We are back in Medival England once again this week, as the two guards who were after Johnny Excalibur recently are attempting to vainly search for him.

Thin Guard: Hark, this is a useless endeavor. That rogue knight could be anywhere and what of this demon bloke that helped him. With powers like his, we might as well just give up the search for this knight.

Portly Guard: Nonsense, my good man. We will find that knight, and I don't bloody care if it takes all night. Excalibur will be clapped in irons and I don't believe is such fiddle-faddle as demons. We are not going to rest, until that knight has been stoned.

The guards come out to a spooky castle. To establish that fact, bats are flying around the castle.

Portly Guard: This is the place. We are going to enlist the help of a dark socerer. This gentleman traffics in black magic and if anyone can track down that rogue knight and his buddy, Lord Tallywhacker will be the one to do it. Tallywhacker can slip through any hole with his black magic, so his talents will be a great boon to us.

Thin Guard: Let us go forth then. We shall capture that knight, by the time this night ends. Forward into the castle of Lord Tallywhacker.

The two guards go forth, as apperantly we are going to pick up on this later tonight.

I know you, dawg, as Jeff Jarrett, you got less action then a nun
Tonight you will get a beating of your life
I will smack your punk ass harder than Steve Austin will smack his next bitch ass wife
The Rapmaster's beating will knock the evil out of you, it will sure do the deed
Faster then in a ho, the Rapmaster plants his seed
The Rapmaster will bust a cap in your ass
He will then get some pussy that is not quite high class
If you don't like it Jeff Jarrett, if you don't like what I roll
You can shove that shit up your entrance hole

NORMAN SMILEY SLIDES INTO THE RING! Norman takes the chair away from the Chosen One and tosses it to the floor. Norman batters the Chosen One with punches before catching him across the chest with an European Uppercut. Norman scoops up the Chosen One and throwing slam. The Chosen One escapes the ring as Norman taunts the Chosen One. The Chosen One calls for the microphone.

Chosen One: Norman Smiley, you have dug your own grave. The Chosen One warned you, Norman Smiley, that if you got in my path again, you will be struck down and you will get struck hard, once we get in the ring at Gold Rush. Casket Match Norman Smiley, the Chosen One swears it, this will be the last time you ever mess with the Archangels of Anarchy and the Chosen One. You will be dismantled at the Pay Per View and put in the casket. Much like Jeff Jarrett got sacrificed to the Archangels of Anarchy, you, Norman Smiley, will suffer a similiar fate and know these words, you could have very well prevented it. Enjoy your remaining time in the sun. The Chosen One will put you into the darkness and it shall submerge you into the darkness with all kinds of pain and suffering, with agony and destruction.

The Chosen One leaves, on that cryptic note. It will be the Chosen One against Norman Smiley in a Casket Match at Gold Rush. Meanwhile we have something going down in the Commissioner's office. A cameraman is there, let's go to the Commissioner's office right now.

In the Commissioner's Office:

We cut to New Jack's ghetto looking office, where our Commissioner appears to be playing solitaire once again. Miles Stylish and Jerry Lynn of the Triumvirate step over the police tape and into the office of New Jack.

Stylish: What is this shit, New Jack? We are the Triumvirate, the number one force in wrestling and we are not booked tonight. This is a travesty and instead of finding opponents tonight, you are sitting in your office, playing solitaire. What is the New Age Wrestling Alliance coming to? We demand you make us a match tonight, or we will walk out of the show, and not come back. We will take these International and Television Title Belts and drop them at the feet of the McMahon family. And don't think we won't either.

Lynn: Yes New Jack. I am tired of you disrespecting the Triumvirate. We are going to wrestle tonight, or we will never wrestle again. You can take your pick.

New Jack looks up at the Triumvirate, a little ticked at them telling him what to do.

New Jack: Ya, know what, you want a match. Well you got your damn match. Both of you will compete in the ring tonight.

Miles Stylish: Nice to see you finally have come to your senses, (sarcastically) Commissioner. Now who is the unlucky opponents for the Triumvirate tonight. No matter who it is, we promise that we will give you a match of the year canidate.

New Jack: Ya bettah live up to that shit, because tonight, you will be in singles action Miles Stylish, as well as you Jerry Lynn, but that ain't even the good part. The good part is that both of you will be defending your titles.

Lynn: Cut to the chase you sorry excuse for a Commissioner. Whose asses are we kicking?

New Jack: This is the kicker, this is the real good part. You two will be competing, in the ring tonight. It will be Miles Stylish against Jerry Lynn tonight on Glory in the ring.

Stylish and Lynn quickly look at New Jack, unable to formulate a response. New Jack is forcing Lynn and Stylish to wrestle each other! Lynn and Stylish have a quiet conversation that the camera cannot quite pick up. Stylish then turns to New Jack, looking angry.

Stylish: No way we are wrestling each other. No way are we giving away the final match of the Gold Rush Tournament on free TV because that is what it will come down to, mark my words, as we are on seperate sides of that bracket. It will be myself vs Jerry Lynn at Gold Rush and you are blowing it on Free TV. I refuse to take any part of it, we refuse to give the fans this classic match without each of them paying for it.

New Jack: You punks will be competing in that match and let me tell you this. Both belts will be on the line, so whomever wins the match, will become both the International and Television Champions but one more thing. If anything screwy happens, if anything less than the match of the year canidate that you promised happens, you won't want to know what consequences will come from that. You can try me but as Teddy Hart and Ron Waterman both found out last week, I always keep my fuckin word. Go ahead, screw up the match but next week, you will be paying for it.

Jerry Lynn: I don't think you have the guts to do anything to the Triumvirate but what the hell, we will wrestle this match...

Stylish: No, listen to me, Jerry. We cannot give this away on Free TV. He won't do anything to us. We are the cornerstone of this company.

Lynn: Miles, if I didn't know better, you were afraid that I might beat you. After all, I am more experienced..

Stylish: This has nothing to do with winning and losing. Our plans for Gold Rush will be compromised if we compete in this match. I do not care for the Television Title Belt, I have nothing to gain by winning this match.

Lynn: Are you trying to tell me that I am an inferior champion, Stylish? It sounds to me that you are becoming a cocky primadonna who needs to be taken down a couple of notches.

Lynn turns around and storms off, leaving Stylish looking not too happy. He turns on New Jack, who looks amused.

Stylish: Well, I hope you're happy New Jack. Now I am going to have to wrestle my fellow Triumvirate member. I sure hope you are satisified, it looks like you may get your match of the year canidate.

Jack: Oh believe me, Stylish, I am please as hell. The board of directors will be pleased for me stirring up some shit like this, all in the name of getting ratings and that is all they care about.

Stylish storms off as New Jack goes back to his solitaire game. With that we fade to a

We are back in Medeval Europe where the two guards of corrupt evilness are with the steortypical old wizard, who has his hood pulled up over his face.

Lord Tallywhacker: Come forth and state to me what you seek.

Thin Guard: Lord Tallywhacker, we could use your black magic to find a rogue knight. A knight that has befouled our lands with his crude ways. He has deflowered our women and he called my partner here, fat. Those crimes should not go unpunished, we must find that knight, so he can be brought to justice.

Lord Tallywhacker: I see. I am not running a bloody charity here.

The portly guard reaches into his pocket and drops a handful of gold coins on the table where Lord Tallywhacker is sitting behind.

Tallywhacker: Excellent, this will do nicely. Very well, no matter where that rogue knight has holed up, Lord Tallywhacker can wiggle into that hole. I shall be able to locate your rogue knight and he shall be brought. If I must make a request to harvest his body parts for black magic rituals when you execute him.

Thin Guard: You may have our request but should I mention one minor complication in our attempts to capture that knight. Some demon eluded into his escape, this man had powers that no one in our world has seen, but if you could capture that demon as well, we can send him back to where which he came.

Tallywhacker: Indeed. Do not ejaculate yourself in excitement, we will find this demon and this knight, and we shall circumsize them from the living world. The rituals that I need to put into effect should be fully activated in seven sunsets. Then you will be able to go and get your pray, no matter where he lays. He can run to the farthest reaches but we will find him.

Portly Guard: Excellent. We shall greatly await and then, what should have gone down weeks ago, will be our grand becoming. That pretty boy knight shall pay for his comments about my big boned form, as I cut him into ribbons and cause him to bleed to death in a form of great poetic justice.

Laughter is heard as we fade out of this unique segment.

Backstage:

Raven is standing by backstage, in his usual sullen matter.

Raven: Trust, the most overrated concept on the planet. Trusting someone often leads to a person's downfall. The pain and sorrow that getting stabbed in the back by someone who you feel may be a close friend, being left for dead, that is the thing that causes the most agony. Certain people are casting doubts on my character. The fact that can I be trusted by the NAWA World Champion, Ron Waterman. They may have a point, they may be onto the truth but the truth is rarely what it seems. Waterman, may have something that I want, but I do not hate him. I just hate the fact that he is walking about with my destiny, my title, the NAWA World Title. That belt was taken from me, stripped from me, without me winning it. My alliance with Ron Waterman, well, Waterman, I am the only one you can truely trust. My intentions are clear as day. I want that title but I will not stick a knife in your back to goad you into putting the belt on the line, in a situation that you may not be ready for. I see a vested interest in keeping you healthy, and keeping that NAWA World Title in your grasp, Waterman. You are the unstoppable force, for two years, you have held your head, you have triumpthed over everyone in this company.

Raven pauses before continueing.

Raven: Everything that has been put in your path, you have knocked down. Your shoulders have yet to be pinned to the canvas and for that very reason, you have earned my respect but the fact of the matter is this. Your indestructability has attracted some very dangerous enemies. The Archangels of Anarchy, I would believe you a fool if you thought that Christopher Daniels would love nothing better than you snap your undefeated streak and leave you in a pile of your own blood, while winning the NAWA World Title. Daniels has the resources to make your life hell Waterman. I should know, I have been his friend at some points but his arch enemy at other points and continue to be to this day in the NAWA. Let us look at the Triumvirate. Miles Stylish and Jerry Lynn, two of the most cunning wrestlers in this entire company. I saw your battles with Miles Stylish, he came the closest to ending your undefeated run. You have had exactly one match with Jerry Lynn and I doubt that is an experience you would like to repeat in the future. Then you got Teddy Hart, the man who will be challenging for your belt in ten days.

Raven: Teddy Hart, he does not look like a threat but do not let outward apperances deceive you. He is perhaps your most dangerous adversary. His ability to manipulate the situations around him have been a downfall of many challengers to his Cruiserweight Title. The point that the Raven is driving at, Waterman, is that your grip is slowly loosening on the NAWA World Title but you are hanging on, without any help. I have my own intentions and that is to win the Gold Rush Tournament, to become the NAWA World Champion, and raise my standing in the company by being the one to end your undefeated streak. The enemies you attract, I am the only one that can help you, Waterman. Save you from your self. I feel your pain, the truth will set you free. So it is written, so it shall come to pass. Quoth the Raven, nevermore.

With those words from Raven, we fade out.

"Sharp Dressed Man" by ZZ Top plays and out comes a very harassed looking Miles Stylish for this title for title match. Miles Stylish is being forced to face off against his fellow Triumvirate teammate, Jerry Lynn tonight on Glory, with both the Television and International Belts at stake. Stylish enters the ring, without any of his cocky mannerisms. Stylish calls for the microphone.

Stylish: A few words before I reluctantly wrestle this match, althrough I beg Jerry Lynn to please reconsider. This is not about winning or losing. We were destined to be the final of the Gold Rush Tournament and that common thug of a Commissioner has us throwing away this match on free television. New Jack is a sorry excuse for an authority figure and believe me, I will go straight to the Board of Directors tommorow morning and hell, I might even call up Matt Harms himself to lodge a complaint, as this kind of biased behavior is not becoming of the office of NAWA Commissioner, which has fallen a long way since Disco Inferno, the only Commissioner who knew what real talent was, was in charge. Now let's get this over with.

"In the End" by Linkin Park plays and out comes Jerry Lynn to a mixed reaction, with some cheers. The implied meaning of Stylish's words earlier made it sound like that he was saying that Lynn's Television Title was of less prestiege then the International Title. Stylish attempts to beg Lynn to reconsider but Lynn angrily slaps the hand of Stylish away. The bell rings and this match is underway.

Title for Title: Television vs International Title
Jerry Lynn vs Miles Stylish

Both men lock up and release the lock up. Stare down and both men charge at each other but just miss each other. Another lock up and another break. Both men criss cross off the ropes and shoulderblock each other at the same time. Both men go down to the canvas hard. Something is up. The referee is putting the count and both men are lying on the canvas, as the crowd chants "bullshit". The referee reaches ten and the crowd boos, throwing garbage in the ring. Lynn and Stylish have just made a mockery out of this match, and they have swerved us all!

Miles Stylish and Jerry Lynn battled to a double countout in 0:00:36.

(Miles Stylish retained the NAWA International Title.)
(Jerry Lynn retained the NAWA Television Title.)

Lynn gets up and grabs the microphone.

Lynn: Unfortunately for you fans, the Triumvirate is on the same page and that is the way it is going to stay forever. We sure took you for a ride for a short time. Honestly, you fans took the bait hook, line, and sinker. Now be sure to tune in May 30th only on Pay Per View, as the real Jerry Lynn vs Miles Stylish match happens in the finals of the Gold Rush Tournament after we each dispose of our two other inferior opponents.

Stylish grabs the microphone.

Stylish: Yeah, New Jack, we spit on your authority. Your authority doesn't mean anything. Fine us, we can pay it. Suspend us, it would just be a vacation. Strip us of our titles even, we are so damn good, that we will just win them back at the first possible shot. What can you do to us, New Jack? The Triumvirate is the number one force in wrestling. Stylish, Lynn, and Warrior, we run this company and you are nothing but a paper commissioner. The most elite force in wrestling thanks you for tuning in. We understand there is a Cruiserweight Title Match still to come between a pompous blowhead living off of his family's name and someone who has choked more times at the big one then the Chicago Cubs, but the good part is over, so why don't you shut off the television and enjoy a good night's sleep. The Triumvirate will be back next week to enlighten your lives further.

Stylish and Lynn walk off, as fans pelt garbage at their retreating backs. Despite what Stylish has said, we still have a match for the NAWA Cruiserweight Title in our main event. Tony Mamaluke has a chance to shut all of his critics up and win his first singles belt in the NAWA. Meanwhile Teddy Hart is leaving the Hart Foundation, the Next Generation lockeroom, let's go backstage there.

Backstage:

Teddy Hart is lacing up his boots as Petey Williams, Jack Evans, and Johnny Devine are sitting backstage. Teddy walks up to his fellow stable mates.

Teddy Hart: Listen up, Gentlemen. You have been barred from ringside by the Commissioner. That means you can come out but you know what. I don't need your help to defeat Tony Mamaluke. I will prove to the world why I have been the NAWA Cruiserweight Champion for nine, going on ten months. Mamaluke is nothing compared to the Cruiserweight Wrestling prodigy.

Petey Williams: So what's the plan if we are not out there.

Teddy Hart: Victory. I will beat Tony Mamaluke in the center of the ring. I will pin his shoulders to the mat. No one has ever seen a fraction of how dangerous I can be, when my back is truely against the wall. Mamaluke will not know what hit him. The Cruiserweight Title will stay around my waist.

Hart picks up the Cruiserweight Title Belt and walks out of the dressing room. That match is up next, don't you dare miss it.

[commercial]

It is time for an NAWA first. The first time that the Cruiserweight Title has been on the line in the main event here on NAWA Glory. We have had many great main events but tonight, is the first time the NAWA Cruiserweight Title will be defended. "Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gees kicks up and out comes Tony Mamaluke. Mamaluke no longer has the cast on his arm, as that particular injury has finally healed but he does have his ribs and back taped up from that Sacrifice beating two weeks ago. Mamaluke will be facing Jerry Lynn in the first Round of the Gold Rush Tournament in ten days but he could very well walk into Gold Rush with the Cruiserweight Title. Mamaluke has a focused look on his face. Will he have success where many others have failed, in taking the Cruiserweight Title from Teddy Hart? The answer may be among us.

"Take My Breath Away" by Berlin plays and the NAWA Cruiserweight Champion Teddy Hart slowly makes his way down to the ring. That belt is draped over his shoulder. He will be contending for the NAWA World Title at Gold Rush in the gauntlet match with the Hart Foundation, the Next Generation against Ron Waterman. Teddy takes the belt off of his shoulder, taunting Mamaluke with it, before the referee takes it and holds it up. The referee passes the belt onto the timekeeper and the bell rings. The moment of truth.

Teddy Hart is going to leave Mamaluke for dead, I believe he thinks he has proved his point, no wait, Mamaluke is pulling himself up, the blood dripping from his mouth and slowly pulling himself back into the ring. Teddy charges Mamaluke and knee to the ribs. Mamaluke falls into the ring. More knees to the side. Mamaluke is really in pain and Teddy Hart lifts up Mamaluke. Abdominal Stretch is hooked on. That move is really painful to someone with injured ribs like Mamaluke, as it stretches on the abdominal muscles which are connected to the ribcage. Mamaluke is in a world of hurt but Teddy Hart is cranking the pressure on.

Mamaluke attempts to fight out of the hold but Teddy Hart grinds the knee into the rib cage and shoves off Mamaluke. Mamaluke staggers in and Teddy Hart hoists him up. (Teddy Hart retained the NAWA Cruiserweight Title.)

Teddy Hart pulls himself up before snatching the Cruiserweight Title Belt from the referee. Mamaluke came close, perhaps the closest anyone has ever had to beating Teddy Hart. One wonders if Mamaluke did not have injured ribs and an injured back, would he have walked out tonight with the Cruiserweight Title. Teddy Hart is breathing heavily but he has the microphone.

Teddy Hart: Once again, once again, I have proven why I am the greatest wrestler on the planet, the Cruiserweight Wrestling Prodigy and in ten days, Ron Waterman, the NAWA World Title is coming around my waist. Ten days, the belt will be coming to someone it can be respected with. But Waterman, you see, if you have the guts, to show your face out here. I will give you a little preview of Gold Rush ten days earlier. Come on Waterman, come and meet wrestling excellence. Come and meet...

"The Unforgiven" by Metallica plays and there is no Ron Waterman. Waterman was blinded last week by Teddy Hart and he is not on the show tonight. His condition for Gold Rush is in doubt and he may have to defend that title without vision due to to Teddy Hart spraying that substance in his eyes last week.

Teddy Hart: Come on, Waterman. I am alone. You wanted me one on one. Come on you big oaf, come and face me, if you are man enough. Sound guy, hit his music again.

"The Unforgiven" by Metallica plays and once again, no NAWA World Champion. Teddy Hart has a smirk on his face.

Hart: It looks like your hero isn't showing, which is a shame. As you can see, althrough I am not sure how much Waterman can see because after what I did to him last week, I heard he is blind as a bat, I am the better man and Waterman, the so called unbeatable champion doesn't have the guts to face off against me. Gold Rush, Waterman. The Gauntlet Match. You are looking at your next NAWA World Champion. I hope you do get to the end of that gauntlet so I can outclass you and take the NAWA World Title by my own hands. I have no more to say, but Waterman, that is different from you as you have no more to see.

Teddy Hart laughs as the crowd boos. We are out of time, see you next week.

Great main, I had myself thinking Mamaluke would take that for a while. Still, it makes sense for Hart to be the one going on strong into the PPV.

OK, Stylish and Lynn were never going to split over that (though I did wonder whether they'd actually wrestle before going to the inevitable draw), but you have to assume New Jack will be able to come up with a decent punishment for them. Stylish I'm still picking for the Gold Rush tourney, I've decided to stick with him. I'll probably reject that.

Damn, I thought Jarrett was a lock there - that whole bit was weird though, a bit like the Excalibur skits. Is he ACTUALLY a time traveller then? And here's some triviata - the WWE were originally considering Excalibur as Chris Jerichos name when he debuted.
