Welcome to the Fleet Center in Boston, Massachusetts! And welcome to the pre-game show for the first pay-per-view of 2005, Winter Warfare! The card is absolutely stacked, including three titles on the line and for the first time in GCW history, War Games, the Match Beyond! This would definitely be a night we wouldn't soon forget!

Match #1
PRE-GAME SHOW MATCH
Matt Morgan vs. "The Italian Stallion" Chuck Palumbo
Since officially being named a GCW competitor as former President Ryan Niemiller's last act has had a certain amount of difficulty. Though his career is still young, being thrown to Kurt Angle and Eddie Guerrero, two dangerous veterans, is not how you want to start. Tonight he had a chance to turn his fortunes around on the pre-game show against the ever interesting "Italian Stallion" Chuck Palumbo. Palumbo has some skill, no doubt about that, but he's just freaking goofy. Morgan had some difficulties in this match, but Palumbo isn't quite on par with Angle or Guerrero, so Morgan was more easily able to cover up his mistakes and got his first victory in GCW with a massive Choke Slam.

Matt Morgan pinned Chuck Palumbo with the Choke Slam in 0:10:18.
Rating: * 1/2

They often say the first victory is the hardest one to get. Matt Morgan has climbed that mountain. Mark my words; this won't be the last time Matt Morgan is in the winner's circle.

The fans are ready, the wrestlers are ready, everyone is ready for Winter Warfare! Global Championship Wrestling hopes to kick off 2005 with a bang, and with this lineup, how could they not?

I gotta say, there is one man who, to me, feels out of place on the card you listed. That man is Low Ki. I don't know why, he just feels...lost. lol, this is why I am excited to see the PPV; to see if he can hold his own. Should be a great card.  So, I'm going to predict:

War Games - Team Angle (Kurt Angle/Eric Angle/Steve Bradley/Shelton Benjamin/Charlie Haas) vs. Chris Jericho/Randy Orton/Chris Benoit/Low-Ki/Brock Lesnar (I got a feeling Ki is going play a big part in that victory, just because I said he was out of place, lol)

No-Holds Barred Match for the North American Title - "The Alpha Male" Monty Brown (c) vs. "Latino Heat" Eddie Guerrero

Television Title Match - "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels (c) vs. Rhyno

Cruiserweight Title Match - Paul London (c) vs. "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles

Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Sean O'Haire

The Hurricane vs. Justin Credible

The Cabinet (John Bradshaw Layfield/Abyss/Doug Basham/Danny Basham) vs. Jeff Hardy/Matt Hardy/Goldust/Booker T
