Nice work Masked Texan.  And a lot of it, it would seem.  How do you keep everything straight with all the circuits?

Inside Wrestling ruled back in the day.  Man, that's quite an undertaking you took up.  Nice job.
Question:  I saw where Pat Patterson lost the finals of a tournament for one of the titles.  (DR title maybe)  Did you run this tournament or was it a joke at the Rio de Janero, Brazil, thing the WWWF did with the Intercontinental Title.

after further review of the site this morning, Texan, you have by far the most comprehensive "TNM universe" I have EVER seen.  Very very impressive.

I think it's cause he's magic.  Maybe he's got a system where it's not as over whelming to run as it appears, but damn... he's some sort of TNM Superhuman. ;)

Thanks everyone for the kind words  :)   I've been trying to run my site and circuits more frequently, but something always seems to come up to take me away for a while.  Hopefully, things will calm down some, and can concentrate a little more with TNM

Rick,

Well, I only run title matches, so it cuts down on A LOT of work.  I don't run any undercard matches, with the excpetion of maybe some special anniversary type cards.    The biggest issue I have is trying to make sure that I don't schedule a wrestler wrestling two matches in one day, in two different promotions.

There are a few wrestlers who wrestle for their "home" promotion, while also wrestling in the St. Louis promotion or in Japan.

While I try to keep things as realistic as possible, I know sometimes I will miss something, and have a schedule conflict.

Icon,

Yes, Inside Wrestling ruled!  I have most of the issues from '84 - '88,  but the September '85 issue was the best.  That was the first issue to institute the "Roll Call of Champions" page.

The Dominican Title tournament was real.  Just a coincidence that Pat Patterson happened to make the finals.    ;D

americansushi,

Yes, I do use a system, similar to the points system that is in TNM.  I use the push, work-rate, charisma, and the other number, that I can't seem to remember right now,  to determine who wrestles who for which title.

As far as being a TNM Superhuman, nah, just something I enjoy doing when I have time.  Hopefully, I'll have a little more time to do some special cards, with a full card lineup from a few of the promotions.

The real TNM Superhuman's, are you guys who can take a circuit, create angles that are even better than what you see on tv.  The creativity that I read in the circuits are very impressive.

1) Does your NWA Korea based on real wrestlers?

2) If yes, does "Super Dragon" refer to Lee Wang Pyo?

3) If yes to both, can you send me the exports?  ;D
Masked_TexanPosted on 12/04/05 at 21:57:47

Yun,

I found those wrestlers on the WWA - Korea website, a couple of years back.

I just made up a bunch of moves for them, so none of them are very realistic.

I'm not sure if Super Dragon is Lee Wang Pyo.

Let me try and find the website, and I'll post it here...

http://www.wwakorea.com/

I don't know if it works any longer. I couldn't seem to be able and get past the main screen. For that matter, I can't read the Korean language, so, I have no idea what it says :)

Second update...

http://www.wwatv.com/htmls/sub12.htm

This is supposedly a link to some of their TV shows online, though, I couldn't get it to work for me.
YunPosted on 12/06/05 at 00:14:50

Yeah, I've seen that page (I can read Korean.)

You did answer my question indirectly, though, as "Super Dragon" is indeed Lee Wang Pyo, and FYI he goes by his real name, "Super Dragon" is more appropriate as a nickname.

Otherwise, you're probably better off with the made up exports, cause except for Lee they all suck beyond belief! As far as I can tell from the WWA site, they're all a bunch of amateur wrestlers and judo/hapkido fighters who got thrown in a ring and told to pretend to fight.

Edit: I also have a mostly accurate export of Lee that I made myself if you want it.
Masked_TexanPosted on 12/06/05 at 02:53:50

Yun,

Sure, if you don't mind, please send me the export of Lee Wang Pyo.

Thanks!
