Match observations:

Not to be outdone by his Raw counterpart, Theodore Long announced that there
would be a 6-man Elimination Match for the vacant WWE Intercontinental Title in
tonight's main event.

Steven Richards got his second straight victory over Kurt Angle.  Angle sat in
the ring afterward seemingly in shock having lost now twice in a row to the
former jobber.

Just minutes after Eddie Guerrero, Kane, and Rob Van Dam became the last three
men standing in the main event, Super Crazy clocked RVD from behind with the
title belt and Kane finished him off shortly after.  He followed that up a
minute later with a choke slam on Guerrero to become WWE Intercontinental Champ.

Next week on Raw
-Kane defends his newly won WWE Intercontinental championship.

-A 5-man Elimination Match for the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Title featuring
Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Rob Van Dam, Super Crazy and a fifth man to be
decided by Eric Bischoff.

A hell of a lot of good quality matches there... one gripe, however...

I think it's unfair that 4 of the 6 men in the IC Title Match are now in the Heavyweight Title Match... and Kane is not. It doesn't seem fair to Kane... he won the IC Title, but now he doesn't get a chance to win the Heavyweight Title. It just seems backwards, that's all...

Yeah, I kind of messed up with my booking.  I was originally going to have World Title match first, and losers from that match would compete in Intercontinental Title match.  Unfortunately, the World Title Match has already happened, so I cannot change it.  I usually am about 5 cards ahead of what I post on the net.  Thanks for the insight though and thanks for reading!!
