Shelley promises that if he ever meets Hart in the ring, he will destroy him. Teddy Hart says that Shelley may be good, but he is not Teddy Hart and thus he will fail. Of course there is another reason that he will fail and this is Bobby Roode's cue to attack Alex Shelley from behind with the Northern Lariat, causing his head to crack up against the wall. Alex Shelley is down and he has a match later against which ever House of Huss member is not involved in the Tag Team Title defense.

Not the reunion that Tanaka and Mahoney were hoping for, as they lost to the King's Court(or whatevers left of it, it seems that Aries and Dinsmore are the only two men hanging onto the hope that Lawler will return). Balls has the chair and Tanaka gets up. BALLS DRIVES THE CHAIR DOWN ONTO THE HEAD OF TANAKA! No sell. Tanaka and Balls trade punches like two drunken men duking it out at a pub. Sweet, merciful crap, Spanky has done it. Spanky has scored the pin over Rob Van Dam. Van Dam gets up and goes to shake Spanky's hand but Van Dam seems distracted at something on the ramp. Van Dam mouths: "What's he doing here?" We look up the ramp and see Jerry Lawler on the ramp, applauding the victory of Spanky. Spanky looks about as confused as Van Dam. We are out of time, see you next week.

NEXT WEEK:

The match you have all been waiting for. The Global World Title will be at stake when Mike Awesome defends against Spanky.

We will also declare the next challenger for the Global World Title, as Paul London collides with Chris Sabin.

Match one in the best of three series, a streetfight, featuring Tazz and Charlie Haas against Homicide and Low Ki will be on tap for next week.

Rob Van Dam faces off against Austin Aries.

A six man tag team match involving many of the top names of the X-Division.

Awesome show.  Definitely looking forward to seeing what happens between Sabin and London on the next show.  I am a fan of both, but a bigger fan of London, so I would love to see him get that title shot.  The combination of Tazz and Haas is just great, and a feud with Low Ki and Homicide should be intense, as if it isn't already.  The best of 3 series should be awesome.  I like the teaming of Dinsmore and Aries too...two great, young technical wrestlers like them, should make a nice run towards the tag titles.  I can't wait to see what happens between Spanky and Awesome for the title.  Spanky doesn't back down from anyone.  I didn't really buy him as a main eventer at first, but  a win over RVD, and the fact he had the bulls to drive Awesome through a table on the last show makes me believe.  I love your fed...you use a lot of the same guys I like to use, or like watch watch, and you got good stories going on.
