IWA DEBUT SHOW - MONDAY NIGHT MAYHEM 10/10/05

I am Eric Bischoff, IWA owner, but then of course , you probably already knew that. *Crowd Boos* But I am not out here to make you all happy by talking about how great I am. Hell, my actions speak for me. I am out here tonight to announce a TOURNAMENT. A Tournament for the vacant IWA World Heavyweight Title. Which will happen tongiht. *crowd cheers* It will be a total of four five man battle royals, the winner of each will face each other in a four corners match for the IWA title. Oh...and it starts now. ..:: Before Eric Bishoff can even get backstage "You think You know Me" sounds out over the PA. As Edge makes his way onto the stage.::.. ****************************************************************************************************************** -First IWA World title Tournament Battle Royal- Edge vs. AJ Styles vs. "Captain Charisma" Christian vs. Matt Hardy vs. Samoa Joe The match started it off quick with all men brawling for the first two minutes. Matt Hardy went after Edge early and payed for it after Christian hit Matt Hardy from behind with a low blow, allowing Edge to hit the Edgecution to get the elimination on Matt. -Matt Hardy Eliminated- The match went on for two more minutes with Edge and Joe brawling and Christian and AJ exchanging blows outside the ring. The match took a turn when Christian pushed AJ into Joe who hit AJ with a hard right that sent him stumbling back into an Unprettier. Christian covered and like that Styles was out of there. -AJ Styles Eliminated- Christian and Edge took turns beating on Joe. He fought back and hit an Island Driver on Christian putting him out the way. He whipped Edge into the corner and climbed onto Edge. The ref was checking on Christian while Joe was hitting Edge with a ten punch combo. Edge lowblowed Joe and somehow hit a powerbomb on Joe fromt hat position. Edge got the refs attention and covered. -Samoa Joe eliminated- Christian got to his feet and he and Edge met up in the middle of the ring. They began to argue over who would lay down for who. They decided to play rock paper scissors. They began to play and before Christian could get to paper edge kicked him in the midsection and hit a reverse neckbreaker for the win. ..::Edge celebrates in the ring. As he is advancing. Christian looks upset as he backs up the ramp.::.. 5-Man Battle Royal: Edge won a 5-man Battle Royal: x Edge defeated M. Hardy after the Edgecution in 0:10:34 x Christian defeated AJ after a vertical facebuster in 0:12:55 x Edge defeated Joe after a power bomb in 0:15:17 x Edge defeated Christian after a reverse neckbreaker in 0:15:20 Rating: **** **************************************************************************************************************** -Second IWA World title Tournament Battle Royal- Triple H vs. Batista vs. John "Bradshaw" Layfield vs. Abyss vs. Kane This match was one filled with powerful men. Abyss was the first to go at the 5 minute mark after a chokeslam from Hell. -Abyss Elminated- JBL was the next to go after being with a spinebuster 10 minutes after Abyss' elmination. -JBL elminated- It came down to three men. Kane, HHH , and Batista. Batista was eliminated after being pedigree'd. -Batista Eliminated- Kane proved to be more than enough for HHH who had become overly confident. The tide turned when Kane went for a chokeslam and HHH kicked him between the legs. HHH hit the pedigree and got the pin to advance. 5-Man Battle Royal: Triple H won a 5-man Battle Royal: x Kane defeated Abyss in 0:04:11 x Batista defeated JBL after a spinebuster slam in 0:12:18 x Triple H defeated Batista after the Pedigree in 0:12:59 x Triple H defeated Kane after a Pedigree in 0:13:56 Rating: *** 1/4 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Backstage we see The Coach as he is standing by with the second man to advance Triple H. JC : HHH , you just came off the heels of a huge match and you are now set to fight for the IWA title later on tonight. Your feelings? HHH : My feelings? Haha, Coach are you an idiot or sumthin'. I feel great I just stepped in the ring with four of the most dominant men in wrestling and I won. You just need to make sure you have your time reserved to interview me after I win the World title TONIGHT! Because I am the Game and I am that DAMN GOOD! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -Third IWA World title Tournament Battle Royal- Randy Orton vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. John Cena vs. Chris Jericho vs. Eddie Guerrero This match was action packed with many upsets. One being Chris Jericho being eliminated by John Cena after a belly to Belly suplex. -Jericho Eliminated- The match was back and forth between the remaining competitors for ten minutes before the next elmination which saw Shelton Benjamin eliminate Eddie Guerrero with the Dragon Whip. -Eddie Guerrero elminated- A minute later Shelton was caught with a flying forearm and elminated shortly after. -Shelton Benjamin eliminated- It all came down to two men. Randy Orton and John Cena , two young superstars. They went at it for a good while before John Cena was caught with a RKO. Giving Randy Orton the victory. 5-Man Battle Royal: Randy Orton won a 5-man Battle Royal: x J. Cena defeated Jericho after a belly-to-belly suplex in 0:05:24 x S. Benjamin defeated E. Guerrero after the Dragon Whip in 0:15:27 x J. Cena defeated S. Benjamin after a flying forearm in 0:16:21 x R. Orton defeated J. Cena after a flying forearm in 0:18:46 Rating: **** 1/4 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -Final IWA World title Tournament Battle Royal- Kurt Angle vs. The Undertaker vs. The Rock vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Booker T The match was in the Undertaker's control from the time the opening bell tolled. It wasn't long after he claimed a victim by hitting Shawn Michaels with a chokes slam and getting the pinfall. -Shawn Michaels eliminated- Booker tried to slow the dead man down but he was caught with a Tombstone for his troubles he was elminated. -Booker T eliminated- The Rock was firing on all cylinders as he and Kurt double teamed the undertaker. Angle then turned on the rock hitting him with a low blow. Undertaker then clotheslined The Rock and pinned him to eliminate the Rock. -The Rock eliminated- The two men, Undertaker and Angle, battled for six minutes. The crowd did not want to cheer for neither but got behind Angle , I guess because he is the lesser of the two evils. The match climaxed when Taker went for a running DDT but Angle reversed it into a Northern Lights Suplex for the win. 5-Man Battle Royal: Kurt Angle won a 5-man Battle Royal: x Undertaker defeated S. Michaels after a choke slam in 0:04:29 x Undertaker defeated Booker after the Tombstone in 0:08:05 x Undertaker defeated The Rock after a clothesline in 0:10:54 x K. Angle defeated Undertaker after a Northern Lights suplex in 0:16:05 Rating: **** -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ..:: "I'm Back" sounds out across the PA system as Eric Bischoff makes his way down to the ring. He stands in the middle of the ring and pulls a microphone out of his coat pocket. ::.. EB : What a night it has been! I mean the title match has shaped up to be one of the biggest matches in history and that is all because of me, Eric Bischoff. *crowd boos* Now, there is another title of concern here in IWA, or should i say titles. The Tag Team titles. I have decided that since a tournament did so well tonight. We will have another one next week for the tag team titles. Where the teams will be randomly chosen and we will HAVE to have champions next week. Now I have already reached into the hat and generated teams. And here *reaches into pocket and pulls out a folded sheet of paper* in my hands are the teams. Now if you don't mind , I will share who is on this list, right now. The first team, will consist of , oh I am loving this, Booker T and Eddie Guerrero. *The crowd cheers* The second team will consist of The Undertaker and the big man , ABYSS! *The crowd boos but you can tell they are excited with this major team* The third team will consist of AJ STYLES AND SHELTON BENJAMIN! *crowd cheers* And the last final team will consist of the People's Champion , The Rock, and Captain Charisma, Christian! Have I out done myself...or what? ...::Bischoff's music fires up and and he exits the ring.:... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Four Corners IWA World Heavyweight Championship Match Edge vs. HHH vs. Randy Orton vs. Kurt Angle This match had blockbuster written all over it...but it didn't deliever the way people thought it would. Almost as quick as it started it was over as Angle hit a quick Angle Slam on Randy Orton to win the title. Four Corners Match for the vacant IWA World Heavyweight Championship: Kurt Angle defeated Edge, Triple H and Randy Orton when K. Angle pinned R. Orton after an Angle Slam in 0:00:57. Rating: ** (Kurt Angle won the IWA World Heavyweight Championship.) ..:: Angle jumped around the Ring as he grasped the IWA Championship closely against his chest. He threw his arms into the air , IWA title up high. He continued to celebrate as The show went of the air. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Next Week on Mayhem Tag Tournament Rock / Christian vs. AJ Styles / Shelton Benjamin Undertaker / Abyss vs. Eddie G./Booker T New IWA Champion Kurt Angle will make his first appearance since winning the IWA title. |
