Let's go to these pre-recorded comments:

Bret Hart:  "So it wasn't you Vince.  That still doesn't make me want to end your in-ring career this week.  However, it does lead me to wonder just who it was that YOU paid off to be the one to take the title.  Yeah Vince, I'm sure you had a part to play in the whole thing.  And I'm sure you'll keep denying it.  I screwed myself you'll say.  Well Vince, tonight, when I lock on the Sharpshooter, you better be prepared to pass out to the pain, because I will not let go!"

Chris Jericho:  "Jack Ragu, tonight, jerky, I am going to show you just why Quebec is Canada's red-headed step-child.  When I am through with you, your partner is gonna have to come out to the ring, and see for himself, just why the rest of Canada is better than your renegade province."

Devon Storm:  "That street sign wasn't meant for you Slater.  But you still got your grubby hands on it.  Well I'll tell you what, next week, one more time, I will defend *MY* Dungeon Title against you.  And if you lose, you will not get another title match for it, for the next 90 days.  However, if I lose, and I won't, you get to book all of my matches for the next 90 days.  That's right, you control our destinies and all you have to do is show up next week."

Chris Benoit:  "Slaughter, I've had enough of and your rediculous outfit.  I am a wrestler, I am a Canadian, and I am your worst nightmare.  I know that you are no longer under contract here, so I won't waste my time talking about you anymore, instead I am going to throw out a challenge to ANY wrestler that may just happen to be in Calgary next week, because I am tired of being ordered what to do and when to do it.  Next week, it's MY TIME!"

Bret Hart gets the better of Vince McMahon tonight, as everyone thought he would.  After the match, as Bret was getting to lock on the Sharpshooter to the cheering throng of fans in the arena, the arena lights went off, the side doors to the building opened with carlights again backlighting the doorway.  This time however, no one was standing in front of the cars.  The doors closed, the arena lights came back on.  Vince McMahon was gone from the ring, and the Universal Belt was laying in the spot where McMahon was about to have the Sharpshooter applied.  In the ring, a confused Bret Hart suspiciously picks up the Universal Belt, which still belongs to Kronus, as Hart keeps looking over his shoulder not believing that the belt is back with him.

Nothing like a good build up to a blow off match.  :)  It only took three months of building to the next card and I too am eagerly awaiting the outcome of the main event.

If the mystery man interferes and screws up the outcome of the Universal Title match we've all been waiting for, it could be a very grim day in Calgary.  At this point, I think Bret has had enough of the shenanigans.  He's sent Vince McMahon back to Connecticut, he's got the title belt back, even though it really belongs to Kronus, and he finally gets the match for the title against the champion.  All in all, this should be the match to watch.
