[move]MONDAY NIGHT MAYHEM[/move]

"I'm BacK and better than ever..." Eric Bischoff makes his way down the ramp to a mixed reaction from the crowd. He climbs into the ring and grabs a microphone.

EB : Three Weeks from now the IWA will bring you "LAst Man Standing" live on pay per view.

The crowd cheers as Eric nods.

EB : At this pay per view you will witness a 20 man battle royal to determine who will face the Champion at the IWA Extravaganza " WrestleFest" in March. Now , the reason I'm out here is to say that how people perform in there matches leading up to LMS, will determine when they enter and they will not know what their entrance number is until their music plays. So once again history made by Eric Bischoff for the enjoyment of EACH and EVERY one of you.

His music plays and he leaves after the huge announcement.

Cruiserweight Match for a Shot at the CW Title
Tajiri vs. Rey Mysterio

This match was quick paced and was everything the fans wanted to see as two seasoned cruiserweight vets met up. Rey Mysterio fought valiantly but it was a Kick out of nowhere that ended the match.

Tajiri pinned Rey Mysterio with the Kick Of Death in 0:12:53.
Rating: ***

Batista vs. Chris Masters

In a Match that was overly hyped on the IWA website it did not deliver. The crowd was behind Batista but couldn't even bring themselves to boo Masters, he is so boring. Batista finished him off with a Batista Bomb.

Batista pinned Chris Masters with the Batista Bomb in 0:15:28.
Rating: * 1/2

The People's Choice [The Rock / Christian] vs. Shelton Benjamin and AJ Styles

This match featured some great talent and it delivered. The ending was the most shocking thing to hit the IWA when The Rock had just been threw out of the ring by Shelton Benjamin. Styles came into the ring with two chairs and offered one two Benjamin. Benjamin declined and AJ slowly frowned he then lowblowed Benjamin. He threw the other chair to Christian and they hit Benjamin with a con-chair-to. The Rock slowly entered the ring and asked what the hell was going on he tried to speak to Christian but Christian kept his back turned away from the rock. Rock jerked Christian around and Christian plastered the Rock with a chair shot.  AJ and Christian looked at each other. AJ kicked Shelton before leaving the ring as Christian looked down at a bleeding Rock.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Backstage Todd Grisham stops a walking AJ Styles , who has his gym bag and is leaving the arena...

TG : Hey , what was the deal out there AJ?

AJ turns irritated, and looks at Todd with an annoyed look.

AJ : You want to know what the "deal" is? I don't know what the deal is bewteen The Rock and Christian but AJ Styles is tired of being held down by some talentless LOSER named Shelton Benjamin. All he has did since the first time we teamed is caused me to lose. To be honest I never wanted to team with him. And when I was attacked I FAKED it, so that I didn't have to get embarassed in front of all those fans. Somehow I still end up teamed with him. Well now, there is no Shelton Benjamin and AJ Styles...

Suddenly from nowhere comes Shelton Benjamin. The two start to trade blows before secuirty breaks it up.

SB : ME AND YOU, LAST MAN STANDING ! YOU ARE GONNA PAY!

AJ : YOU'RE ON!

Scene fades to commercial

Singles Match for a Shot at the X-Core Title
Randy Orton vs. Shawn Michaels

Samoa Joe came out and did commentary for the match. The match didn't last long because Joe stood up and drew Shawn Michaels attention. Shawn dove outof the ring onto Joe and the ref counted him out giving Randy Orton the win. Inside the ring Orton celebrated as Joe took out Shawn with the X-Core title. Orton had no idea what was going on when Joe snuck in the ring and caught him in the Kokina clutch.  Joe let Orton go after he had passed out and stood over the new number one contender title raised.

Randy Orton defeated Shawn Michaels by countout in 0:05:07.

We open backstage were Kurt Angle is standing in front of the Mayhem backdrop. The crowd pops as he adjusts the IWA Title. He begins to speak...

KA : Tonight...I will defend my title against the man I made tap at November to Remember, Chris Jericho...Chris, I want you to know that I will do everything in my power to insure that this title is around my waist for a long time and I will not let you nor anyone else take it from me. For the last few weeks you have attacked me, you have hit me with chairs and I finally got some retribution by making you tap. Tonight I will make you tap again...and you will know that I AM BETTER THAN YOU, it's  true...it's damned true!

Angle puts in his mouthpiece and walks off as we go to commercial.

Tag Team Title Match
The New Ministry vs. Special Crimes Unit [Eddie G & booker]

This match was quick, and perhaps this was good. The match was quick and fun and was over when the New Ministry hit the END!

The New Ministry (Abyss and The Undertaker) defeated Booker T and Eddie Guerrero
when Undertaker pinned Booker after the The End in 0:03:44.
Rating: ***
(The New Ministry retained the IWA World Tag Team Championships.)

------------------------------------------------------------------------

After the match Eric Bischoff Showed up on the tron and said that since the New Ministry has yet to find a threat to their titles he has found a team worthy. He began to laugh as Monty Brown and Rhyno walked out onto the stage. They will clash at Last Man Standing!

IWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH
Chris Jericho vs. Kurt Angle (c)

The Match was even better than their pay per view encounter with both men locking in their finishers and both men getting out of them. The match went on for Thirty minutes and when it wneded there was controversy. Angle went for his normal German suplexes. He had Jericho pinned but his shoulders were down as well. We have controversy...

Kurt Angle and Chris Jericho battled to a double pin in 0:30:09.
Rating: **** 1/4
(Kurt Angle retained the IWA World Heavyweight Championship.)

The Show ends with The ref holding the world title not knowing who to give it to...

I really like the combination of your tag teams; Eddie Guerrero and Booker T, Abyss and The Undertaker... And possibly an alliance with Christian and AJ Styles? That would be a very dominate tag team!

Keep up the super work!

Yeah, Christian and AJ would rock a lot more than AJ and Shelton, as the team would have someone who could do mic work. Looks like they're not teaming up however, but getting their separate singles matches at Last Man Standing.

Didn't someone have a Christian/A.J. team a while ago? Or did I imagine it? Still, nice card - I'm guessing Jericho'll get a rematch for the title at LMS, Ja? As far as who'll win the battle royal, call me when it's the last card before the PPV and I'll make a prediction. By the way - booked or unbooked?

Also, how creepy is it that I use the PPV names LMS and Wrestlefest AND I used to use the 'Mayhem' name for my Monday night show? You're not breaking into my house when I'm at work are you? :P

lol nah i was in an EFED that used those names just stuck with me i guess lol

I book the title matches on Mayhem they are unbooked at the PPVS and any other time.
