626punkPosted on 12/14/05 at 02:03:23

Hey everyone, I have just got back into playing TNM and also been reading some feds posted already which is why I have decided to post the circuit I am running. As of right now, I started out using RG's Old School ruleset, but might develop into something of my own once everything starts going smoothly. This circuit will also be completely unbooked. However, there won't be full card write-ups, but rather notes for important matches.

As of right now, I have 20 wrestlers, and they are as followed: *I will be using the latest WWE/TNA updates from TNMUK*

Faces:
AJ Styles
Amazing Red
Batista
Jeff Hardy
John Cena
Kane
Matt Hardy
Rey Mysterio Jr.
Shawn Michaels
Val Venis

Heels:
Antonio
Carlito
Chris Masters
Edge
Kanyon
Kurt Angle
Monty Brown
Raven
*Romeo (Injured for 7 cards)
Shane Helms
Vampiro

Tag Teams:
Deadpool (Raven & Vampiro)
Hardy Boyz (Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy)
*Heart Throbs (Antonio & Romeo)
The New Heart Throbs (Antonio & Shane Helms)

Also, I do have 2 titles, and they are the Apollo World Title and Apollo World Tag Team Titles.

Well I hope you enjoy, and I will be posting the first cards here in a little bit.

AWA: Saturday Night Mayhem - Week 1

The Hardy Boyz defeated The Heart Throbs when M. Hardy pinned Antonio after a sidewalk slam in 0:17:55. Romeo tore his left biceps. He will be out for approximately 7 cards.
Rating: * 1/4
Not the opening match I had hoped for. It's not too good when you lose one of your main tag team stars for almost 2 months on the first show.

Val Venis pinned Carlito Caribbean Cool after a crucifix in 0:11:01.
Rating: 1/4*
This was a match that me, nor the fans were into. Val Venis got the cheap win right at the 11 minute mark.

AJ Styles pinned Kurt Angle with the Styles Clash in 0:14:36.
Rating: *** 1/2
This was a classic battle. Styles and Angle went back and forth throughout the match. Styles was able to slip out of the Angle Slam and hit Angle with the Styles Clash for the 1..2..3...Expect great matches between these two in the future.

Batista pinned Monty Brown after a spinebuster slam in 0:05:05.
Rating: * 1/4
As big as Monty Brown and Batista are, I expected a little more out of it. But Batista just dominated an the fans seemed to be in it a little bit.

Kanyon defeated Kane in a Hardcore Match in 0:09:06.
Rating: **
Kanyon and Kane used every weapon in sight that they could find. I thought Kane was going to come out with the victory after hitting Kanyon with a stop sign, but somehow Kanyon managed to kick out and a couple minutes later, knocked Kane off the apron through 2 tables that were stacked up.

The Deadpool defeated Amazing Red and Rey Mysterio Jr. when Raven pinned Red with the Raven Effect in 0:11:31.
Rating: ** 1/4
This was a great match-up between 2 brawlers and 2 high flyers. Mysterio and Red both had their chances to finish the match, but were just over-powered. The way both of these teams battled though, I could see either one of them becoming tag team champions when time comes.

Shawn Michaels pinned Chris Masters after a rana in 0:20:31.
Rating: ** 3/4
In the longest match of the night, Shawn Michaels was able to pick up the victory after doing a rana? He completely outsmarted Masters, and showed that he still has what it takes to put on a great match.

John Cena defeated Edge by disqualification in 0:12:05.
Rating: 1/4*
All I can say is damnit Lita! This match wasn't the best of the best to be a main event match, even though there were some spots that could have catapulted it to a higher ranking, but Lita had to go and ruin it after jumping on the apron and hitting Cena in the head with the ring bell. We might see something change with Edge too if this is how he will be winning because as of right now, he is the AWA franchise wrestler.

Card Notes
TV Rating: 3.375
Dud of the Night: John Cena vs Edge
Match of the Night: AJ Styles vs  Kurt Angle

Also, with the injury to Romeo, AWA has hired none other than "Sugar" Shane Helms to team up with Antonio as the New Heart Throbs until Romeo is ready to come back.

AWA: Saturday Night Mayhem - Week 2 - "Lethal Lottery"

[Round 1]:
Amazing Red and Rey Mysterio Jr. defeated Carlito Caribbean Cool and Kurt Angle when Red pinned Carlito with the Infra Red in 0:07:15.
Rating: ** 3/4
This was a great opening match for the night. Amazing Red and Rey Mysterio were simply untouchable. They used their speed to their advantage to get away from Carlito and Angle's moves. If they can keep that up throughout the night's tournament, I think they are the favorites to win.

[Round 1]:
The Deadpool defeated The Hardy Boyz when Raven pinned J. Hardy with the Raven Effect in 0:05:56.
Rating: 1/4*
The Hardy Boyz had no chance whatsoever here. Raven and Vampiro simply dominated the match. Enough said.

[Round 1]:
AJ Styles and Batista defeated Monty Brown and Chris Masters when Batista pinned C. Masters with the Batista Bomb in 0:18:44.
Rating: -*
This match just dragged and dragged. I thought it was never going to end. But Batista pulled out the win for him and Styles about a minute before the time limit.

[Round 1]:
Shawn Michaels and Val Venis defeated The New Heart Throbs when Venis pinned Antonio with the Money Shot in 0:20:30.
Rating: 1/4*
I was suprised with this match to be honest. With the talent of all 4 of these superstars, it should have been a much higher caliber match, and especially knowing they had the last 1st round match in the tournament. However, like the match before, it just dragged, and the ref decided to let the match continue after the time limit and Venis was able to hit the Money Shot with a late burst of adrenaline.

[Semi-Finals]:
The Deadpool defeated Amazing Red and Rey Mysterio Jr. when Vampiro pinned Jr. after an inside cradle in 0:10:36.
Rating: * 1/2
In a rematch from Week 1, these two teams put together another fairly solid match. Once again, like last week, Mysterio and Red had the opportunity to seal the victory, but I think they were winded after their first round match as they didn't seem to have the same amount of energy. So much for my prediction on them becoming tag champs.

[Semi-Finals]:
Shawn Michaels and Val Venis defeated AJ Styles and Batista when S. Michaels pinned Styles with the Sweet Chin Music in 0:15:56.
Rating: **
We finally got to see the SWEET CHIN MUSIC! Now even though this match was only 4 seconds shy of 16 minutes, it had all the spots you could ask for. A nice solid showing by both teams, and with Michaels and Venis winning, it shapes up for a great final match.

[Finals]: Match for the vacant Apollo World Tag Titles:
Shawn Michaels and Val Venis defeated The Deadpool when Venis pinned Vampiro with the Money Shot in 0:21:53.
Rating: * 1/2
(Shawn Michaels and Val Venis won the Apollo World Tag Titles.)
And there we have it. Shawn Michaels and Val Venis are your first ever Apollo World Tag Team Champions! I was personally pulling for Shawn Michaels to hit some Sweet Chin Music and get the win, but his partner Venis showed that he had what it took to get the job done and go down in AWA history. There will however be a rematch next week to see if The Deadpool can get the titles around their waist.

Texas Death Match:
Edge and Kanyon defeated John Cena and Kane when Kanyon pinned Kane with the Flatliner in 0:19:45.
Rating: * 3/4
The main event decided to stay within the tag team looks of thing as we took the two main eventers from last week and teamed them with the two hardcore wrestlers from last week as well. This match was all from being a tag team match though as Edge and Cena went on their own and Kanyon and Kane went on their own. It got so out of hand that they actually needed to call in another ref to watch over both teams. However the action finally returned to ringside and Kanyon hit the Flatliner on Kane and then helped Edge hold Cena down as the ref counted to 10 to give Edge and Kanyon the victory.

Card Notes:
Card Rating: 2.25
Match of the Night: Amazing Red/Mysterio Jr vs Carlito/Angle
Dud of the Night: Styles/Bastista vs Brown/Masters

Great start. A little stumble with Romeo's injury, but once he comes back you have the startings of an interesting little stable.

Congrats to Michaels & Venis. Any thoughts on a name for the team, or will you be leaving them nameless?
