McMahon, would have all the i's dotted and the t's crossed, especially here in Calgary.  So Bret, Chris, I'll be seein' ya, EH!"

The Quebecers (Jacques does all the talking):  "We're der Quebecers.  {waving tiny Quebec flags}  And we're going to open the doors to Calgary tonight and see what's on the other side.  And when we get done winning tonight, next week, Horner and Storm, we want a title match with you."

Chris Benoit (with big cheesy smile on his face):  "Vince McMahon, are you THAT stupid to ask me for MORE punishment?  Vince, Vince, Vince, I thought you had learned your lesson with Bret.  But to come after a guy as vicious as I am?  So tonight, Vince, I want you to watch closely as I take our YOUR man, Chris Jericho, since he put Bret out of action after last week's match."

[Vince McMahon interfered against Chris Benoit.]

Benoit gets the win, but in the end, Vince McMahon jumps in to the ring to make it a two-on-one, as Jericho only gave up so he could save his leg from being broken by the Crippler.  And it looks like Benoit is going to be totally pummelled and obliterated in this two-on-one situation!  And the arena side doors open...  And in walks...

With the aid of his crutches... it's Owen Hart!  Hart storms the ring, and takes a wild swing at Jericho with a crutch, clearing the ring except for the prone Benoit, who has been busted open at the hands of McMahon after the match.

Card rating: ** 3/4

Darren frickin' Drozdov! Hell yeah, a great addition to your roster there. I am shocked that he won the Dungeon Title, however, as I thought for SURE that Slater would retain. In fact, I'm shocked at nearly all the victors tonight. My predictions were TERRIBLE. I dont know if I got any right at all. Anyway, Jericho and Benoit's match was excellent. Nice to see Jericho and Vinny Mac together to form a great heel team. And just loved seeing Owen come in to clean house. That guy was great...such a shame about him, and that's an understatement. In any case, I look forward to EP 17.

Me too, about as shocked as I was that Droz showed up in Calgary.

however, as I thought for SURE that Slater would retain.  In fact, I'm shocked at nearly all the victors tonight.  My predictions were TERRIBLE.  I dont know if I got any right at all.
I think we were in the same boat... at least on the unbooked matches.  ;)

Anyway, Jericho and Benoit's match was excellent.  Nice to see Jericho and Vinny Mac together to form a great heel team.
All I can that some things may not be as they seem.  Remember the deal with Jericho and Gagne that was struck.  ;)

And just loved seeing Owen come in to clean house.  That guy was great...such a shame about him, and that's an understatement.  In any case, I look forward to EP 17.
Well since Owen is on the shelf for at least another 2 months, I thought it best to bring him in as a mystery guest and use his injury to my advantage.

My fondest memory of Owen was the night on RAW from MSG that Vince had made sure to seat NY State Athletic Commissioner Floyd Patterson (yes the former pro boxer) front row ringside.  Owen ended up facing Brian Pillman and for the first 10 minutes prior to the typical "commerical break" mid-match, they ran the whole match in slow motion with total over selling of EVERY move.  Quite possibly one of the funniest matches to have seen.  And it was shortly after that night, that WWE no longer had to listen to the NY Athletic Commission rules for its shows.  After the commercial break they busted out a helluva match, but prior to it, they were doing their best not to laugh as even a chase around the ring on the floor was done as a fast walk instead of a run.

Stay tuned for a lineup for Ep 17 coming shortly.

And the debut of Random Wrestlers Lights Out Match Tournament!

To further explain the Random Wrestlers Lights Out Tournament:
-- The match will always be the last one on the card AFTER the main event.
-- One wrestler will be randomly chosen from the good guys locker room, one wrestler will be randomly chosen from the bad guys locker room.
-- The match will be wrestled under anything goes rules and will not have a time limit.
-- The first 8 wrestlers to win a match of this type will be featured in a tournament to determine the first ever Toughest of the Tough Champion.
-- Should any wrestler win more than one match in the qualification rounds of the tournament, this will increase their seed position in the tournament.
-- All other seeds will be made based on WatA rankings at the time the 8th wrestler qualifies for the tournament.
-- And yes, this is not a new concept, I used a similar format in my second ever TNM circuit with TNM6.2... and it was a such a success in that unposted circuit, that I have modified it to better suit a smaller roster such as WatA's.  (it used to be 16 qualified, which took at least 4 months to get to the tourney and in most cases 5 or 6 months, and then another 4 months for tournament to run)  This new format should make the tourney go much faster, in that qualifying will last roughly 2 months, and the actual tourney will last almost 2 months as well.

And the debut of Random Wrestlers Lights Out Match Tournament!

This tournament sounds like a great idea. It is going to be great to see how it turns out because I have never seen anything like it before. And a new title is always excellent.
Trust me, the first time I ran a tournament of this type, my television champion in the circuit I was doing was Arn Anderson. And he was feuding with Matt Borne and Greg Valentine for the TV Title. While the tourney was going on, he lost the TV Title. In turn, Valentine also had lost the title to another lower card guy. Matt Borne had become my US Champ. And somehow right before the card that featured the then one night only tourney, Arn Anderson beat Borne for the US Title. And the tourney, being unbooked, ended with a Matt Borne vs Arn Anderson main event, continuing their feud as they moved up the card. It was quite the tourney as somehow bodyguard Virgil ended up qualifying in the #2 spot behind Valentine, who had won something like 7 qualifier matches, to Virgil's 3.

With the new abilities of the random feature to limit who can be picked, this further allows for better heel vs face matchups, thusly allowing to use storylines that feature seperate locker rooms for heels and faces.  And the original format was great, but I think this new format better fits this Calgary based WatA circuit, as the original RLO tourney was in a circuit that had at least 40 wrestlers at any given time.
