Jason Cross has scored a big win this week over a former X-Division Champion in John Walters. Cross is looking for a match with the Global X-Division Champion Teddy Hart down the line and he is going to have to put together a solid case by a string of big victories. This week could very well be the first of many.

Mike Awesome is backstage. Awesome says he is a fighting champion and this week, he defends against not one, but two men. Awesome says that he beat Chris Sabin in a singles match and he beat Rob Van Dam in a singles match, so they are going to try and gang up on him to win the Global World Title or maybe chicken out and pin each other so they can avoid the Awesome express. It won't happen as Awesome will prove why he is the best wrestler in the world by beating two of the greatest wrestlers in the world in one fell swoop.

This was a high flying, hot impact match and Spanky managed to score the pin on the man that he has been feuding with on and one since the very first show. After the match, Spanky extends his hand to London as a sign of respect and London responds by slapping the taste out of Spanky's mouth and then running off. London has no respect for anyone since losing the Global World Title. He refuse to shake Chris Sabin's hand after Sabin beat him last week and now he did the same thing to Spanky.

Rob Van Dam has an interview. Tonight will be the night that he captures the Global World Title for a second time. Sabin may be tough and Awesome may be brutal, but no one gets higher than Rob Van Dam.

The series is tied up 1-1 as Low Ki puts Tazz through the table with a breath taking moonsault. The third match of the series will take place next week and it will be a Barbed Wire Match, where the winner receives a shot at the Global Tag Team Titles in three weeks time from this show.

CM Punk is backstage and he doesn't look too pleased. It seems that Colt Cabana has missed his flight and Punk will have to go up against James Gibson tonight without any back up and Gibson having the House of Huss as back up. Punk looks very displeased at these events, as it is a possible three on one situation.

Van Dam came so close to winning the belt and Sabin rushes into the ring and knocks Awesome to the floor with a clothesline. Sabin takes out Awesome with punches as Van Dam gets up but someone is in the ring behind Van Dam. IT'S RHINO! He doesn't even work here! Rhino charges Van Dam and knocks him down with the Gore. Security rushes into the ring a second too late and tackles Rhyno, handcuffing him and sending him to stew at the county jail for a night with Bubba. Sabin tosses Awesome into the ring and Sabin has the title belt but MNM rush into the ring and attack Sabin from behind. These two men are friends of Awesome but Sabin fights off MNM and gets clubbed from behind from Awesome.

Spanky is out from the back! Spanky enters the ring and attacks Awesome. Spanky goes for the Sliced Bread #2 but Awesome manages to heave him to the floor! The three on one beatdown continues and Paul London rushes out! London has a chair and MNM slide to the floor but Awesome stands his crowd. London raises the chair and spins around, bringing the chair into the head of Chris Sabin! The crowd boos as London has just cracked that chair over the head of Chris Sabin. London is shaking hands with Mike Awesome! This is the man who destroyed London to win the Global World Title! Once again Ki/Homicide and Haas/Tazz have a great match. I don't think those guys could have a bad match against each other.  And another sweet ending.  The King's Court looks awesome, but the combo Sabin, Spanky, and RVD makes for a great face group.  I love how you have worked Sabin and Spanky into the upper card. Two underrated guys there.  As much as I love London as a face, I think he could make a great heel.
