an unimpressed Steve Bailey standing there. Bailey branded Gates a loser and left.

Bryan Campbell and Matt Sizemore were set to clash next at Winter Wonderslam. The Blue Chipper has been in a bit of slump recently since he lost the TV Title to Jawaid Kaleeq. A win tonight is equally important to Matt Sizemore, who has been sidetracked as of late with The Aristocrats and in particular their butler, Jeeves.

Match highlights:
Bryan Campbell scored the first near fall of this contest with a nicely executed powerslam. The Blue Chipper went on a tear with chops and clotheslines. Matt Sizemore slammed Campbell and executed the Size Matters, but Campbell draped a foot over the bottom rope. Sizemore floored Campbell with a missile dropkick. Campbell came back with a back suplex and a flying forearm for two. Sizemore countered a swinging neckbreaker with a side slam and then put the former TV champion away with a second Size Matters.

Matt Sizemore pinned Bryan Campbell with the Size Matters in 0:07:52.

A vignette aired for new Hammerlock superstar the Baglan Beast. Creepy footage was shown of the deepest darkest forests of Baglan in Newport, South Wales, where this mysterious creature is rumoured to lurk. Suddenly, a huge terrifying figure jumped out at the camera and the segment ended abruptly! The Baglan Beast is coming to Hammerlock!!

The Aristocrats, along with Major James Hewitt and their trusty bulter Jeeves, made their way down to the ring for the Aristocracy Rules Match with Junior Jones and The Punisher. Their opponents tonight had been getting the better of the snobs recently, but Cuthbert Fharquar claimed that would all change this evening. He explained the rules of this strange bout. This match can only end when one member of a team is pinned and then stays down for a ten count. Fharquar added that Major James Hewitt's cane is legal in this contest.

Match highlights:
There is certainly no love lost between these two teams and it showed as they beat the hell out of each other in this unusual match. Lord Potemkin planted The Punisher with a fisherman suplex and then power bombed him for a near fall. Potemkin used a backbreaker on The Punisher, but then Junior Jones interjected himself and ended up nailing Potemkin with the Junior Jam. Potemkin kicked out though, but then tasted a side suplex and a dragon suplex for his troubles. The Punisher dropped Cuthbert Fharquar with a hard lariat and then Jones took Fharquar down again with a blockbuster. Fharquar used the Fharquar Cutter on Jones. The Punisher pinned Fharquar with the Total Punishment, but Fharquar battled back to his feet at the count of nine. The Punisher speared Fharquar and pinned him again with a Doctor Bomb. Fharquar was receiving considerable help from Jeeves and Major James Hewitt in returning to a vertical base, but as referee Stuart Barnes approached ten with his count, Lord Potemkin laid him out with a hard right hand. Potemkin used Hewitt's cane on The Punisher, but then Junior Jones drilled Potemkin onto the cane with a leaping swinging DDT! Jones took out Jeeves and Hewitt with the cane before pinning Potemkin, who stayed motionless for the ten count.

After the match, dissention was evident between the Aristocrats as Cuthbert Fharquar didn't bother to help his partner Lord Potemkin and left on his own.

Jason Prentice interview.
Kelly interviewed the NWA-UK Hammerlock Heavyweight Champion backstage and he was oozing with confidence. Prentice sarcastically said that he was sorry to hear about Ben Winter's concussion. He offered Winter some "friendly advice", suggesting that The Iceman should probably take the night off if he was injured. Prentice claimed that it doesn't matter if Winter takes the match or not because the result will be the same either way - Jason Prentice will still be the Heavyweight Champion.

The fans were on their feet in anticipation as the ring crew brought out a selection of tables, ladders and chairs for the next six man bout pitting the Goldie Lookin' Chain's P Xain, Mystikal and Eggsy against Kontraband, Hijinx and Shenanigans. These six high-flyers stole the show at our last live show in a Table Elimination Match. The stakes are higher tonight because hanging above the ring in this TLC Match is an envelope with a cheque inside for £30,000! Hold onto your seats - this one is going to be wild!!

Match highlights:
This Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match was one that a lot of people had been looking forward to, not least the combatants as there was an envelope with £30,000 in it - a Christmas bonus for the winning team - hanging above the ring. Hijinx backdropped Mystikal onto a ladder and hit him with a swinging DDT. Hijinx executed another DDT onto the ladder. Kontraband seized this opportunity to made a grab for the envelope but Mystikal recovered and clotheslined him off the ladder. Kontraband sent Mystikal through a table with a spectacular top-rope Frankensteiner. Hijinx stopped P Xain in his tracks and superplexed him off the ladder. Xain got revenge with a piledriver onto a chair on Hijinx. Kontraband sent a ladder into P Xain's face with a springboard dropkick. Kontraband brought Xain off the ladder with a rana. Shenanigans climbed the ladder and dropped Xain with a flying axhandle. Shenanigans executed the Monkey Business on Xain. The action was almost too fast to call as Eggsy smashed Shenanigans through a table with a dangerous swinging DDT. Eggsy set up a ladder and attempted to grab the envelope, but Hijinx stopped him with a hard chair shot to the back. Hijinx then blasted Eggsy with the Fool Proof. Kontraband took Eggsy down with a springboard rana off a chair. Hijinx and Kontraband stacked up four tables, two on either side, at ringside. They dragged Mystikal and Eggsy's limp bodies onto the top of the pile and climbed a turnbuckle each, signalling that they were going to send the GLC duo through the tables with a couple of trademark dives. Hijinx leapt off and sent both men through the wood with an amazing twisting plancha! The crowd were going wild, but Kontraband hadn't been able to complete his dive as he had been crotched on the top rope by P Xain. Xain then put Kontraband through a table that had been set up in the ring with his Manifesto inverted DDT from the top turnbuckle!! Xain gingerly got back to his feet and soaked in the cheers. Foolishly, Xain began posing on the turnbuckles. Seeing this opening, Shenanigans quickly sneaked back into the ring and dropkicked Xain in the back. Xain toppled over the top rope and crashed through yet another table at ringside! Shenanigans was then able to set up a ladder and he climbed up, taking the Christmas bonus for his team! What a wild and crazy match!!

All six men were given a standing ovation by the capacity crowd, who appreciated the fact that they had all put their bodies on the line tonight. The competitors all gingerly got back to their feet and acknowledged the applause.

Jawaid Kaleeq has been on an incredible tear since taking the NWA-UK Hammerlock Television Title from Bryan Campbell. He has gone on to defend the gold against Campbell in a rematch and defeat Hiro Kakuhari in two epic encounters. His challenger tonight, Devon Ferrari, is in form as well though and this one will undoubtedly be a classic.

Match highlights:
Devon Ferrari opened up quickly on Jawaid Kaleeq with a superkick, a snap suplex and a reverse neckbreaker. The TV champion roared back with a rolling elbowsmash and several stiff forearms. Kaleeq planted Ferrari with a tiger driver for the first near fall of the contest. Ferrari picked up a near fall of his own with a German suplex and floored Kaleeq with an STO. Kaleeq blocked a bodyslam though and scored with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Kaleeq found the mark with a frog splash for two. Kaleeq almost claimed the first fall of the contest with a running forearm smash, before working Devon Ferrari's right arm and applying a cross armbreaker. Ferrari refused to give up but then tasted a flying dropkick. Ferrari kicked out at the last second after Kaleeq's senton. Kaleeq nailed Ferrari with a flying neckbreaker drop, but he couldn't follow up with a clothesline and the challenger blasted him with a scissor kick. Ferrari hit a spinning leg lariat, but Kaleeq took back the advantage by drilling Everybody's Favourite Wrestler with a tiger suplex. He only got a two count though and as he uncharacteristically began arguing with the referee, Ferrari quickly cradled him for a close fall. This contest really was anybody's as it went past the ten minute mark.
Jawaid Kaleeq attempted a spinning back suplex but Devon Ferrari turned in mid-air and landed on him, earning a two count. Ferrari decked the champion with a Yakuza kick and followed up with a belly-to-belly suplex. As Kaleeq rolled out to ringside to collect his thoughts, Ferrari went for a tope but Kaleeq side stepped the impact. Kaleeq then threw Ferrari into the ringsteps and executed a double underhook suplex on the floor. Ferrari would not lie down though and rocked Kaleeq with a series of European uppercuts. He hit Kaleeq with an overhead belly-to-belly and signalled for the Ego Has Landed. However, as Ferrari went for his moonsault finisher, Kaleeq rolled out of dodge and Ferrari tasted nothing but mat. Kaleeq quickly capitalised with the Tiger Clutch for the pinfall.
There was barely any time left, but Devon Ferrari kicked Jawaid Kaleeq in the midsection and executed a Northern Lights bomb. The time limit then expired and Jawaid Kaleeq holds on to the TV Title after this magnificent encounter.

After the bell, the crowd were on their feet again for another standing ovation. In a tremendous show of sportsmanship, Devon Ferrari and Jawaid Kaleeq shook hands in the centre of the ring. Ferrari raised Kaleeq and put him over, appreciating that he had been the better man this evening.

A wonderfully produced video presentation was shown documenting the feud between Jason Prentice and Ben Winter. Everything was covered: Ben Winter signalling his intent to become champion by flooring Jason Prentice with the belt, Prentice returning fire by laying out Winter with a chair after The Iceman has destroyed half the Hammerlock roster, Winter steamrolling through The Punisher to claim the number one contendership and his staredown with Prentice afterward, The Iceman interrupting Prentice's celebrations for holding the title for 100 days, Prentice attacking both Winter and Victoria Silvstedt, Winter blowing his title opportunity by getting disqualified for refusing to relinquish the Deep Freeze against Prentice at Collision Course, Prentice introducing his new bodyguard GBH and the two of them attacking The Iceman on our last live show.

Jason Prentice made his typically egotistical entrance for the main event of the evening. Why wouldn't he be confident? The Iceman was suffering from a concussion. Adam Wheeler feared that Prentice's plan from earlier in the evening may come back to bite him on the ass, as he had no plans to defend his title tonight. Ben Winter then made his way out, doing a poor job of hiding his concussion. The crowd was right behind him though as he slowly climbed up the steps to the ring with the aid of Victoria Silvstedt.

Match highlights:
As Ben Winter entered the ring for this huge NWA-UK Hammerlock Heavyweight Title Match, Jason Prentice blindsided him and cracked him over the head again with the title belt! The crowd jeered Prentice out of the building and chanted, "Asshole!". Prentice demanded that the referee start the match, but he refused to do so. GBH then bullied the official into calling for the bell and Jason Prentice quickly pinned The Iceman to claim the first fall. What a scumbag.
Prentice covered Winter again immediately, but this time The Iceman summoned all of his energy and kicked out. Prentice straddled Winter and hammered him with punches, but in an amazing display of strength Winter made it back to his feet with the champion on his shoulders! The Iceman power bombed Prentice and hit him with a Spin Doctor. Winter used a vertical suplex on Prentice, but Prentice came back with a swinging neckbreaker. Prentice headbutted The Iceman and hit him with a side suplex, but he then missed an elbow and Winter powerslammed him. Jason Prentice scored with the Perfect Shot and hooked the tights, but Winter still kicked out. The result was the same after Prentice connected with a superkick and the champion was beginning to lose his cool. Winter hiptossed Prentice and floored him with a big boot. The Iceman blocked the Perfect Plant, but then Prentice elbowed his way out of a Rock Bottom. Winter missed a spear and Prentice choked him on the ropes. Prentice bodyslammed Winter and revelled in the boos from the crowd. Prentice dominated The Iceman with a neck snap and a hard kneelift. Winter came back with a short clothesline and he executed a running powerslam. Prentice got a foot on the ropes to stop the resulting pin attempt. The Iceman destroyed Prentice with a succession of clotheslines and hit a Hotshot. Winter signalled that he was going to put Prentice away with the Deep Freeze, but GBH slid a steel chair in to Prentice. As Winter turned back around to Prentice, the champion floored him with a sickening thud from the chair. Prentice was quickly disqualified to even the match up at one fall apiece.
Jason Prentice seemed unconcerned though as the bell rang for the third fall, because he thought he could now pin the groggy Iceman and retain the gold. However, Winter kicked out of Prentice's cover for the pop of the night!! Winter hulked up big time, no-selling all of Prentice's offence. He used a Gorilla Press on Prentice and followed up with an elbowsmash and a jumping DDT. Winter executed a backbreaker and it appeared that a new champion was about to be crowned. Apparently Linda O'Neil sensed this too and she jumped up onto the ring apron to cause a distraction. Victoria Silvstedt wasn't having any of it though and she pulled Linda back down. The two ladies got in to the obligatory catfight, but GBH grabbed Victoria by the hair and threw her to the ground. Winter tried to leave the ring to make the save, but Prentice attacked Winter's knee with a chopblock. Jason Prentice locked on a Boston crab, but with the fans behind him The Iceman powered out of the hold! GBH seized the Heavyweight Title belt, which had done enough damage already this evening, and attempted to pass it to Prentice, but Winter intercepted it! Winter stalked Prentice, backing him into the corner, and threatened to hit him with the belt. However, Linda O'Neil ran into the ring and jumped onto The Iceman's back! That brought Victoria Silvstedt into the ring and she dragged Linda off by her brunette locks, before spearing her out of the squared circle! GBH went to sneak up on The Iceman, but Winter saw him coming and he slugged him with the championship belt! Prentice then tried to jump Winter from behind, but he ran straight into an awesome spear from The Iceman!! The decibel level inside the building was unbelievable as Winter applied the Deep Freeze! Prentice tapped out almost immediately and the roof nearly blew off the arena once more as Ben Winter was crowned the brand new NWA-UK Hammerlock Heavyweight Champion!!!

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Ben Winter beat Jason Prentice 2 falls to 1:

[Victoria Silvstedt interfered against Jason Prentice.]

After the match, the referee handed the championship to Ben Winter. The Iceman dropped to his knees with sheer delight, his marathon pursuit of the title had now been completed. Victoria Silvstedt hugged Winter as Jason Prentice and his entourage made a hasty exit. New NWA-UK Hammerlock Heavyweight Champion Ben Winter saluted the fans and continued to celebrate as the show went off air.

Match observations:
Perhaps our best show of the year, Winter Wonderslam was stacked full of tremendous action and wonderful matches. We cannot put over the stellar work of everybody involved enough.

Congratulations to Ben Winter, who finally captured the Heavyweight Championship after chasing the gold since the summer. Even Jason Prentice's skulduggery couldn't prevent The Iceman taking the title, despite suffering a concussion. Winter was taken to a local medical facility after the show for observation and he was given the all clear. But who will be the next challenger for the title? Rumour has it that Jason Prentice marched straight to Hammerlock president Peter Abram's office after the match and demanded a rematch at the earliest available opportunity. More on this when we get it.

Jawaid Kaleeq and The New Young Lions were successful in retaining the TV Title and Tag Team Titles respectively tonight. We know that as a result of interjecting themselves into the four way number one contenders match and subsequently winning it, The Mitchell Brothers are next in line to try and take the tag straps from Brandon Alvarez and Kyle Coulbourne. But who will face Jawaid Kaleeq next? I know that after tonight, many mat fans would love to see he and Devon Ferrari lock up once more.

Anthony DeAngelo has been panned for his cowardly assault on the recuperating Scottie Hero tonight. Thankfully, no further damage was done to Hero's leg, but DeAngelo proved what a low-life he really is. Steve Bailey is determined to get some revenge on DeAngelo not just for Hero, but for himself as well after he was defeated by the former porn star.

What an amazing Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match we all witnessed tonight. Those six men are all highly talented individuals and Kontraband, Hijinx and Shenanigans will all have a merrier Christmas now that they have an extra £10,000 each to spend!

Dan Stirling ended his feud with Martyn Sullivan tonight, as did Junior Jones and The Punisher with The Aristocrats after two brutal matches.

Kelly isn't returning any of Will Gates' calls...

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you, the Hammerlock fans, for all of your support throughout the year. We hope that you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

Great card and an excellent main event. Glad to see Ben Winter finally get his due.

This is definately one of my favorite feds here.
