Limits on hiring wrestlers

actnmPosted on 01/15/06 at 05:50:11

I recently went from five individual circuits with about 30-35 wrestlers each to one massive circuit (separated with Weight Class Wizard) with about 150-160 wrestlers. But now when I try to hire wrestlers, no one wants to work. I've always believed there was a correlation to the number of wrestlers in a circuit and the willingness of wrestlers to be hired, and now I have too many wrestlers in one circuit. Is there a way around this other than hiring wrestlers through Tweak Circuit? I like the idea of wanting wrestlers and having them choose whether they want to work for me.

TweakCirc is the way to go.  Usually TNM7SE allows you to hire roughly 20 wrestlers before your first card (this is similar to TNM 6.2 in this regard).  And then depending on your booking styles, it may or may not allow you to hire more people as you go.  And of course, you may have people quitting out of the blue that you have hired.

Good luck

Another trick to do that is set your circuit to E-Mail Mode.  Everyone you try to hire will sign a contract, and then set it back to Hire Mode and there you go.

This won't keep wrestlers from quitting on their own once you switch back to Hire Mode, however. If they do that, you can edit their contract with TweakCirc to rehire them.
