NAWA Glory 5/6/04

MattHarmsPosted on 12/02/05 at 04:15:32

Tonight: Gold Rush Tournament. New Commissioner. Some other stuff as well. Glory is on...right now.

"Sharp Dressed Man" by ZZ top plays and out comes the Triumvirate wearing three piece suits to boos from the crowd. Jerry Lynn, Miles Stylish, and the Dark Warrior are looking smug. Last week, Stylish and Lynn defeated the Outsiders in tag team action and at Gold Rush, the Dark Warrior will collide one on one with Kevin Nash. Stylish calls for the microphone.

Stylish: Ladies and Gentlemen, I must welcome you to another night of the federation that Miles Stylish built, the New Age Wrestling Alliance. Because, let's face it, without me, this company would be nothing without a memory. Also, without these two fine gentlemen behind me, this company would be nothing but a memory. You look in the ring and you see greatness. The three men who have carreid this company on their back for the past couple of months and after the Gold Rush Tournament, the NAWA World Title will be coming to the Triumvirate camp. I believe my good friend, Jerry Lynn has something to say.

Lynn takes at the microphone.

Lynn: Thank you, Miles. Now, it seems that the Triumvirate is not getting the respect it deserves. The respect that should be ours by divine right. You got the NAWA International Champion, the NAWA Television Champion, and the greatest orator in wrestling in this ring. However, all I hear about is this new Commissioner who is supposed to keep us in check. Let me level with this new Commissioner. He cannot contain the greatest force in wrestling. I don't care who it is, we will take control of this company. It is our right, it is our destiny. Whomever this commissioner is, he better not cross the Triumvirate or he will be the latest victim of us. Nothing will hold us down, you can be sure of that.

Lynn stops and hands the microphone to the Dark Warrior.

Warrior: The fact that a new figurehead will be making his grand unveiling tonight to attempt to subdue the Triumvirate, is quite fact laughable. We will not be stalled by somebody, attempting to muck with the fates. The Triumvirate is fated to rule this establishment known as the New Age Wrestling Alliance and throughout the stars, it is written that this cosmic event shall alter the course of life events throughout the entire spectrum of the universe that is governed by the concepts of Destrucity. The power of the Warrior and the power of Triumvirate shall rule hand in hand with the power of the Triumvirate and the power of the Warrior and all will be governed throughout the spetrum of extistance. All Destrucity will be finalized and all the world will be spiraled into a fate of doom and dispair which will cause the end of the civilization to face off the cosmic events govererned with the rights. All will seek the wisdom in this oratory process but few will find it, due the lack of understand of the cosmic and intergalatic flux throughout the universe that all the life will be undisputed to be the greatest undisputed forced that will be the plane of extistance fighting for all the fates into the field of destrucity that shall fry all thought the entire end of it all and the world that shall be something that has never been experienced in the multitude waves of the sophisticated concept of Destrucity.

The Dark Warrior puts down the microphone as Stylish and Lynn exchanges a befuddled look behind his back before Stylish recovers and grabs the microphone.

Stylish: That was...inspiring, Dark Warrior. Your words of wisdom are very valuable and apperciated by all. So on the subject of the New Commissioner. Whoever you are, I want you to show your face right now, right here. Step into the Triumvirate's arena and face the music. We are not leaving, until you show up. I don't care if it takes all night. Come out and show yourself to the greatest force in wrestling, the Triumvirate.

Stylish pauses for about a minute but no one comes out. Stylish goes to say something but "Natural Born Killerz" by Dr.Dre plays and the crowd explodes into cheers, knowing who that is. Indeed, the legendary former three time NAWA Xtreme Champion New Jack comes out, dressed in a very ratty three piece suit with a red stain on it that we won't speculate what it may be. The crowd cheers, as New Jack has returned to the New Age Wrestling Alliance, after a long absense but the music gets cut off as Stylish has something to say.

Stylish: I thought I said that the New Commissioner was going to come out here, not some never-was street punk who isn't even fit to polish my boots.

New Jack has a microphone.

New Jack: Shut yo mouth, cracka. Let me tell you something, I have been called back to this company to do a job and that job is very simple. I have been named the brand new NAWA Commissioner, because, I am the only person crazy enough to take this fool job. It seems that a bunch of punk ass, white bread crackas seem to think this is there company to run roughshot over. Well, let me tell you something, punks. My name is New Jack. All you fuckin' punks are going to learn the meaning of how my word is fuckin' law. No one ain't gonna stand in my way of dealing the best wrestling that the New Age Wrestling Alliance fans have been known to expect, and I am going to add some checks and balances to make sure all bouts are a one on one fight to the finish, without anybody attempting to screw with the fuckin' odds by sticking their fool noses where it ain't gonna belong.

Jerry Lynn grabs the microphone.

Lynn: Who the hell do you think you are, to tell the Triumvirate what to do? We are the ultimate force in wrestling and we won't take orders from a third rate wrestler, who doesn't know a wristlock from a wristlock. I have half the mind to come up there and show you why I am considered the most dangerous man in the NAWA, but I decide that it would be like taking candy from a dead baby, so consider yourself lucky, Jack.

New Jack: You know what, Jerry Lynn. You want to question my authority. No, that's ain't how we play dis game. That is not the way my run as Commissioner will run. In fact, I believe that the fans would like to see a Television Title defense tonight, since you seem to be in a fighting mood. So you will defend the belt against Rapmaster Killings tonight and I hope the Rapmaster fucks up your punk ass. That is my word, and I have spoken and that goes for anyone. If you cross my authority, you will face consequences.

New Jack walks off as the Triumvirate fumes in the ring. It will be Jerry Lynn against Rapmaster Killings for the NAWA Television Title.

Christopher Daniels is standing backstage when Teddy Hart and the Hart Foundation the Next Generation come up to him. Teddy Hart is wearing a three piece suit with sunglasses and the Cruiserweight Title Belt over his shoulder.

Daniels: What do you want, Hart?

Teddy Hart: Relax, CD. I am here for a business proposition. As you know, I have been having problems with Tony Mamaluke. It seems like that little punk has been petioning to the Board of Directors for a Cruiserweight Title Shot against me, as compesation for alledged damages that I forced upon him when I cost him the NAWA World Title against Waterhead at Wildfire. So, I am asking for you to take care of the problem for me and I will make it worth your while.

Daniels: I already have a match, Hart, so...

Teddy Hart: As much as you could hurt Mamaluke, I wanted to buy the services of your tool, your personal monster. You know, Sacrifice. I feel that he should be able to put Mamaluke on the shelf for quite some time should that match take place.

Daniels: Fine, but I don't run a charity. To play, you must pay, Teddy Hart. I want two million dollars, no less.

Teddy Hart: Done. I look forward to seeing Mamaluke getting demolished and left in a pool of his own blood tonight.

Teddy Hart tosses the briefcase to Daniels, who opens it to reveal stacks and stacks of hundred dollar bills.

Teddy Hart: There should be at least five million dollars in there. At little extra incentive to really pound it in to Tony Mamaluke later tonight.

Daniels nods before speaking.

Daniels: You know what, this may be the start of a mutually benefical partnership between the Hart Foundation, the Next Generation and the Archangels of Anarchy. The nine of us, we could take anyone out if we pool our resources. Now if you excuse me, I have a match tonight. I will make sure that Sacrifice vs Tony Mamaluke match is made for tonight.

Christopher Daniels pulls himself up, with the win. We have to get backstage where Dan Marion is standing by with the NAWA Cruiserweight Champion Teddy Hart.

Backstage:

Dan Marion: Greetings. This is NAWA Investigative report/Internet columnist. If I was a shameless shill, I would hype my new column, the Marion Meltdown, avaiable on the NAWA website but I am above such things so let me introduce you to my guest at this time, the NAWA Cruiserweight Champion Teddy Hart. Mr. Hart, last week, you revealed yourself to be the man who attempted to do the world a service and run Ron Waterman down with a car. Now, you have given Waterman an ultimatium tonight. You have demanded that you get your rightful title shot at the NAWA World Title. Perhaps you should tell some of our slower viewers why you are going after Ron Waterman. I know obviously but enlighten the mindless drones.

Teddy Hart: Indeed, Mr. Marion, I believe that a full explaination to the peons in the crowd would be worth it. After all, they need to see my full greatness. Anyway, last week, I revealed to the world that I ran our paper champion over with a car. I felt that I did a great service to the NAWA fans, by attempting to prevent the last of the ape people, Ron Waterhead from dragging his knuckles through another title defense against inferior competition. He hasn't been challenged by anything quite like me. I am going to be his worst nightmare, as I know the key to beat him. I have figured it out through extensive tape study and I will end his undefeated streak, you may take this down as gospel. It is very simple, it is strange that no one has figured out but yet, considering the average intellect of the non-Teddy Hart wrestlers in this company, that could be expected. Waterhead, or whatever the hell your name is, because obviously I don't care, as you will end up as another statistic in my storied wrestling career. Kid you've had a good, eighteen month undefeated run and scored many victories, over obviously hand picked competition. You see, the suckers in a crowd like a hero, someone that is on their level of intelligence, but really they subconciously want someone superior as their champion, to look down upon them like a king. That is exactly what will happen once I get my rightful title shot. Waterhead you will be going down, and the crowd will bow before the prodigy of the Hart family, the man who will restore the greatness to this great wrestling dynasty, after certain members have bitterly spent the last eight years whining about being screwed. I will soon stand before you as the new NAWA World Champion and unlike certain wrestlers, such as Miles Stylish, I will actually live up to my hype and not choke on my title shot, as the greatest sports entertainer ever to grace the world of my wrestler. It is in my blood, I cannot fail. Now if you excuse me, I have a match to prepare for.

Teddy Hart walks out as Dan Marion gets the microphone.

Marion: Thank you for that Teddy Hart. Don't forget, read the Marion Meltdown. We will be right back.

Gold Rush Tournament time as "Sharp Dressed Man" by ZZ Top plays and out comes the International Champion Miles Stylish to boos. Stylish makes his way to the ring, stepping into the ring. He calls for the microphone.

Miles Stylish: I am normally in a good mood and as the greatest wrestler in the entire world of wrestling today, I have every right to be but right now I am a little miffed. Earlier tonight, we have a new Commissioner, who is obviously biased against the Triumvirate. Matt Harms did this on purpose, just because I injured his so called drawing card Harry Harris, he has to put someone in that is predisposed against the Triumvirate, and would rather whack someone in the face with a trash can then listen to logical reasoning. The second thing and this really amuses me on one level but really ticks me off on a whole other level, due to certain wrestlers not knowing their place in this compan. I am referring to that little twerp that I just want to smack around because he annoys me. That would be Teddy Hart. Let's face it, you may be a good wrestler but to say that you are even on the level where you can even look at the NAWA World Title makes me sick to my stomach. You couldn't get a shot at the title so you ran over a guy with a car and pretty much forced Waterman's hand to give you a title shot. I must admit, I wouldn't have expected you to have the guts to anger Waterman but you may yet have a back bone. However, declaring yourself the greatest wrestler in the world, when I am standing before you.

Stylish pauses for a minute, obviously getting agitated.

Stylish: Look Hart, you are not the greatest wrestler in the world. You may be top twenty, barely. The fact that you have your three buddies interfere every time you wrestle, does not make you a good wrestler. I may be known to run my mouth but I get the job done more often then not, without any interference. I am going to level with you, Teddy and I am going to say this. You violated the pecking order. There is an unwritten agreement that you have to pay your dues but you think because of your last name, you can leapfrog over everyone and get any match you want. I believe I have said what needs to be said, so get my opponent out and I am going to win this Gold Rush Tournament and I am going to prove that I can do it on my own merits.

Stylish drops the microphone as "Highway to Hell" by AC/DC plays and out comes the Gambler to a pop from the crowd. The Gambler enters the ring and the bell rings kicking off this Gold Rush Qualifier.

Gold Rush Qualifier:
Miles Stylish vs the Gambler

The Gambler gets in some punches earlier before whipping Stylish off the ropes and taking him down with a clothesline. The Gambler lifts up Stylish and knee to the midsection. The Gambler rams an elbow to the side of the head and trips him up before rocking back and catapault sends Stylish into the corner. The Gambler fires a kick to the back and puts Stylish onto his shoulders. Airplane Spin is blocked after two rotations and Stylish counters with a spinning DDT. Stylish works over the Gambler with some stomps before delivering a handstand kneedrop for a two count. Stylish pounds the Gambler with punches and chops. Swinging Suplex scores a two count and Stylish pounds away at the Gambler in the corner before whipping him in. Spinning Headscissors takes the Gambler down and Stylish scores another two count.

Stylish lifts up the Gambler and pounds the back before sending the Gambler into the corner. Chops before Stylish climbs up and ten count punches. Corner Rana is blocked and Stylish is flipped to his feet, which the Gambler takes Stylish down with a Lex Luger style running elbow smash. Gambler covers Stylish and two count. Gambler lifts up Stylish and hammers him before flipping Stylish over the top rope and onto the ring apron. Knee and set up. Suplex brings Stylish back into the ring. Gambler covers for two. Kneedrop and stomps before the Gambler goes to the top rope. Leap off as Stylish is up but Stylish ducks the roulette spin and the Gambler crashes hard to the canvas. The Gambler staggers up, right into a Fireman's carry and Las Vegas Trauma sends the Gambler crashing down. Stylish makes the cover hooking the leg and advances into the Gold Rush Tournament with the pin.

Miles Stylish scores the win, advancing to face AJ Styles in the Quarterfinals of the Gold Rush Tournament at Gold Rush. We understand that their is something going on down in the Commissioner's office.

In the Commissioner's Office:

We cut to the Commissioner's office which is really a section of the backstage area roped in with police barricades and police tape with a fake wall with graffitti on it, an old wooden door on two saw horses acting as a desk, a chalk outline on the floor, and an overturned trash can acting as a chair. New Jack is sitting on the trash can, tying barbed wire around a pencil when Ron Waterman steps over the police tape and gets in New Jack's face.

Jack: Woah, dawg, back up there for a minute. You are getting in my airspace and that ain't being cool.

Waterman backs off.

Jack: Now what is the pleasure of this visit, as I thought you didn't have a match tonight and thus had no reason to be here. Now...

Waterman: Where is Hart!!!!

Jack: Teddy Hart. He is going out for a match right about now. Him and Jack Evans is taking care of some bidness with Chris Sabin and Matt Bentley.

Waterman: Good, he's a dead man.

Jack: Woah, hold on a minute. Now I enjoy a good justifiable homicide as much as the next guy but as the commissioner I have certain standards I need to uphold and the rules must be enforced to make a level playing field. True, that fool ran you over in a car but that was before my time and thus out of my hands. So, let me level with you Waterman. If you attempt to disrupt that match in any way, as I told the Triumvirate earlier, there will be consequences being laid down. You don't want to try me, Waterman, so don't do something that you might regret.

Waterman gives New Jack a look before walking off. With that we fade to a

We are back and it is time for some tag team action. "Take My Breath Away" by Berlin plays and the crowd boos as the NAWA Cruiserweight Champion Teddy Hart and Jack Evans come down to the ring for this tag team match. It appears that Ron Waterman wants to get his hands around Teddy Hart's neck and wring it but New Jack told Waterman that there will be consequences if he defys Jack's orders about interfering with this match. Teddy Hart refuses to remove the Cruiserweight Title.

Backstage:

Matt Bentley, Chris Sabin, and Vince Russo are walking towards the ring but WATERMAN ATTACKS THEM! Waterman pounds away at Bentley and scoops him up before throwing him into the wall with a vicious fallaway slam. Sabin leaps on Waterman's back but Waterman flips Sabin onto a backstage table. Russo pounds Waterman with punches from behind but Waterman grabs Russo by the throat and hoists him up before throwing him down to the floor.

We cut back to the arena as Teddy Hart looks on in fear as "The Unforgiven" by Metallica plays and out comes the NAWA World Champion. Waterman makes his way down to the ring and Teddy Hart stands, looking paralyzed with fear. Waterman walks into the ring, stepping over the top rope. Teddy Hart looks at Waterman and looks at Jack Evans and SHOVES JACK EVANS INTO THE CLUTCHES OF RON WATERMAN. Waterman beats the ever living crap out of Jack Evans as Teddy Hart jumps over the top rope and high tails it to the back. Waterman has Evans set up and huge power bomb lays waste to Evans. Waterman turns around but Teddy Hart is gone so Waterman lifts up Evans and gives him another power bomb out of frustration for not getting his hands on Teddy Hart.

We cut out and we are airing another vignette. We are back to medeval England as the two guards are taking Johnny Excalbur to be executed due to crimes of treason. Excalibur looks defeated, despite the fact that he attempted to make a good go at escaping last time we saw.

Guard: Hark, we have got you now, you rogue villianous knight. Your treachery shalt not go unpunished. You will be taken out to the town to get stoned and not in the good manner, I can assure you that.

The guards keep walking for a little bit but all of a sudden, a vortex of light appears in the sky.

Guard #2: Halt. What strange rogue goes there. No doubt to help assist this knave in escaping our watch.

The vortex eventually spits out the form of Hi Tech.

Guard #1: What manner of creature shall this be. He appears to be a demon of some sort. No matter, no demon should be not a problem for the two best guards in merry England.

The guards withdraw their swords, forgetting about Johnny Excalibur. Excalibur, escapes again. They swing the swords but Hi Tech ducks and both the guards oafishly hit each other. Hi Tech has one of the guards and huge spinebuster brings him down. Hi Tech backs off and rushes at another guard, hitting him with a clothesline. Hi Tech picks up the guard and applies a sleeperhold on it. The guard passes out due to the flow of the blood passing to his brain. Hi Tech then advances on Johnny Excalibur who got only twelve feet due to the impendment of having his ankles shackled together.

Excalibur: I say, I have never seen anyone like you. You must be something wicked to take out those guards like that. I say, we must escape this wretched place. Those bloody buggers will be up from their little nap soon. But how shall we escape this location.

Hi Tech points the the swirling vortex, which is slowly closing.

Excalibur: Alas, I do say. That light sounds like a promising escape route and it shalt most certainly be better than where we are right now. Let us move forward, lest we get captured when these two bloody oafs awaken. Come on, let us move on.

Excalibur leaps into the vortex with Hi Tech slowly following. The vortex seals shut behind them. With that we fade out to a

Armageddon, Chosen One, and Destruction triple team Raven on the floor as Sacrifice angrily tosses the shopping cart off of his body, sending half of the plundah flying into the ring. Sacrifice lifts the shopping cart over his head and BRINGS IT DOWN INTO THE HEAD OF RAVEN. Sacrifice chokes Raven while Armageddon reaches underneath the ring and pulls out a table. Armageddon and Destruction set the table up as the Chosen One has a chair and SHOT TO THE BACK OF RAVEN. Raven is plopped, prone on the table as the Chosen One jabs the chair into his chest. Sacrifice holds the legs of Raven as Destruction climbs to the top rope. Destruction leaps off as RAVEN KICKS SACRIFICE INTO THE GUARDRAIL AND ROLLS OFF THE TABLE. Destruction puts himself through the table and Raven has a trash can now and HE DENTS THE TRASH CAN OVER THE HEAD OF THE CHOSEN ONE. That is before he gets kicked into the face by Sacrifice.

And now Raven is going to pay for it as Sacrifice is back into the ring and CLOTHESLINE CLUBS RAVEN FROM BEHIND. Sacrifice pounds away on Raven as Destruction and the Chosen One join the fun but the crowd boos as Christopher Daniels casually walks down to the ring. Daniels orders a choke slam for Raven which Sacrifice does. Daniels lifts up Raven and punches away at him before tossing him to Sacrifice. Another choke slam. Raven is getting destroyed by the Archangels as Armageddon is up and he joins the fun, making it five on one but the crowd is excited about something. IT'S THE CHAMPION OF THE WORLD! Ron Waterman is running down to the ring. Destruction and Armageddon get ran over by the champion. Waterman sends the Chosen One flying with some punches as Daniels measures Waterman with a kick but Waterman flips the Fallen Angel over and TAKES HIM DOWN WITH A LARIAT!

Then Waterman turns around and stares Sacrifice in the eyes. The crowd is really excited about this one. These two titans are about to rumble but TEDDY HART IS IN THE RING AND HE CHAIRS WATERMAN FROM BEHIND! Where the hell did that little rat come from? Waterman drops to his knees and Teddy Hart calls in more help, in the former of Petey Williams and Johnny Devine. Jack Evans, is of course, out of the picture due to Teddy Hart shoving Jack Evans into a pissed off Waterman. Devine and Petey Williams join in the Triple Teaming of Waterman and the Archangels slowly get up to join in, leaving it to be an eight on one beatdown. Waterman cannot defend himself due to the sheer numbers. The numbers are catching up to the World Champion! Teddy Hart has the handcuffs out again and he is handcuffing Waterman to the top rope. Teddy Hart drives an elbow into the side of the head of Waterman before grabbing a microphone.

Teddy Hart: See this. Once again, your champion helpless, thanks to an ingenius plot of the greatest member of the Hart Wrestling Family. I suckered you in again, Waterhead. The third time you have been left helpless due to the fact. When will you learn...

WATERMAN'S FREE HAND GRABS TEDDY HART BY THE THROAT, ATTEMPTING TO STRANGLE HIM! Waterman has his hands on Teddy Hart for a brief second before the combinded forces of the Hart Foundation, the Next Generation and the Archangels of Anarchy beat down Waterman some more. Raven gets up and attempts to make the save but Sacrifice kicks Raven in the face and hoists him up. THE RECKONING BRINGS RAVEN DOWN. Teddy Hart spits in the face of the half dead Waterman. Teddy Hart is living dangerously if he continues to piss off Ron Waterman like this but nevertheless, the numbers game does the NAWA World Champion in again. We will be right back.

(Jerry Lynn retained the NAWA Television Title.)

Both these men know each other's trademark moves and countering them at the end proved that but in the end, Jerry Lynn proved to be a little more craftier and he retains the Television Title. Until next week, good night everybody!

I tell you, this pulls me in more and more as I read. Tempting as it would be to boo Killings character just for rapping, it'd be hypocritical of me as someone who's quite enjoyed John Cenas reign. Still, glad Lynn won, he was always the right man there - by the way, I think he meant to say that New Jack doesn't know a wristlock from a wristwatch as opposed to another wristlock.

Speaking of New Jack, although I don't care for him personally, his character is a totally unique one for playing a commissioners role and has the potential to be pretty entertaining so fair dues to you if you pull it off.

I'm calling Mike Stylish to win Gold Rush at this early stage, but then again I've forgotten half the others in the tournament, by the time I see the final eight, I'll probably change my mind again. Still, you obviously have plans for him...

And where did Teddy Hart get all that money?

It is heavily implied in the NAWA verse that Teddy Hart got a huge payoff via Miles Stylish for costing Tony Mamaluke the NAWA World Title back at Wildfire, due to the fact that Stylish couldn't interfere or he would be stripped of his title shot. Mr. Hart got about about a nine figure total, so he could afford to pay Christopher Daniels to have Sacrifice injure Mamaluke.

And now, since, I am already posting anyway.

The Marion Meltdown for 5/8/04

DISCLAIMER: The opinions expressed in this column of strictly Dan Marion's and do not reflect the views of the New Age Wrestling Alliance.

Another week has passed us and the NAWA lawyers are holding the shotguns to my head to complete this week's column, so I can give you the news that you so crave.

Ron Waterman is a marked man for sure. The NAWA World Champion seems to feel that he doesn't have enough enemies so he picks a fight with the Archangels of Anarchy. It is almost like an ape picking a fight with a bunch of rapid vultures. Waterman gets soundly thrashed by the combined forces of the Archangels and the Hart Foundation, the Next Generation, naturally but if you saw Glory, you know all the gory details. I also find it highly amusing that Waterman appears to trust Raven, which is going to blow up in his face in spectacular fashion. The rubes can cheer Raven if they want, but in the end it's always about Raven. It will always be about Raven and as soon as Raven can stick that knife in Waterman's back, Raven will take any chance at relieving Waterman of that belt, if Waterman doesn't lose it before Raven has a chance to turn on Waterman. Right now with the Triumvirate, the Archangels, and the Harts gunning at Waterman, this doesn't look good for the champion.

Tony Mamaluke has more guts then he has brains. A hell of a lot more guts. If I was wrestling Sacrifice, I would have leaped over the top rope and for the countout as soon as that bell rang. My spies are telling me that Mamaluke is suffering from cracked ribs and a herniated disk in his back due to the multiple choke slams. First the broken arm, now this, perhaps someone can break Mamaluke's jaw, so he doesn't get himself into trouble by running his mouth.

Need I remind you that WrestleClash III is only a mere 115 days away, on August 29th. This may be the biggest NAWA card to date when it takes place and will be the climax to the highest grossing season in NAWA history. The third season of the NAWA has been a great one, as the one, the only, Dan Marion made his debut during this season.

New Jack appears to be ready to install his own unique brand of law and order in the NAWA as well as making some good matches. This week on Glory, New Jack has mandated a Triple Threat Match for the International Title. AJ Styles, CM Punk, and champion Miles Stylish collide for that belt. More Gold Rush news during this week as well.

The Ultimate Japan Wrestling tour is going great. Juventud Guerrera and Lenny Lane are the NAWA representatives on that tour and they have competed in many six man junior matches recently. When Lenny and Juvi return to the states, they have promised it will be the Summer of Lenny and Juvi. Whatever this may mean, I do not know, but I am sure we will find out.

"The darkness is something that many fear but few understand. The Casket is the final resting place for many a souls." The above quote is from a cryptic message from the Chosen One(then again, when isn't the shell formally known as Jeff Jarrett anything but cryptic), no doubt relating to his match with Norman Smiley at Gold Rush, which will be a Casket Match. Yes indeed, another Marion Meltdown exclusive. This may blow off this near two year feud between these two long time rivals but only the bookerman knows.

The Gold Rush Tournament. Half of the Elite Eight have been decided. CM Punk vs Raven. Miles Stylish vs AJ Styles. This week on Glory, another two men will qualify but when do not know who is wrestling. The Chosen One, Norman Smiley, Rapmaster Killings, Tony Mamaluke, Christopher Daniels, Chris Sabin, Jerry Lynn, and Johnny Swinger have yet to be drawn into qualifying matches but have been entered into the tournament, so it could be any combination of those eight meeting in the two matches this week on Glory.

Hi Tech and Johnny Excalibur are two strange men from two different times. We saw the latest of the weird videos involving these two from this week. Apperantly, to escape his crimes from treason, Johnny Excalibur dove through some kind of time portal, along with Hi Tech to get away. What will take portal lead them to? Could it be...The New Age Wrestling Alliance? What will these two time travels do if they arrive? How much will they muck up time? Will they create some kind of paradox that causes the world to blow up? When will Dan stop asking questions to fill his column? Tune in this week on Glory to find out.

Glory this week. A great show, a damn fine show. The Triple Threat International Title Match I just mentioned. More Gold Rush Tournament. More New Jack. We also have a huge main event, as Ron Waterman and Raven join forces to take on Armageddon and Destruction. Is Waterman setting himself up for a fall by trusting Raven? What evil plan will Christopher Daniels have to deal with two of his rivals? Will Teddy Hart be involved? Just watch the damn show and of course, just when you thought it was safe to turn on the Television, The Backyard Dudes against the French Revolution, this week on Glory. The latest chapter of this ever so classic feud continues. Sweeps month, gotta love it, eh?

Until next week.
