I am once again trying to get back into posting more, though I have been reading everyone's stuff. It's been busy season at work, and I have been playing crazy amounts of softball. But anyways, to give a little background on HIW. It's been up and running for abot 7 months game time. Paul Heyman is the booker, but doesn't own HIW, and he is tightlipped about who does in fact own the company. Now with just the responsibility of booking, Heyman is looking to bring back the fire, the intensity, and the passion of ECW. Impact TV is on the air nationally, but at a late night slot, with the occassional primetime show every few months. The roster is made up largely of young, indy stars. The top guys right now are, Austin Aries, Homicide, Low Ki, James Gibson, Jerry Lynn, and The Briscoe's.

Homicide was the first World Champ, beating James Gibson and Low Ki in a 3 way, and held the title for just over a month, before Jimmy Jacobs upset Homicide, in what was supposed to be a warm up match for Homicide against Austin Aries. Aries went on to beat Jacobs for the title, and has been dominant for the last 4 months, beating all the top guys and then some, with the exception of Low Ki, who he has yet to face.

Aries has developed into a tweener character for HIW. He came into the fed as a mid card heel and leader of Generation Next, but quickly broke into the limelight by challenging James Gibson for his spot in the World Title match to crown the first HIW CHampion. After a stellar match, Aries was thrust into the upper card scene. He would later break up the group of Generation Next, after a falling out between he and Teddy Hart, and Roderick Strong leaving the company. He is still as cocky as ever, which doesn't alway sit well with the fans or other wrestlers, but his tremendous wrestling skills are not ignored by the fans either, as they recognize that he continually entertains them, so he receives as many cheers, if not more, than he does boo's.   Add to that the fact he has beaten most of the top guys in the company to retain his title, such as Homicide, James Gibson, Teddy Hart, Jerry Lynn, Kid Kash, just to name a few, put him over major in the eyes of the fans, and the Heyman.

Homicide has been the main heel of the fed, as he and Low Ki had a brutal and bloody feud, after Low Ki helped Jimmy Jacobs upset Homicide for the title. Homicide brought in Steve "Monsta" Mack, and formed the Rottweillers, to aid in his current feud with BJ Whitmer and Jimmy Jacobs.  This feud came about, after Jacobs upset Homicide for the World Title.  Of course, Low Ki did have something to do with that, which led to the violent feud between Ki and Homicide, but Cide never forgot about being embarassed by Jacobs, and has been after him ever since.  Whitmer was brought into the feud, after teaming with Jacobs a few times, and the feud has now shifted it's focus more on Whitmer and Homicide, as they have had some great, brutal matches, that has helped Whitmer to rise up the card a bit.

The top faces of the company without a doubt have been Low Ki, James Gibson, and The Briscoe's. The Briscoe's recently won the vacated tag team titles, and have feuded on and off with the Havanna Pitbulls. Their style and youth make them huge favorites. James Gibson and Low Ki are the two most over and respected faces in the company, since they continue to put on stellar match after stellar match. The two even had a competitive feud going, which Low Ki recently ended after a 3 falls to 0 victory in an Iron Man Match. During their little feud, Gibson was only able to score one pinfall over Low Ki. Low Ki's feud with Homicide was recently reignited, after Low Ki saved BJ Whitmer from a potentially career ending move at the hands of Homicide.

In other happenings, Frankie Kazarian has been involved in a feud with Jimmy Rave and Prince Nana of The Embassy. Several months back, Rave scored a couple of cheap victories over Kazarian. At the time, Kazarian's partner, Aaron Stevens was out of action for a short time, so Kazarian wanted to put together a decent singles run, but kept getting screwed by Rave and Nana, and became increasingly frustrated. Things came to a head when Rave cost Kazarian the TV Title to Super Dragon. Kazarian has been out for blood since. Aaron Stevens recently returned to action, and has tried to get Kazarian's mind off of Rave, and go after the vacant Tag Straps. Stevens finally grew frustrated with Kazarian this past week on Impact TV, when Kazarian's attention was turned to Rave and Nana at ringside, and it ultimately cost them the title's to The Briscoe's. He had a few harsh words for Kazarian, but Kazarian promised to finish his business next week on Impact TV in an anything goes match with Rave.

HIW recently started a Young Guns tournament, giving uncontracted wrestlers a chance to earn a spot with HIW. In the single's tournament, 8 men are fighting it out in a double elimination tournament with the winner receiving a contract. And 4 tag teams are battling it out in a round robin tournament to earn a contract with the company.

That's about the jist of things for now, and hopefully I will get to posting some cards shortly.

I'm going to read it all, but could you please make paragraphs so it's an easier read?? It's hard to read big segments of text on a computer.

It's even harder if someone would be dyslexic.

sorry, i was at work, and did it kinda fast, and didn't think nothing of it.  Now that I look at it, I definitely see your point.

So you'll fix it by editing??
rey619Posted on 09/02/05 at 14:57:29

Having those guys on board definetely piqued my interest, as long as the cards themselves are a little better edited  ::)

Ok, it's been fixed now.  It's still now the best write up i have ever done, but it should do.  As for my cards, they will be edited much better than that, but at the same time, my results are fairly simple.  I don't get to much into writing up actual interview or promo's for the wrestlers, until I establish the character's the way I want them.  So usually, you will see results, and summaries of matches, as well as summaries of promo's, and out of the ring and backstage action.  I don't mind if people don't reply, but I have enjoyed running this fed so far, so i thought i would share.
