Gagne picks up the win in the rematch from last week.  And surprisingly, the reaction to the Dirty White Boy was even worse this week with the fans at one point yelling for him to "just go home".

The Lightning Storm vs The Quebecers

Lance Storm was unable to make it back in time from a trip to Japan to defend the Tag Team Titles tonight.  So in an unprecidented move the Wrestling Commission declared that Tim Horner could bring any wrestler from the roster as his partner to defend the Tag Team Titles against the Quebecers.

Pierre Oulette takes Tim Horner down with a flying legdrop.

In the end, it was Dick Slater that made the pin on Quebecer Pierre for the win, which made Jacques infuriated as Slater was NOT the guy they trained for.  But the arguing was to no avail as the Quebecers now will have to leave Calgary.

The Cowboy and the Pretty Boy take the win and are the new #1 contenders.  Chuck Palumbo reportedly missed this match due to also being in Japan and missing a flight back for this match.

Dick Slater has done the unthinkable!  He has beaten Chris Jericho even with it being a three on one situation in this match with the Quebecers at ringside!  Rougeau is in the ring and from behind Jericho nails Slater.  Jericho is holding Slater for Rougeau, Rougeau winds up, Slater ducks and Jacques nails Jericho to the delight of the fans!

Chris Benoit vs Vince McMahon

Benoit has the Crossface locked in and is refusing to let go of the hold!  Greg Gagne is out to ring and he is pleading with Benoit to release the hold and finally Benoit does, but with the sick and demented smile on his face.  And out comes Chris Jericho to check on Vince McMahon.  But he is stopped by Gagne as the two men stare at each other nose to nose in the middle of the ring.

Out to the ring first, to mild cheers from the fans, Greg Gagne.  

And his opponent, on the way to the ring, being booed by the fans, Quebecer Pierre.

Wow, the mind reels as to what Vinny Russo could have done with this combination :o

And to think WCW had both of them at roughly the same time with George being renamed Maestro and Duncum being part of the West Texas Rednecks.

I like seeing WWE going with Cade and Murdock as it sort of resembles this team in a way.
